Real ones go over fake guys.

SUSIE VAN ZANT vs ANGELIQUE ©

Little bit early for a change so Angelique retains.

THE STREET SURVIVORS vs THE LOTHARIO BROTHERS

Personal preference.

RICHIE SANTANA JR & ????? vs THE DEVASTATORS (extra point for a correct guess)

Non-title so I have champs losing this one.

SCOTT HART © vs JACK AMERICA VS ALI ABABWA vs ALLIGATOR STU vs RUDY SINGLE vs TERRY RAPADA vs HOSS vs DIRK ROBERTSON vs IDRIS MWAI FONSECA vs DANNY RED-CLOUD

Many good choices here, I go with Rapada but at least half of these guys could easily win this one.

GOLDEN AGE WRESTLING presents LAST NIGHT IN NEW ENGLAND

http://img546.imageshack.us/img546/5173/gawbanner.jpg

HELD AT THE VERMONT MMA CENTRE, BURLINGTON, VERMONT

IN FRONT OF A 1838 STRONG CROWD

FEBRUARY 28TH 2012

http://imageshack.us/a/img24/496/juggernautx.jpghttp://imageshack.us/a/img571/1985/monstrosity.jpghttp://imageshack.us/a/img217/9969/richiesantanajr.jpg

THE DEVASTATORS CALL OUT RICHIE SANTANA JR

The Devastators made their way to the ring to start the show to their usual mix of cheers and booing. They grabbed a mic each and talked about respect, and how the kids coming up these days don't have any. Then they called out Richie Santana Jr, who came out on to the stage with a mic of his own. He told the veterans it has nothing to do with respect, but if The Devatators want a fight, they've got it. But he needs a tag partner and the one thing Eric Lothario did teach him is that blood is thicker than water and introduced his new tag team partner...

http://imageshack.us/a/img546/7643/angelosantana.jpg

...ANGELO SANTANA!!

Angelo walked out and the cousins high-fived before charging to the ring!

Reviewers Thoughts:
A good start to the show and no real shock there that GAW have brought in Angelo to tag with Richie really.

THE DEVASTATORS ©

(Juggernaut & Monstrosity)

vs

TEAM SANTANA

(Richie Santana Jr & Angelo Santana

*Team Santana started the match on fire!*

*They actually kept the big veterans on the back foot for the first couple of minutes...*

*...but a well timed Big Boot from Juggernaut to Angelo cut that short*

*The matched looked to be all over but just as The Devastators set Angelo up to the Devastation Drop
(Doomsday Device)
Richie got the blind tag!*

*The Devastators hit the DD on Angelo but the ref refused to count Juggernaut's cover*

*The big man got in the ref's face but legal man Richie sneeked up and quickly rolled the veteran up for the shocking victory!*

TEAM SANTANA win via pinfall (6:51)

Reviewers Thoughts:
A decent match to kick off the show, Angelo gave a good debut performance and Team Santana just beat the champs in their debut tag team match!

JAMIE VANN VS LIBERTY BELLE INTERUPTED

Jamie Vann & Liberty Belle made their way to the ring for the next match. But just as the bell was about to ring African tribal drums beat out their rhythm over the PA. Both Vann & Belle looked around confused, then a tall, athletic black woman charged to the ring...

http://imageshack.us/a/img854/7391/ukfem10.jpg

...and completely destroyed both Ladies with Big Boots before standing laughing to herself in the center of the ring. A big black man in African dress walked out onto the stage holding a mic.

http://imageshack.us/a/img607/8474/imfa.jpg

He walked to the ring then declared that he needed no introduction, but for those morons who don't know he is
Idris Mwai Fonseca
, the Legendary African Nightmare. He is here for two reasons. Reason One, to destroy nine other men and become the most powerfull GAW World Heavyweight Champion of all time! And reason two? To introduce to professional wrestling the most venerable, most beautifull, most powerfull African woman in the world,
Dana, African Warrior Princess
! He then asked Her Royal Highness to demontrate her power to the world. Dana picked up each of the downed Ladies in turn and delivered brutal Sit-Out Powerbombs to the pair. Medics rushed to the ring as IMF & Dana, African Warrior Princess, walked to the back.

Reviewers Thoughts:
WOW! A hell of a debut for Dana, African Warrior Princess given I've never heard of her before! I'll have to do some digging on TEW.com later on! IMF proves he's still got it in the promo department and poor Jamie Vann & Liberty Belle, Dana seriously drilled them both into the mat!

