LMAO! My shows have always been three hours long, but normally there are a lot less promos and a lot more random match-ups. This show there was only one match that didn't have some kind of story or intended progression to it... which means I currently have 10 storylines running :o

See, this is what happens when I have a few weeks off creative writing.... but I promise that things will get better... don't leave me...

PREDICTION RESULTS:

Given that I had to change things (twice ) I have awarded half a point to anyone who guessed for the first woman at all :o

I have also split the predictions. I know there are a few folks who don't go in for my guessing games so now there is a 'Pure Predictions' table, and the winner of that will also get to ask a question & I'll think of some kind of prize :D

REGULAR LEAGUE

1st - MichiganHero - 7/10

2nd= - Kitarzu - 6/10

2nd= - TheEnforcer - 6/10

4th - Tiberious4 - 4.5/10

5th= - Psycho Sam - 4/10 (assuming you meant Security X)

5th= - Super Nova - 4/10 (gave you Scott Hart. Even though he was a last minute trade and not actually part of the predictions he did make an appearance)

7th - jhd1 - 3.5/10

PURE PREDICTIONS LEAGUE

1st= - Emark - 2/3

1st= - Midnightnick - 2/3

1st= - Zergon - 2/3

So congratulations to MichiganHero for edging an early lead in the Regular League. As the month goes on more matches will be available to predict on so I'm sure the PP League will get more competitive as things move forward ;)

Thanks for reading and predicting folks :D

Battle of the Bands was even better than I had imagined, but ZomCHI! Superb. What goes on in that mind of yours!? :D

And I thought my Q-Pro stuff was messed up :p

But yeah MJ, as has been said, some of your GAW creations and booking are simply inspired. At this rate, we'll need to put together a separate ThunderVerse alt add-onto to go with the last release.

Every ThunderVerse game needs ZomCHI :D

GAW NEWS

05/02/2013

Well there has certainly been a lot going on given it was GAW's first show of the year, here is what we can report so far.

http://imageshack.us/a/img546/5173/gawbanner.jpg

NEWS ON GARY WOODS & MORE

http://imageshack.us/a/img593/200/garywoods.jpghttp://img13.imageshack.us/img13/7786/kennyforeman.jpg

We can now confirm that Gary Woods is in a stable condition and awake for the first time since his accident on Tuesday. His friend and tag partner Kenny Foreman rushed to his bed-side when he heard. Early reports reckon that Woods' back is completely shot and, if he ever does walk again it is unlikely that he will be able to do so without a stick but, of course, guys have come back from this before. Only time will tell really. Everyone here at Wrestling in Review wishes Gary Woods a speedy recovery.

In related news Kenny Foreman has officially requested to be released from both his PWI & GAW contracts on the grounds that, right now, his head just isn't in the right place. GAW booker Jack America agreed but Kenny asked to go out there one last time and help get over how dangerous The Devastator are by being 'stretchered out' before leaving the GAW lockeroom for the last time, at least for a while. Jack America apparently made it clear to Foreman that he would always have a home in GAW when he is ready.

http://imageshack.us/a/img546/5173/gawbanner.jpg

TALENT TRADES

http://imageshack.us/a/img528/7494/theamericanstandard.jpghttp://imageshack.us/a/img69/3474/nickhart.jpghttp://imageshack.us/a/img29/8026/scotthart.jpg

The first GAW show of the year saw three talent trades take place.

The American Standard
was traded from HCG for PsychoTIC for one show. Apparently Jerry King was keen to take advantage of the legend's winner status and catch up on the WWWE days while Standard was the obvious choice for a last minute partner for Foreman.

Nick Hart
was traded from PWI for Ali Ababwa & Thomas Beaumont for 5 shows. It seems he'll be around for the whole of the January tour, good call by Jack America there.

Scott Hart
was traded from PWI for Kay Pasa & Yukon Jacques for 5 shows. Nice, the Harts are going to be together in GAW for the whole tour.

