jhd1 Posted July 4, 2013 Share Posted July 4, 2013 Thanks for the responses. I have just moved into March 97, and have changed from Monday Night RAW at 1hr long to RAW Is War at 90 minutes. If I can keep up the same pace (and booking level) with the extra 30 minutes I should get to Wrestlemania by next week. K-Nection Posted July 4, 2013 Share Posted July 4, 2013 I would make the argument that if you can have a match for the mask then you could use it, but then again WWF had Vader "loose" his mask too. Even though he constantly took it off on his own during matched all the time. I'm with you on Kane's. It did work to hide his identity for a bit. By 1997 Glen Jacobs wasn't an unknown. He had been in the company for 3 years. So the mask did what it was supposed to do and people still argue that Kane has been played by two different people. Kane has what you would call 2 famous masks now. I have never demasked a luchador than remasked them does it give them 2 different masks or does it build off of the first one. One does not simply put back on a mask after its been lost. a worker will usually but not always work without a mask for awhile and then earn a new mask and possibly a new name at some point afterward. I've heard of workers losing their masks and then coming right back as a new masked character right after but I have no first hand knowledge of any of these instances.</p><p> </p><p> Mysterio was crapped on by a lot of Luchadors for losing his mask in WCW and then putting it back on in WWE (at the insistence of Vince). I have more prestige and more global popularity, but they have bigger USA pop and are on a bigger network, so draw bigger ratings weekly, though I get bigger PPV buyrates usually. A couple of weeks in and I'm not quite understanding how WCW was doing so well haha. I plan on making it more cohesive because it's a wild mess at this time. I have to say that for the most part this is a well put together mod.</p><p> </p><p> Not sure if you're gonna be updating this or anything, but I found a small error. Psychosis and Glacier should be on the WCW roster at the start.</p><p> </p><p> ALSO, these are justxxyank's pictures, yes? Easiest thing to do is to open one of the images in GIMP (or whatever you are going to use). I'd pick an image with a darker background (such as Big Bubba Rogers), and select the area inside the border and hit delete. So if Japan has more popularity in somewhere like Japan they might edge it, if your international pop is in the UK or Australia (which typically have lower importance, and also less regions). I've gotta say, 1997 WCW has so much talent that it's so easy to just throw stuff together and get much higher ratings than my 1994 WWF is getting. </p><p> </p><p> Chris Benoit pulled Big Bubba Rogers to an 80!