FJ KENDALL © vs LATINO SWAG
w/Tori Esparza

*A decent back and forth from these two*

*Tori did a decent job of distracting the ref while Swag was held in the Kendallock...*

*...but finally the ref noticed that Swag was tapping out and called for the bell*

FJ KENDALL wins via submission to retain the GAW ALL-AMERICAN TITLE (7:01)

Reviewers Thoughts:
Well, and unmemorable first title defense for Kendall, but I suppose it completely wraps up the month's four way feud.

KAY PASA DONE...

Kay Pasa came out to the ring without his usual lai around his neck. He told the crowd that Kay Pasa is done, that he just can't keep being the 'Big Cahoona' anymore and that his heart just wasn't in it any more. The crowd started up a 'Please Don't Go' chant and he smiled. He told them that he wasn't going anywhere though. He talked a little about how many wrestlers have been crippled by the legacy of the WWWE and how now it was time to see if the fans can love plain old
Peter Iaukea
. The crowd cheered. He then told the crowd that he wasn't the only one to feel this way and he would like to introduce his new tag team partner, a former hillbilly, rockstar and army sniper...

http://imageshack.us/a/img689/1894/leeearlalt6.jpg

...LEE LANDRETH!

Reviewers Thoughts:
I often forget that Kay Pasa can actually deliver a decent promo. The crowd seemed to like Landreth's turn, although a few fans started a Guitar Pheak chant so maybe it was too soon to change his gimmick just yet.

NO GIMMICK NEEDED

(Peter Iaukea & Lee Landreth)

vs

THE WOODCUTTERS

(Lumber Jack & Yukon Jacques)

*A pretty slow match really*

*Landreth was cut off from his partner for a time...*

*...until the hot tag to Iaukea came and the big Hawaiian cleared house*

*Landreth set Lumber Jack up...*

*...and the pair hit the Old School
(Spinebuster/Clothesline combo)
for the win*

NO GIMMICK NEEDED win via pinfall (6:59)

SUSIE VANN ZANT GETS READY

The big screen came to life for the first time of the night and showed Ladies Title challenger finishing lacing up her boots and putting her stetson on and pulling some sexy poses in the mirror before noticing the camera in the reflection and blowing the crowd a kiss.

BRETT MASSEY PSYCHES UP ANGELIQUE

The GAW logo flashed up on the screen then faded to show Agelique in her lockeroom with Brett Massey. Massey is returning the favour from the last few weeks and psyching Angelique up for the defense of her GAW Ladies Title that is up next. The segment ends with Angelique hyped to the max... so hyped she accidentally slapped Massey around the face! He seemed to enjoy it though!

Reviewers Thoughts:
Another standard pre-title match angle, although there might be something going on between Angelique & Brett Massey...

ANGELIQUE ©
w/Brett Massey
vs SUSIE VAN ZANT
w/Colonel Jimmy Jack

*A pretty fast paced match compared to the tag match before it*

*Van Zant gained the upper hand early on...*

*...but a thumb to the eyes cut her short*

*After a couple of pinfall attempts Angelique hit the Sex Bomb
(Corkscrew Senton)
on Van Zant before covering her with her feet on the ropes to gaurantee the win*

ANGELIQUE wins via pinfall to retain the GAW LADIES TITLE (5:49)

Reviewers Thoughts:
A very solid women's match there, the Ladies of GAW once again proving they were hired for more than their pretty faces. Given both women had back-up at ringside it was quite refreshing (but a little odd in GAW) to see neither man get involved in the action.

THE #1 DETECTIVE AGENCY

(Beaumont P.I. & Vito)

vs

'THE #1 DETECTIVE AGENCY'

('Beaumont' & 'Vito')

*'Beaumont' & 'Vito' came out first, some of the fans giving them a duelling 'You're not Beaumont!' 'You're not Vito!' chant which angered the pair...*

*...before the real Beaumont & Vito charged to the ring and the match got underway*

*The real #1DA boys tore into the fakes, not really giving them much chance of any offense*

*As the match went on 'Beaumont' lost first his false moustashe, then his wig...*

*...before Beaumont locked in the Interogation Technique
(Oxford Leglock)
and, with the two Vitos brawling on the outside, 'Beaumont' was left with no choise but to tap out*

*After the match #1DA stood in the ring and lead the crowd in a chant of 'NA-NA NAAA-NA, NA-NA NAAA-NA, HEEEYYYYYYAAAYYY, GOODBYE!' as the phonies walked up the aisle to the back*