GAW NEWS

06/02/2013

Some more news from Golden Age Wrestling

http://imageshack.us/a/img546/5173/gawbanner.jpg

LIBERTY BELLE SIDELINED

http://imageshack.us/a/img715/1848/libertybelle.jpg

After landing on her face trying to 'shooting star' bump Helen Filino's clothesline at GAW's first show of the tour Liberty Belle was in obvious pain after the match. We can now confirm that she has a Bruised Eye-Socket and will be out of active competition until the end of the month.

Jack America was pretty annoyed with Belle, telling her she needs to learn to walk before she can run and tore a strip off Belle's mentor Angelique as well, although our source reported that he later talked to the pair more calmly. It is thought that, with Gary Woods injury, Jack is just trying to look out for for his 'youngsters'. Apparently Angelique was overheard telling Filino,
'...it's so frustrating, she hit it every time in training...'

http://imageshack.us/a/img546/5173/gawbanner.jpg

CHEMISTRY

It should be noted that several folks showed chemistry, or a lack there of, together on GAW's first show of the tour.

Cousin Ezra & Colonel Jimmy-Jack
play off each other well when Jimmy-Jack is managing Ezra. Their comedy timing is
Awesome
!

Jamie Vann
went out there for the first time with
Dirk Robertson
acting as her manager and it just didn't seem to click,
Very Poor
showing.

Jack America
, however does have
Pretty Good
chemistry managing
Liberty Belle
, no surprise really.

And, in the biggest shock of the show for some, after their fantastic chemistry facing each other last tour
Eric Lothario & Richie Santana Jr
just don't click at all as tag partners, to the point where Lothario missed two tags because we was jawing with the crowd. Just
Awful
!

Of the lot I would say that Lothario & Santana making terrible tag partners is the only thing that could cause problems going forward for Jack America. After Generation II's promo I pretty much figured they would be the tag champs by the end of the tour, but now, well, you can't put tag titles on a team that disjointed... can you?

Shame about the chemistry notes, particular with Santana and Lothario as I know you had some plans for those two. It will be interesting to see how you go about keeping them going with such a penalty every match. Perhaps a stable with Teddy Windham? ;)

Also, having come a miserable last in the prediction contest, you'd think this whole ThunderVerse business was completely new to me :D

GOLDEN AGE WRESTLING COMES TO AUSTIN, TEXAS

FEBRUARY 11TH 2012

TORI GETS SWAG INTO ANOTHER ARGUMENT

http://imageshack.us/a/img507/1429/lilswagalt5.jpghttp://i754.photobucket.com/albums/xx181/jhdTEW/AWF%20Diary/Cards/VS.jpghttp://imageshack.us/a/img404/5845/fjkendall.jpg

LATINO SWAG vs F.J. KENDALL

Swag's 'Hoochi Momma' Tori has been at it again, this time rubbing F.J. Kendall up the wrong way by openly mocking Kendall's failure to secure the GAW All-American Title at last week's show. Swag decided to 'defend his chikita's honour' when Kendall demanded an apology and the pair will face off this show.

INTERGENDER TAG MATCH

http://imageshack.us/a/img15/8978/bruisercassidyalt.jpghttp://imageshack.us/a/img716/302/angeliquealt.jpghttp://i754.photobucket.com/albums/xx181/jhdTEW/AWF%20Diary/Cards/VS.jpghttp://img84.imageshack.us/img84/3440/kaypasa.jpghttp://imageshack.us/a/img826/6844/mthelena.jpg

HOSS & ANGELIQUE

vs

KAY PASA & MT. HELENA

Last week after the non-title match between GAW Ladies Champion Anqelique & Mt. Helena Kay Pasa had to jump into the ring to stop HOSS from chokeslamming Helena to the mat. Angelique made the challenge: an Intergender Tag Match. With both HOSS & Kay Pasa and Angelique & Helena pretty evenly matched this one really could go either way!

