California Pro Wrestling "CALIFORNIA DREAM'N" - '77 C Verse

Recommended Posts

I love writing Brick's promos seriously I wish I could just do an entire show of Brick Fantana promos and Mark Krogan beat downs. Brick is so easy to write for its a good thing I decided early on I wanted Gone Hollywood a tag team or we might not even have Mark Krogan and it would be Brick Fantana nailing the Pierce and Preston's mom or who knows what :)

Hey, gives you a post-Magnum feud for Gone Hollywood. I'd love to hear Brick tell Preston and Pierce about Mrs. Holt taking the Sex Panther Plunge!

BEEK my apologizes, you're going to get your bonus "notch" we try to refrain from the word "mark" under any circumstances in CPW I'm sure you understand as to why.

I want a bonus Krogan now.

Isn't that the currency they use in Sweden during this time? :D

And you realize I'm not the least bit fussed about the points.

Personally, anyone can call for a draw and if they don't then that's their fault. Include it in the total standings. It's a bit like better black or red (win/loss) at roulette. If it comes up green, the house wins.

MLT, you'll get all those bonus bits when you remember to predict on a card.

"SINS OF THE FATHER"

<br>

<br>

Gorksi Ballroom - Los Angeles, California

<br>

<br>

May 21st, 1977

<br>

California Pro Wrestling is coming to you live from the Gorski Ballroom in Los Angeles, California on May 21st 1977. We have SEVEN matches scheduled for the night including a CPW Championship match and of course the much talked about, first EVER Bullrope match between Mark “The Lariat” Krogan and Jason Jackson. All of this plus so much more.

<br>

http://i96.photobucket.com/albums/l192/oats21_2006/CPW/HeidiBrooks1977.jpghttp://i96.photobucket.com/albums/l192/oats21_2006/CPW/VS.jpghttp://i96.photobucket.com/albums/l192/oats21_2006/CPW/AnneBaker.jpg

Heidi Brooks vs. Anne Baker

Heidi’s long standing rival Anne Baker has made her way back to California Pro Wrestling and in her debut appearance made Heidi very aware she’s came back. Although Anne Baker played a role in Heidi losing her tag team match with Dixie its important to note that Heidi’s two match losing streak in the longest of this decade. Is this the decline of Heidi Brooks? Or will she show the world she’s still the top female athlete in the world?

<br>

http://i96.photobucket.com/albums/l192/oats21_2006/CPW/Extraordinario.jpghttp://i96.photobucket.com/albums/l192/oats21_2006/CPW/VS.jpghttp://i96.photobucket.com/albums/l192/oats21_2006/CPW/Vigilante1977.jpg

Extraordinario vs. Vigilante

Extraordinario is one of the most talked about luchadors in the world and he’s already been involved in a CPW title match in his short stay so far in California Pro Wrestling. He takes on the notoriously none masked rule breaker Vigilante which may become more than a battle of masked men it may be a battle of good versus bad. Will Extraordinario overcome whats sure to be an onslaught of rule obstructions? Or will Vigilante begin to cheat his way to championship?

<br>

http://i96.photobucket.com/albums/l192/oats21_2006/CPW/LuisMontero1977.jpghttp://i96.photobucket.com/albums/l192/oats21_2006/CPW/VS.jpghttp://i96.photobucket.com/albums/l192/oats21_2006/CPW/DangerWillRoberts_alt.jpg

Luis Montero vs. “Danger” Will Roberts

Some say Luis Montero is the best all around athlete in the world of professional wrestling. He’s going up against who many are saying is the most exciting, gutsy wrestler in the world. “Danger” Will Roberts has taken every challenge California Pro Wrestling has thrown at him but this may be his biggest challenge yet. Can Luis Montero continue to use his athletic gifts to rack up victories? Can Will Roberts adjust from facing monsters and maniacs to mat technicians?

<br>

http://i96.photobucket.com/albums/l192/oats21_2006/CPW/ChaseAllen_alt.jpghttp://i96.photobucket.com/albums/l192/oats21_2006/CPW/DirkBonell_alt.jpghttp://i96.photobucket.com/albums/l192/oats21_2006/CPW/VS.jpghttp://i96.photobucket.com/albums/l192/oats21_2006/CPW/CueballClayton.jpghttp://i96.photobucket.com/albums/l192/oats21_2006/CPW/PercyDevine.jpg

Party Animals vs. Cueball Clayton & “No Mercy” Percy Devine

The Party Animals promised to keep up their winning ways until they were granted a tag team title shot and that promise isn’t going to come easy. Their going up against the renowned street fighter Percy Devine and something of a protégé of his. Can this upstart street fighting tag team crash the Party Animals party? Or will the Party Animals show us a bit less Party and a bit more Animal?

