Taking the Burning Hammer Into The Heart of Puroresu

Recommended Posts

OOC: Sorry for the long delay. I wanted to take my time with the snippet for this week's BURNING Weekly. Also it's currently 3 in the morning where I'm from so I'm far too tired to correct any spelling errors(if there are any) at the moment. Going back to post above, I'll be doing this throughout this diary so you won't just see pieces from just Zion but his co workers as well. Also, I think I'm going to ask for someone to make a BURNING Weekly pic for me. Admittedly, I don't know where to ask(hence the lack of pictures in this diary except for the generic Burning Hammer logo) so I figured I would throw it out there and ask the viewing public.

Hopefully you guys enjoy this and the next card should be released before the end of the day.

The POWER Tour Reaches to Takamatsu!

The third leg of the POWER tour rolls into the Shikikou area with two big tag team main events. The Takamatsu Athletics Stadium will be the place to be as Burning Hammer continues their first act of 2013. In the main event, the Kasou-Gun Vs Seikigun war rages on as Yasuhiko Taira and Golden Scorpion take on Hiroaki Nakasawa and Marihito Masuko in what should be an explosive match. At the last POWER show in Hokkaido, Black Magic challenged the Seikigun on behalf of Kaosu-Gun to a 5 on 5 Elimination match. Some would say this is a cheap tactic by the Kaosu-Gun, knowing that the Seikigun are currently short-handed. Either way, as we saw on the last show, Nakasawa and the rest of the Seikigun are looking for a fight despite their circumstances.

Speaking of Seikigun, Tadakuni Toshusai and the Burning Hammer Junior Champion Elemental III will team up in the semi main against the challenger to Elemental's Junior crown at Fire Dream of the Immortals Sensational Dragon and Mitsunari Fugunaga. Fugunaga is said to be very eager to get into the ring with Toshusai, a man who's often been compared to him due to both's past comedic backgrounds. Silver Fleet Rising are looking to make a statement and Sensational Dragon in particular, would love to get an upper hand on his rival Elemental III before their big championship match in two weeks. And after his passionate speech, Toshusai is looking to make it known to his Fire Dream of the Immortals opponent, reigning King of Fighters Champion Tasuku Iesada, that he should be taken seriously in their title match.

Natsu Miyamae has made it known to INSPIRE's ultra aggressive grappler Masaaki Okazaki that he will not tolerate Okazaki's antagonism. The two find themselves in a pair of single matches as Okazaki will face Silver Fleet Rising member Heihachiro Sakai and Miyamae takes on Murai Enomoto. Sakai will be looking to score the biggest win of his career, something Miyamae, the leader of the Silver Fleet, would certainly be pleased with. At the same token, Enomoto is in the same position as Sakai as he could defeat one of the rising heavyweights in Burning Hammer in Miyamae.

Further down the card, the team of Yoshii Shomi and VENOM will face off against the WLW alum team of Bairei Yasujiro and The Incredible Koyama. Shiomi & VENOM have made it known that they want a revenge against the newly minted team of MYSTIC Dragon and Shimedzu and so they will want to turn in a great performance against a makeshift, although capable, team of Yasujiro & Koyama. The American Panther team of American Optimus and Red Panther will be joined by White Samurai in a 3 on 3 match against the Burning Hammer Junior Tag Team Champions Haru Kurofuji and Hachigoro Maeda of Maverick X and Reijiro Hiraki. American Panther and Maverick X will square off at Fire Dream of the Immortals in a rematch of Night of the Burning Hammer when Maverick X started their current title region by take the titles off of American Panther. Sessue Kawat and Sanetomo Shiraishi, fresh off a successful last show that saw Shiraishi tap out one half of the Buring Hammer World Tag Team Champions Toshiko Shibaunumo, will once again team to face fellow veteran comrade Chuichi Sanda and recent Hinote Dojo call up Ryushi. And finally, rounding on the main card the "Louisiana Wonderkid" KC Glenn goes one on one with the "Big Fight Player" Kansuke Konda.