LOTTERY MATCH FOR DIRK ROBERTSON

http://imageshack.us/a/img213/7107/dirkrobertsonalt.jpghttp://i754.photobucket.com/albums/xx181/jhdTEW/AWF%20Diary/Cards/VS.jpghttp://img854.imageshack.us/img854/2843/blairbrunzell.jpg

'Simply Fabulous'
DIRK ROBERTSON © vs BLAIR BRUNZELL

Things went well for Robertson in his match with F.J. Kendall for the title last week, but this week he face's one half of the Flying Bullets, Blair Brunzell. Brunzell is still angry at his loss last week and will be keen to regain his momentum by claiming the GAW All-American Title for his own. Will Robertson be able to overcome not only Brunzell's new-found fire, but also Brunzell's skills and experience? After all, Brunzell has been the GAW All-American Champion before...

GENERATION II vs MYSTERY OPPONENTS

http://imageshack.us/a/img5/5092/ericlothario.jpghttp://imageshack.us/a/img217/9969/richiesantanajr.jpghttp://i754.photobucket.com/albums/xx181/jhdTEW/AWF%20Diary/Cards/VS.jpghttp://imageshack.us/a/img16/4185/blankbackground.jpghttp://imageshack.us/a/img16/4185/blankbackground.jpg

GENERATION II

(Eric Lothario & Richie Santana Jr)

vs

?????

(????? & ?????)

Last week The Devastators told Lothario & Santana that their next hurdle on the way to a title match will be a team of great skill. Generation II did well last week against the massive team of The Woodcutters, but how will they fare against skillful, and completely unknown, opponents?

STU WANTS REVENGE

http://imageshack.us/a/img689/955/alligatorstu.jpghttp://i754.photobucket.com/albums/xx181/jhdTEW/AWF%20Diary/Cards/VS.jpghttp://imageshack.us/a/img11/4463/vuduchief.jpg

ALLIGATOR STU vs THE VUDU CHIEF

During the Festive Season Tour the Vudu Chief somehow managed to turn Alligator Stu into one of his zombie minions. Beaumont P.I. however managed to break the spell, but now Stu is out for revenge! But with The Chief's new minion ZomCHI never far away will Stu be able to overcome the odds?

BATTLE OF THE BANDS ROUND#5

http://imageshack.us/a/img823/4728/jimmyjackalt2.jpghttp://img823.imageshack.us/img823/3569/tracyfloydalt3.jpghttp://imageshack.us/a/img35/839/earlraytravisalt2.jpg

THE BOOTLEG BAND

(Colonel Jimmy Jack, Cousin Floyd & Cousin Travis)

vs

THE ROCK & WRESTLE EXPERIENCE

(KISS, Johnny Axe & The Guitar Phreak)

With R&W Experience ahead by three rounds in the Battle of the Bands The Bootleg Band will have to pull out all the stops to draw level in this Six Man Tag Elimination Match; with each elimination giving the scoring Band an extra point the country boys could even draw level with the metal-heads!

MAIN EVENT TAG GRUDGE MATCH

http://img5.imageshack.us/img5/1898/shaykinsellaalt2.jpghttp://img19.imageshack.us/img19/7961/brettmassey.jpghttp://i754.photobucket.com/albums/xx181/jhdTEW/AWF%20Diary/Cards/VS.jpghttp://imageshack.us/a/img69/3474/nickhart.jpghttp://imageshack.us/a/img29/8026/scotthart.jpg

SHAY KINSELLA & BRETT MASSEY

vs

THE BRITISH HART FOUNDATION

(Nick & Scott Hart)

With the reputation of all four men GAW Management did indeed decide to make this match the main event for this week's show. With Kinsella on fire, the Harts virtually unparallelled in ring skills (not to mention tag team experience) and the in ring return of one of the greatest wrestlers to ever grace the WWWE ring, Brett Massey, this looks to be one hell of a match-up!

PLUS

http://img849.imageshack.us/img849/9866/rudysingle.jpg

*RUDY SINGLE WILL BE LIVE VIA SATELITE*

http://imageshack.us/a/img545/2345/susievanzantalt4.jpghttp://imageshack.us/a/img694/7317/serenitybarreraalt.jpg

*A BATTLE OF THE BANDS BONUS ROUND*

*AND A WHOLE HOST MORE MATCHES STILL TO BE CONFIRMED!!*

I'll be in AUSTIN, TEXAS on THURSDAY 11TH FEBRUARY for Golden Age Wrestling's second show in Austin, will you?

