What was your least favourite moment of the month, and why?
I honestly don't remember much of the month, so I don't feel right in answering this one.

Unfortunately my 'have a little break' turned into 5 months between shows.. It won't be that long again I can assure you!

We begin with the arrival of the new WWF Champion – as the Mastodon Vader makes his way to the ring claiming that it is Vader Time. Vader talks about how he has won World titles all over the globe; he’s won in Japan and Mexico and even the WCW Championship – but last week was the crowning moment of his career. The Mastodon says that he will go in history as one of the great’s in this industry because he has held the WWF title; and it won’t matter if his reign lasts for five years or five minutes.

Vader is interrupted by the arrival of the former Champion – Shawn Michaels – the Heart Break Kid is on his own with no other members of DX with him. HBK tells Vader that it’s time to get serious; he wants his rematch – right here tonight; and he will do anything to get that title back around his waist.

The champion looks like he is willing to give Michaels his shot; but before he can give his answer – the WWF Commissioner Sgt. Slaughter makes his way out to make the match official. Slaughter announces that Michaels will get his rematch against Vader one-on-one inside a Steel Cage tonight. No man, woman or child can interfere and the best man will be the winner and will go to WrestleMania to face Steve Austin.

The Big Red Machine was without leadership tonight as Paul Bearer was not at ringside following The Undertaker’s attack last week. This didn’t stop Kane from running through the rookie in no time at all.

Kane attempts to set the ring posts alight but he fails; the Big Red Machine looks confused and tries again – but to no avail. The lights suddenly go out and the arena is plunged into darkness; a grainy video begins to play – we head to a cemetery and see two empty graves; marked on the tombstones are the names of Paul Bearer and Kane. We pan out to see The Undertaker stood over both graves; he simply tells his brother to “rest in peace”.

We return to the ring with the arrival of Camp Cornette with James E. leading the way and telling everyone that he has an announcement regarding WrestleMania and the WWF Tag Team Titles. Cornette has received word from the office of Mr. McMahon that the World Tag Team Championships will be defended against three teams; one of which will be his team of Rhodes and Jarrett. The Outlaws will defend against Camp Cornette, The New Blackjacks and the Legion of Doom and tonight – Jeff Jarrett will face Blackjack Windham and prove that Camp Cornette is a championship calibre tag team.

Despite this contest officially being one-on-one; it was the numbers game that ultimately decided the outcome. Jarrett and Windham had a great back and forth battle but it was combined presence of Rhodes and Cornette that neutralised both Blackjacks and a tennis racquet from Cornette behind the referee’s back put the victory beyond doubt.

The WWF Intercontinental Champion leads out the Nation of Domination and The Rock quickly claims that last week defeat for Kama was a fluke and that tonight D’Lo is going to do the Nation’s bidding and the People’s bidding by beating Cactus Jack and proving that he isn’t on the same level as The Rock.

Much like last week’s battle between Cactus and the Nation; D’Lo gave Cactus as good as he got. Brown’s efforts were aided by Kama and the Rock but the Nation was unsuccessful once again with Cactus prevailing and getting one step closer to the Intercontinental Champion.

The WWF Owner Vince McMahon makes his way out to the ring; he claims that whilst he agrees with the Commissioner’s decision to make tonight WWF Championship rematch take place inside a Steel Cage to ensure that there will be no interference – he feels that Slaughter didn’t go far enough. Therefore; McMahon will go one step further – he announces that Steve Austin will have to face each member of D-Generation X over the next three weeks and if at any stage he loses a match he will lose his WrestleMania title shot. The DX gauntlet for Austin starts tonight as he will face the Road Dogg.

We head backstage to see Kevin Kelly standing by with Owen Hart – and the Black Hart talks about his attack on Ken Shamrock last week. Hart claims that his beatdown of the so-called World’s Most Dangerous Man proved that Owen Hart was the real deal and that he was more dangerous than any man. Ken Shamrock arrived on the scene and ambushed Hart like a mad man – Shamrock got several shots in but was pulled away by security. The pair were held apart; and with blood running down the face of Owen he claimed that he didn’t want to wait until WrestleMania – he wanted Shamrock inside the ring next week.

In a change of pace from the rest of the evening; Liger and Funk put on a high flying showcase that was frantic from bell to bell. Both men pull out the best moves in their arsenal and are equal until Liger hits a Brainbuster and lands the Shooting Star Press to retain his gold.

The Outlaws get off to a great start by working the referee and getting Austin on the back foot; but it doesn’t take long for the Rattlesnake to get the edge – and once he does he’s just a Stone Cold Stunner away from victory.

Winner: Steve Austin with the Stone Cold Stunner at 5:17

After the victory, Austin grabs a couple of beers and a microphone – he tells everyone that Austin 3:16 will be rolling into WrestleMania and will leave the night as the WWF Champion. It doesn’t matter to the Rattlesnake who the Champion is; he will take DX out along the way; he’ll take out Shawn Michaels and he will take out Vader – it doesn’t matter a damn thing what the road he has to take is; he will be the WWF Champion and that’s the bottom line ‘cause Stone Cold said so.

This battle picked up exactly where last week’s match left off; but the addition of the steel cage turned the intensity all the way up. It was a typical big man, little man battle with Vader doing the damage whilst he could control the pace – but Michaels having the edge whenever he could get enough distance between himself and the Mastodon. Michaels changed his strategy on the fly as it began to dawn on him that Vader was tiring. HBK turned up the pace and took the fight to the Champion; eager to regain what he believed was rightfully his. The cage came into play more frequently as the match went on; with both men using the steel fencing like a tag team partner and both men drawing blood.

Once the blood began to flow; Michaels went on the run but his attempts to exit the cage were thwarted by the Mastodon – with Vader getting a very close near fall following a picture perfect Powerbomb after pulling HBK down from the top rope. The power moves continued from there on out; but Vader’s first and only mistake of the match came when he set Michaels up for the Vader Bomb. The Champion took too much time and allowed HBK to recover; Michaels first crotched Vader on the top rope and then followed him up. HBK balanced himself in the centre of the ropes; and connected with a Sweet Chin Music that sent Vader crashing from the top down to the canvas. Michaels pulled himself up; shocked at taking the big man out and dragged himself up and out of the cage to reclaim the WWF Championship just weeks before WrestleMania.

After the cage is raised; Michaels staggers down to his knees – he eventually pulls himself back into the ring using the ropes; but at the same time the fallen former Champion gets back to his feet. Vader and Michaels turn and face each other in the centre of the ring; and after a tense staredown the exchange a handshake and show each other respect with Vader raising Michaels’ hand and leaving him to celebrate with his newly regained WWF Championship in the ring as the War Zone goes off the air.