<br>

http://i96.photobucket.com/albums/l192/oats21_2006/CPW/BrickFantana.jpghttp://i96.photobucket.com/albums/l192/oats21_2006/CPW/VS.jpghttp://i96.photobucket.com/albums/l192/oats21_2006/CPW/MagnumJohnson.jpg

Brick Fantana vs. Magnum Johnson

Last show Brick Fantana and Mike Kinsey looked like they were finally going to end their rivalry with Magnum Johnson in a bad way. Thanks to some assistance from an unknown man Magnum was able to fight another day. That day is at “Sins of the Father”. Magnum Johnson now has a chance to finally beat the respect into Gone Hollywood that he deserves. With Mike Kinsey around will themysterious man have Magnum’s back for a second show? Or will Gone Hollywood finish what they started last show?

<br>

http://i96.photobucket.com/albums/l192/oats21_2006/CPW/CPW_Heavy.jpg

http://i96.photobucket.com/albums/l192/oats21_2006/CPW/PrestonHolt1977.jpghttp://i96.photobucket.com/albums/l192/oats21_2006/CPW/VS.jpghttp://i96.photobucket.com/albums/l192/oats21_2006/CPW/KentaMatsamura1977.jpg

Preston Holt vs. Kenta Matsumara

After the horrific events that unfolded last show Preston Holt refuses to hide, he refuses to stop defending his CPW Championship. Preston continues to be the most defending champion in the history of this company as he will defend against the prideful warrior himself Kenta Matsumara. Can Preston Holt put any problems with Mark Krogan and his relationship with the Jacksons out of his mind one more time? Or will Kenta’s violent offense be too much for the almost surely distracted Champion to overcome?

<br>

http://i96.photobucket.com/albums/l192/oats21_2006/CPW/Bullrope.jpg

http://i96.photobucket.com/albums/l192/oats21_2006/CPW/jasonjackson-1.jpghttp://i96.photobucket.com/albums/l192/oats21_2006/CPW/VS.jpghttp://i96.photobucket.com/albums/l192/oats21_2006/CPW/MarkKrogan_alt.jpg

Jason Jackson vs. Mark Krogan

Although California Professional Wrestling would like nothing more than to distance itself from Mr. Krogan we believe in revenge, we believe in justice. In short we believe in the very principles that the state of Texas was founded upon. Jason Jackson has gladly accepted Mark “The Lariat” Krogan’s Bullrope match challenge. If its blood that needs to be spilled in order to make peace then California Pro Wrestling says let their be peace. This is going to be a violent, bloody, maybe even disfiguring affair so we recommend this show for mature adults only.

Heidi Brooks vs. Anne Baker

- Lil Mistress Annie cheats to win to help shunt the fans from asking, "Uh dude, why doesn't Heidi like just totally take back that belt from the Diamond?" "Dunno brah, why isn't Diamond defending her title?" "Dude, I dunno, do ya think Baker will bring cupcakes, I got the munchies for some reason." "Brah, me too!"

Extraordinario vs. Vigilante

- Extraordinario has payed extraordinary dues while Vigilante is not El Vigilanto... yet.

Luis Montero vs. "Danger" Will Roberts

- The hardest one to call... so I won't. Ref tosses the match out when... Crusher and Han turn up, Crushes crushes... Luis in a swerve~! While Han uses his Kung-fu Kickery on Will.

The Party Animals vs. "No Mercy" Percy Devine & Cueball Clayton

- I'm sorry, an established tag team, a street fighter and a name that just screams JOBBER. Cueball Clayton? Enjoy looking up at those lights. Party's over for you baldie.

Brick Fantana vs. Magnum Johnson

- He really needs a win or he might as well become the Shaft of Gone Hollywood. Instead I think Strong Starr comes down in support to even the odds.

Preston Holt vs. Kenta Matsumara - CPW Championship match

- I can't see Holt losing to another face, I especially can't see him losing to a... guy who went to a double KO last time out. What, you thought I was going to say something else?

Jason Jackson vs. Mark "The Lariat" Krogan - Texas Bullrope Match

- Krogan better win. If this was a California Surfboard match I might give the edge to Jackson, but there is no way Krogan should lose to the honourable, young upstart in his signature match.

Heidi Brooks vs. Anne Baker

It seems like the majority is going for Brooks. I will go with Beeker and say she cheats to win. Somehow. Cupcakes are optional.

Extraordinario vs. Vigilante

This might be the only time I ever pick someone in the '77 mod because of the '10 C-Verse. Let me explain: Extraordinario Jr. is AWESOME-O. Obviously his father/original inspiration was a beast, too.

Luis Montero vs. "Danger" Will Roberts

It was a tough choice, but Luis Montero is an awesome character in the '77 mod. Even with a name like Danger, Roberts doesn't impress me that much.

The Party Animals vs. "No Mercy" Percy Devine & Cueball Clayton

Experience over...absolutely nothing.