FJ KENDALL vs LATINO SWAG

Pretty much a coin flip to me so I´m just going with Kendall since he´s higher on the pecking order according to roster review.

KAY PASA & MT. HELENA vs HOSS & ANGELIQUE

Pasa is former champ while Hoss is just a midcard guy plus with Angelique getting win over Helena in last show this would even things out a little bit.

BLAIR BRUNZELL vs DIRK ROBERTSON ©

Brunzell lost to Swag in last show and I doubt he would win a title right after that.

GENERATION II vs ??? & ??? (a well known pairing on trade, points for correct guesses)

Sorry, I won´t be guessing those mystery guys since I haven´t yet downloaded this mod to TEW2013 but since it´s talent trade, I go with Generation II

ALLIGATOR STU vs VUDU CHIEF

I would give Stu a DQ win here so that he stay strong but don´t get the revenge that he´s looking for just yet.

KISS, JOHNNY AXE & GUITAR PHREAK vs COLONEL JIMMY JACK, COUSIN FLOYD & COUSIN TRAVIS

I just like them more.

NICK & SCOTT HART vs SHAY KINSELLA & BRETT MASSEY

With last match ending on draw at least one of the Hart´s will likely challenge Kinsella for the title again and since they are unlikely to win that match, I would give them a win here.

GOLDEN AGE WRESTLING COMES TO AUSTIN

NIGHT#2

http://img546.imageshack.us/img546/5173/gawbanner.jpg

HELD AT LA ZONA ROSA, AUSTIN, TEXAS

IN FRONT OF A 1000 STRONG SELL-OUT CROWD

FEBRUARY 11TH 2012

http://imageshack.us/a/img543/7173/cherokeewarrior.jpghttp://i754.photobucket.com/albums/xx181/jhdTEW/AWF%20Diary/Cards/VS.jpghttp://imageshack.us/a/img443/6868/diegomonterrey.jpg

'The Cherokee Warrior' DANNY RED-CLOUD vs DIEGO MONTERREY

*This was pretty much a 'star beats jobber' affair*

*Whilst Diego put on an impressive display of highflying...*

*...Red-Cloud successfully grounded him again him at every turn...*

*...and eventually hit the Indian Death Drop for the pinfall victory*

DANNY RED-CLOUD wins via pinfall (5:41)

Reviewers Thoughts:
Well, what a way to kick off the show! Both men put on a stellar display and the crowd really got into it! Always good to see Diego Monterrey in the GAW ring, the second generation Mexican never fails to put on a good match!

GRADE: C-

http://imageshack.us/a/img507/1429/lilswagalt5.jpghttp://i754.photobucket.com/albums/xx181/jhdTEW/AWF%20Diary/Cards/VS.jpghttp://imageshack.us/a/img404/5845/fjkendall.jpg

LATINO SWAG w\ Tori Esparza vs F.J. KENDALL

*Well Kendall certainly brought the fight to Swag!*

*The veteran had Swag on the ropes a few times...*

*...and even Esparza grabbing his leg while running the ropes didn't phase him*

*In fact, Kendall looked to have the match won, having locked in the Kendallock
(Sharpshooter)
on Swag...*

*...but then Dirk Robertson made his way to ringside, pointing at Kendall and laughing with Jamie Vann*

*Kendall broke the hold and began jawing with Robertson over the top rope*

*The ref broke the two men up but while he tried to get Robertson to leave ringside Latino Swag pulled out a small rubber cosh and hit Kendall in the head with it before throwing it to Esparza*

*As the ref turned back to the action Swag hit the Latino Lunge
(Spear)
on a dazed Kendall for the pin*

LATINO SWAG wins via pinfall (6:49)

Reviewers Thoughts:
Not a bad match by any means, and after the quality of the first match maybe not a bad idea to calm things down again. And it seems that maybe Robertson isn't done with Kendall just yet.