A 92 rated match on Raw is nothing to sneeze at for sure, and I'm not sure what's up with the handshake after the match. How far away are we from WM? I'm guessing three weeks?

3 more Raw's to go until Mania and anything can happen!

Don't blame me; blame Russo! He's clearly booking for ratings these days.

Honestly, my thought process was quite simple really - I wanted to give Vader a push but he didn't feature in either my Mania main event or post Mania main event plans so why not throw a curveball and mix things up on the RTWM.

I'm pretty shocked by the 92 rating; 2nd best US match in the game so far (only bettered by Hogan/Sting at Starrcade as far as I recall) - and the progression in the rating when you compare this to NWOOT only a few weeks ago is astounding.

As for the handshake; only time will tell - but don't expect any short term answers; this is one you'll need to remember for a while yet..

This show has really got me back into the swing of things; it was quick to book, quick to write and got me my best match and show rating so far.. Hope everyone enjoyed!

We kick off with our very first match; and just like last week the rudderless ship known as Kane demolished one of the young Hardy brothers; wrapping the match up almost before it had begun.

Just like last week, Kane attempts to set his fire out of the turnbuckles – but once again nothing happens until the lights go out. The Undertaker appears on the titantron and tells his brother that Kane may have stolen the Phenom’s shot at once again becoming the WWF Champion – but he will steal Kane’s soul and send him straight to hell. Kane becomes visibly frustrated and once again attempts to light fire out of the turnbuckles but nothing happens. The Phenom simply laughs and does the same taunt as Kane – but this time the fire bursts out of the turnbuckles with Undertaker telling his brother to rest in peace.

In a match that was clearly viewed by the Champion as an exhibition saw The Rock very nearly get taken by surprise as TAKA refused to go down without a fight. The so-called “People’s Champion” was eventually forced to take the match seriously and ending things with the Rock Bottom.

Rocky celebrates his victory by grabbing a microphone and taunting Cactus Jack. The Rock compares Cactus to TAKA stating that he was overmatched and under prepared – when the Rock defeats him at WrestleMania – he will prove that Cactus defeating two members of the Nation was nothing more than a fluke. The Rock’s taunts draw out Cactus Jack who storms the ring and gets in a couple of shots but the Champion hightails it from the ring before too much damage can be done.

Backstage, the number one contender Steve Austin makes his arrival – he pulls up in his pickup truck and heads inside the arena.

Backstage, Kevin Kelly is standing by with the WWF Owner – Vince McMahon – who has a quick announcement and states that tonight he wants Shawn Michaels and Steve Austin together in the ring as we’re just three weeks away from the WWF Championship match at WrestleMania.

In a continuation in the series of singles matches featuring the three teams who will challenge for the Tag Team Titles at WrestleMania; Camp Cornette once again found themselves at an advantage thanks to their strength in numbers. For much of the match, Cornette and Jarrett handed Rhodes the advantage and in the end; it was a distraction by Jarrett and another tennis racquet shot by Cornette that handed his man the victory.

After the bell; The New Backjacks hit the ring and all three teams began brawling in and around the ringside area. The three teams give each other hell but no team has the advantage before they are split up by officials.

We head backstage to see Kane tearing the building apart; officials and security attempt to calm him down but the Big Red Machine simply walks through them all until the lights go out once again. The room fills with smoke and eerie music begins to play – as the lights come back on an unconscious Paul Bearer is seen on the floor at the Big Red Machine’s feet. It was clear that the Undertaker had sent his brother yet another message.

The much anticipated debut of the ‘adult film star’ Val Venis is greeted by a great reaction from the female fans in attendance; but not such a great reaction from his opponent. Venis put on a showcase; and finished the former Light Heavyweight Champion off with a big top rope splash that he calls the “Money Shot”.

Venis grabs a microphone and tells the ladies in attendance tonight that anyone of them can star in his next movie; they just have to ask – but he already has a lead female in mind; as he was walking backstage he saw Sable and stated “I came, I saw… and then I came again”. Val gives Sable an offer she can’t refuse – starring alongside Venis in his next big hit.

Despite Owen asking for this match last week he looked like a man whose head was clearly not in the fight. Shamrock got increasingly frustrated as Owen dodged and avoided him for much of the match; both men did connect with a few shots but Owen eventually walked out on the match and decided to fight another day.

Winner: Ken Shamrock via count out after Owen Hart abandoned the match at 5:31

As Owen heads to the back; Shamrock gets more and more mad at the situation – and once officials enter the ring to try and calm him down – the World’s Most Dangerous Man snaps and takes out his anger and frustration on anyone who stands in his way.

Backstage, Kevin Kelly catches up to Owen Hart – who calmly tells Kevin that he simply changed his mind and decided that he did in fact want to wait until WrestleMania before teaching Ken Shamrock the lesson he desperately needs to learn.

Austin’s second match against one-half of the Tag Team Champions followed much the same format as last week’s encounter. Road Dogg heavily interfered and tried to give his partner the advantage at every turn but his only reward was a Stunner for both himself and Billy Gunn as Austin rolled one step closer to WrestleMania.

Austin grabs a microphone and a couple of beers and takes up station inside the ring; he wants to cut to the chase and calls out McMahon and Michaels – but before he even finishes his first beer Triple H heads down to the ring. Helmsley tells Austin that he needs to get through him before he gets to the Champion – Austin begins to tell Triple H that he looks forward to whooping his ass when Vader storms down to ringside. The former WWF Champion gives Helmsley a couple of stiff right hands and chases him to the back.

Austin laughs to himself as the WWF Owner Vince McMahon makes his way to the ring; McMahon tells the Rattlesnake that he has serious business and calls out the WWF World Heavyweight Champion – as Shawn Michaels joins the pair in the ring. McMahon tells both men that next week we will see the official contract signing for the WrestleMania XIV main event and announces that the only way Austin remains in the match is if he defeats Triple H next week. McMahon feels that it is only fair that Michaels has the night off after having to face Vader two weeks in a row. Stone Cold tells McMahon that he has heard enough – he tells him to exit the ring before he gets his ass kicked. Michaels squares up to Austin and the pair exchange words and both men promise to defeat the other at WrestleMania and leave with the WWF Championship as we go off the air.

The announce team send us into the ring where the WWF Owner Vince McMahon is standing by to welcome everyone the new look Raw is War and the new look WWF. McMahon promises that tonight will truly showcase the new attitude of the World Wrestling Federation and will be highlighted by the official contract signing for the WrestleMania XIV main event – that is of course, if Steve Austin can defeat Triple H – if he can do that; the WWF Champion Shawn Michaels will be waiting for him in Boston.

