Instead, Cage will be joining nine BFG Series failures in a Gauntlet for the Points. A pitiful attempt at someone else gaining my championship at Bound For Glory in October." Christian Cage: "Yeah, you see, while the two leaders in the Bound For Glory Series will face off for 15 points in the main event at No Surrender, I will manage to eliminate nine other competitors and gain 20 POINTS! And jump out to top of the BFG Series. First thing's first though, I'll beat Jeff Hardy for some points in tonight's main event." Kane: "Abyss, I've told you before.. I'm the real monster here in TNA. The Devil himself sent me. I was born in the blazes of Hell, and I will unleash the anger and pain of Hell on you, Brutus Magnus, Cody Rhodes, and Hurricane Helms at No Surrender." Terrapin and Rompo just look menacingly into the camera whilst D-Ross begins to speak. Darren Rosser: "Myself, Terrapin, and--" Rycklon Rompo snatches the microphone. Brutus Magnus, a 'future main event star' will see yet another setback. Modern Day Heroes, both coming from where the five of us come from, will rethink their decision to not align with us. This match was, in fact, the match of the night. These two teams put out all the stops to earn some more points in the BFG Series. The TNA World Tag Team Champions continued to show their merit as champions, though this was not a title defense; Matt Morgan & Rhino continued to show excellent chemistry as partners. After almost thirteen minutes, the big finish came when John Hennigan went for the Flying Chuck on Morgan, who ducked, and clotheslined both Hennigan and himself to the outside. The two legal men were Samoa Joe and Rhino, and these two powerhouses faced off, allowing Rhino to escape the Muscle Buster and land the Gore for what some would call an upset. With 32 points now, Matt Morgan is guaranteed to be fighting for 15 points in the No Surrender main event. In a good match with average heat, Matt Morgan & Rhino def. Rising Force after the Gore on Joe from Rhino at 12:43. Rhino scores 7 points. Matt Morgan scores 4 points. The two X-Division stars fought it out for over six minutes in a solid bout before Fallen Angel landed the Angel's Wings and then started yelling at London, who got up from the commentating booth to yell back. This allowed Barreta enough time to recover, with Fallen Angel turning around into the Dudebuster DDT off of the ropes for the upset. Angel was not happy. In a solid bout, Trent Barreta def. Kong was extremely determined, however, and started Velvet down as she pinned Angelina Love with the Awesome Bomb before Love could even tag out. In a solid match without much heat, Awesome Kong def. The Beautiful People after the Awesome Bomb on Love. Each competitor had his partner at ringside, though none of them got involved. Hurricane Helms from Modern Day Heroes, Rycklon Rompo of Sick & Twisted, Chris Sabin from the MotorCity Machine Guns, and Vince Kage of the Kaged Animals. With MCMG facing KA at No Surrender, and MDH and S&T facing off on opposite teams at No Surrender, there was quite a grudge seen here. Rompo was cleaning house in the early moments, but was soon double teamed by Kage and Helms. Sabin played up his antics by landing low blows and cheap shots throughout the match. After almost seven minutes, Hurricane Helms landed the Nightmare on Helms Street on Rompo, followed by Kage landing a Moonsault on the big man. Before Helms and Kage could turn their attention to each other, Chris Sabin came in and knocked them both of of the ring with a dropkick (one foot hitting each of them). He then covered the big man to steal the victory. In a solid match without much heat, Chris Sabin def. Vince Kage, Hurricane Helms, and Rycklon Rompo after stealing the pin on Rycklon Rompo. Though the Indian and Filipino competitors (respectively) were impressive, there were no much for the always-impressive tag team work of Generation Me. More Bang For Your Buck put this one away, pinning Sonjay Dutt. In a solid match without much heat, Generation Me def. Sonjay Dutt & Zema Ion with More Bang For Your Buck on Sonjay at 5:31. If Styles' team wins, he will be in the main event of No Surrender against Matt Morgan for fifteen points. The same is to say if Zane Nosux's team wins, however. The other competitors, with the exception of Jeff Hardy in the main event, have no chance of doing so, and will instead be in the Gauntlet for the Points regardless. Styles and Nosux both fought determined to get the win. The match was pretty good, though, and came to a close in a big way. Zane Nosux and AJ Styles seemed to have not settled their differences, especially after last week's match, and brawled at ringside, bashing each other's