Brick Fantana vs. Magnum Johnson

I hate Brick Fantana.

Preston Holt vs. Kenta Matsumara - CPW Championship match

Can he really lose to a face? Absolutely not! You'll have to rip the CPW title out of his cold, dead hands with a...heel.

Jason Jackson vs. Mark "The Lariat" Krogan - Texas Bullrope Match

This is The Lariat's classic. If he loses, the state of Texas should disown him, burn his house down, and make him move to Cali for good. He then would become Mark "The Sea Lion" Krogan.

"SINS OF THE FATHER"

<br>

<br>

Gorksi Ballroom - Los Angeles, California

<br>

<br>

May 21st, 1977

<br>

[We cut into the Gorski Ballroom for the second time this month. The fans are standing and screaming as Buddy Hollar welcomes us from ringside to another California Pro Wrestling show.]

<br>

http://i96.photobucket.com/albums/l192/oats21_2006/CPW/BuddyHollar.jpg

Buddy: (screaming over the loud, excited audience) Hello wrestling fans and WELCOME to California Pro Wrestling “Sins of the Father”. Obviously the big story going into this show is Jason Jackson vs. Mark “The Lariat” Krogan in CPW’s first EVER Bullrope match. So much is riding on this match. Edmond Jackson is not here tonight, he has a serious facial laceration that will prevent him from being at the show. As much as he wants to be the doctors won’t release him from the hospital. On top of our great main event we have Preston Holt once again defending his CPW Championship against the prideful Japanese warrior himself Kenta Matsumara. All this and SO much more as we close out the month of May. Lets head to the ring.

<br>

Heidi Brooks vs. Anne Baker

Heidi and Anne come to the center of the ring talking trash as the bell rings. Anne hauls off and SLAPS Heidi. The fans let out an audible “ohhh” before Heidi comes back with a BIG forearm. They roar with cheers as this one gets underway. Heidi controls the early going pretty easily until Anne gets in a rake to the eyes. Anne takes over using every dirty trick she knows to keep the more skilled Heidi from winning. Finally Heidi makes a comeback, she DARES Anne to come at her. Anne charges, Heidi ducks, jumps up and THROWS Anne across the ring with a flying headscissors. The fans are standing but before Heidi can cover here comes Melissa Monroe and Tina Sapphire. Tina distracts the referee while Melissa DROPS Heidi throat first across the ropes. Heidi falls to the mat and Monroe pulls an out of it Anne on top. The fans boo as Anne Baker steals a victory from her hated rival.

Winner via Pinfall @ 11:48 Anne Baker

MATCH RATING: C

[As Heidi rolls out of the ring with help clutching her throat Melissa Monroe and Tina Sapphire join her in the ring. The fans are booing as Buddy Hollar steps into the ring to interview these three ladies.]

http://i96.photobucket.com/albums/l192/oats21_2006/CPW/BuddyHollar.jpg

Buddy: Anne I would welcome you back and ask you to make yourself back at home in the CPW but you apparently have already made yourself at home tonight, picking up where you left off stealing victories from Heidi Brooks…

http://i96.photobucket.com/albums/l192/oats21_2006/CPW/AnneBaker.jpg

Anne: Buddy everybody knows that when it comes to handling Heidi Brooks there are no two better girls to do it than Missy here and myself of course. I think the fellas will tell you that seeing the same lady over and over again gets kinda boring. Dixie and Heidi wanna be gal pals well we figured we would form our own little club…..you can call I the Bad Girls Club….we even got jackets..

[With that the three ladies walk off leaving to a chorus of boos. Buddy Hollar seems confused by gets ready for the next match none the less.]

Extraordinario vs. Vigilante

Extraordinario avoids a few early cheap shots by Vigilante. He takes control of the match with his high flying and really gets the crowd going for him. As he gets control of the match he takes time out to show off the to the crowd doing a back flip and some other crazy moves that have nothing to do with wrestling. Vigilante is down and Extraordinario even tries a pinfall with one foot and his arms raised to the air. After a few more minutes of playing to the crowd and trying to be funny he finishes him off with his newly invented move the ‘rana.

Winner via Pinfall @ 11:27 Extraordinario

Party Animals vs. Cueball Clayton & “No Mercy” Percy Devine

The Party Animals are in complete control nearly the entire time. Percy Devine does get in some offense against the smaller Chase Allen but it doesn’t take much for Chase to hit two fast dropkicks and tag in Dirk. The fans are standing as Dirk hits the spinebuster on Percy and Chase flies from the second rope with that Senten bomb to complete the Party Crasher.