After beating both brothers over the past two weeks in singles action; the Big Red Machine took on the pair in a handicap match – but the result was exactly the same. Kane dropped both Hardy brothers with a Chokeslam a piece and covered them both for the victory.

As Kane is declared the winner; Bearer begins to taunt the Undertaker – claiming that he believes Kane to be better than him in every single way. Bearer tells the Phenom to keep playing all the mind games that he wants but come March 29th at WrestleMania it will be the Big Red Machine standing tall. The lights go out and The Undertaker appears on the titantron – he tells both Kane and Bearer to simply rest in peace. Smoke fills the arena as the Phenom’s laugh can be heard and men dressed as druids begin to enter the ring. Kane fights off each man as he enters as Bearer screams at the Undertaker to fight his brother like a man.

Backstage, Steve Austin arrives in his pickup truck – he throws an empty beer can into the back and grabs hold of the camera as it focuses in on him. Stone Cold talks into the camera and promises to raise hell tonight and continue to kick ass as we head to WrestleMania.

We head into the office of the WWF Owner as Vince McMahon is talking to the Commissioner Sgt. Slaughter about his hopes for the WWF Champion as we embark on a new era for the World Wrestling Federation. McMahon tells Slaughter that he wants the man who leaves WrestleMania as Champion to be the perfect representation of the company and be the embodiment of the new attitude of the WWF. Slaughter attempts to talk up the merits of Steve Austin but McMahon shoots him down and claims that literally anybody would be a better representation of the company; even Slaughter himself – McMahon will do everything in his power to stop that from happening.

It was announced that the six men in this match would battle at WrestleMania over Liger’s WWF Light Heavyweight Championship. All six men had spells in control to showcase their abilities but eventually the match broke down and the referee lost control of the action. With Liger, Funk, Aguila and Christopher fighting on the floor – Storm managed to trap TAKA in the Canadian Maple Leaf to force the submission and gain huge momentum heading into WrestleMania.

We cut to a video set in a dark and dingy bar – clusters of people are seen milling around but the focus is on a group of people wearing face paint and covered in tattoos. The group’s dreadlocked leader slowly rising to his feet; and addressing his assembled followers - he tells us that his name is Vampiro and he will be bringing his Dark Carnival to the World Wrestling Federation.

We then head to a pre-taped sit down interview conducted by Jim Ross with Cactus Jack. JR introduces Cactus as a hardcore legend and potentially the next WWF Intercontinental Champion – Cactus tells Ross that he appreciates being referred to as a hardcore legend but he needs to prove to everybody that he is more than just that. Cactus needs to defeat the Rock at WrestleMania to prove to JR, the fans and more importantly himself that Cactus Jack is not a one trick pony – he needs to prove that Cactus Jack can make it in this business without having to rip his body to pieces in every match. JR tells Cactus that he looks forward to the match at WrestleMania and has faith that Cactus will prove all of his doubters wrong.

In his second match; Venis puts in another strong showing and after a couple of early scares puts away the Boricuan with the Money Shot to keep his wave of momentum building.

After the bell, Venis begins his usual celebration but as he grabs a microphone he is attacked from behind by Marc Mero. The Marvellous One is furious after hearing Val’s words last week and wants to make him pay. Sable arrives at ringside and calls Mero off – and the distraction allows Val to get back to his feet and battle back – Mero quickly gets out of the ring before Venis can build any momentum. Much to Sable’s displeasure Mero tells Val he will face him at WrestleMania and make him pay for looking at his wife in that way.

Owen Hart heads to the ring next, and announces that he has heard in the back that Ken Shamrock isn’t here tonight so Hart claims that he will be allowed to showcase his talents without interruption. Owen fancies having a warm-up match against another so-called tough guy and will prove that if anyone deserves the moniker of “World’s Most Dangerous Man” it should be the Black Hart.

Ahmed hits the ring with a point to prove; but Owen has the Pearl River Powerhouse on the run from the beginning – his tactic clearly to tire the big man out before he can do any damage. Owen then gives Ahmed a clinic in chain wrestling and works the former Intercontinental Champion over before locking him in the Sharpshooter to get the submission victory.

As Owen celebrates his victory; in typical over the top fashion – Ken Shamrock calmly makes his way towards the ring. Owen spots him just as Shamrock climbs through the ropes and he goes pale with fear. Shamrock takes a shocked Owen down to the canvas and gives him a beating; he locks in the Ankle Lock but officials storm the ring and quickly separate the two. Owen limps off to the back as Shamrock composes himself and tells Owen that the clock is ticking down until WrestleMania.

We head backstage to the DX locker room where Shawn Michaels is stood as Triple H is preparing for his upcoming match. HBK tells Helmsley that no matter what happens tonight he is focussed on facing Austin at WrestleMania – he just wants to prove that he is the better man and the better Champion. Helmsley is pissed off at HBK for not having faith in his ability – he knows he can beat Austin tonight and he will beat Vader at WrestleMania as well. Helmsley thinks HBK believes that he is above him and storms out – HBK tries to call after him to explain but to no avail.

Backstage in the parking lot we see Kane and Paul Bearer – but smoke suddenly fills the area and a hearse pulls up filled with several men dressed as druids. Kane drops every man quickly but the hearse suddenly bursts into flames – the pair staggers backwards but the flames quickly put themselves out. The Undertaker appears in the driving seat of the burnt out hearse and is just seen laughing at his brother before driving away.

“Stone Cold” Steve Austin [vs] Triple H

In the final match of Stone Cold’s DX gauntlet – the Rattlesnake was forced to go one-on-one with the group’s second in command and it was clear that Helmsley had a point to prove following his argument with the WWF Champion earlier in the night. Much of the talk on commentary was regarding Triple H’s new found mean streak and suggestions that he would need this streak in just 13 days at WrestleMania as he defends the European title again Vader. Austin however was not to be overshadowed this close to his big WrestleMania moment – and it was this moment that Stone Cold refused to give away. Austin countered all of Helmsley’s big moves and after powering out of a Pedigree attempt it was a rapid fire Stone Cold Stunner that won the match for Austin and secured his place in the main event of WrestleMania.

We come back from the break with Steve Austin drinking beers and celebrating his victory whilst the ring crew rapidly set the ring up for the contract signing. Once the table and paperwork is in place – the WWF Owner Vince McMahon makes his arrival. McMahon addresses Austin and congratulates him on his victory and for securing his place in the main event; McMahon suggests that maybe there is hope for Austin yet – which the Rattlesnake quickly dismisses and tells Austin to show his ‘perfect Champion image’ right where the sun don’t shine.

