What's Going on in YOUR Game?

Helio is an idiot.

He had the best fight I've seen in this game, beating Seth O'Breen in round 4 by leg kick TKO. Then in an all-Brazilian tournament (luckily I didn't set his title on the line as I didn't want it to count as title defense) he loses to Danilo Cherman, a very average grappler. Helio damaged his hand in round 1 and after that he would just initiate grappling himself (which he would lose) in the subsequent 2 rounds, eventually losing by split decision....

Also, Rav Kapur got handed his first loss by KO from Aleksander Ivanov at the end of 3rd round. That Russian is apparently very powerful, having beaten Emelianenko just before that.

Well, and Rashad Evans got KO'd by Quinton Jackson.

Well, this just happened:-

I'm grateful for the fix to low level companies' commercial ratings in the last patch but for the next patch is it possible to tweak their finances as well, so that they don't lose money every show?

Just give them extra money once you see the warning pop up if it bothers you so much. I'm sure more players want it to stay as it is, so the "child company" feature isn't completely useless unless you bankrupt them yourself through the editor.

I don't know what you mean. This was the company I was running and they just went bankrupt, ie game over. I didn't get any kind of warning that it was imminent either.

However, I was able to revert to the save kept in the "backup" folder, then gave myself an emergency cash injection via the Editor. So I was able to keep this save going.

You probably didn't see the warnings. Normally you get around three of them. What I meant was what you ended up doing. <img alt=";)" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/wink.png.686f06e511ee1fbf6bdc7d82f6831e53.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" />

Ha no idea this could happen until today

http://i1342.photobucket.com/albums/o771/JoAdriana/wmmak_zpswl3n3rhe.png

Showtime kick, pretty cool, creative striking of 96% helps <img alt=":D" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/biggrin.png.929299b4c121f473b0026f3d6e74d189.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /> didn't finish the fight with that kick (like real life actually) but did get the finish in the next round, he has only 65% takedown defense, so i don't expect him to hold the belt long... great run of wins though.

It's April 2004 and the rise for FLB has been slow. Only at MLR and the second smallest company in the world, yet they are making big money on PPV.

Lightweight

The lightweight scene has been dominated by the rise of Manoel Cabral who beat Helio by Armbar in the 1st round for the title at the end of 2002. Cabral has defended the title once against Helio in a rematch, which was a little more competitive Helio was pretty dominant in the fight, until Cabral took Helio down and slapped on a RNC in the fourth. UP next for Cabral is the new up and comer in Tarcisio Dantas. Both are 11-0 and 5-0 in FLB. While Helio goes back to build himself up again as he faces Juan Pablo Rique. Other than that, the rise of Adenor Togni has been surprising as he has beaten former FLB LW champ Branco and Paulo Roberto Bezerra as well. A win in his next match up against Caca de Andrade might just be enough for him to face the winner of Cabral/Dantas. Another surprise is the success of Watson Viana having won his last four fights by KO/TKO which includes former LW title challenger Anderson Desailly. Viana has Chico Feijo next. A big storyline is the Branco/Bezerra feud that's going on. Having fought each other twice, both men have a victory, Branco by majority decision and Bezerra by KO. Since their most recent bout, neither man has won with both men falling to Adenor Togni while Bezerra also has a loss top Grande Silveira, they face each other possibly for the final time in May of this year. Speaking of Silveira, he has been a perrenial top ten fighter for FLB. Having beaten such fighters as Bezerra, Juan Paulo Rique and Watson Viana, all of which have been good fighters in the division. Up for him next is Lazaro Campos, who has risen up the ranks to be a real dark horse. Although he's failed twice in the big match (losing to top 5 FLB stall worth Caca de Andrade twice), Campos gets another chance at the big fight to move into title contention once again.

Welterweight

As Manuel Silva was poached, the new champ was crowned in May of 2001 in a fight between Charles Stiles and Procopio Golias. The winner was Stiles and he has held it ever since, beating Lucas in his only defense. Next up for Stiles is Claudio Palacios who went 1-1 in 2001 (beating Teco but losing to Lucas) before leaving for GAMMA where he went 1-3 before resigning for FLB. After losing to Stiles, Lucas then lost again to Valdo Calamari, but luckily for Lucas, Calamari had been poached before the fight and left the company after the fight. Lucas got back to winning against up and comer Fabio Santoro. Next for Lucas is Procopio Golias. The WW division hasn't had quite as many storylines or fighters rising but there has been a few. We start with Mozart Pinto. Beating Hamilton Fonseca Junior (we'll get to him) in his first true test, he took another step up to face Procopio Golias, but he was too much, losing to him by unanimous decision. Pinto hasn't a match scheduled yet, but chances are he'll have a fight against somebody lower in the rankings then him. Hamilton Fonseca Junior has had a nice rise up the rankings, but hasn't quite broke the top 5 in the rankings losing the big match twice to Golias and Pinto, he got back on track with a win over Ruy Mendes de Rocha. Next is Oringenes Salgado. Next is Fabio Santoro who beat Golias pre-2001 and went on a tear with 5 more wins after that, beating Salgado, Semler, de Carvalho, Roncatto and Teco. However, he lost to Lucas in his most recent fight. Next for Santoro is Tristao Bosi.