Winners via Pinfall @ 10:14 The Party Animals

MATCH RATING:C

[buddy Hollar steps back into the ring with an exhausted Chase Allen and Dirk Bonell. The fans are cheering them on as Buddy starts to interview the former number one contenders.]

http://i96.photobucket.com/albums/l192/oats21_2006/CPW/BuddyHollar.jpg

Buddy: Wrestling fans you have seen it with your own eyes. This tag team duo from the dorms of the east coast to the rings of the west coast you guys have proven to be the real deal. Two very impressive tag team victories in as many shows, Chase Allen whats going through you’re head at the moment?

http://i96.photobucket.com/albums/l192/oats21_2006/CPW/ChaseAllen.jpg

Chase Allen: Buddy I think the same thing that’s going through my head is going through all these fans heads. How long does it take to get a title shot? We beat the former tag team champions last week? We finished these guys off in just over ten minutes this week and yet I still haven’t heard anything. So you know what? We’re going to keep on keeping on if ya know what I mean. At some point CPW management will give us that rematch and when they do we’re going to become the next CPW Tag Team Champi-

<br>

[Chase cuts himself off at the sight of Yakuza Riot stepping out from behind the curtain. Their once again dressed in suits with their CPW tag team championships thrown over their shoulders. The team is slowly walking up to the ring. Dirk steps up from behind the more talkative Chase and all four of these men are staring each other down while Buddy Hollar is literally caught in the middle.]

Buddy: Speak of the devils, the Yakuza Riot, the CPW tag team champions, maybe the most dominant tag team in our company’s history. You guys heard the challenge, you heard what Chase said this week, and you came out last week to let yourselves be shown. What about it? The Party Animals want it, these fans want it, how about you guys put the tag team titles on the line one more time?

http://i96.photobucket.com/albums/l192/oats21_2006/CPW/KenzoIsozaki2.jpghttp://i96.photobucket.com/albums/l192/oats21_2006/CPW/ShigetaTakahashi1.jpg

[The Yakuza Riot stare at Buddy Hollar who has thrust the microphone in their face before glancing at Chase Allen and Dirk Bonell who are waiting just like the arena fans for an answer. Shigeta and Kenzo look at each other where a slight smirk is visible on the champion’s faces. They turn their backs and start to leave the ring much to the shock of the Party Animals and Buddy Hollar.]

Buddy: I guess you guys will have to wait for your answer, I apologize I truly thought they had come out here to at the very least respond one way or another to your challenge…

http://i96.photobucket.com/albums/l192/oats21_2006/CPW/ChaseAllen.jpghttp://i96.photobucket.com/albums/l192/oats21_2006/CPW/DirkBonell.jpghttp://i96.photobucket.com/albums/l192/oats21_2006/CPW/KenzoIsozaki2.jpghttp://i96.photobucket.com/albums/l192/oats21_2006/CPW/ShigetaTakahashi1.jpg

[Chase looks at Dirk before both men step past Buddy Hollar turning around the Yakuza Riot asking them for answers. The Yakuza Riot spin around and drop the Party Animals with DOUBLE Yakuza Kicks. The fans are booing as the Party Animals drop to the mat. Buddy Hollar gets out of the way as the Yakuza Riot let those smirks crawl a bit bigger on their faces before adjusting their suits and leaving the ring and the Party Animals behind them.]

Luis Montero vs. “Danger” Will Roberts

Luis tries to keep this one on the mat but Will Roberts starts taking to the air more and more. Will with a cross body block, a drop kick and even an amazing looking sling shot splash that missed. Montero’s experience become s too much for Will after he missed the high risk sling shot. Montero NAILS the Jumping Piledriver and Roberts is sprawled out on the mat. Just before the cover comes Ricky Han out accusing to the referee that Montero used a weapon and stashed it outside the ring. The fans are booing as Montero refutes the claim. The referee steps through the ropes looking around the outside for the weapon. Han stomps real hard on the apron with his movie star cowboy boots on as if he was dropping something into the boots. Luis points at Ricky Han, he gets a movie star smile in return before being BLASTED with that loaded boot. Han leaves flashing that movie star smile while Will Roberts comes to not knowing what happened. He crawls over to Montero for the three count while the referee is just as confused as Will Roberts on what happened.

Winner via Pinfall @ 14:34 “Danger” Will Roberts

MATCH RATING: C

[The fans being booing as Brick Fantana and “Hollywood” Mike Kinsey come out dressed in their usual robes and designer sunglasses. Buddy Hollar steps into the ring to greet Gone Hollywood as they step through the ropes and into the ring.]

Buddy: Gone Hollywood thank you for joining me at this time, last week you were in the middle of what at this point has become a regular beating of Magnum Johnson when out of nowhere some large man came out from the back and literally body slammed you two out of the ring…

http://i96.photobucket.com/albums/l192/oats21_2006/CPW/BrickFantana.jpghttp://i96.photobucket.com/albums/l192/oats21_2006/CPW/HollywoodMikeKinsey.jpg

Brick: Buddy if I wanted a retard with a funny accent who dresses funny interviewing me I’d go to New York State’s penitentiary and be interviewed by Magnum Johnson’s dad. So hit the showers kid, although you strike me as the funny type so on second thought you stay outta Hollywood’s showers…..