After their verbal sparring, McMahon introduces the WWF Champion Shawn Michaels to the ring. HBK is in a fully serious mode as he tells McMahon that he isn’t here to play games he’s here to agree the terms that will govern the WWF Championship match in the main event of WrestleMania XIV. Michaels looks straight into Austin’s eyes and tells him that in 13 nights in Boston that he will have to prove that he is the best in the world if he wants to walk away as the WWF Champion. HBK openly admits that he took his eye off the ball when he faced Vader and lost the title just a few weeks ago – but he is fully focussed on the end game; at that end game is retaining the WWF Championship and proving that he deserves the accolades that go along with that.

Austin agrees with Michaels that the best man will leave WrestleMania as the Champion – but unfortunately for HBK that best man is Stone Cold Steve Austin. McMahon attempts to stir the pot by telling Austin that it is clear in his mind that Michaels is his preferred WWF Champion and if it was up to McMahon – Steve Austin wouldn’t be in this match. Austin stares down McMahon and backs him out of the ring before both competitors sign the contract and square up to each other as the show comes to a close.

I've kind of gone a little bit crazy with the last few shows and covered three weeks worth of TV in a little over 5 days.. Hopefully it's not been too quick for everyone to keep up - but I've been very eager to get to WrestleMania. I've made a slight change to the writing style which means I've been able to write shows quicker - and on that I have the go-home Raw booked and am about to start writing the show up. WrestleMania will be much more detailed however and will probably take some more time to pull together - I have to make sure it goes off without a hitch.

The opening video for WWF Raw is War airs and we go live inside the arena where Jim Ross and Jerry Lawler welcome us and briefly talk about what is in store for tonight’s show.

The crowd seem extra loud tonight and it is announced that boxing’s former Undisputed Heavyweight Champion of the World – “Iron” Mike Tyson was in attendance at ringside; Tyson gave the crowd a big wave and took his seat in the front row.

The cheers quickly turn into boos as the WWF Owner Vince McMahon makes his entrance. McMahon comes out to talk about WrestleMania being less than a week away and how he can’t wait for Austin’s dreams to shatter. McMahon reminds the fans that he wants a suitable WWF Champion to usher in a new era for the WWF and that he is determined that it won’t be Austin.

Typically, Steve Austin makes his presence felt as he arrives in the ring, with beer in hand, to tell McMahon to shut his mouth and get on with the show. Austin tells McMahon to get his ass back behind the curtain before he drops him with a Stunner – but before either man can make the next move D-Generation X hit the ring and attack Stone Cold. Austin holds his own but the numbers game proves too much – with McMahon cheering DX on they look to getting the better of the Number One Contender.

However, Austin had huge back-up in the form of the former WWF Champion Vader – who stormed the ring and cleared DX from the ring in rapid fashion. Vader and Austin stand tall as a shocked Vince hastily announces that tonight’s main event will see Michaels and Helmsley face Austin and Vader in tag team action. McMahon scurries from the ring as Austin looks to make good on his Stunner threat.

This eight man tag match was destined to be chaos from the off and it didn’t disappoint. All eight men had spells in control and in danger but the match lacked flow and cohesion until it completely broke down. The Outlaws and Legion of Doom brawled out to floor whilst Rhodes and Bradshaw spilled into the front row – leaving Jarrett and Windham alone in the ring. The end came once Jarrett managed to take advantage of a weakened Windham and locked him in the Figure Four for the submission victory.

After the bell the four teams continue their brawling; eventually the eight men separate but leave Bradshaw and Animal stood in the ring each holding a Tag Team title belt each – the Outlaws look on from the entrance way; clearly concerned that their gold could be leaving them on Sunday night.

We get a second pre-filmed vignette about the imminent arrival of the “Leader of the Dark Carnival” – the bizarre and gothic Vampiro. He gets his group of followers to chant his name as he sits cross legged on the floor with a sinister grin on his face.

In the ring, Marc Mero and Sable arrive ready for Mero’s match – the pair argued all the way to the ring and it doesn’t let up once Mero grabs a microphone. He tells Sable that he has had enough with her attitude and tells her she needs to learn her place – and that’s either standing behind Mero holding his ring gown or in the back tidying his locker room. The Marvellous One gives Sable the choice and she chooses to walk to the back leaving Mero to be fuming on his own.

Blackman came into the ring like a house on fire but he was met by an equally fired up Mero; fresh off the back of his argument with his wife. Blackman tried to take advantage, but Mero get his head and after ducking a Karate Kick he caught Mero and planted him with a TKO for the win.

We cut backstage to see Val Venis approaching Sable in the locker room – the pair flirt with Val telling Sable that he knows the perfect role for her and after he defeats Mero at WrestleMania she should give him a call. Mero sees this on the big screen and throws a fit and rushes off backstage.

Back at ringside, Jim Ross leaves his position at the announce table to grab a word with Mike Tyson – the former Undisputed Champion talks about how big a fan he is of the WWF and how much he is looking forward to going to WrestleMania.

The Nation of Domination are out next as the Intercontinental Champion The Rock leads the way. He has some choice word for his WrestleMania opponent Cactus Jack and references Cactus’ sit down interview that aired last week. Rocky talks about Cactus in Japan and brings up his idol and hero – Terry Funk; Rocky calls Cactus a poor man’s version of the Funker – but Funk was pretty poor to begin with. The Rock belittles Cactus and claims that he will do something tonight in order to prove to all the doubters that the Rock will leave WrestleMania with his title. Rocky challenges Funk to a Hardcore match right here, right now and if he loses he will hand Cactus the title at WrestleMania. It doesn’t take much to get Terry Funk to accept a challenge – and he rushes towards the ring with a steel chair in each hand.

Funk started out swinging; with Rocky ducking everything he could – D’Lo and Kama were quickly involved but dispatched in rapid time by a rabid Funker. This gave The Rock an opening and he engaged Funk in a big brawl; the pair falling in and out of the ring for several minutes until Funk got control and set up a ladder on the outside. Rock struck Funk with a couple of chair shots to the back before he could do anything else and laid him out with a stiff shot across the head. Rock grabbed a microphone and climbed the ladder – where he taunted Cactus Jack and promised to his idol down once and for all tonight.