The two dark matches features the other half of Bulls of Fury Eiji Hamacho taking on gaijin power fighter "The Gridiron Brawler" Brandon Smith. And finally, the Kasou-Gun/Seikigun war continues as the cocky Ieyoshi Shimakage partners up with the newest member of Kasou-gun and the reigning Campeon de Universal OLLIE Silver Tiger to go against Atsumori Takemura and Hyosuke Kokan. All this and more as Burning Hammer invades Shikoku!

Dark Match: Ieyoshi Shimakage & Silver Tiger Vs Atsumori Takemura & Hyosuke Kokan

Looks like a good way to get Tiger over here in a YL/Veteran match

Dark Match: Eiji Hamacho Vs Brandon Smith

Hard to imagine Hamacho losing to Smith

Match 1: KC Glenn Vs Kansuke Konda

Er.. good placement, highest rated... squash match for sure.

Match 2: KawaRaishi(Sessue Kawate & Sanetomon Shiraishi) Vs Chuichi Sanda & Ryushi Sato

Sato IS a young lion, and as much as I dislike KawRaishi, they are fairly over

Match 3: American Panther(American Optimus & Red Panther) & White Samurai Vs Maverick X(Haru Kurofuji & Hachigoro Maeda) & Reijiro Hikrai

Again, a difficult pick, but with Young Lion in play, I have to think Hiraki takes the fall -- if he isn't YL this could go the other way

Match 4: Shiomi & VENOM Vs Bairei Yasujiro & The Incredible Koyama

Squash

Match 5: Natsu Miyamae Vs Murai Enomoto

Squash

Match 6: Masaaki Okazaki Vs Heihachiro Sakai

Squash

Semi Main: Elemental III & Tadakuni Toshusai Vs Mitsunari Fugunaga & Sensational Dragon

I'm going with Dragon in the coin-flip here, as he is (probably) the most over of the four

Main Event: Yasuhiko Taira & Golden Scorpion Vs Hiroaki Nakasawa & Marihito Mausko

The right is far more over, this is close to a squash

1, Kansuke Konda beat KC Glenn (6:47) when Konda used the Konda Driver. (Grade:C)

2. KawaRaishi(Sessue Kawate & Sanetomo Shiraishi) defeated Chuichi Sanda & Ryushi Sato (7:34) when Shiraishi pinned Sato after the Frost Bite.(Grade: D+)

3. American Panther(American Optimus & Red Panther) and White Samurai beat Maverick X(Haru Kurofuji & Hachigoro Maeda) and Reijiro Hiraki (9:28) when Optimus uses the O-Bomb.(Grade:C-)

4. Yoshii Shomi & VENOM beat Bairei Yasujiro & The Incredible Koyama(10:45) when VENOM made Koyama submit with the Sting in the Tail.(Grade:C)

5. Natsu Miyamae beat Murai Enomoto (12:52) when Miyamae made Enomoto tap out with the Viper's Grip.(Grade:B-)

6. Masaaki Okazaki beat Heihachiro Sakai (14:41) when Okazaki made Sakai pass out to the Viper's Grip after knocking him down with the Okazaki Barrage.(Grade:B)

7. Tadakuni Toshusai & Elemental III beat Mitsunari Fugunaga & Sensational Dragon (21:48) when Toshusai used the Electro Shock on Fugunaga.(Grade:B)

8. Hirokai Nakasawa & Marihito Masuko beat Yasuhiko Taira & Golden Scorpion (23:040 when Nakasawa uses the Compression Powerbomb on Scorpion. (Grade:B)

OVERALL SHOW GRADE: B

Okazaki made sure to lock in the Viper's Grip after sending Sakai to the ground so he could stare right in the face of Miyamae, who seconded Sakai after his ow match, while in the act. Post match, the always provocative Okazaki taunted Sakai to laughter which led to a brawl between him and Miyamae. Ring boys and a few officials broke up the fight quickly, with Okazaki laughing throughout.