THE #1 DETECTIVE AGENCY win via submission (7:27)

THE STREET SURVIVORS

(Duane Davies & Rick E. Waters)

vs

THE LOTHARIO BROTHERS

(Eric & Travis Lothario)

*Duane Davies & Rick E. Waters came into this match pretty fired up...*

*...and as the bigger team quickly gained the upper hand*

*Without their father at ringside The Lothario Brothers had to fend for themselves...*

*...which Travis seemed well adapted to do as he distracted the ref long enough to choke the energy out of Waters with the bottom rope*

*This gave the brothers the opening they needed and, with a few more dirty tricks, looked to have the match won*

*But Richie & Angelo Santana ran to the ring and began to attack The Lothario Brothers, followed closely by The Devastators who attacked everyone in the ring...*

*... and for the second time in a week the ref was forced to throw out a tag match involving two of these teams*

DECLARED A NO CONTEST (8:40)

Reviewers Thoughts:
Seems there is still plenty of bad blood between these four teams.

SCOTT & NICK MAKE SOME INTRODUCTIONS

The British Hart Foundation's music hit and Scott & Nick made their way to the ring. The Scott told the crowd that they were having a blast in GAW, that they loved the GAW crowd and appreciated the support they got. But now they wanted to introduce some new members of the GAW roster, all of them members of the extended Hart family. First of all, two men who have corrected their bad attitude since the last time they were in GAW after a stern talking to from family patriarchal legend Daniel Hart, The Hartstoppers...

http://imageshack.us/a/img41/9242/random9alt.jpghttp://imageshack.us/a/img195/8539/kosmosupremealt.jpg

ADAM & KYLE HART!

The two youngsters made their way ringwards to cheers from the crowd and Scott gave his protege Adam a huge hug when they finally finished high-fiving fans and got to the ring. Once the crowd died down Nick went on to introduce the newest member of the extended Hart family. According to Nick this young woman is possibley the greatest female wrestler to come out of the UK since his sister Jess and she should know because Jessica Gilmour-Hart herself trained this woman who has wrestling in her family herself... the cousin of British Hart Foundation member James Gilmour-Hart...

http://imageshack.us/a/img560/5917/ukfem13.jpg

CASSIDY GILMOUR-HART!

A young blonde came out from the back and acted shy at first, before laughing and high-fiving fans on the way to the ring. Scott began to talk about how it was great that a new generation of Harts were hitting the scene when familiar music hit and...

http://imageshack.us/a/img194/1561/hellcatalt.jpg

...HELEN FILINO...

...came out onto the stage. She declared that she wanted to try out this 'hot prospect' for herself. Scott asked Cassidy and with a loud 'You betchya Scotty!' the newest Hart accepted the challenge.

Reviewers Thoughts:
That was a pretty long segment by GAW standards, but Scott & Nick held it together well. All three of the new Harts got over really well with the crowd too, especially young Cassidy. Frustratingly she is the second woman tonight that has taken me by surprise so expect more on Cassidy Gilmour-Hart some other time! A decent opponent for Cassidy's first match in GAW too!

CASSIDY GILMOUR-HART
w/Scott, Nick, Adam & Kyle
vs HELEN FILINO

*The other four Harts stayed at ringside for the match, but promised ref Parker Grossman that they would not interfere*

*Cassidy showed some real flare in the ring for rookie, matching Filino move for move...*

*...even going through some quite complicated technical routines*

*At one point Cassidy even got the Hart-patented Figure Four locked in but the veteran Filino managed to reverse the hold, forcing Cassidy to release it or tap out herself*

*Ultimately the veteran skills of Filino won the day when she hit a surprise Claw From Hell on Cassidy to score the pinfall victory*

*After the match Filino helped Cassidy to her feet and raised the rookie's hand to cheering from the crowd*

HELEN FILINO wins via pinfall (7:50)

Reviewers Thoughts:
My word! That was an amazing match for a straight-out-of-training rookie, Jess Hart should open her own training school if this is the quality she can produce. Seriously, Cassidy could truely be the future of womens wrestling if she gets half the breaks her mentor Jessica, or indeed her cousin James did! A great addition to the extended Hart family and to the GAW roster! And a show of respect from Helen Filino, that is a pretty big thing for anyone, let alone a greenhorn. Mind you, a lot of the crowd are having trouble telling if she's meant to be a heel or a face right now.