Much to Rocky’s surprise, Funk was back on his feet and following Rock up the ladder; he grabbed the Intercontinental Champion from behind and planted him through the announce table with a Backdrop Suplex. Whilst the Rock took the brunt of the damage; Funk didn’t escape unharmed – he dragged Rocky into the ring and made the cover; but The Rock managed to get his shoulder up. Funk pulled Rocky back to his feet and looked for a Piledriver; but Rock reversed and broke free – catching Funk on the rebound; planting him with the Rock Bottom to steal the victory.

Backstage in the D-Generation X locker room; Shawn Michaels and Triple H are talking and discuss last week’s argument. Tonight, they promise to put everything behind them and show unity and strength – HBK believes that as long as they have each other’s backs both men will leave WrestleMania as Champion.

We remain backstage to see Vader walking into the locker room of Steve Austin – the Rattlesnake hands him a beer and the pair drink and have a few words. The pair agree that the best way to defeat DX is to simply kick their asses all over Rhode Island.

Owen once again claimed that he was going to beat up a so-called tough guy to prove that his image was real. Faarooq gave him a good fight but Owen wrestled his way through and locked in the Sharpshooter to earn another victory on his road to WrestleMania.

Owen is celebrating after the bell; but he suddenly stops and directs his attention to something at ringside. The Black Hart grabs a microphone and walks over to Mike Tyson; he taunts both Tyson and Shamrock – telling the pair that they are nothing but wannabe tough guys who couldn’t make it in their own sport so came here to try and steal some of Owen Hart’s fame. Owen squares up to Tyson and tells him that he is a nobody just like Shamrock; Iron Mike simply laughs and feigns to throw a punch. Owen is shocked and jumps out of his skin – falling backward onto the floor. Tyson celebrates his ‘knockdown’ which further infuriates Owen – he tells Tyson to turn up at WrestleMania if he’s serious and Owen will kick his ass once he kicks Shamrock’s; Tyson nods in agreement – he will be at WrestleMania.

After all four men had promised a war earlier in the night; it was a battle from the off. DX had control early on as they targeted Austin’s knee and double teamed him for much of the early going. Austin eventually got a second wind and made the hot tag to Vader – the Mastodon steamrolled through both Michaels and Helmsley and sent both of them crashing to the outside. Vader and Austin regrouped and followed DX to the outside – and it was here that the match would stay. All four men brawled on the outside with the WrestleMania opponents squaring off – Vader clothesline Triple H over the barricade on one side of the ring whilst Austin did the same to Michaels on the other. The referee was attempting to convince all four men to make it back to the ring and was liberal with his ten count but once Vader sent Helmsley crashing into a wall he called for the bell – with it being clear that no one was listening to him.

No Contest after both team brawled into the crowd and were counted out at 15:32

The brawling continues as Vader and Helmsley disappear through the crowd backstage – leaving Austin and Michaels to brawl back towards the ring. Austin clotheslines HBK back over the barricade and throws him into the ring. He kicks Michaels in the gut and sets up the Stone Cold Stunner – but the WWF Champion reverses and spins Stone Cold around before dropping him with the Sweet Chin Music. Michaels grabs his title belt from ringside and stands tall over Austin in the centre of the ring – they will meet in six days at WrestleMania.

I've just got the main event to type up and we're well over 3,000 words (raw and Shotgun are usually around the 2,000 word mark) so it's a beast..

Our opening contest is a huge one with all four teams having bad blood over recent months. The LOD and the Blackjacks formed an early alliance against the Outlaws – but with Camp Cornette determined to prove that they are the premier team of the division they were never too far from the action. It was the veteran team who were the first to fall victim in this format – as the Champions took it upon themselves to join forces with Rhodes and Jarrett to leave Hawk on his own – stranded from his partner. The match broke down a little but Hawk was put down for the three count after a huge Pavor Nocturnus DDT from the American Nightmare.

Eliminated: The Legion of Doom after Rhodes hit the Pavor Nocturnus on Hawk at 8:22

Alliances were quickly broken as the Outlaws and Camp Cornette began fighting not long after the three count. Bradshaw and Windham took the edge using their power advantage; cleaning house on both of the other teams. Jarrett was unfortunate enough to eat a huge Running Clothesline from the big Texan and was out for the count before Rhodes could manage to break up the pin.

Windham celebrated the elimination with his partner; but Bradshaw simply shrugged him off and told his partner to keep his focus on the task at hand. The Outlaws were tentative to re-engage with the Blackjacks after seeing the head of steam they had built; but luckily for the Champions they didn’t need to. Bradshaw had seemingly had enough of sharing his spotlight with Windham – he blindsided his partner and floored him with another huge Running Clothesline. He pointed at his fallen partner and told the Outlaws to finish him off; to which the Champions gladly obliged – giving Windham a Spike Piledriver and retaining their titles.

After the bell, the Outlaws leave with their title belts in tact but Bradshaw is left alone in the ring with his now former tag team partner. Windham slowly gets back up to his feet; he turns to his partner with confusion painted across his face – Bradshaw wastes no time in dropping Windham with a second devastating Running Clothesline. With the New Blackjacks no more – Bradshaw walks off to the back shouting about how he was fed up carrying Windham’s dead weight over the last few months.

Val Venis makes his way to the ring and after wooing the ladies and removing his towel he tells Sable that once he wins he's taking her into the back to film the first scene of his new movie.

Despite both men clearly having their mind, and eyes, on the outside of the ring they had an entertaining back and forth battle. Mero constantly interrupted the flow of the match to tell Sable to get back into his corner and to watch his back – whilst Venis was more concerned with impressing Sable and gyrating in her direction at every opportunity. As the match wore on it was Mero who ultimately got distracted by his wife once too often; and a snap suplex from the Big Valbowski was quickly followed by the Money Shot to give the newcomer a huge victory.

After the bell, Venis celebrates his victory by inviting Sable into the ring for a preview of their scene. Sable looks interested; but before she can give away her true feelings – Mero attacks from behind with a steel chair. Mero clocks Venis twice before telling him to keep away from his damn wife. The Marvellous One grabs Sable by the arm and drags her out of the ring – Sable doesn’t seem too happy but doesn’t question her husband as they head backstage.

We go backstage to Kevin Kelly who is standing by with the number one contender – Steve Austin. Stone Cold tells Kevin that tonight is his night – he’s been through enough crap over the past two years and tonight, all the hard work will pay off. Tonight, the bottom line is Stone Cold Steve Austin walking in as the biggest bad ass in the company, walking over Shawn Michaels and walking out as the WWF Champion.