Nakasawa mentioned in the closing speech that the unoccupied Seikigun members were officially accepting the 5 on 5 Elimination challenge Kasou-Gun threw down last show. Even with Horri, Toshusai and Elemental III dealing with their own matters, like Kasou-Gun said previously, this was war. No matter how long this went on, the fact remained that they wanted to tear down the fabric and standards that Burning Hammer stood on. Whether it was the constant battle among the 4th Generation or between their two units, Nakasawa would fight to make sure Taira and Masuno would be put down. He, Mausko, Static PUNCH and young Takemura would stand up and fight Kaosu-Gun at Fire Dream of the Immortals. They've bullied Takemura, they've tried to use short cuts to bring Seikigun down. It wouldn't work. The losses to Kikkawa at Night of the Burning Hammer and then to Iesada at Silencing Dragons still stung with Nakasawa and admittedly started to have doubts about his standing as the Ace of the 4th Generation. However, he thanked the fans for their continued supporting and giving him that extra motivation to pull himself out of some of the dark times he's experienced recently. Because of them, he was reminded of the importance he has not just for his unit but for the future of Burning Hammer. As the Ace, he had to be on the front lines fighting, regardless of the failures. He encouraged them to continue to support the Seikigun for all their battles at Fire Dream as well as continue to show support for the best Puroresu organization in the world. Together, they would help eliminate Burning Hammer from those that want to drag it down like INSPIRE and Kaosu-Gun and take Burning Hammer to new heights.

New Transfer, Three New Matches Confirmed for Fire Dream of the Immortals and More!

Story Reported by Yuki Ayano

(Monday, Week 2, March 2013)

http://i89.photobucket.com/albums/k235/Bigpapa42_2006/Wrestling/Logos/Promotions/BHOTWG3.jpg

http://i24.photobucket.com/albums/c33/DerekB83/Burning%20Hammer/TetsuzanKaneko.jpg

A small press conference was held today at the main Burning Hammer of the Wrestling Gods HQ in Tokyo, Japan, Burning Hammer President Tetsuzan Kaneko started off by confirming three matches for Fire Dream of the Immortals in eleven days. He officially announced that Haru Kurofuji & Hachigoro Maeda will defend their Junior Tag Team Championship belts against American Panther(American Optimus & Red Panther), Kasou-Gun(Yasuhiko Taira, Yasunobu Masuno, The Awesome Kiyaru, Golden Scorpion and Ieyoshi Shimakage) against the Seikigun(Hiroaki Nakasawa, Marihito Masuko, Kansuke Konda, Hyosuke Kokan and Atsumori Takemura) in a 5 on 5 Elimination Match. And finally, given the recent mercurial encounters between these two competitors, Kaneko confirmed that Silver Fleet Rising leader Natsu Miyamae would go one on one against INSPIRE's Masaaki Okazaki.

Kaneko then moved on to the true purpose for this press conference. Going into today, there had been rumors about an unveiling of a new signing that had dominated the talk among the media. There wasn't much to speculate on but the prevailing theory was that the new signing was one of the brightest prospects away from one of many wrestling organizations in Puroresu. As it turns out, that rumor was indeed true as Kaneko revealed to the press the signing of Razan Okamoto from BGC fame!

The 22 year old wrestler appeared in front of the press and shook hands with President Kaneko while holding his newly signed contract to Burning Hammer. Once he sat next to the President, Okamoto stated that he was making the transfer from Black Canvas Grappling to Burning Hammer immediately and would wrestler on the next show Wednesday night in Akita. He continued by saying that wrestling as a member of the Burning Hammer roster has always been a personal goal of his ever since he began training to become a wrestler. He knew one day he would make it to this point and he was grateful it happened sooner than later. He thanked President Kaneko and Burning Hammer management for giving him this great opportunity. He closed by expressing his eagerly to begin his new career path as a member of the roster but also his desire to reach the top of the Junior Division. While he was excited being a part of the famous Junior Division as well as at the thought of facing all the great juniors such as Sensational Dragon, Elemental III, Marihito Mausko he wasn't here to make up the numbers. He confidently closed by proclaiming that it wouldn't take long for him to find success in the Junior Division.