RAPADA GETS SPRUNG

The big screen came to life and showed Terry Rapada in chains and an orange boilersuit, breaking rocks with a hammer while Detective Marshall stood by on guard, mocking Rapada. However Beaumont P.I. & Vito sneeked passed the camera, Beaumont turning to camera, looking over the top of his sunglasses & winking, before the pair sneeked up behind Marshall and knocked him out cold with a double karate chop to the neck. The pair then freed Rapada and the three men ran off, the camera zooming in on the downed Detective Marshall as the segment ended.

Reviewers Thoughts:
Not bad, the crowd found it entertaining

HELEN FILINO vs VICKI

*A match pretty much dominated by Filino*

*However Vicki did make several spirited comebacks...*

*...before falling prey to the Claw From Hell
(Facial Claw/Legsweep Combo)
*

HELEN FILINO wins via pinfall (6:14)

Reviewers Thoughts:
Now, I know I haven't written much, but that is because this was a pretty standard flowing match with nothing out of the ordinary. However, the talent the two ladies showed was amazing, every spot was perfect, every move looked legit. I would go as far as to say that it was, without a doubt, the best women's match anywhere in the world so far this year!

THE ROCK & WRESTLE EXPERIENCE

(KISS, Johnny Axe & The Guitar Phreak w\Security X & That Guy)

vs

THE BOOTLEG BAND

(Colonel Jimmy Jack, Cousin Floyd & Cousin Travis w\Cousin Ezra & Cousin July)

*The eliminations came thick & fast in this one*

*First of all Floyd took out Johnny Axe with the Redneck-Breaker
(Double Backbreaker)
...*

*...but was then taken down himself when The Guitar Pheak spun him around and quickly delivered the Guitar Drop
(Cutter)
for the second elimination*

*Soon after Cousin Travis fell prey to KISS' Hotter than Hell
(Edgucator)
*

*Colonel Jimmy managed to hold his own for a while with Guitar Phreak and hit the Double Wide Dive
(Second Rope Crossbody)
to even up the odds*

*However with KISS a lot fresher than the Colonel the Rock & Wrestle Experience looked to have the match won...*

*...but Jimmy Jack reversed the Hotter than Hell into a backslide pin at the last second!*

*KISS struggled but couldn't kick out in time and Colonel Jimmy won the match for The Bootleg Band!*

THE BOOTLEG BAND win via pinfall (9:06)

Reviewers Thoughts:
Well, the crowd were into it, but the quality of the wrestling was just terrible! That leaves the Battle of the Band scores at 6 to The Rock & Wrestle Experience and 3 to The Bootleg Band. The country band really need to pull out the stops to catch up next week or country music will be officially dead in GAW!

GRADE: E+

RUDY SINGLE LIVE VIA SATELLITE

The big screen came to life again and the crowd cheered, because it showed Rudy Single, sat in an armchair in a plush living room. He 'noticed the camera' for the first time and welcomed the GAW crowd to his home. He then got up and began showing them around, MTV Cribs style. The crowd lapped it up. As Rudy wrapped up the quick tour back in the living room the picture became fuzzy. A tech guy came and looked at the camera while Rudy apologised for the technical difficulties and promised he'd be back soon. Just before the screen shut off a figure could be seen flashing past the window behind Single

Reviewers Thoughts:
WOW! The crowd loved it and, to be honest, I think Rudy did too! He really got into it and if that
is
his house then playing TVs Barker, Secret Agent really paid out for the guy!

PSYCHOTIC vs 'The Iron Sheik' ALI ABABWA

*An even match here*

*Ababwa brought the fight to PsychoTIC...*

*...but the RoaL Winner brought it straight back!*

*After a particularly impactfull Missile Dropkick downed the Sheik PsychoTIC jumped on Ababwa, put his feet on the second rope and the ref, unaware, counted the pin*

*PsychoTIC quickly rolled out of the ring, laughing manicly as he walked up the ramp to the back, leaving Ababwa furious in the ring*

PSYCHOTIC wins via pinfall (5:47)