The Light Heavyweight division was in showcase mode in this brief but fast paced contest. The Champion was on the back foot for much of the match; and understandably so with his five challengers; but still stood tall at the end of the night. The match ended following a rapid sequence of finishing moves; Storm had TAKA locked in the Canadian Maple Leaf before Funk knocked him out of the ring with a dropkick – Aguila then sent Funk out of the ring with a Flying Head Scissors. Christopher unceremoniously shoved Aguila through the ropes but turned straight into a Superkick from Liger – the Champion finished things off with a picture perfect Shooting Star Press and miraculously retained his title against all the odds.

Despite his size, Helmsley was forced to play the little man in this battle against the former WWF Champion. The Mastodon started like a house on fire as he took the fight to Triple H early on; and it took the European Champion several minutes before getting a chance to fight back. But once he did, it was clear that Triple H was determined to win at all costs; he used an eye rake; attempted to uncover the top turnbuckle and use every single underhand tactic in the book. But this was all for nought as the massive Vader turned the tide of the match with a big splash in the corner – and this was just the beginning of the end for the European Champion. Helmsley was on wobbly legs as he attempted one last fight back but a scoop slam was quickly followed by the Vader Bomb in the corner to give us a new European Champion.

The Mastodon is handed the gold and heads up to the second rope to celebrate. As Vader encourages the crowd to go wild, Helmsley rolls out of the ring and grabs a steel chair. Triple H cracks the big man across the back of the legs and sends him crumbling to the canvas. Helmsley continues to work over Vader and doesn’t give him a chance to fight back – he may have lost the match and his title; but Triple H is the only man to walk away from the ring under his own steam. Referees eventually pull Helmsley away; but the damage is done and Vader has to be helped to the back.

Backstage, The Rock is standing alone as he conducts an interview with himself as he claims that nobody else is worthy of standing in the presence of the “People’s Champion”. The Rock asks himself why he has to defend his coveted Intercontinental Championship a man so clearly beneath him and against a man he has already defeated so clinically just a few weeks ago. The Rock’s answer is simple; as the Champion of the People and the Greatest Intercontinental Champion of all time – everyone is beneath The Rock; and in order to continue to showcase his skills he will have to keep beating people the calibre of Cactus Jack until scientists can develop the technology to clone The Rock and give him some real competition. The Rock claims he will face himself in the main event of WrestleMania 30 and it will be the greatest match of all-time; if you smell what the Rock is cookin’.

Elsewhere, Kevin Kelly is standing by with the number one contender Cactus Jack – who is clearly more emotional than usual. Jack tells the Rock that he can continue running his mouth and disrespecting this industry – because after tonight, all he will have is his words. Cactus will punish the Rock and give him a beating in order to avenge his good friend Terry Funk and bring respect back to the Intercontinental Championship and the WWF; Bang Bang!

Cactus is eager to start the match and get his revenge on the cocky Champion; but The Rock does everything he can to stifle any momentum. He would head outside the ring to buy time; hide behind the referee to stop an attack – the Champion was firmly going against his words and not showcasing any of his in-ring talent. Eventually the games caught up to Rocky and Cactus finally got his hands on him and gave him a good old-fashioned beating. The pair spilled out of the ring; over the barricade into the front row – and then back inside again. After his stalling tactics early, the Rock was forced to fight back and gave Cactus as good as he got as the wild brawling continued.

Cactus built momentum though and looked to be heading to victory until Rocky pulled the referee in front of a wild charging Cactus. The Rock used this opportunity to head to the outside and grab the Intercontinental title belt from ringside. Rocky lined Cactus up; but a quick kick to the gut stopped the Champion in his tracks – Cactus dropped The Rock with a Double Arm DDT and made the cover. The crowd counted to three; but the referee was still out and unable to make the count himself. Cactus shook the referee; but as he was distracted it allowed The Rock to utilise the title belt and clobber Cactus in the head.

The Rock made the cover and the referee slowly got into position – he counted one, two and as his hand came down for the three – Cactus just got a shoulder up. The Rock was furious and got right in the face of the official; Cactus got back to his feet – but as he swung wildly; Rocky caught an arm and planted him with the Rock Bottom to steal the victory and retain the Intercontinental Championship.

We once again go back to Kevin Kelly who is standing by with the WWF Champion – Shawn Michaels. The Heart Break Kid has got his game face on and tells Kevin that tonight, all the build-up and all the talking is for nothing – all that matters is what happens in the ring between two of the best wrestlers that this business has ever seen. Tonight, the better man will win and the better man will leave WrestleMania as the WWF Champion – end of story.

As we get ready for our next match, “Iron” Mike Tyson makes his entrance – the former Heavyweight Champion of the World is in the corner of Ken Shamrock; the Baddest Man on the Planet and the World’s Most Dangerous Man unite.

Shamrock was in fighting mood from the bell but Owen was more interested in trash talking with Tyson on the outside. Iron Mike was happy to engage with Owen; but before the Black Hart could walk out on a second fight – Shamrock forced him into the ring and the match finally got underway. The pair put on a clinic in the ring once they finally began wrestling; with the match going back and forth with both men having spells in control and spells on the back foot. Shamrock eventually took the initiative and begun throwing Owen around the ring with suplex after suplex – much to the delight of Tyson at ringside. Shamrock gets himself into the zone; and after one final belly-to-belly suplex – he grabs hold of Owen’s ankle. Hart manages to wriggle free but as he kicks Shamrock away; the referee takes an elbow to the face and falls to the canvas. Shamrock puts Hart down again and puts in the Ankle Lock for the second time – he wrenches back and Owen taps.

Shamrock keeps the hold on but Tyson shouts from ringside that he needs to wake up the referee. Shamrock reluctantly lets go and helps the referee back to his feet – this distraction proved to be the key opening for Hart; who nailed Shamrock with a nasty low blow. Owen rolled Shamrock up and quickly transitioned into the Sharpshooter – with Shamrock locked up in the centre of the ring with nowhere to go; he was eventually forced to tap out to give Owen an undeserved victory despite submitting just minutes earlier.

Owen celebrates his underhand victory like it was an Olympic Gold; he rolls the beaten Shamrock out of the ring and challenges Tyson. Owen calls him into the ring and Iron Mike obliges; the pair square up to each other and trash talk each other. Owen tries to take a cheap shot as he steps back and throws a punch; but Tyson blocks it and throws a counter right hook that sends Owen crumbling to the canvas unconscious.

We head backstage to the WWF Owner Vince McMahon who announces that he has a surprise for everyone tomorrow night on Raw. Vince promises that tomorrow will be a huge night for the company and promises that whoever wins the main event tonight, here at WrestleMania, McMahon wants them to be the face of his company and be a true Corporate Champion.