SIX-MAN CHALLENGE

With Filino gone to the back the Harts were in the ring to help Cassidy when the music of Massey & Kinsella hit and the pair came out to the stage, mics in hand. Massey told Nick Hart that they were not done with him yet, and they feel like kicking some extra ass, so they want The Hartstoppers too! Nick laughed, and said that 3 on 2 didn't sound like Massey & Kinsella's style unless they were on the bigger team. Kinsella had to agree and introduced the pair's new 'intern'...

http://imageshack.us/a/img845/6093/robbiemartelalt.jpg

...ROBBIE MARTEL!!

Massey asked Martel about his dry-cleaning while Kinsella tried to give Martel a shopping list, before they made their way to the ring. Scott & Cassidy made their way to the back while the two teams squared up in the ring.

Another debut in Robbie Martel, Jack America does seem to have changed things up a bit!

NICK HART, ADAM HART & KYLE HART

vs

BRETT MASSEY, SHAY KINSELLA & ROBBIE MARTEL

*A surprisingly good six-man tag match*

*A lot of back and forth between the two teams*

*The match could have ended at many different moments...*

*...the most notable being when all three Harts had the Figure Four locking in on their opponents at the same time in the ring*

*However, in true Massey style, the end finally came when Brett Massey low-blowed young Adam Hart and quickly rolled him up with a handfull of tights for the pin*

BRETT MASSEY, SHAY KINSELLA & ROBBIE MARTEL win via pinfall (7:38)

Reviewers Thoughts:
A good debut match for all three newcomers there. Mind you, it probably helps having three of the best guys in the business in there with you for it! A solid performance from all involved, but Nick Hart

*Terry Rapada eliminated IMF after hitting Both Barrels at 9:21...*

*...before getting punted in the head by Dirk Robertson and quickly pinned himself*

*Then Nomad appeared on the stage and, after getting Single's attention, waved a folder in the air. The folder was obviously marked 'TOP SECRET'. The blood drained from Single's face, he jumped out of the ring and chased Nomad to the back. He never returned and was counted out at 10:12*

*And it was down to the final four*

*With champion Scott Hart having been knocked to the outside Robertson & Red-Cloud double-teamed Alligator Stu, Robertson stealing the pin from Red-Cloud after an Indian Death Drop at 11:45*

*Furious, Red-Cloud delivered a brutal Tomahawk Chop to Robertson and pinned him at 12:01*

*But Scott Hart had now recovered and brought the fight to Red-Cloud...*

*...managing to lock in the Figure Four on the Native American*

*Red-Cloud looked ready to tap but instead made it to the ropes*

*The Native American fought back, and after his third Indian Death Drop of the night Danny Red-Cloud managed to pin Scott Hart for the win!*

DANNY RED-CLOUD wins via pinfall to become the NEW GAW WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPION (14:24)

Reviewers Thoughts:
As Battle Royales go that one was pretty good! Dirk Robertson was by far the hardest working guy in the match with three eliminations, but he looked like he was struggling a little at some points. Scott Hart came out of the match looking pretty strong even though he lost the title and Danny Red-Cloud is the new GAW World Heavyweight Champion! It certainly makes sense, the guy is the most over member of the regular roster, but I means that we'll be heading into the March Tour without a compass!

GRADE: C+

OVERALL THOUGHTS

Another quality show from GAW! Admittedly not as good as Thursday's show, but it tied up some stories, continued others and started yet more. We've had several debuts, a turn and some gimmick changes too, so it seems that Jack America might be using these end-of-the-month shows to do the monthly 'roster housekeeping'. Not a bad idea really, and it certainly didn't hurt the quality of the show too much!

Great show. Love the additions, especially Martel as he is an integral part of my GWS. Also, good luck with the Santanas as they are both in my roster as well but when i tried to pair them up, i got hit with a pretty bad chemistry so my dream of the Santanas in GWS went for a toss. Hoping to see them put to good use in GAW.