[buddy Hollar leaves the ring in disgust after being degraded by a chuckling Brick Fantana and “Hollywood” Mike Kinsey. The fans are booing them but Brick continues to run everyone down in his typical sleazy fashion.]

Brick: Now to answer the man who knew too little’s question I don’t know WHO that guy with the Brick Fantana mustache was but let me just go on record saying that ALL Brick Fantana look alike contest winners PLEASE stay out of the ring. This ring is not where the Brick Fantana fan club holds its meetings, that’s Tuesday’s at “Hollywood” Mike’s house. So whoever the guy with the split ends and the Fantana stache is…if he’s thinking about getting in this ring again? I’m telling you don’t because I will show you the difference between being a look alike Fantana and being the REAL Brick Fantana. So Magnum Johnson I’m going to send Hollywood to the back, you keep my rabid fan back there and lets me and you do this, as you would say…….like homeboys.

[With that Brick tosses the mic back to a seething Buddy Hollar while Hollywood Mike makes a big production about going to the back. The fans are booing him the entire way. ]

Brick Fantana vs. Magnum Johnson

Magnum comes out like a house on fire. He’s sending Brick to the mat with rights and lefts, everytime Brick pops up he’s ran over again by the furious Magnum Johnson. Things are so fast paced to start and the crowd is loving it. Brick rolls out of the ring to clutch his swelling face but Magnum follows him out there delivering MORE punishment. It seems to be a lure by Brick who low blows Magnum and takes control of the match. The fast action we saw earlier has been slowed down as Brick methodically beats on Magnum all the way shouting and berating him. Brick calls for the Sex Panther Plunge (second rope suplex). Magnum shoves him off looking for a hard left hand he calls “Street Justice”, Brick drops down low blowing Magnum and again setting him on the second rope. The fans are booing as Brick again tries to lift the big New Yorker off the second rope with a suplex. Magnum holds onto the ropes, Brick breaks the hold looking to soften him up with a few punches. Magnum BLOCKS the right hand by Brick and LAYS him out with a Street Justice left hook. Brick falls to the mat and the fans are standing in the Gorski Ballroom.

Buddy: Brick Fantana threw everything he had at Magnum Johnson tonight but at the end of the day Magnum showed him and he showed everybody else that one on one Brick’s not going to beat him, what a move, what a match wrestling fans…

Magnum shakes the cobwebs free dropping down from the ropes and right before he covers sure enough here comes “Hollywood” Mike from behind the curtain. Magnum knows that as long as Mike is out here he’s not going to get the pinfall. He starts to step through the ropes to take care of “Hollywood” when out from the back comes his mystery partner one more time. He turns Mike around and BLASTS him with a right, another right and one more sends Hollywood to the arena floor. The fans are ROARING.

Before Magnum can turn around Brick juts BOTH of his arms into the groin of Magnum from behind. “OHHHH” is all that can be heard as Magnum doubles over, Brick wraps him up with a schoolboy and steals the quick pinfall. The mystery partner rolls into the ring but Brick has already slithered out of the ring, staggering to the back with a hurting “Hollywood” Mike Kinsey.

Winner via Pinfall @ 12:17 Brick Fantana

MATCH RATING: C

Buddy: Somehow, some way these Hollywood sleazebags steal yet another victory. With the odds being even its only a matter of time before this stops happening. I don’t think we’re going to have to worry about interference in our next match up. Preston Holt defends his CPW Championship against the man who literally knocked RJ Danzig out of California Pro Wrestling last week this should be a classic…

Preston Holt vs. Kenta Matsumara

The two men shake hands before the match but once the bell rings they look like anything but friends. Kenta is just chopping Preston down to size with flesh ratting chops and hard, powerful strikes with his forearm and knees. Preston isn’t to be outdone he’s working over Kenta’s back looking to soften him up for the Silver Shooter (sharp shooter) and possibly take some of his power away. Preston tries a double leg takedown but Kenta grabs hold of him and starts lifting knees into the gut of Preston. The fans are wincing at the sight of the champion locked in these bone breaking knees to the ribs. FINALLY Preston pulls him down to the mat looking to lock on the Silver Shooter, Kenta easily fights out of it spearing him to the ground, driving his ribs into the mat.

Buddy: Wrestling fans Preston Holt is hurt, he’s never faced a man that was so good at his strikes and so powerful with them and I think he may have some broken ribs, we could be on the verge of history here….