Reviewers Thoughts:
Not a bad match, a solid midcard affair. These two men are no strangers to each other though, having feuded in the WWWE and worked together many times on the indy scene, & personally I think they could have done better

THE ROUND THAT NEVER WAS

The Bootleg Band Rhythm Section were introduced for the next match, Round#6 of the Battle of the Bands, seeing Cousin Ezra & Cousin July face off against Security X & That Guy but as the Rock & Wrestle Crew's music hit the pair charged to the ring and destroyed the Rhythm Section (well, X did most of it), before walking to the back, That Guy proclaiming loudly 'Man, am I ever gonna get a match? These hillbilly guys are pussies!'. While the medics looked over Ezra & July Colonel Jimmy Jack & Susie Van Zant rushed to the ring to check on their bandmates. While Ezra eventually got to his feet July had to be stretchered away but gave the crowd a thumbs up as he went, getting a cheer.

Reviewers Thoughts:
Possibley a good thing we didn't get to see that match, it could have been awful! And, I'll be honest, the way Security X went at Ezra & July it wouldn't shock me if July heading off on a stretcher was legit. It worked, but it was probably a bit much for the family crowd

HOSS & ANGELIQUE

vs

KAY PASA & MT. HELENA

*At first I assumed that the rule of man vs man, woman vs woman was in play...*

*...but it turned out that Kay Pasa just didn't want to hit a woman*

*Once HOSS was in the ring with Mt. Helena that was all she wrote...*

*...with HOSS quickly hitting the End of the World
(Spinning Sitout Powerbomb)
on Helena and scoring the pin*

HOSS & ANGELIQUE win via pinfall (5:39)

Reviewers Thoughts:
The man vs man & woman vs woman sections of this match really were pretty good, but once it was HOSS & Mt. Helena in there you could tell HOSS wasn't happy about the situation and that was the lightest hit End of the World I've ever seen! Normally he drills people into the mat with it, but on Helena, the pair barely bounced off the mat! And, as a side note, Kay Pasa & Mt. Helena as a team? Terrible! But, as I say, if considered two seperate matches that came together at the end, not bad.

LOTTERY MATCH for the GAW ALL-AMERICAN TITLE

DIRK ROBERTSON © w\Jamie Vann vs BLAIR BRUNZELL

*This was a very competitive match-up!*

*Brunzell is showing so much fire recently and he certainly brought it to Robertson*

*It took all of the champion's most cunning tactics to keep the challenger at bay*

*But after Brunzell hit his patented Missile Dropkick on Robertson it looked to be all over*

*However, much like last week Jamie Vann got up on the apron and distracted Brunzell*

*The ref came over to get Vann off the apron and Robertson once again sprang up and delivered a quick roll-up to his opponent*

*However, the ref was still busy with Jamie and didn't see the pin attempt*

*At this point F.J. Kendall, angry that Robertson cost him his match with Latino Swag earlier in the night, stormed to the ring and began stomping on Robertson*

*Unfortunately Parker Grossman chose that point to turn around and was forced to disqualify Brunzell for outside interference.*

DIRK ROBERTSON wins via DQ to retain the GAW ALL-AMERICAN TITLE (7:51)

Reviewers Thoughts:
Well, Blair Brunzell seems to have a new lease on life with his tag partner out injured and no mistake! To be honest, I actually thought we were going to get a new champion for a while there!

HUMILIATION & BRAWL

After the match Kendall grabbed a mic and apologised to Brunzell for costing him the match, but he just couldn't stand to see Robertson get away with it a second time. Brunzell accepted the apology and the men shook hands. Then Kendall asked the crowd if they wanted to see Robertson taken down a peg or two? And they did. So Brunzell held Robertson while Kendall chopped him, then they swapped places. However before Brunzell could deliver his own chop Latino Swag hit the ring and all four men began to brawl. The faces got the better of the heels though and posed for the crowd as Robertson & Swag went to the back being tended to by their respective ladies.

Reviewers Thoughts:
Nice segment, but I do get the feeling this ain't over yet.