GAW NEWS

01/03/2013

Here is some backstage news from GAW's last show of February:

http://imageshack.us/a/img546/5173/gawbanner.jpg

NEW LADIES IN GAW

http://imageshack.us/a/img854/7391/ukfem10.jpghttp://imageshack.us/a/img560/5917/ukfem13.jpg

Well I said I'd do some research on GAW's new Ladies, so here are their bio's from TEW.com:

DANA, AFRICAN WARRIOR PRINCESS

http://imageshack.us/a/img854/7391/ukfem10.jpg

Dana Mokoena is a female wrestler of Kenyan decent who arrived in the UK with her parents in 1995 aged eight. Dana was always bigger than the other girls her age, and often bigger than the boys too! By the age of eighteen she had a wirey 6'2" frame and was incredibley athletic. Always a fan of pro-wrestling, even though (or maybe because) her mother hated it (declaring that it degrades women), Dana began training in 2007 at the local Kal Malarky Wrestling Academy.

A year later Dana made her indie debut under the gimmick of an African Warrior Princess, fighting for equality between men and women in the sport and trying to bring pride to her beloved Kenya. Her mother has never been prouder!

With only the indies to call home in the UK Dana moved to the US in early 2013 to follow her dream of becoming one of the world's top women's wrestlers.

Apparently Dana got the nod from fellow Kal Malarky Academy graduate Travis Lothario as a good prospect for Jack America to hire. She's certainly one of the biggest women on the scene today, let hope GAW is only the start for the young Kenyan.

CASSIDY GILMOUR-HART

http://imageshack.us/a/img560/5917/ukfem13.jpg

Cassidy Gilmour is the cousin of James Gilmore-Hart of PWI fame and the first ever trainee of her cousin's wife, Jessica Gilmore-Hart. For years Cassidy watched her cousin on the DVDs of PWI shows that he sent her, wishing she could do it too. So when Jess & Cassidy got talking at a Christmas family get-together in 2010 and Jessica told Cassy that she was looking for the right person to train Cassidy jumped at the chance!

It took a couple of years but in December 2012 Jessica declared that she was good to go, and not only that, fit to be a Hart. She handed Cassidy a pink and black singlet and the now official rookie burst into tears of joy!

Early reports are that the youngster has much of her mentor about her and, with no women's promotion or division currently active in the UK, Cassidy got on a plane and headed straight for the US. Many feel she would be best used as a valet for her 'kin' in PWI, but only time will tell.

So Cassidy really is the cousin of James and trained by Jessica, wasn't really sure if that was a work or not to be honest. Good to see the extended Hart family get that little bit bigger, especially a new female member! It looks like Jack America may have beat PWI to it, with the added bonus that in GAW we get to see Cassidy wrestle too!

TALENT TRADES

Only one trade for Sunday's show:

Robbie Martel
was traded from HCG for Thomas Beaumont for six shows. While this will mean Martel will be around for the March Tour, it means that Beaumont will be joining Latino Swag in heading to LA once a month for six months!

Hm...

Ash...I mean, Eric, if you could be head booker for a show, how would you book GAW?

Not suggesting this is the case with you, but I do wonder how many people think that the ThunderVerse uses Cverse renders rather than the other way around.:D

Anyone who hasn't heard of the legendary mods. Also, I think the GDS-Verse had the same thing too.

Yeah, I knew Ash was Eric. It'd be nice to get all the original workers into one thing.

I want to ask Travis Lothario to come work for me, that okay? :p

In all seriousness, ask Travis if he would ever consider going to places like Japan or Mexico to become a better worker. If I'm allowed, pose the question to Travis & Eric as a tag team.

GAW & OTHER NEWS

01/03/2013

Here is some more news from around the US:

http://imageshack.us/a/img89/4212/asebannerre.jpg

CHAPERONE OPENS HIS OWN PROMOTION!!

http://imageshack.us/a/img600/8463/chaperonealt.jpg

After a lot of talk, rumours & heresay it has been confirmed today that former WWWE & AWF superstar Chaperone has opened his own promotion, American Sports Entertainment! He has chosen to base ASE in the currently empty Mid-Atlantic region of the US and has already put feelers out for his starting roster, including sending contract offers out to (amongst others) the AWF's Omri Stone, AWF Starlet Champion Dani, AWF Diva Search contestant Nevaeh, indie star Ares and a wealth of the best up-and-coming talent the US has to offer!

Chaperone is currently unavailable for comment as he's pretty busy right now given that he is determined to not only handle the running of the company but book the shows too, but he has promised to give Wrestling in Review an interview just as soon as he can. Everyone here at WiR wish Chaperone the best of luck with his new company.

NOT AT GAW

Last night there were a number of absences from GAW's Last Night in New England. This was due to AWF's PPV No Love Lost, which was shown live last night and meant that Marshall, Maloney, KISS & Serenity were all required to head over to Florida.