A video airs promoting our next contest; and we head all the way back to Badd Blood: In Your House 18 for the debut of Kane. The video unfolds showing the back and forth between the two brothers with the Undertaker eventually agreeing to fight back leading to this clash here at WrestleMania.

There was a certain big fight feel in the air as the brothers stood in the centre of the ring staring a hole through each other. The intense staredown ended when Bearer shouted to Kane to strike his brother; but the Undertaker got his shot in first and took the fight to him with rights and lefts. The Phenom gave Kane a beating for much of the early minutes of the match; not letting his little brother get much of a shot in. The Phenom really put the sword to Kane, hitting him with a number of power moves – hitting a Fallaway Slam, followed by a big DDT and a rapid elbow drop – but the Big Red Machine simply refused to stay down.

The beating however, continued – as the Undertaker worked Kane over in the corner; hit the Snake Eyes and followed up with a big boot – making the cover; but Kane powered out before two. The Phenom then walked the top rope and hit the Old School before stalking Kane for a Chokeslam – the Undertaker grabbed him by the throat and planted him with a huge Chokeslam. Undertaker made the cover but Kane was once again up at two. The Phenom began looking increasingly frustrated – but he quickly regrouped and signalled for the end by running his thumb across his throat.

Undertaker grabbed Kane and lifted him up – before dropping him on his head with a huge Tombstone Piledriver. With the crowd shocked at the ease of which the Phenom dropped his brother; the referee began to count. But the ease of which Undertaker hit the Piledriver was nothing compared to the ease of which Kane powered out. The crowd sat in stunned confusion; as did the Undertaker – but Kane was back up and straight onto the offensive.

The Big Red Machine hit a series of rights and lefts and planted Undertaker with a backbreaker. Kane followed up with a flying clothesline and went straight for a Chokeslam – putting the Undertaker down for a two count. It’s now Kane’s turn to single for the end; he hoists the Phenom up and drops him on his with a Tombstone Piledriver! The referee counts his shoulder’s down but the crowd go ballistic when the Undertaker somehow manages to raise a shoulder before the three.

Bearer screams from ringside and tells Kane to Tombstone his brother again; the Big Red Machine obliges – but the Phenom reverses and hits Kane with a Tombstone of his own.

Kane kicks out and sits back up; Undertaker looks in his eyes and tells him to just stay down. The Big Red Machine grabs him by the throat; but Undertaker reciprocates and grabs Kane by the throat. The pair stand in the ring; with neither man refusing to let go; until Kane cracks Undertaker with a vicious uppercut to separate the pair. They do battle again; but Kane overpowers his brother and once again gets him up for the Tombstone. The Big Red Machine drops the Phenom for the second time and covers;

Kane struggles to pull himself back up to his feet as the bell sounds; the crowd sit in stunned silence as Paul Bearer shouts at ringside that the Big Red Machine has finally slayed the Phenom once and for all. Kane performs his signature taunt in the ring and sends fire bursting out of all four turnbuckles but as the Big Red Machine and Bearer begin to taunt the Undertaker in the ring – the arena is plunged into darkness. After several seconds, the lights return but Kane and Bearer are all alone in the ring with the Phenom nowhere to be seen – Bearer looks concerned but convinces himself that the Undertaker has simply gone to hell.

A video package airs ahead of our main event; we see Shawn Michaels capturing the WWF Championship in controversial fashion at the Survivor Series – and see his title defences since; including the brief run of Vader. We then cut to the end of the Royal Rumble match as Steve Austin shocks the world to become the number one contender; we then see him defeat Owen Hart inside a Steel Cage at No Way Out of Texas: In Your House 20. We end with Michaels and Austin on a collision course with the WWF Championship on the line.

Both men circle to begin the match; but once they engage the battle is relentless throughout. Michaels and Austin go back and forth throwing wild punches but neither man backs down – HBK charges at the Rattlesnake; but he ducks and sends Michaels tumbling over the top rope. Stone Cold follows him out to the outside and the brawling continues; but Michaels sends Austin crashing into the barrier to take control.

Michaels works Austin over all over the ringside area; he sends the Rattlesnake flying over the announce table into JR and King. HBK climbs onto the table and drags Austin to his feet and looks for a suplex; but Austin fights back and knocks HBK off the table. Austin jumps onto Michaels with a Lou Thesz Press and rains down with right hands. Austin throws up the middle fingers and the crowd respond with a huge pop.

Austin throws HBK over the barricade and into the front row; he dives in after him and the pair brawl through the crowd. They go back and forth for several minutes in the crowd; but as they tumble back into the ringside area it is Michaels who is in control. They head back to the announce tables; but this time HBK takes Stone Cold up and sends him crashing through the Spanish announce table. Michaels isn’t done there though; he grabs Austin by the head and slams him face first into the ring steps; the ring apron and the ring post – before sending the Rattlesnake back into the ring.

Michaels covers but despite the damage; Austin quickly kicks out – the pair continue to brawl as they get back into the ring. Michaels sends Austin into the cover; charges – but eats a boot to the face. Austin opens up a can of whoop ass on Michaels in the corner; knocks him down to the canvas and stomps a mud hole into HBK.

Stone Cold is firmly in control; but a kick to the gut is caught by HBK – who spins Austin around, pushes him back and connects with a beautiful Sweet Chin Music. Austin falls to the canvas but so does HBK; clearly with nothing left to make the cover. Michaels crawls towards the challenger; he drapes an arm over him.

Austin gets a shoulder up and the fans go crazy; there’s life in the Rattlesnake still! Michaels smells blood; he heads to the corner and tunes up the band for a second time. Stone Cold staggers back to his feet; Michaels swings – but Austin catches his foot! The Rattlesnake flips HBK the middle finger; kicks him in the gut – and nails Michaels with the Stone Cold Stunner!

Mighty fine Mania there, man! Austin winning isn't a very huge surprise, but Kane's win was definitely a major departure from IRL. I will be very interested to see where that leads, though it isn't a bad thing as it puts an end on Taker's "streak" before it even started getting notoriety. Kane definitely needed the main event level rub, though really either of the brothers could have picked up the win. Kinda surprised that Owen won even with Tyson in the corner of Ken, but again not a bad decision at all... and Mike gets some heat by knocking Hart out to please the crowd. Also can't wait to see where 3H goes from here, as dropping the Euro title to Vader opens him up to a wide variety of places to go in the future. All in all, a very good show!