Kenta mercilessly drops a knee to the ribs of Preston letting out more gasps from the crowd. Kenta picks Preston up and whips him VIOLENTLY into the corner. The back of Preston’s ribs meet the turnbuckle in a whiplash like way. Preston slumps down in the corner and Kenta picks him up putting him on the top rope. The fans are standing, Preston is slumped over and Kenta climbs to the second rope. He’s going to back suplex Preston from the top rope and become the CPW Champion. Kenta puts his head under Preston’s arm and begins to lift off. NO, Preston holds on with everything he has left, Kenta tries again and Preston wraps himself around Kenta and FLIES off hitting a SECOND ROPE GOLD RUSH (Russian legsweep) the fans are standing, applauding and cheering wildly. Kenta’s down, Preston’s down and the referee gets to a count of nine before finally Preston dives on top of Kenta for the pinfall. The Gorksi Ballroom erupts with cheers.

Winner via Pinfall @ 20:15 and Still CPW Champion Preston Holt

MATCH RATING: B

[After the match Preston struggles to his feet as he’s handed the CPW Championship. He thrusts it into the air to a loud reaction from the L.A fans. Just then Kenta comes to, making his way to his feet. Kenta is staring at the hurt champion, Preston is staring back unsure of whats going to happen next.]

Buddy: What a match up between two of the very best in California Pro Wrestling, THAT was wrestling, THAT is how you do business. Mark Krogan would be wise to pay a little bit more attention on how to do things the right way…

[Kenta walks over to Preston, the fans cheering has died down as he stares at Preston and then at the championship. After a few more tense moments the two embrace in a handshake and then a hug. The fans are ROARING with approval for these two athletes and their mutual respect. Just as the cheering is starting to die down it turns into something else, commotion of some sorts. Here comes Mark Krogan through the stands. The fans are trying to get to him, security is fighting them off. He’s got that bullrope already strapped to his wrist.]

Buddy: Mark Krogan is here and I’d like to think he’s just early for his match but I know this man too well. He’s bit off more than he can chew if he thinks he’s taking out these two warriors on a night like this…

http://i96.photobucket.com/albums/l192/oats21_2006/CPW/KentaMatsamura1977.jpghttp://i96.photobucket.com/albums/l192/oats21_2006/CPW/MarkKrogan_alt.jpg

[Kenta wastes no time leaving the ring and Preston behind. He’s crawling INTO the stands and walking up the long arena steps trying to catch Mark Krogan the fans are nearly rioting from excitement as Kenta meets Krogan on the stares. Kenta BLASTS the chest of Krogan, connecting with his leather vest and sending a flesh ratting smacking sound throughout the arena. Krogan SPITS his oozing tobacco in Kenta’s face and DRILLS him in the face with that cowbell on the bullrope. Kenta falls DOWN the arena steps and the fans are awkwardly silent. Krogan steps over a fallen Kenta at the bottom of the arena steps and into the ring.]

Buddy: WHAT IS GOING ON? He just shoved Kenta down concrete arena steps after spitting that disgusting chew in his face, now its just Preston and this terror of a human being in the ring…

http://i96.photobucket.com/albums/l192/oats21_2006/CPW/MarkKrogan_alt.jpghttp://i96.photobucket.com/albums/l192/oats21_2006/CPW/PrestonHolt1977.jpg

[Preston drops the championship and tells Krogan to “come on”. Krogan lets a tobacco stained smile start to creep across his rough, Texan face. Finally after what feels like forever for these arena fans the two CHARGE at one another. Security JUMPS into the ring and stops them from getting at one another at the last possible moment. The fans are FURIOUS and might be giving security more hate than they gave Mark Krogan earlier. Both men are trying to fight away from security but there is too many of them on this night. Preston Holt is being escorted away while he continues to point and jaw at a now laughing Mark Krogan.]

Buddy: I have to say its about time. Its about time that we got enough security in here to stop Mark Krogan from doing whatever he wants. The problem is that this night isn’t over wrestling fans in some ways its just begun. Lets get ready for whats sure to be one of the most memorable matches in the history of our sport…

http://i96.photobucket.com/albums/l192/oats21_2006/CPW/jasonjackson-1.jpghttp://i96.photobucket.com/albums/l192/oats21_2006/CPW/VS.jpghttp://i96.photobucket.com/albums/l192/oats21_2006/CPW/MarkKrogan_alt.jpg

Jason Jackson vs. Mark Krogan

As the referee starts to make sure that bull rope is secured on Krogan’s list here comes Jason Jackson charging down from the back. The fans EXPLODE with cheers, Krogan turns to see Jason Jackson DROPKICKING him into the turnbuckle. Jason is just drilling Krogan with hard rights. The fans are rabidly cheering on Jason while Krogan tries to shake off the surprise assault. FINALLY the referee backs him away and the fans send shockwaves of boos throughout the arena as Jason gets secured to the bull rope. Krogan takes back control BLASTING Jason with that cowbell in the middle of the rope. Krogan has competed in so many of these matches he really lays into Jason with that cowbell. Jason fights him off but Krogan’s able to use that rope so many different ways. He whips Jason with it, he uses the cowbell and at one point even ties Jason’s hands with the rope stomping him in the head. The fans are falling silent as Krogan controls the first half of this match as he shows Jason just how many different ways the rope can be used as a weapon.