Frustratingly for Maloney & Serenity they didn't even make it on to the show and, it seems, turned up for nothing! However, KISS defeated Johnny Hollywood and Marshal Law continued to get involved in the Hawk/Albert feud by handcuffing Hawk and locking him in a boiler room to stop him interfering in the main event between Albert & Towerblock.

Marshal Law's stock continues to head ever upward as his alliance with Mountain Albert continues. If he keeps going like this he'll be too big for promotions like GAW pretty soon!

http://imageshack.us/a/img546/5173/gawbanner.jpg

COMINGS AND GOINGS

A few more ins and outs for GAW:

http://imageshack.us/a/img607/8474/imfa.jpg

It seems that
Idris Mwai Fonseca
was only contracted for one show as his profile is now gone from the roster page. I'm quite surprised by that too be honest, I figured we'd at least get him for the rest of the tour.

http://imageshack.us/a/img29/8026/scotthart.jpghttp://imageshack.us/a/img69/3474/nickhart.jpg

Scott & Nick Hart
's loan periods have now come to an end, but for some reason their profiles are still on the GAW roster page, must be an oversight.

http://imageshack.us/a/img833/373/dukedynamitealt1mjs.jpg

And on the other side of things
Ali Hassan
(aka Duke Dynamite) finally signed his contract to join GAW full time as (his now mentor) Ali Ababwa's tag team partner.

INTERVIEW WITH JACK AMERICA

01/03/2013

Welcome back to 'Wrestling in Review'. So GAW's first tour of the year is done, and there have been a lot of ups and downs. Here is my interview with Guy, Eric & Travis Lothario and GAW Head Booker Jack America.

********************

http://imageshack.us/a/img62/5553/thegrandavatar.jpg
- Welcome back to the Wrestling in Review Offices Jack.

http://imageshack.us/a/img850/2066/jackamerica.jpg
- Good to be back.

http://imageshack.us/a/img62/5553/thegrandavatar.jpg
- And a very warm welcome to Guy, Eric & Travis Lothario too.

http://imageshack.us/a/img145/5654/guylotharioalt.jpg
- Pleasure's all ours son.

http://imageshack.us/a/img62/5553/thegrandavatar.jpg
- So we'll get right down to it, I know all four of you must be tired after last night. Especially you Guy, and thank you for being willing to fly from DRAGON's show last night in Seattle all the way to Rhode Island to be with us today. So, as always, we've had some questions submitted by users and the first comes from this month's Regular League Predictions winner TheEnforcer:

'Eric and Travis, how does it feel to meet after all this time? It's like you're almost twins!'

http://imageshack.us/a/img5/5092/ericlothario.jpg
- Well, you know, we met like seven years ago. Pop flew Travis over, he was fifteen & still in school, I was 21 and trying to break into Hollywood. To be honest, it was pretty cool to have a little brother to show LA to while he was over here, an I swear Travis got more attention from the ladies than I did that month
(Travis blushed)
, so I don't know if I'd say we look like twins! I never thought we'd end up tagging together but honestly, we've only teamed up twice and I can already tell you Travis is hands down the best tag partner I've ever had!

http://imageshack.us/a/img38/1613/travislothario.jpg
-
(still blushing)
Awww, what can I say to follow that? It was pretty crazy finding out at 14 that the famous wrestler all the kids at school said I looked like actually
was
my dad! And spending that month in LA with him and Eric was an awesome experience. I got to meet a load of my childhood heroes that month and as for the ladies, Eric, it's all in the accent mate. I was only fifteen, all I could do was blush & giggle! But it's so great to be over here again, and now I get to do what I love with my family by my side.

http://imageshack.us/a/img62/5553/thegrandavatar.jpg
- Speaking of family, and I hope this isn't too personal a question, how does your mother feel about all this given that she kept the identity of your father secret for so long?

http://imageshack.us/a/img145/5654/guylotharioalt.jpg
- I'll field this one boys. Harriet is an awesome woman and a great mom, I completely understand why she kept me & Travis apart, she wanted him to have a normal childhood and I respect that. Over the years since finding out about Travis I've spent all the time I could in the UK, I even stayed in their house when I worked for GBWF in 2008. Hell, I took that gig so I
could
stay in their house for a year! Plus I got to watch Travis graduate from the Kal Malarky Wrestling Academy that year. I mean, I chucked on a hat & fake moustashe so no one would recognise me sat with his mom, but I got to be there. When I first met his mom I'll admit we didn't know each other, but over the years we've gotten very close and I'm happy to say that she will be moving over to the US very soon... to become Mrs Lothario!