This win here legitimises him and makes him a threat to everyone - if he can beat Taker at Mania, he can beat anyone! The night after WrestleMania began with the WWF Owner Vince McMahon announcing that he will officially present the new WWF Champion and promising that tonight, one way or another – he will have his Corporate Champion and face of the industry. [74] As the night rolled on we saw that new champion Steve Austin arrive – and he wasn’t looking particularly corporate as he wore his jean shorts and t-shirt, and drinking a beer. [77] We visited the office of Mr. McMahon, but he wasn’t alone – as Owen Hart arrived for a clandestine conversation that the cameras didn’t catch. [72]

As we reached the end of Raw is War, it was time for the big presentation – as Mr. McMahon introduced the new WWF Champion and promptly handed Stone Cold a new look Championship belt. McMahon was trying his best to impress the Rattlesnake and convince him to become the Corporate Champion he desired. After much thought and deliberation – Austin told McMahon to go to hell, Stone Cold plays by his own rules. McMahon is taken back slightly, but he clearly has a Plan B as he tells Austin that he will have to initiate that plan tonight in order to get the Champion he can be proud of. [85]

It turns out that Plan B was a Big Red Monster – as Kane arrived through hell fire and brimstone. The big man is fresh off the slaying of his brother the Undertaker at Wrestlemania and his reward was announced by McMahon – as Kane is the new number one contender. Austin will make his first defence against Kane at Fully Loaded: In Your House on April 26th on pay-per-view. Raw is War went off the air as Stone Cold attempted to square up to the monster – but he was met with fire from all four corners of the ring. [90]

The other half of last night’s WWF Championship match was the first man to step inside the ring on Raw is War – as former Champion Shawn Michaels had an apology for the fans. The Heart Break Kid regretted his attitude over the last year and claims that his rivalry with Bret Hart had got the better of him and made him into a person he didn’t want to be. Michaels promised to bring back the old HBK – the HBK that achieved his boyhood dream by winning the Iron Man match at WrestleMania XII. [81] Before we could go any further with HBK’s apology his DX stable mate Triple H stormed the ring and attacked Michaels from behind with a steel chair. Helmsley worked over Michaels’ knee before putting an exclamation mark on the beatdown with a Pedigree onto the steel chair. Helmsley told his former partner that the old HBK is too weak and that time is passing him by. [60] Later in the night, Helmsley reiterated these words with Kevin Kelly – claiming that HBK is weak and needs putting down. He also had praise for his fellow DX members the New Age Outlaws for their actions during the night. [76]

OUTLAWS TOE THE PARTY LINE

In what was to be the final match of the night, the new WWF European Champion Vader made his first successful defence of his title against Billy Gunn. The Mastodon controlled much of the match but was visibly suffering from his knee injury suffered post-match against Triple H the night before – but it was a miscommunication between Gunn and the Road Dogg that led to a Vader Bomb and victory. [9:48 / 55] It was after the match where the main talking point happened though, as Vader was once again attacked while celebrating his victory. The Outlaws picked up where Helmsley left off 24 hours prior; as the pair worked over Vader’s injured knee until officials pulled them away. [61]

THE DARK CARNIVAL ARRIVES

It was an inconspicuous tag team match that saw the debut of the Dark Carnival – as The Hardy Boys defeated The Godwinns in the opening contest. [2:51 / 41] After the bell however, the lights went out and the maniacal laugh of Vampiro filled the arena. The gothic, face-painted cult leader was joined by a huge man who was quickly identified as the former King of the Ring – Mabel, under the new name of Viscera. The huge behemoth took little time to brutally attack both Matt and Jeff Hardy under the instruction of the Dark Carnival’s leader. Vampiro simply sat on the top turnbuckle as Viscera stacked both men up and hit them with a big splash. Vampiro announced the arrival of the Dark Carnival and promised to continue to spread his message of hate until the whole WWF was under the cover of a dark cloud. [61]

CAMP CORNETTE HAS A NEW TARGET

James E. Cornette told us all how his team were robbed at WrestleMania – but tonight he promised that Dustin Rhodes would make amends as he fought Faarooq. [38] The pair had a good back and forth battle – but it was ruined by Jeff Jarrett and his guitar, leading to the disqualification. [7:07 / 54] The two-on-one beatdown continued after the bell, as Cornette directed traffic – but it didn’t last long as the former Flash Funk, Too Cold Scorpio hit the ring to save his good friend and drive Camp Cornette from the ring. [40]

BLACKJACK BEATDOWN

Just 24-hours after turning his back on his partner a new look Bradshaw was in fine form as he made light work of Al Snow – utilising his deadly Clothesline for the victory. [3:51 / 40] Bradshaw talked about how he was much better than Barry Windham and that he was fed up of being held back – this drew the ire of Windham; who hit the ring and went straight for his former partner. The pair brawled in the ring, before Bradshaw high tailed it and ran off to the back, choosing to fight another day. [39]

STAY AWAY FROM MY WIFE

After victory last night at his first WrestleMania, Val Venis kept the momentum rolling with victory over Aguila thanks to his patented Money Shot. [4:27 / 30] But his momentum was abruptly stopped as Marc Mero hit the ring and gave Venis the TKO. Mero promised his revenge, and told Venis to keep away from his wife – last night was the last time he will flirt with Sable. [52]

THE REST

The night began with still photos highlighted the big events of last night’s WrestleMania. [75] The Raw is War intro video [77] was followed by a quick discussion by our announce team of Jim Ross and Jerry Lawler. [59] It was announced that the WWF would be heading to England for Mayhem in Manchester this Saturday night. [77]

OH: Kevin – I’ve said it before and I’ll keep on saying it until everybody gets it. Ken Shamrock has been using my family name to get himself over for far too long now. The son of a bitch has been trying to take my spot ever since my family gave his punk ass a break. I kicked his ass at WrestleMania and I’ll keep kicking his ass until he’s gone for good.

KK: Ok, it seems we’ve touched a nerve there – let’s change pace a little and talk about Monday Night on Raw is War. What exactly were you talking to Vince McMahon about?

OH: Kevin, I could tell you – but I’ll be honest; what we discussed on Monday has nothing to do with you and nothing to do with these stupid people. When the time is right for you to know, I’m sure Mr. McMahon will let you all in on our secret. There’s no way I’m giving you the scoop and there’s not a chance I’m telling anyone until the time is right.

After winning in tag team action on Raw is War, Jeff Hardy defeated Phineas I. Godwinn [2:54 / 34] and Matt Hardy defeated Henry O. Godwinn. Yeah I've tried a new format after taking a few weeks off to re-charge my batteries. I think I will keep pay-per-views in the old format as they will warrant the extra detail but for tv I think this recap style works well. Hopefully it works well and allows me to keep updating with some regularity.