OPPONENTS REVEALED

Generation II made their way to the ring for their match, then The Devastators came out on to the stage. They bigged up the team they had brought in, and told the second generation wrestlers that their bid for the GAW American Tag Team Titles ends tonight, the only option would be if the pair left the arena DEAD OR ALIVE! With that, The Devastators went back through the curtain, the familiar sounds of Bon Jovi hit the PA and Gen II's opponents made their entrance:

GENERATION II

(Eric Lothario & Richie Santana Jr)

vs

DEAD OR ALIVE

(Cloud James & Sean Riley)

*Gen II actually took the early advantage...*

*...but their teamwork, seemingly even sloppier than last week, was their undoing*

*Not only did Lothario miss a hot-tag by hanging out with some ladies in the front row...*

*...but he also managed to knock Santana off the top rope at a critical moment...*

*...leaving Cloud James the easy task of picking up Santana, tagging in Riley and hitting the Dead Then
(Spinebuster/Lariat Combo)
for the win*

*After the match Lothario got into the ring, looked down at his partner, shook his head and walked to the back on his own*

DEAD OR ALIVE win via pinfall (8:30)

Reviewers Thoughts:
Pretty sure most of that was put on for effect by Lothario & Santana, but this now means an end to their tag title hunt for sure. Aside from that, this was a really good match, Cloud James especially looked awesome out there.

*...then ZomCHI got a hold of Vicki!*

*Stu went to help but was blindsided by Vudu Chief*

*ZomCHI got Vicki into the ring and the Chief, ZomCHI and the screaming, protesting Vicki disappeared in a cloud of smoke*

*With Vudu Chief not answering the ten count Alligator Stu awoke to find himself the winner of the match, but down one sister!*

ALLIGATOR STU wins via countout (6:18)

BATTLE OF THE BANDS BONUS ROUND

Ford Memphis got into the ring and introduced first the
'hot bass chick'
Serenity and then the
'girl with the voice of an angel if it was raised in Kentucky'
Susie Van Zant. He then announced that the Bonus Round was a Dance-Off!

He allowed Serenity to go first and her dancing was anything by serene! She flailed around like she was in a mosh pit and headbanged her way through her minutesworth of The Demons' only hit record, 'The Devil Be In You'.

Then it was Susie's turn. The sounds of Billy Ray Cirus poured out of the PA while Van Zant went through a solo line-dancing number, Memphis even joined in to cheers from the crowd!

He then threw the vote over to the crowd, most of which cheered for the young country star, and Memphis declared Susie Van Zant the winner, much to Serenity's disgust!

Reviewers Thoughts:
The crowd lapped this up, it was pretty much a foregone conclusion that Van Zant would win it, but Serenity put on an amusing show too and Memphis did his job to perfection, I'm not even sure him joining in was scripted, Van Zant looked shocked!

BEAT THE CHAMPS, GET A SHOT

The Devastators' music hit and the GAW American Tag Team Champions made their way to the ring. They made some wise cracks about Lothario & Santana and thanked their pals Dead or Alive for beating the snot out of them for the champs. They went on to declare that tonight, as they now definitely have no challengers for the Tour Finale show, they will face off against any team on the GAW roster, and if that team wins they will get Gen II's shot on the last night of the Austin Tour!

Reviewers Thoughts:
As always, good promo from the champs there

THE DEVASTATORS

(Juggernaut & Monstrosity)

vs

THE STREET SURVIVORS

(Duane Davies & Rick E. Waters)

*A fairly back and forth match...*

*...until the champs cut the ring in half for Duane Davies*

*From that point the ending seemed a foregone conclusion*

*But as Monstrosity got Davies on his shoulders and Juggernaut climbed to the top rope to deliver the Devastation Drop Eric Lothario ran to the ring*

*Waters obviously saw him coming because he got the ref's attention...*

*...just as Lothario hit the ropes, causing Juggernaut to land crotch first on the top!*

*Capitalising on Monstrosity's momentary confusion Davies slip off his shoulders to the mat and rolled up Monstrosity for the shocking win!*

*After the match Lothario put the boot into The Devastators, screaming something about his family name.*

*Davies went to shake Lothario's hand for the help, but Lothario walked straight past him to the back*

THE STREET SURVIVORS win via pinfall (6:34)

Reviewers Thoughts:
So the Survivors get a shot at the gold at the end of the tour, should be good. Lothario certainly didn't seem his recent cheerfull self after his loss earlier though.

