Big Roguey
I tried to download the Thunderverse this morning; however, upon doing so, it said that the file may be malicious. Has anyone else seen that? I'd love to look at the database again; however, don't want to run the risk of bogging my computer down with any viruses. File's fine, it's maybe sendspace that is causing the issues.
Eisen-verse
File's fine, it's maybe sendspace that is causing the issues. Okay. Tech question. Can I get a virus from downloading from sendspace (or if the file is fine I should be okay)?
Big Roguey
Okay. Tech question. Can I get a virus from downloading from sendspace (or if the file is fine I should be okay)? The only way you'll get a virus is if you mis-click on one of the ads. http://i.imgur.com/ZoBZZEw.png If you click on the button I've drawn an arrow on, the file will download with no problems. Clicking on anything else may bring nasties (I use an adblocker so I only get the options in the screencap, I don't know if there are more without an adblocker)

Sigilistic
I've had the exact same problem. Picked up some nasty malware on my laptop and every virus scanner I can get my hands on has been unable to remove it.

MJStark
How's ThunderVerse Vice coming along? It's still coming along In all seriousness though, it's been a busy time for the team over the last three months: we've had births, weddings, holidays, festivals & just life pulling us all in different directions... but we're getting there, we are avoiding giving out even a vague release date though. It's a project that definitely will be finished, but it's also a much larger project than we have tackled to date once you factor in a full active database, plus all the champions between 1980 & the present day & all the Platinum active workers (reconditioned to their debut level) as future workers.... and that is just one aspect of the work!! So yeah, it'll be here eventually folks

We're in the middle of the project just now, mainly retooling bios and such for the already existing workers on top of creating the TVice specific workers. It's a meaty task. Lucky we're all carnivores. http://i.giphy.com/xPGkOAdiIO3Is.gif
Spud1305
Not sure if it's been brought up before, Keith Hanna's employment history shows that he's had 2 runs with the GBWF. The first from Sept 2002 until Sept 2007. The second shows from Aug 2007 until Mar 2014. I'm guessing the first one ended before Sept 2007? Off of the top of my head, not really. I'd say that area of wrestling is the "weakest" of the collective team's knowledge so resemblances to real world workers like Jun Kasai will be few and far between. Of course this is normally when a more senior member of the team than I comes in and tells me I'm entirely wrong.

I had a nice little LETHAL roster with a ThunderVerse resemblence guys...made it look almost like BJW
Lionhart
I noticed a lot of your charactrs resmble irl workers. Do you have a Jun Kasai resemblence in there? I would say Nobosuke Takabe is the character who looks the more like him. He has missing front teeth, scars on forehead and artificial blonde hair. I think It would be easy to make an alt, in order for Takabe to look even more like Kasai. (If it hasn't done before, I honestly don't know.) http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v197/gbasalmon/ThunderVerse/Workers/NobusukeTakabe.jpg http://puroresucentral.com/Images/kasai.jpg

Progwd
Is there a tutorial on how to make ThunderVerse type renders? I've been interested in creating some alts for my own saves, but I have no clue on how to do so.
Big Roguey
Is there a tutorial on how to make ThunderVerse type renders? I've been interested in creating some alts for my own saves, but I have no clue on how to do so. Brand New Renders I'm not an expert but you'll need Daz 3D and an understanding of how the program works/rendering works. There is a preset floating around somewhere to get the Thunderverse look but it's escaping me at the present. Alts 1) Take your base image 2) Place the piece you want to be on the image on the base image as a new layer 3) Erase the top layer until all you have is the piece you wanted remaining on the base layer. There is probably a more accurate way of wording that but that's the method I use and I've been reliably informed I'm rather okay at the alting process. Big Roguey
http://i.imgur.com/FsNCKar.png MERRY CHRISTMAS FROM TEAM THUNDERVERSE The link above will take you to a download link for a new pack of renders. We're still working on Thunderverse Vice but with it being some way away from completion, we all thought a little Christmas gift wouldn't hurt. The majority of the renders included are for modern day Thunderverse games, there are some Vice renders in the pack as well. Think of it as a continued little teaser. Well that's made Cloud James pushable which I suspect will completely change the way I play the game. Mixed feelings on a couple, but most of these are fantastic improvements, Crash/Burn/James/Jay Paro/Juggernaut/Monstrosity look particularly stunning. Markw
Any word on whether you guys are still aiming to release Vice for 2013 or will you be aiming to convert and work on it for 2016 instead?
Big Roguey
Any word on whether you guys are still aiming to release Vice for 2013 or will you be aiming to convert and work on it for 2016 instead? Current status is "ask again later". In all seriousness, we'll cross that bridge when we come to it. Personally speaking, I'm hoping we can get enough done where a release on both 2013 and 2016 isn't unlikely.

Big Roguey
Was that 80s T-Verse mod ever released? Not yet. It's a massive task and right now, we're still going through bios and title histories to get everything right. Also remember the team is only human. Other priorities and things do and have came up during the development cycle.
