Merci Oldschool. It's actually a joy and a privilege to put together.

I've noticed that some of the links aren't working in the upcoming show section. Silly rabbit. Hopefully that will be rectified below:

World Championship Wrestling Saturday Week 1 September 1989

June 13th, 2004: Ring of Honor Wrestling preview

CCW: Second City Strike! (March 1, 2010)

Apologies for my staffs continued lack of professionalism. They have all been sacked...and thrown in a river.

EDIT: I'm toying with the idea of starting a new thread with the full intact first edition, unbroken by comments etc. This would be a thread that I would ask you not to post in. Kinda like the hall of records. Then I could add each full edition to that thread after all the smaller sections have been posted in this thread. Is that a worthwhile thing to do? Don't want to seem like I'm up my own arse or anything!

Sounds like a great idea to me. Hopefully people will remember not to post in there if you do decide to make the addition.

I actually was toying with suggesting that you create a separate thread just for the Times posts, so I obviously approved when I saw you'd done just that.

Also, I think your unprofessional staff forgot to fix the broken show preview links in the other thread. I'd say that they should be punished, but they're already at the bottom of the river, so I think the damage is done. :D

Due to overwhelming response, Issue two of The TEW Times will be even bigger! With so much information to digest, TEW Times will be available from news stands early. Look for it to appear from sunday onwards.

I'm loving this thread, it's a great recap of what's going on on the board and extremely entertaining to boot! I will say, though, that I'm a little disappointed that superstar wrestler Johnny Heizenger has yet to make an appearance :p

Great interview right there. I have never really been a fan of real world dynasties because I find a lot of the decision making to be "unrealistic". Now, whilst having Arnie in a dynasty goes hand in hand with what I am saying, it sounds like a really good addition.

Great work Olympia and BoomKing!

Currently bashing out the questions for the Jerilynn Stone interview. It's largely a question of getting the wording right and going back over what Wallbanger's written to make sure I don't make any mistakes on the continuity. Should be on their way to him by the end of tonight, and then it's a matter of when he gets back to me as to when the interview goes up (BoomKing, I'll send the complete interview to you for posting, to maintain continuity)

Ah-nuld! If you had have told me that someone was running a diary with Arnold in it, I would have thought it was a joke dynasty... but that interview actually convinced me that Schwarzy was legit

I agree! Im a big supporter of Olympia's Diary... And, was a little bit off w/ Schwatzeneggar storyline... But that interview really helped get him over in my book...

Great job guys!

I agree with Crayon and Oldschool too about it sounding like a joke diary - even though its mine. And you are correct about the unreal events that can take place in these. I try very hard to stay true to form and keep things as real as possible - but not follow the real life events as they actually happened. Someone else mentioned somewhere about "why would they read a diary when the events are exactly the same as real life or every other diary?" I knew this would certainally take me off the beaten path and should provide some fun events (and LOTS of chatter on the internet wrestling boards!). everyone is free to call me out any time I step out of line and do something that "hurts the integrity of the sport" -- just glad Boomking's interview helped show my heart is in the right place here. :D

keep in mind the April Supercard is the minor event that is leading up to Super Clash. It should help set up some of the big payoff matches. It was intended to further the feuds into the Major event where some will have the blow-off match while others will continue to grow to the next event....Battle by the Bay.

I can't wait to see what other goodies BoomKing has in store for us in this edition!

Hulk Hogan vs Ric Flair could have been a match for the ages, if they had ever fought over the WWF title. Steve Austin vs Goldberg could have headlined any venue in the northern hemisphere. Bret Hart vs Kurt Angle, Undertaker vs Sting, Bruiser Brody vs Cactus Jack, Dynamite Kid vs Rey Mysterio, the list is no doubt endless. There are several reasons why these matches never happened, but the common thread running through them all is timing. Time, as they say, stands still for no man. </strong><br id=""><br id=""><strong id="">But what if time wasn't a barrier? What if it was possible to turn back the clocks and see Bret take on Angle in the prime of both mens careers? What if we had the technology? Ladies and Gentlemen, I submit for your approval, the first ever cross generation interview, using the latest in artificial intelligence technology to bring together former head booker of the WWWF Pat Patterson, and current RoH head booker known simply as The Final Countdown.<br id=""><br id="">In the first of this fascinating series, we asked The Final Countdown if he could return to any point in time and interview anybody, who would it be, and he chose Patterson. RoH make no secret about the fact that they see themselves as a true alternative to the "Sports Entertainment" that fills out most of the airwaves. As such, Countdown doesn't see his product influenced by The WWE, or WWF "Attitude" or NWO era WCW. No, Countdown traces his roots further back, to a time where Wrestling ability was as prized as microphone skills and a sculpted body. A time where promoters liked to keep things simple, and fueds were contested over who was the better wrestler, not shampoo commercials and dead girlfriends.<br id=""><br id="">The Final Countdown sees his inspiration in The WWWF, and their head booker Pat Patterson. And I'll tell you what King Kong Bundy is huge, some say he sent Andre packing and he's a young guy as well.</em></div></div><div id=""></div></div></div><div style="position: relative;"><img style="float: left;" src="http://greydogsoftware.com/forum/image.php?u=13268&dateline=1308972934" alt="Speaker" height="113px" width="113px"><img style="position: absolute; left: 103px; top: 50px;" src="http://fictionplus.interwebz.co.nz/images/layout/sbpointer/sb-pointer-ffffff-l.png" height="20px" width="22px"><div style="font-size: 16px; line-height: normal; font-family: 'Times New Roman'; position: relative; background: none repeat scroll 0% 0% rgb(255, 255, 255); margin: 0pt 0pt 10px 123px; padding: 7px; border-radius: 7px 7px 7px 7px; width: 213px; top: 0px;"><div style="" id=""><div id=""><em id="">If you could bring in anyone from the wrestling world to compete against any member of the WWWF roster, what “dream match” would you sign?</em></div></div><div id=""></div></div></div><div style="margin-bottom: 10px; position: relative;" align="right"><div style="float: right;"><img style="float: right;" src="http://www.celebrities-galore.com/celebrities-photos/je-pat-patterson.jpg" alt="Speaker" height="113px" width="113px"><img style="position: absolute; right: 103px; top: 53px;" src="http://fictionplus.interwebz.co.nz/images/layout/sbpointer/sb-pointer-ffffff-r.png" height="20px" width="22px"></div><div style="font-size: 16px; line-height: normal; font-family: 'Times New Roman'; position: relative; text-align: left; background: none repeat scroll 0% 0% rgb(255, 255, 255); margin: 0pt 123px 10px 0pt; padding: 7px; border-radius: 7px 7px 7px 7px; width: 290px; top: 0px;"><div style="" id=""><div id=""><em id="">Well since Mr. Wonderful is our World Champ, I'd love to see him go aganst the other world Champs... I would just like to say that it would be a sin if La Autoridad (Fleisch) doesn't get an interview at some stage, given how ingrained he is with the kayfabe side of his diary. (I would also say TecDax for the Touhou diary, but that's really just for my personal interest and is probably pushing things too far :p)

Pat Patterson in pushing Rick Martel shock!

Nice work there Oldschool! (And Final Countdown of course!)

Thanks! (And thanks to Oldschool as well, of course.) I thought this would be a really interesting point in Oldschool's diary for something like this, with Bruno's retirement and all, which is why I offered to do it. I had a lot of fun with it.

Is it bad that reading that interview, I was picturing the questions in Tyrion Lannister's voice?

:D

"One last question, Mr. Patterson: can you point me in the direction of the nearest brothel?"