Middleweight

Middleweight was dominated for two years by former MW champ Joaquim Fontes. Defending the belt five times, beating Zaco, Thais Antonio Taffarel, Leonardo da Costa and Mario de Souza. However, right before the de Souza, GAMMA came calling and Fontes was gone. With the title vacated, the fight for the title has been booked as former challenger for the belt, Leonardo da Costa and the newest star of the division Leandro Bastos. da Costa has struggled in the big fight as of late, losing to both Hormazabal and Fontes, he did however, beat Thais Antonio Taffarel so who knows if he'll show up. On the other hand, Bastos has been on a tear, winning his last five, including his last two in big wins over Humberto Falcao (we'll get to him) and Marinho Gomes. Who knows who'll come out on top? Next up is Thais Antonio Taffarel, who has really struggled of late. Still a big fighter in the division, Taffarel has gone 1-3 in his last 4 match ups, losing to da Costa, Fontes and Ramon da Silva Ramos (we'll get to him too), while he beat Mario de Souza in his last victory back in 2001. Next for Taffarel hasn't been set up yet, but it may just be something to get him back to winning ways. Next is Ramon da Silva Ramos, who has been climbing up the ranks. Despite a loss to Mario de Souza, da Silva Ramos boasts big wins over Pepe (we'll get to him aswell) and Taffarel. da Silva Ramos looks like the man to challenge the winner of da Costa/Bastos. The next man is a surprise in #5 ranked Pepe. Boasting the fact that he's the only man to have beaten Leandro Bastos in FLB, Pepe has gone 4-1 in his FLB career, da Silva Ramos being the only man to beat him. Nothing has been booked for Pepe yet, many fans are looking at Taffarel and Falcao as his next opponents. Marinho Gomes has also been pretty good so far. Going 3-2 in his last 5 fights, his two losses have been against top opposition in Leandro Bastos and Mario da Souza. Up next for Gomes is Humberto Falcao. Speaking of which, Humberto Falcao has been a real surprise in the division. Going 4-1 in his last five matches his only loss, to Leandro Bastos. At the moment, the MW division is wide open.

Light Heavyweight

With both Aldez and Villar being poached, the match between Carlos Dos Santos and Pedro Sousa became a world title match, CDS would go on to win it. However, he then lost it to superstar Nilton Fantoni, since then beating Marcos Maciel but losing to new number one contender, Gustavo Spagnol. Fantoni's win over Leandro Piquet got him the title fight and now he's the champ. Since winning the belt he has defended it just once, against a returning Alfonso Villar and next up is rising star Gustavo Spagnol. Let's talk about Villar next, after being poached, Villar returned to FLB over a year and half later to beat Leandro Piquet by TKO. Upon losing to Fantoni in a title fight, he got one back in the win column in a win over rising star Marcos Maciel. Speaking of Maciel, his rise to the top seems to have been thwarted by Dos Santos and Villar as he has lost his last two fights. Ranieri Fernanda is next for Maciel, in a huge match in terms of the division. Flavio Alberto is another fighter who has really climbed the rankings. 4-1 in his last 5 fights, Alberto has never had the big fight, and although a match isn't booked for him yet, surely he will get a big fight soon. Ranieri Fernanda has been a real surprise in the division going 4-0 in FLB. He hasn't quite faced the top dogs in the division yet but his fight with Marcos Maciel may just put Fernanda in the picture for the next title shot after the Fantoni/Spagnol fight. Although suffering a major spinal injury in 2001, Spagnol came back in 2003 with two wins and one was a big upset over former champ, Carlos Dos Santos. A big year for Spagnol made him number one contender. He is however, considered a huge underdog, but that is nothing new. After his injury, nobody expected Spagnol to come back like this, and now, he's got a chance at the belt.

Heavyweight

Heavyweight has been dominated by Murilo Satinho. Having beaten Elzo Alves Moura 3 times, he then moved on to the next opponent in Renato and submitted him. Up next for Satinho is Cristobal Galvao who after going pro in 2001, has gone 9-0 in his career and 3-0 in FLB beating big names such as Sergio do Vale and Julio Correa. He now faces the beast, but is considered to be a huge underdog, should be a fascinating encounter. Former Heavyweight champ Elzo Alves Moura has been the perennial number 2 in the heavyweight division with Satinho beating him three times. EAM also boasts wins over do Vale and Correa but he's too good for the rest of the division but not good enough for Satinho, so the FLB management had to think outside the box. With Affonso Villar failing for the LHW belt and Moura failing for the HW belt, they said why not move Villar up to HW for one Superfight between the two former champions. Renato is another extremely talented fighter who has risen up the ranks, with his only loss to the champ, Renato wants to build himself back up with a fight against Felipe Luiz Rosa. Sergio do Vale has failed in the big fight, losing to EAM twice and Cristobal Galvao, but he's still a top competitor. Nothing booked for him yet, but we expect it to be Julio Correa who has also been a top competitor but never winning the big one. do Vale and Correa have fought before where do Vale came out on top. Young up and comer Gustavo Goes has been pro since 2001. 7-0 record with a 2-0 record in FLB, Goes has only been brought to the second round once amongst his tally of first round finishes. He hasn't faced a top level opponent yet, but maybe his next one could be that next big step.

http://i1216.photobucket.com/albums/dd364/Marginal0/Clipboard02_1.jpg

The awesome thing is that they are all former (or current) champions.