http://imageshack.us/a/img62/5553/thegrandavatar.jpg
- WOW! Guy Lothario is getting married?! That's amazing news! You must be thrilled Travis!

http://imageshack.us/a/img38/1613/travislothario.jpg
- Totally mate, it's been brilliant watching them get close over the years, but I never thought it would end up like this, I'm over the moon about it!

http://imageshack.us/a/img5/5092/ericlothario.jpg
- Yeah, it's awesome to see Pop finally settle down and Harriet's a great lady.

http://imageshack.us/a/img62/5553/thegrandavatar.jpg
- I'm sure she is. Well, congratulations Guy Lothario! The next question is just for you Eric and is from the second placed Psycho Sam:

'Eric, if you could be head booker for a show, how would you book GAW?'

http://imageshack.us/a/img5/5092/ericlothario.jpg
- Whoa! Tough question! Well, I'd be in every match..... hahaha! Nah, to be honest, I'm not the booker type man. You've got sit there and think about last show, and this show, and the show three months down the line, its too much stuff to fit in my head man. So, if I was head booker for GAW for a night? Man, it best be a stand-alone show where I get to just play!

http://imageshack.us/a/img62/5553/thegrandavatar.jpg
- And if it was? You can do what you like and someone else deals with the fall-out...

http://imageshack.us/a/img5/5092/ericlothario.jpg
- HAAHAHA!!! Sooooo, Trav, you wanna be All-American Champ right? I'll take the World strap & Pop, you can take down The Devastators two on one to win the tag title right? HAHAAHHAHAHA!!! Nah, seriously though, I'd personally love to be in just one main event with Danny Red-Cloud, just once. And I know that Travis is itching to face Pop's old pal Jack Bodydrop, so I'd bring him in for the night. Other than that, I'd probably let the boys in the back tell me who they wanna fight that night and see what happens!

http://imageshack.us/a/img62/5553/thegrandavatar.jpg
- Doesn't sound like we'll be hearing that you've decided to apply for a booking job any time soon then! This next question is for you Guy and is from long-time fan Kitarzu:

'Guy, aside from your sons, who do you think will be the next big thing in GAW?'

http://imageshack.us/a/img145/5654/guylotharioalt.jpg
- Damn son, that's not an easy question! In GAW I mean. No offense to Jack, but with guys coming and going it's hard to say who will
be
in GAW in six months time!
(Jack America laughs)
But if you mean who is currently on the GAW roster I would tip to be a big name in the future of pro wrestling? Well, this may shock you, but I would say Susie Van Zant!

http://imageshack.us/a/img62/5553/thegrandavatar.jpg
- Wha?

http://imageshack.us/a/img145/5654/guylotharioalt.jpg
- You expected a guy, right? Well I tell you what boy, young Susie ain't just a pretty face and pretty voice, she's pretty damn talented too! I see big things for her in the future.

http://imageshack.us/a/img62/5553/thegrandavatar.jpg
- OK, fair enough. But out of the men on the roster?

http://imageshack.us/a/img145/5654/guylotharioalt.jpg
- Now that
is
a harder one. I have to give Jack credit, he really has brought together some of the cream of the indie scene in GAW. I'm kinda torn, because I do think Richie Santana Jr will one day be one of the best workers in the world, maybe even better than his dad. But right now, I would have to say Dirk Robertson. The guy spent a year waiting for his break back in 2000 in the WWWE and never really got it but the Become a Star Competition & working for GAW seems to have breathed new life into the guy. He's just had his first World Title match in GAW, he's the current World Champ in WrestleX & making a name for himself in Mexico with GILL! I give it a year before AWF & PWI are competing to sign this guy to a full-time contract.

http://imageshack.us/a/img62/5553/thegrandavatar.jpg
- That's probably not a bad call! Finally we have a question for you Jack, and it comes from Zergon:

'Jack America, there have been quite a few wrestlers coming and going in GAW. Is there anyone who has been on the roster who you wouldn´t want to bring back for any reason?'

http://imageshack.us/a/img850/2066/jackamerica.jpg
- Well, putting Jack Bodydrop & Brian King aside for a moment... I have one I wouldn't hire again, but I
would
like to. I don't feel bad about saying this because the wrestler in question agrees, but I wouldn't hire Dwaine Kai again. Don't get me wrong, he's a good kid and oh so talented. But Dwaine has a destiny about him and, while GAW got him a bit of exposure, he needs to be picked up by someone with TV. I guarantee, Mr Hawaii gets on TV, he'll be a household name in a year!