Buddy: Sometimes in life we let our emotions guide us and in the case of 20 year old Jason Jackson in the ring with a man that’s been in this business as long as Jason’s been alive and a man that practically INVENTED this match it just doesn’t look good for Edmond Jackson’s only son….

Krogan has literally used the rope to WHIP Jason Jackson into the corner. Jason presses his back against the corner to protect his almost bleeding back from more whipping. Krogan lets a smirk crawl across his face as if this is exactly where he wanted Jason. Krogan with the LARIAT on Jason Jackson in the corner, NO, Jason Jackson dived out of the way. Krogan hit the turnbuckle front first and HARD. The fans come alive cheering on Jason Jackson. Krogan turns with cowbell in hand and Jackson DROPKICKS it into Krogan’s face. Krogan falls back into the corner. Jason stands on the second rope and starts RAINING cowbell shots down onto the exposed face of Mark Krogan as if there were punches. Krogan is GUSHING blood out of his forehead. Jackson now uses the rope to wrap it around Krogan PUSHING him UP and OVER the top rope. Jason Jackson is literally HANGING Mark Krogan and these near riot like audience is LOVING it. Krogan furiously kicking his feet and the referee finally makes Jason break the hold but the damage has been done. Krogan is on the outside, he can’t breath and he’s literally pooling blood from his busted face.

Buddy: JASON JACKSON HAS FIVE MONTHS OF PENT UP HATRED AND ITS LITERALLY POURING OUT OF THIS YOUNG MAN RIGHT BEFORE OUR EYES!!!!!

Jason Jackson has undone the top turnbuckle exposing nothing but the metal bolt as Krogan heads back into the ring. Krogan still attached by bull rope to Jason Jackson is a bloody mess. Jason flashes a youthful smile before the two men charge at one another in the middle of the ring. Jason’s emotions got the best of him as Krogan’s the harder hitter. It doesn’t take long for Krogan’s hard hits to take their toll on Jason Jackson. The fans are booing but Jason backs up into the exposed corner, Krogan PULLS on the rope forcing Jason out of the corner, he LUNGES and connects with a LARIAT ON JASON JACKSON, but NO, again Jackson has ducked that Lariat and Krogan hits the exposed corner chest first. The fans gasp as you can see the instant bruise forming on Krogan’s sternum. Jason comes charging in and NAILS Krogan with a cow bell to his already busted head. Krogan is slumped in the corner and Jason Jackson touches three turnbuckles. The only turnbuckle he has left to touch is the one that Mark Krogan is slumped over on. The only one left is that exposed turnbuckle.

Buddy: Jason Jackson is about to beat Mark Krogan at his own damn game, listen to this crowd, look at Jason Jackson he’s bruised, he’s beaten but he’s about to go down in the history books. Just touch that last corner Jason….

The fans are standing, their SCREAMING for Jason to touch his hand to the final corner. Jason charges in with a BIG SPLASH on Mark Krogan in the corner looking to touch his hand to the final corner as he leaps over the burly Texan. Krogan however staggers up clipping Jason’s feet in mid air. Jason CRASHES face first into that exposed turnbuckle. Jason goes down immediately clutching his face still not having touched the final turnbuckle. You can see the blood pouring out of his hands as he holds onto his face. Despite the unimaginable pain Jason staggers back to his feet. He’s POURING blood from above his eyes. Krogan is still dripping blood down his body, Jason’s long brown hair is already matted in blood. The fans are standing, Jason stretches out to touch the final corner, Krogan with a LARIAT!!!!! This time it connects turning Jason Jackson inside out as he crashes back to the mat. The fans are booing, while Krogan is bloody and downed, Jason is bloody and downed. The CPW mat has been turned from glistening white to blood red. Krogan is up and he angrily slaps the exposed turnbuckle, he drags Jason’s bloody, unconscious body with him as he makes the rounds to all four turnbuckle. This excited crowd has turned in the Gorski Ball Room. The referee tries to raise Krogan’s hand but he jerks it away threatening the referee not to touch him.

Winner via Corner Touches @ 21:15 Mark “The Lariat” Krogan

MATCH RATING: B+

Buddy: What a match it was everything we expected and more but at the end of the day Jason Jackson may have counted Mark Krogan out too soon. You can’t count a man like that out until about five hours after your hand has been raised and you’re safely in the next city…

http://i96.photobucket.com/albums/l192/oats21_2006/CPW/MarkKrogan.jpghttp://i96.photobucket.com/albums/l192/oats21_2006/CPW/jasonjackson-1.jpg

After jerking away from the referee he stares down at the fallen Jason Jackson. The referee has just un attached his unconscious body from the bull rope. Krogan SHOVES the referee aside and mounts the out cold Jason Jackson. The fans are booing as Krogan clutches the cowbell and starts DRIVING it into the already open and gushing head wound of Jason Jackson. Security are fighting back this rioting ball room as Krogan looks to end this kids career before it truly gets started. Just when things look bad here comes Preston Holt CHARGING down from the back. He slides into the ring and Krogan quickly rolls out of it.