heads on the steel guard rails. Inside the ring, legal man Kenny King went for the tag to Bobby Roode, who jumped off of the ropes, once again leaving King out to dry. The tired Kenny King turned around hopelessly into the Trouble in Paradise from Kofi Kingston, who gained the victory for himself and his team. This leaves AJ Styles with 30 points, clinching him a temporary spot in the No Surrender main event, unless Jeff Hardy scores a submission victory against Christian Cage tonight, in which case Styles and Hardy must fight in a tiebreaker at No Surrender before the Gauntlet and the main event. In a good match with average heat, AJ Styles, Kofi Kingston, and Mr. Anderson def. Zane Nosux, Bobby Roode, and Kenny King after the Trouble in Paradise on Kenny King in 12:28. He says Terrapin has beat him in a couple matches previous, but that won't matter with the determination he has tonight and on Sunday. There was a clear lack of psychology on display, and it brought the match down. Abyss proved he was indeed more determined than ever, he finally managed to beat Kane's enforcer with the Black Hole Slam at 14:47. In a good match with average heat, Abyss def. It was a good match and opportunity for Jeff Hardy to face Matt Morgan in the No Surrender main event. It was also, on the flipside, an opportunity for Christian Cage to pick up momentum heading into the Gauntlet for the Points for even more points in Sunday's pre-main event. These two men put out all the stops, showcasing their history as opponents. Highlights: -Christian Cage took a Whisper in the Wind but kicked out before the two count. -Jeff Hardy landed a beautiful Plancha over the top rope, but Christian moved out of the way, sending Hardy into the steel guard rail. -Christian landed the fan favorite Pendulum Kick in the corner to a good reception, but Hardy recovered fast and caught him with a dropkick before he could land a flying Forearm. -The finish came at 18:30 when Hardy landed the Twist of Fate and went up top for the Swanton Bomb but Christian managed to roll out of the way. As Hardy recovered, Christian went for the Unprettier, but Hardy managed to escape and go for the Twist of Fate once more. Christian reversed it this time, landing the Unprettier for real this time. In a good match with average heat, Christian Cage def. Jeff Hardy with teh Unprettier at 18:30. Christian Cage scores 7 points. The very large female competitor tossed the champion around for the majority of the match, though Velvet got some good shots in. The finish came when Kong had Sky up for the Awesome Bomb, but former TNA Knockouts Champion Gail Kim slid into the ring. Kong tossed Velvet aside and got in Gail's face, insisting she not get involved. Velvet managed to land the Double Knee Backbreaker on Kong as she was distracted, and pinned her for the victory. Sky didn't look happy with Gail after the match, however. In a solid match without much heat, Velvet Sky def. Awesome Kong in 7:41 with the Double Knee Backbreaker following a distraction from Gail Kim. He then climbed inside the ring to join London, Max, and Jeremy. A very angry Paul London watched his friend Trent Barreta being helped to the back, and was even more angry when the announcer declared Fallen Angel would be taking Trent's place in the match-up. Segment Rating: 29 The match went on, however, and started off with both members of Generation Me joining Paul London in an attack on Fallen Angel. As the match rolled on, the four competitors were all fighting each other. A trading of punches and kicks between Max and Jeremy Buck was exciting as well. The match came to a close at 11:43 when Jeremy jumped over the top rope on Max, leaving Fallen Angel to go for the Angel's Wings on London. London reversed the attempt, and managed to land the Shooting Star Press for the victory. In a match with good action but not much heat, Paul London def. Hurricane went for the Chokeslam, but Kane gripped him around the throat and slammed him down with a proper Chokeslam. Eliminated: Hurricane Helms Abyss came in next, obviously upset his teammate was eliminated so early. He and Kane brawled for a bit before Kane gained control and tagged in Rycklon Rompo. The jacked up Guyanese Demon took it to Abyss for a couple minutes, before Rompo got cocky and gestured for Magnus and Rhodes to fit him as well. The three-on-one was far too much for Rompo, who was put away with the Black Hole Slam. Eliminated: Rycklon Rompo Looking to avenge his partner, Darren Rosser came in next. After only a few short minutes, Magnus landed the Tormentum to eliminate D-Ross. Eliminated: Darren Rosser Terrapin burst into the ring and beat Magnus down in the corner, causing Rhodes to climb