http://imageshack.us/a/img145/5654/guylotharioalt.jpg
- I totally agree, I met Dwaine briefly at the GAW Christmas Party and he does seem to have what it takes and the right attitude to get there. Good luck to him, I say!

http://imageshack.us/a/img62/5553/thegrandavatar.jpg
- Well I'd say that with an endorsment from Jack America & Guy Lothario it would be shocking if a big promotion
didn't
pick up Mr Hawaii this year! Another question for Travis and Eric, this time from your self-proclaimed #1 Fan Travis, MichiganHero:

'Travis & Eric, would you ever consider going to places like Japan or Mexico to become a better worker?'

http://imageshack.us/a/img38/1613/travislothario.jpg
- Honestly? No. And I'll tell you why. Some of the best workers in the world, they started their life in the UK. Hell, if young Japanese workers want to up their game, they head to the UK, to GBWF & SSS, to work with British veterans. We've got the Hart Foundation Wrestling School, the Evans Conservatory & the Kal Malarky Academy churning out amazing wrestlers. Hell, the Welsh Entertainment Wrestling Academy tied to my old promotion XEW has produced some of the hottest UK prospects in years recently! Why anyone who wanted to learn what wrestling is all about would head anywhere but the UK is a complete mystery to me!

http://imageshack.us/a/img5/5092/ericlothario.jpg
- Trav, that's just your opinion bro. Personally, I was considering Japan myself in the middle of last year. I'd not wrestled for 18 months outside the indies & Pop said he'd put in a good word at UPJ for me, then I got a call off Jack here and figured why not see how this pans out first, you know? But Mexico? Nah, spicey food gives me wind! Hahahaha!

http://imageshack.us/a/img62/5553/thegrandavatar.jpg
- HAHA! Well that's all fair enough I suppose. OK, last user-submitted question. It's for you Jack and comes from the Pure Predictions League Competition winner Midnightnick:

'Jack America, the days are going by quickly, and most of the legends on the roster must be thinking of moving on to non-wrestling roles, is GAW going to be taken over entirely by youth at some point?'

http://imageshack.us/a/img850/2066/jackamerica.jpg
- Oh hell no! Always remember, today's veteran is yesterday's rookie and tomorrow's legend. I mean, yeah, over three quarters of the roster is over thirty, but at the same time, just over half the roster is aged 30-39, which many consider to be the prime of their career. That's guys like Peter Iaukea, Josh Maloney, Shay & Brett, even the winner of the Return of a Legend Competition PsychoTIC is only 33! These guys still have time to make their mark, some of them for the second time! And you can add to that the fact that over half of us 'young whippersnappers' are over 25 and have been around a fair while ourselves!

When you really think about it, how many true wrestling 'legends' do we have in GAW? Guy here, Rudy
(Single)
, Terry
(Rapada)
& The Devastators. Oh, and Richie Santana in the back too. Those are the guys who everyone worshiped back in the day, guys who's names will go into the Hall of Immortals when they finally decide to hang up their boots for good. But at GAW we treat every veteran as a Legend, because keeping going in this business past the ten or fifteen year mark and staying relavent since the WWWE closed is, to me, an awesome achievement.

Rookies become veterans, veterans
are
legends, they just haven't been recognised yet! But in GAW, they'll get treated like legends provided they act like them, and hopefully we can give them a little push on their way to the Hall of Immortals.

http://imageshack.us/a/img145/5654/guylotharioalt.jpg
- Amen to that brother!

http://imageshack.us/a/img62/5553/thegrandavatar.jpg
- Stirring stuff indeed! Well, I'm afraid we're out of time. Jack America, anything you'd like to add?

http://imageshack.us/a/img850/2066/jackamerica.jpg
- Most definitely! This March GAW will heading to The Armory in Shelton, Connecticut so come on, all you Tri-Staters, come on down and watch your favourite wrestlers of a by-gone era duke it out with the up-and-coming wrestling stars of the future every Thursday night in March!

http://imageshack.us/a/img62/5553/thegrandavatar.jpg
- Well I'll certainly be heading down there! Many thanks to my guests today, Guy Lothario, Eric Lothario, Travis Lothario & Jack America!
