Jaysin
I just had one of the coolest moments ever in Far Cry 3. I beat the game awhile ago, but I keep resetting the outposts just to retake them for funsies. But anyway, I came into a privateer outpost did a chained takedown on 3 guards and then used the last's guy's pistol(gun takedown) to take out the remaining 4 guards. Such a cool moment, I felt like I was playing as Jason Bourne not Jason Brody.

RayW
Excuse my ignorance but can some explain to me what the Humble website is all about? I've checked it out and it looks good, but I'm a little confused. Is it all Steam games, but with a % going to charity? Are they same price as they are on Steam? Cheaper? Dearer? It looks good and I'm interested in using it but I'd just like a little more clarification if someone would be so kind.

You can even customize what percentage goes to what. It's pretty neat. They are mostly known for their 'Humble Bundles' which is a bundle of select games. You can donate/purchase ANY price you want to get the games. There are some items you have to pay the average purchase/donation price to unlock though, but it's still a very cheap price.

You get two versions of the game when you buy a game form Humble. You get a Steam key (if the game is available on Steam of course) and a downloadable version of the game which is DRM free I believe.

The Humble Store itself usually has the same price as most games in Steam, but a smaller selection of games. They have sales too every now and then. The only difference between the Humble Store and Humble Bundle is you HAVE to pay to the sticker price in the Humble Store but you're still donating money to charity.

Keep an eye on the Humble Weekly Sales too. They can have a few good ones from time to time.

For me, when a game is both on Steam and Humble Store for the same price, I go for the Humble Store version since it's being a bit more charitable and you get a downloadable copy of the game. I have nothing against Steam really, but they are already rich and their games have the Steam DRM, so... yeah.

Hope I cleared some things up, though I think I could have confused you even more. Sorry if I did. If you have an specific questions, feel free to ask. I'm not exactly good at explanations, lol.

<img alt=":o" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/redface.png.900245280682ef18c5d82399a93c5827.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" />

EDIT: And someone beat me to it in a more simple and effective manner. <img alt=":)" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/smile.png.142cfa0a1cd2925c0463c1d00f499df2.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" />

jesterx7769
GTA V was great. Started the story which seemed decent but I grow tired of the GTA games very quickly as I don't like driving. So yeah...

Played "To the Moon" yesterday. An indy narrative title. It's quite interesting and gives a special and somewhat psychological perspective to life. If you don't like narrative though, don't bother. The 'gaming' is limited and serves to be a little immersive. It's strange that, though you basically just control the movement it makes for a stronger experience.

tjb000
I second the South Park: The Stick of Truth love.

I had it pre-ordered on Steam and pre-loaded it so I could play immediately on release at 11:00 pm (central time, US) last night. I was a little skeptical due to Ubisoft's review embargo but I was sure I was going to like it either way.

Thankfully, the game is awesome and the reviews so far have been very good.

If you have the PC version, right click and your character will fart. Yes, the game has plenty of fart jokes. The game is hilarious if you enjoy South Park's humor, which I of course do. Mix that with fairly basic RPG elements and you got yourself The Stick of Truth.

The first main quest took me about 2 and a half hours to complete. I do a lot of exploring and looting though so that might not be realistic for some other gamers. I don't think the length of the game will be much of a factor if you're worried it will be a short game.

South Park: The Stick of Truth is fantastic and I'm being super cereal you guys!