Here's the card for Fire Dream of the Immortals for now.

I definitely agree with your point about Hiraki. I'm away from my laptop at the moment but already he's built a solid all around game for himself. What excites me is the fact that he is B- in Basics and a C+ in psychology and he's on the Hot Prospects list. He's only going to get better.

I've never thought about pairing Toju and Reijiro together under your intention but I think that's pretty awesome. I usually pair them with veteran juniors. Currently there's one of those in the division in Maverick X. I will say this, the amount of depth I have with the juniors exceeds my heavyweights. Other than the Big Five + INSPIRE trio and hopefully Miyamae, there's not much there. Bulls of Fury are a great team and are needed in the tag division. I like Yuusa more than others and Fugunaga is solid. But really, I have a lot of potentially good to great heavys(Tajemura, Sakai and a few others in Hinote) that'll need time to develop. Juniors have three Aces with an emerging Ace(MYSTIC Dragon), solid hands(Static PUNCH, American Panther, Scorpion), a wild card(,Maeda) and Kiyaru is still around. The prospects I currently have makes me excited as well.

The POWER Tour Stops in Akita!

(Wednesday, Week 2, March 2013)

The fourth stop on the POWER Tour is the Akita Stadium in Tohoku as Fire Dream of the Immortals is only nine days away. The competitors know gaining and maintaining momentum is key leading up to the pay per view event. That will be the theme throughout the show as there'll be opportunities to gain an upper hand over their foes down the line. Case in the point, the main event; which features Masaaki Okazaki and the reigning King of Fighters Champion Tasuku Iesada take on Natsu Miyamae and Heihachiro Sakai. The situation between Okazaki and Miyamae is rapidly growing in hostility as their encounters have been nothing short of explosive. After the humiliation he suffered by the hands of Okazaki on the last show, Sakai is seeking to knock Okazaki down a peg just as much as Miyamae is. Iesada, on the other hand, is nine days away from defending his King of Fighters crown against "The Shocker" Tadakuni Toshusai, and while he must have his focus on that future bout, he and Okazaki can't avoid to get cocky. Especially against a team looking for a fight!

Speaking of fights, Kasou-Gun and Seikigun remain on the opposing sides of another. In nine days the two units will be pitted against each other in a 5 on 5 Elimination match with bragging rights and more on the line. In the semi main, Black Magic pairs up with the "Black Plague" himself The Awesome Kiyaru to take on Hiraoki Nakasawa, Marihito Mausko and the "Big Fight Player" Kansuke Konda. While most will point out that the always underhanded Kasou-Gun members challenged Seikigun in a state where some of the front line members are in the midst of big title matches, the Seikigun haven't complained and insist that they can still overcome their bitter rivals. The Akita fans can expect no love to be lost or found between these two units.

Kinnojo Horri has a chance to dethrone his eternal enemy Tadiyuki Kikkawa and become a three time Burning Hammer World Champion at Fire Dream of the Immortals. However, before then he has a tough task ahead of him in the form of Nissho Yuusa, one half of the Burning Hammer Tag Team Champions. Yuusa and Horri have had battles in the past and so they are no strangers to one another. While he's enjoying his curent title reign, Yuusa would love to score a huge upset over Horri to increase his stock as a heavyweight. Of course, the Emperor of Fire has other plans. Something has to give here.