in the ring. This only led to choas, with Kane fighting Abyss on the outside. Terrapin hoisted both Magnus and Rhodes up on his shoulders and landed a Double TerraRizer. He pinned them one after the other. He jumps in and lands a few boots to Hennigan and Hardy as they are down. Rhino continues to toss Anderson around the ring, almost tossing him out. He jumped into the ring with a nice Crossbody on Roode, and turned around to knock Rhino down with the Trouble in Paradise. Kofi then landed the Boom Drop on Roode, but Hardy kicked him to knock him down afterward. Hardy and Kofi traded kicks, before Anderson tried to get into the fray. This led to Hardy landing a Hurricanrana to eliminate Anderson. Unfortunately, his lack of luck continued as Rhino managed to land the Gore and then toss King right out of the ring. Rhino was then taken to the mat by Kingston and Hardy, while Roode fought with Hennigan in the corner. Joe came in like a house of fire, taking down Roode to save Hennigan from elimination right away, and then landing a few double clotheslines to take down Hardy and Kingston multiple times. He then tossed landed a suplex to toss Hardy out of the ring (seemingly with ease). Just as he turned around, Rhino clotheslined Hennigan off of the ropes and out to the floor. A very angered Samoa Joe unleashed rage, landing the Muscle Buster on Rhino before the next entrant came down. Christian slid into the ring and landed a few punches to Kofi, who was down on the mat. Bobby Roode went for the Payoff on Joe, who responded by tossing him clear over the top rope and out of the ring. He came down to the ring as slow as possible, arguing with fans and letting his ego show. Just as he got inside the ring, Kofi Kingston was thrown to the outside by Rhino. Kofi landed on Nosux and looked to recover before his feet hit the floor, but Nosux hooked him up and landed the Package Piledriver onto the entrance ramp before finally getting in the ring himself. Eliminated: Kofi Kingston In the ring: Rhino, Samoa Joe, Christian Cage, Zane Nosux The fans yelled "JOE'S GONNA KILL YOU!" as the final four circled the ring. This caused the heels to all turn their attention to the Samoan. Joe try to fight them off, and managed to push them back. Rhino ran at him for the Gore, but Joe moved out of the way and pulled the ropes down, causing Rhino to run himself right out of the match-up. Eliminated: Rhino In the ring: Samoa Joe, Christian Cage, Zane Nosux The final three to enter the match became the final three men in the match, and they all traded respective blows. Joe managed to get Christian down to the mat, and proceeded to stomp away at him. Nosux took advantage of the determined Joe, tossing him right out of the ring. Eliminated: Samoa Joe In the ring: Christian Cage, Zane Nosux The fans booed like crazy as the man without an army and Fall of Entertainment's own were the final two men in the ring. Nosux tried to toss Christian Cage out of the ring, but Christian fought back. Christian tried for the Unprettier but Nosux pushed him against the ropes. Nosux ran at Christian, who ducked and tilted the ropes, knocking Nosux out onto the apron. Nosux gripped Christian for a suplex, only for Christian to escape the attempt and dropkick Nosux right off of the ropes and to the floor for the win. It definitely was the match of the night. Highlights: -AJ Styles landed a nice dropkick to knock Matt Morgan off of the apron and into the guard rail. The fans yelled in Morgan's ears. -Morgan landed a good Sidewalk Slam that seemed to shake the ring. -Morgan landed his signature Leapfrog Body Guillotine with Styles on the ropes. -Styles landed the Pele Kick to a great reception from the crowd, but Morgan recovered fast and landed a Chokeslam. He only received a two count. -AJ took Morgan off of the top rope with a Frankensteiner, and gained a close two-count. -Styles landed a discus clothesline which didn't seem to phase Morgan much, allowing him to land a discus clothesline of his own, knocking Styles down. -Morgan was dropkicked out of the ring, allowing Styles to land a springboard Forearm smash on him to take him down. -Morgan was up in the center of the ring, with Styles on the ropes. Styles sprang in with a Moonsault, stopping to catch big Morgan with a Reverse DDT. -Styles garnered a close pin attempt with a Crucifix. -Morgan landed the Carbon Footprint but Styles managed to kick out. Styles landed the Styles Clash, but Morgan likewise kicked out. -The finish came after twenty-five minutes, when Styles went for a second Styles Clash, this time off of the top rope. Morgan managed to escape the attempt, and caught Styles in position to land an impressive Hellevator. AJ Styles