Buddy: Preston Holt is here and look at Krogan get out of the ring, he’s not so tough when he’s beating on someone that isn’t unconscious. Look at Krogan back away from this fight….literally.

http://i96.photobucket.com/albums/l192/oats21_2006/CPW/PrestonHolt1977.jpghttp://i96.photobucket.com/albums/l192/oats21_2006/CPW/MarkKrogan.jpghttp://i96.photobucket.com/albums/l192/oats21_2006/CPW/JimmyPower.jpg

The boos have turned to cheers as Holt is livid. He’s pointing at Krogan, shouting, CHALLENGING him to step back into the ring. Krogan continues to back up when the cheers get even LOUDER. Here comes Jimmy Power is out from behind the entrance curtain. Holt is in the ring, Power is in the aisle and Krogan seems trapped between these two men. With that Krogan lets that wide Texas smile crawl across his rough and bloodied face before leaving THROUGH the crowd. Security is literally being over taken behind him as he heads out of the arena while Preston and Jimmy check on Jason Jackson.

SEGMENT RATING: A

Buddy: Jimmy Power is out and what a show of solidarity between Preston and Jimmy. Krogan was scared enough of these two men that he would literally risk himself in that rioting crowd than deal with one of those men. Jason Jackson lost this match up but he bloodied the Lariat, he has shown us Mark Krogan is human and can be beat. Join us for our next show until then wrestling fans I’m Buddy Hollar saying good night and Gold Bless…

12 predictions this time around I think that’s a new record for most predictions. I really appreciate all the support everybody gives this thing. From the predictions to the feedback to the nominations. But enough with the thank yous its time to figure out who won this weeks prediction contest amiright?

MLT 5/7 – Very nicely done MLT see what some perseverance and consistency will get you?

Bolthino 4/7 –Better this week but you have some improving to do sir. I’ll be handing you out homework for study

Bluestar 5/7 – First time predicting and thank you for following its nice to know even if people aren’t posting their keeping up. That being said nicely done man a 5/7 you’re first time out. And really the ones you lost could have gone either way story wise so nicely done good sir I hope to see more of you in the future.

Arwink – 7/7 – AMAZING dude its been a long time since anyone went perfect but you just did it and I threw in some tough curveballs like the Magnum match and the Montero match. Nicely done sir you are THE man this round.

Jingo – 5/7 – So like Arwink you got the “hard” wins with Fantana and Will Roberts but then you dropped the opening two. Either way you continue to kill it and depending on what Codey does you may move into third place. In fact Bolthino should just study your predictions.

London – 4/7 – You had some prediction rust there sir but I have faith that you can get back to more successful predictions. All and all not bad.

Codey – 6/7 – You’re like a machine man, I tried to throw some curveballs this round but you killed it in the predictions this time out. Nicely done and you’re going to just miss moving into second place in the standings.

Beeker – 5/7 – Here I was just wondering if you had somehow missed this round, but here ya are. Pretty good predictions. I think maybe I got to draw happy and it made you think another one was coming up. Way to take a risk though Beek that’s what its all about right? Wait that’s NOT what its all about? Somebody gave me some bad information

Ajcrible – 4/7 - I was FINALLY able to trip you up a bit. I stumble so much in your dynasty which you guys should check out if you haven’t already. Each week you just kill me with perfects and almost perfects I’m glad I was able to knock you down to size a bit this week. I may have to start thinking “what would aj predict?” and do the opposite. I’m kidding…………..or am I?

Midnightnick – 5/7 – Welcome to the predictions. I’ve been keeping an eye on your WIW dynasty which if you guys haven’t checked it out you should. At any rate thank you for predicting and I hope to see predicting more.

Toeachtheirown – 4/7 – The fun thing is its not like everyone is predicting the same matches for win and loss everyone has their own ideas on how things might play out. I will say that you might wind up being the ONLY guy to predict Jackson winning the bull rope match. Even if it wasn’t a bullrope match Jason Jackson is not going to go over Mark Krogan before Edmond or Preston do well not yet atleast, not this early in the feud.

TLLK3 – 5/7 - You have an INCREDIBLY long name so I decided this is your new nick name on the boards cool? Cool! Pretty strong predicting you seem to be in line with most everybody’s predictions. The Magnum Johnson match seems to be hanging everyone up and honestly if I was predicting I would have thought he would go over too. Although to be fair when he does go over it needs to be more than just a “random” show even if this said random show had a bullrope match on it.