Rounding out the card we'll see a return match, in some ways, as Mitusunari Fugunaga challenged and was granted a singles match against the number one contender for the King of Fighters Championship Tadakuni Toshusai. Fugunaga was upset over the fact that he was pinned by the Shocker and he's made it known publicly that he does like Toshusai; presumably because of their similar past in comedy. He's often heard the comparisons because of this fact and that only irritates the man that calls himself Mr. Serious. He'll look to prove his might and with a win over Toshusai, he could very well slot himself in the King of Fighters title hunt when Toshusai's shot is completed.

Also, we'll see the debut of Razan Okamoto. He was formally introduced as the newest member of the Burning Hammer roster on Monday. His first opponent? Kasou-Gun's own Golden Scorpion. Okamoto will be faced with a huge test right out of the gate. How will he fare against The Black and Gold Attack? From there, we have Yoshii Shiomi and VENOM team up with the "Spark" Reijiro Hiraki against MYSTIC Dragon, Shimedzu and gaijin KC Glenn. Shiomi & VENOM are on record about wanting to avenge their loss to the newly formed team of MYSTIC Dragon and Shimedzu, who are now gong by the name of MYSTIC Force, on the very first show of the year. They'll look to make a statement here. Continuing the trend of Six Man Tags, Bairei Yasujiro will pair up with his veteran comrades Eiji Hamacho and Chuichi Sanda of Bulls of Fury against The Incredible Koyama, newcomer Ryushi Sato and the hostile Tatsuya Toshitala.

The dark matches will consist of gaijin power fighter Brandon Smith going one on one against one half of the Burning Hammer World Tag Team Champions, "The Warrior" Toshiko Shibaunumo. And finally, Ieyoshi Shimakage teams with Silver Tiger for the second straight show to take on Murai Enomoto and Hyosuke Kokan. Last show, Shimakage and Tiger fought Kokan and Atsumori Takemura to a draw so it should be interesting to see how Kokan will fair with Enomoto now as his partner.

Dark Match: Ieyoshi Shimakage & Silver Tiger Vs Murai Enomoto & Hyosuke Kokan

Still think Silver Tiger goes over here.

Dark Match: Brandon Smith Vs Toshiko Shibaunumo

Shibaunumo sucks, but 'Dozer isn't over enough yet to take it here -- which is a shame, as he is a perfect fit for Japan.

Match 1:Bairei Yasujiro & Bulls of Fury(Eiji Hamacho & Chuichi Sanda)[/b] Vs The Incredible Koyama, Ryushi Sato & Tatsuya Toshitala

Sato here to take the pin.

Match 2: Rejiro Hiraki, Yoshii Shiomi & VENOM Vs MYSTIC Force(Mystic Dragon & Shimedzu) & KC Glenn

I'm not sure Hiraki is a young lion -- but I know Glenn is at this point, and far less over, so Hiraki and company take this one

Match 3: Razan Okamoto's Burning Hammer Debut!: Razan Okamoto Vs Golden Scorpion

Razan is so good it's a shame you can't usually get him to move up to middleweight -- he's [arguably] the best >25 guy in the C-Verse, and not only is the Junior Division a rung below the ME, Razan isn't a junior-style worker, he's an old-school technician. Anyway, if he's losing in his debut, it isn't to the middling Golden Scorpion.

Match 4: Special Challenge Match: Mitsunari Fugunaga Vs Tadakuni Toshusai

Double T is more over here though I like Fugunaga both as character and worker.

Match 5: Kinnojo Horri Vs Nissho Yuusa

Some people have found use for Yuusa. Personally, I haven't, and Horri is better.

Semi Main: The Awesome Kiyaru & Black Magic(Yasuhiko Taira & Yasunobu Masuno) Vs Hirokai Nakasawa, Marihito Mausko & Kansuke Konda

The right is not only better but far more over, plus "H-Bomb" needs a victory more.

Main Event: Masaaki Okazaki & Tasuku Ieada Vs Natsu Miyamae & Heihachiro Sakai

Team INSPIRE is far more over at this stage of the game.