did not kick out this time around, allowing Morgan to get the victory. Right away, Magnus, Carlito, Hero, Rhodes, Storm, Helms, and Sugar attacked the three members of Fall of Entertainment and backed them up into the corner. D-Ross struggled the most for survival, being the smallest of the three. Both Modern Day Heroes members managed to hoist D-Ross up and over for the first elimination. Eliminated: Darren Rosser The elimination of his tag team partner caused Rompo (who has officially dropped "Rycklon" from the front of his name) to go on a rampage. Rompo pushed his attackers backward, freeing himself and Terrapin from the corner. He tossed Chris Hero out, then the debuting Sugar Dunkerton, and Carlito Colon. Cody Rhodes and Hurricane Helms tried to toss him out, only for Rompo to propel them both over the top rope. Rhodes managed to hang on, whilst his partner tumbled to the floor. Eliminated: Chris Hero, Sugar Dunkerton, Carlito Colon, Hurricane Helms The match rolled on with a heavy Crimson being eliminated by a combination of The Terrapin and Rompo, as well as Brutus Magnus being surprised by a Superkick from James Storm to be eliminated. Homicide was eliminated by a combination from the MotorCity Machine Guns as well. Eliminated: Crimson, Brutus Magnus, Homicide In the ring: Cody Rhodes, Alex Shelley, Chris Sabin, Rompo, James Storm, Tommaso Ciampa, The Terrapin The two fan favorites, Rhodes and Storm, landed a Last Call/Disaster Kick combination, followed by Tommaso Ciampa clotheslining Rompo out of the ring. An enraged Terrapin eliminated Ciampa as a result. This only led to Shelley and Sabin dropkicking the big Terrapin out of the ring next. Eliminated: Rompo, Tommaso Ciampa, The Terrapin Final Four: Cody Rhodes, Alex Shelley, Chris Sabin, James Storm The Guns turned around fast, taking it right to Rhodes and Storm respectively. Sabin took himself and Rhodes out onto the apron, where the two began trading blows. Shelley ducked a Superkick from Storm, however, that landed right to the jaw of Cody Rhodes, thus eliminating him. Shelley then tossed Storm right out of the match. Eliminated: Cody Rhodes, James Storm Final Two: Alex Shelley and Chris Sabin Sabin climbed back inside the ring, and both Guns motioned putting a title belt around their waists. Shelley then yelled at Sabin, telling him to get out of the ring. Sabin looked confused, thinking the two were going to fight it out. Sabin refused to climb out, causing Shelley to slap him across the face. Sabin instantly became pissed, and went for the Cradle Shock on Shelley. Shelley escaped the attempt, and Sabin ran at him, only for Shelley to dip the ropes and eliminate his tag team partner to win the match. Eliminated: Chris Sabin Winner: Alex Shelley Alex Shelley won a battle royal at 10:15 to win the TNA Television Championship. Hardy and Anderson came to play tonight, though they faced the big change within the excellent tag team chemistry of their opponents. The finish of the match, which was somewhat surprising, came when Rhino removed the turnbuckle cover to expose the steel underneath. He tried to slam Hardy onto it, but Hardy reversed the attempt. Rhino ran at Hardy for the Gore, but Hardy leaped over him, and Rhino rammed his head right into the exposed turnbuckle. Hardy landed the Swanton Bomb for the win. Rather than being upset, Matt Morgan checked on his partner's well-being after the match. In a good match with average heat, Jeff Hardy and Mr. Anderson def. Matt Morgan & Rhino after the Swanton Bomb on Rhino at 12:26. Jeff Hardy scores 7 points. Mr. Anderson scores 4 points. Nosux looked to gain more points after recent setbacks in the Series, to keep himself afloat. Joe, on the other hand, looked to gain an advantage due to being behind in the BFG Series altogether. Ultimately, the finish came when Nosux had Joe locked in the Sharpshooter for the second time in the match, but Joe grabbed the ropes and locked Nosux in the Coquina Clutch. Zane Nosux passed out, granted Joe the much-needed submission victory.[/i] In a good match with average heat, Samoa Joe def. Zane Nosux by submission with the Coquina Clutch at 12:51. These two had great chemistry as opponents, and this one came out as a bit of a grudge match. Though they fought in the ring for fourteen and a half minutes, it appeared Styles' loss to Morgan at No Surrender set him off. Roode was able to cheat his way to a much needed submission victory, hitting Styles' arm with a chair when the referee was knocked down. He locked in the Fujiwara Armbar for the submission win. In a good match with average heat, Bobby Roode def. AJ Styles by submission with the Fujiwara Armbar after cheating. Bobby Roode scores 10 points.
