The C-Verse Rerender Project: Part Deux

Recommended Posts

I love both of those renders... especially The Enygma. For such a major player, he only had one re-render to choose from, and that limits your options on how to portray him.

Um.. I know this is asking a lot, but do you have/did you save an unmasked version of your Enygma?

I'd use it personally in UPSW Diary. I can't speak for everyone, but I unmask Enygma early on when I'm trying to keep USPW at National in personal games, as an unmasking helps boost lagging match ratings/skyrockets his momentum.

If you don't, and others are interested, I can "piece together" an unmasked alt using FaceGen Modeller 3.5 (Free) and using J-Silvers' (?) unmasked Enygma as a guide.

I don't have an unmasked version. I think you'll find with a lot of masked renders, there's not a lot of work done on the face underneath. Also I had to smush the nose all the way in, remove the ears, lower the cheek and brow (and chin) depths to make it fit into the mask.

Started watching the old Attitude RAWS on the Network and I forgot how awesome 1997 was. Fired up the 97 C Verse and realized that the Perfect Storm (Seth and Stuart) have pretty awful renders. I tried searching to see if they had updated renders and couldn't find any. Am I missing anything that anyone else knows about?

I don't think they have been re rendered yet hopefully someone will.

True, but due to the style it was in, there was far more to work with (the eyes, mouth and chin in particular) and I could fudge the rest with another render that had a similar structure (Shipshirt's Joss Thompson).

It isn't perfect, but I believe it does the original render justice:

That's a pretty good reproduction. It looks close to what he looked like under the mask. What you were seeing as work with the eyes and mouth was just the expression. Here, I took off the mask and adjusted some stuff around (like I said, I had removed the ears, pushed the nose and cheeks way in until he looked freakish) to make him look somewhat human.

Also, here's a Cameron Jones:

Is there a re-render for Nathan Coleman from the cornellverse anywhere? I just hired a regen with his picture and don't want to use the default one.

Shinsuke made one.

Yeah, definitely no guarantees, but I am going to give it a shot when I feel up to it. I was in a car crash a couple of days ago and I just got home from the hospital, so it might not be anytime really soon. :p I know it's not the same as a re-render, but at least it will give people some options to change things up from time to time. Thanks for the suggestion, pete. Now, if someone happens to re-render him before I get started on that, that would be just swell. :D If not, I can always do it again when and if he gets a new render. It's a pretty easy thing to change with a simple mask like that.

I've seen an VENOM alt with different colours. I think it was in the TEW08 alt thread. Could have been pink or purple.

I'll probably try to find any generic mask to use instead of the default one. The M3 renders are not my cup of tea.