Believe it or not, you can move Okamoto to middleweight. That's one of the reasons why I signed him. Thing is one thing I've told myself I wouldn't do is steal guys from other Puro companies. It's hard to pass up on guys like Okamoto or like Masa Kurata from WLW. Generally, Puro companies in real life don't see much turnover unless there's an exodus or if there's a transfer. Dragon Gate for example has had very little turnover, with the only additions since 2005 being graduates and a few outsiders(Gamma, Kagetora). So I told myself I wouldn't sign either or. It would either be Okamoto or Kurata and in the end, I chose Okamoto. There's a few other young prospects I have tabs on(usual suspects). I can honestly tell you I do't want anyone from PGHW. Not even Bussho(who i usually steal.) I'm sticking to going the homegrown route. Signing unemployed prospects so they can become loyal and graduates from Hinote Dojo.

BTW since this diary is more about looking at the company from a journalistic standpoint, anything like booking, signings, etc, etc I'll talk about.

Dark Match: Ieyoshi Shimakage & Silver Tiger Vs Murai Enomoto & Hyosuke Kokan

Draw again.

Dark Match: Brandon Smith Vs Toshiko Shibaunumo

Smith needs more popularity to win.

Match 1: Bairei Yasujiro & Bulls of Fury (Eiji Hamacho & Chuichi Sanda) Vs The Incredible Koyama, Ryushi Sato & Tatsuya Toshitala

Who is gonna get pinned? I going with Ryushi Sato.

Match 2: Rejiro Hiraki, Yoshii Shiomi & VENOM Vs MYSTIC Force (Mystic Dragon & Shimedzu) & KC Glenn

MYSTIC Dragon is way above the others in popularity.

Match 3: Razan Okamoto's Burning Hammer Debut!: Razan Okamoto Vs Golden Scorpion

Despite being one of the best prospect in the C-Verse, Okamoto is still a young lion, so an hard fought loss is probably in his future.

Match 4: Special Challenge Match: Mitsunari Fugunaga Vs Tadakuni Toshusai

Toshusai is a main eventer.

Match 5: Kinnojo Horri Vs Nissho Yuasa

Victory for the former BHOTWG Heavyweight Champion.

Semi Main: The Awesome Kiyaru & Black Magic (Yasuhiko Taira & Yasunobu Masuno) Vs Hiroaki Nakasawa, Marihito Masuko & Kansuke Konda

2 heavyweight against 1.

Main Event: Masaaki Okazaki & Tasuku Iesada Vs Natsu Miyamae & Heihachiro Sakai

The INSPIRE alumni get the main event victory.

7. Masaaki Okazaki & Tasuku Ieada defeated Natsu Miyamae & Heihachiro Sakai (22: 49) when Iesada used the Rolling Three on Sakai. (Grade: A)

OVERALL SHOW GRADE: B+

Shimakage walked down with a sign that read "Go, Go, Jimi Enomoto" with a picture of Enomoto's face in the middle. He periodically mocked Enomoto by trying to get the crowd to go along with the chant.

Toshitala was not pleased to be in a team setting as he made blind tags and sulked on the apron. He did not help Sato during the final sequence of the match, watching Hamacho put his fellow young lion away from the apron. Afterwards, he was confronted by Sato, which led to a brawl that had to be pulled back by the veterans. Backstage, Toshitala simply noted that he was friends with no one. Sato, like every young lion, was an enemy to him. The time for his arm to be broken would come.

Shiomi didn't waste time after the match. He and VENOM wanted to a rematch against MYSTIC Force at Fire Dream of the Immortals. MYSTIC Dragon spoke on behalf of him and Shimedzu and accepted.

Shimakage, Scorpion and Silver Tiger interfered numerous times during the semi main. They were usually cancelled out by Static PUNCH, Takemura and Enomoto. Finally, during the ending stretching, a black mist attack by both Kiyaru and Scorpion on the outside led to the finish.