THE LAW NOT DONE QUESTIONING JACK AMERICA

Sirens blared and Detective Maloney made his way to the ring. He demanded that Jack America return to the 'interogation ring' for further questioning about the charges of Crimes Against America. Jack America came out and he was pretty mad, the idea that he could be thought to have committed a crime against his country unbearable to the American patriot!

DETECTIVE MALONEY vs JACK AMERICA

*This was actually a really good match and a lot more fast paced than you would normally give Maloney credit for*

*It went back and forth before Maloney caught a break and got America set up for the Turn Off The Cameras...*

*...but Rapada (still in his orange boiler suit), Beaumont & Vito appeared on the stage*

*Maloney took out a whistle, blew it and a load of 'cops' piled into the venue*

*Maloney watched while they chased the three men around the venue, shouting out orders to his officers...*

*...but this allowed Jack America time to recover, spin Maloney around, whip him at the ropes and deliver the Freedom Slam
(Shotgun Slam)
to Maloney to get the three count*

*After the match the 'cops' swarmed the ring but, with the help of Rapada, Beaumont & Vito Jack America fought them off and made it to the back.*

JACK AMERICA wins via pinfall (10:03)

BACK TO RUDY VIA SATELLITE

The big screen came to life again to show Rudy Single once again in his own home. This time Single took the oppotunity to fill anyone who doesn't know in on the history between him and Nomad. He painted Nomad as a crazy fan who was was angry that Single never signed his autograph or something and managed to get a contract in RAWA, but it seemed that Nomad had been wandering after him for years after RAWA closed in some pathetic bid for 'revenge'.

Then a crash was heard in the other room, Single rushed out of shot, a commotion was heard and Single crashed through the glass coffee table in the centre of shot, before the mask of Nomad appeared in-front of the camera with an evil grin on his face, before the screen winked out.

Reviewers Thoughts:
Kinda saw something like this coming, but it was done well none the less! Single really did take a massive bump through that table!

SAM LONG DOES THE INTRODUCTIONS FOR THE MAIN EVENT

Sam Long delivered extended hype for the entrances of Massey & Kinsella individually and then introduced one of the greatest tag teams of the modern era, the sons of legends, Nick & Scott Hart, The British Hart Foundation!

Reviewers Thoughts:
The crowd really got into the hype for all four men, but they seem to love the Harts. Massey got a decent pop too, and so he should given this is his first match back after an over ten year absence!

SHAY KINSELLA & BRETT MASSEY

vs

THE BRITISH HART FOUNDATION

(Nick & Scott Hart)

*This was a classic match-up*

*The two teams used their significant technical skills to grapple & counter-grapple each other...*

*...until Kinsella & Massey tired of fair play and began throwing every trick they had at the Hart brothers*

*Despite their dirty tricks both Kinsella & Massey had to save the other multiple times...*

*...but finally Nick kept Massey busy on the outside while Scott locked in his third Figure Four Leglock of the match on Kinsella in the middle of the ring...*

*...leaving GAW World Heavyweight Champion Shay Kinsella no choice but to tap out*

*The heels skulked away after the match, leaving The British Hart Foundation in the ring to pose for the crowd to end the show*

THE BRITISH HART FOUNDATION win via submission (11:38)

Reviewers Thoughts:
Now that was a fitting return to action for Brett Massey even with the loss. A really good match, the technical parts of the match showing just how good Kinsella & Massey still are despite the pair both having had years out of action over the last decade, and the Hart brothers showed just why they are one of the greatest tag teams of the modern era.

OVERALL THOUGHTS

Now that was a good show right there! I would say better than every other show put out by a 'Regional' promotion thus far this year in the US! As I mentioned before, a fair bit of outside interference went on, but at least it all made sense, which is more than you can say for a lot of AWF shows these days!