It's like... the game knows... <img alt="" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/cool.png.f00d2562b2c1d873a09323753efdb041.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /> (but I'm pretty sure it doesn't and it's a coincidence)

Hey its been a while, I decided to continue a save game from WMMA 3 I uploaded to WMMA 3 forums years ago. I went from 2001 to 2004 in this long Dawn of MMA save game. This was all done in WMMA 3 and I figured I'd post it here because it would be noticed more.

The world is pretty interesting, as a regenerated fighter named Douglas O'Brien is the best fighter in the world, swatting every opponent that graces him at 205 and even 265. Anderson Silva has become a force to be reckoned with in the middleweight division, Randy Couture has made a comeback in the heavyweight division just recently overcoming his only loss against Minotauro Nogueira. Matt Hughes had a similar climb back to the top in the welterweight division and is now comfortable with his position as champ. BJ Penn became the first UFC lightweight champion by winning the one night tournament held on TV.

Heres the link to the 2001 version of the save

Keep in mind the game's in a lower point right now as TEW2016 has been released and people here are mostly playing that game.

Same thing for O+. I've been holding back updates given it's not worth the time put into compiling the rar-file and uploading, given the lack of interest.

And another match, Sobral win by Technical submission by way of Armbar, not sure if it's the patch..

Never seen this news, pretty cool to see that i haven't see the entire game

EDIT : Match between two girls, Anne Ryan and Mizuki. Mizuki was losing badly. VERY badly. On the feet she was no match (3 knockdown) on the ground, the same (2 Takedown, Ryan advancing position with ease)

Then :

(Rd 4 - 03:28) Mizuki shoots in for a takedown.

(Rd 4 - 03:28) Mizuki has the takedown! Ryan pulls half guard.

(Rd 4 - 03:11) Mizuki unloads with massive right hands and Ryan is getting destroyed!

(Rd 4 - 03:11) The referee is forced to jump in and stop the fight!

(Rd 4 - 02:55) The winner, by TKO; Mizuki Inoue!

That is odd. Maybe best post it in Tech Support.

@Celuwyn: I got a render ready for Stamille-Richards but I've forgotten to upload it. It's just a slight edit of a previous render, but better than nothing I guess.

Sometimes you do see new stuff, but the ones you mention were already in place. Adam just made them so rare you'd almost jump from your seat when they happen. Better this than the game spamming Showtime kicks. There's still a plethora of 'achievements' I haven't got, and I played the game for ages. And what the hell is up with Tate vs Rousey II happening in 2018? :p

Injuries and dumb stuff is what's going on in my game right now. I've lost 3 of my current champions to major injuries and now, Lamont Banner, who was out for a year and 6 months comes back and after his first fight, he says he needs a break and goes on hiatus. It's just a game, but what a way to wast away a fun fighter by having him miss over 2 years in the game. lol

^Ahh man, yeah that sucks. And it's precisely why I mass-modify the resilience, recuperation, preparation, and recovery stats for every fighter in the database. And save manually every few days so I can restore from the last save whenever needed. Hiatuses and injuries longer than 6 months are banned in my universe. <img alt=";)" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/wink.png.686f06e511ee1fbf6bdc7d82f6831e53.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /> Lol.

I never have been able to load up a game from when I saved. Also, the major injuries are killing me. I've looked back now, I've had over the last 12 game months, 19 injuries, 10 of them have been major injures, 4 of them 6 months, 1 1 year, 6 months, and 5 2 years. I've also had 2 hiatuses not to mention the two drug fails. My problem right now, is the injuries, hiatuses and drug fails are all happening to my big name fighters. I don't mind all of this except the major injuries. I just wish I could edit injures so they aren't 2 years.

For Tate vs Rousey 2018, I run a game where everybody begins at 21 years old , and there is no fight history between the two. Q-Cage has a ten rule for a knockdown, and Tate won the title by this way against Rousey <img alt=":p" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/tongue.png.ceb643b2956793497cef30b0e944be28.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" />

Oh no, I will continue to complain! lol:D;)

I know, I like my realism, but only so much I guess. :) I don't mind injuries, I like the fact that they happen and that causes me to have to make changes to my card, but it's when it's 2 year injuries over and over again that makes it hard to take.