Okazaki patted the top of Miyamae's head after the finish. This led to a slap from Miyamae. The rest of Silver Fleet Rising restrained their leader as Okazaki simply smiled widely in his face. Okazaki got on the mic and taunted Miyamae. Was that the best he could do? It didn't feel as good as he expected. He pleaded for Miyamae to slap him again. Miyamae was held back and eventually left, not before stating that at Fire Dream of the Immortals, he would knock Okazaki's teeth down his throat.

In a rare event, INSPIRE(minus Kikkawa) was left to close the show. Okazaki made fun of the usual babyface promo, asking the crowd did they enjoy the crowd. It didn't matter if they liked it because INSPIRE did. Yet, knowing the fans would praise Sakai and Miyamae's efforts, that pissed him off. Cheering for the weak and booing the almighty like INSPIRE was ****ing disgusting. In their Burning Hammer, the fans wouldn't have a choice for they would have to accept reality. They will enjoy when they hear the sound of Miyamae's bones snapping by his hands at Fire Dream of the Immortals. They would enjoy the sight of Iesada putting Toshusai to sleep. Soon, they would enjoy the soothing sound of Saito breaking jaws with his strikes. In fact, on the next show, Saito would make his Burning Hammer debut teaming with the Grand Emperor himself Tadiyuki Kikkawa. He said look forward to a trail of bodies they would leave by the next time they returned here.

Iesada grabbed the mic and spoke about Toshusai. Another win over a fellow comedy wrestler like Fugunaga wouldn't change fate. The result of their title match was already determined by the Gods. Toshusai's destiny was failure. Just like everyone that opposed INSPIRE. Every battered body was a consequence for the fans supporting the weak and allowing mediocrity to be the standard. Their sins were being cleansed with every INSPIRE victory. One by one, the weak would be eaten and only the strong would survive. One Rule, One Reign. INSPIRE: Gods Among Men; Gods Among All

Just wanted to say thanks and to cheer you on. The model you're using to present the dynasty is quite revelatory in regards with how to book/present a puro show. I run GCG games all the time and this sort of thing really helps.

Thanks! I really appreciate the kind words. I've bene trying to keep it simple with my booking, My biggest goal, with the way the results are being posted, is to showcase the different characters of the roster. I think so far in my opinion(and you guys can agree or disagree with me) I've done that best with the INSPIRE guys and Shimakage. It's a bit of a challenge but hopefully people are seeing what certain people are from a character standpoint.

Also I meant to do this after I posted the last show but I had to run.

Post Show Notes: It's really awesome that I was able to get my first A rated match within my fourth show. A large part is because Iesada and Okazaki have excellent chemistry as partners; the second time that's happened to me so far(the first was Takemura and Enomoto). Speaking of the match, I'm really impressed with Sakai. At the beginning, he's one of the few that's rated a great wrestler on the roster but he hasn't disappointed(even his singles match with Okazaki scored a B.) Hopefully that's a good sign about his potential.

I'm still hoping Toshusai could score a B- in a singles match. He's improved from the last installment but in the ring, he still is behind the other guys in the Big Five. I don't want to say I'm worried about his King of Fighters match against Iesada because, barring any negative chemistry coming up, I believe Iesada can carry him to at least a B. But I would have liked to see him out of the C to C+. Perhaps my expectations were a little to high though.

Going back to Okazaki one more time, I'm personally enjoying writing his feud with Miyamae. It's just a story between a man trying to break out against this borderline lunatic fighter. It's more than just a wrestling feud, it's basically a fight and a challenge to Miyamae's manhood and his status as a newly rising singles star. BTW, I'm starting to enjoy writing Okazaki too. I've taken elements from Minoru Suzuki and have used that as inspiration for him. All the INSPIRE guys have their own separate characteristics besides the common God complex they all share.

<p><strong><span style="text-decoration:underline;">Hajime no Zion #5 in Tokyo</span></strong></p><p><strong><span style="text-decoration:underline;">

Friday, Week 2, March 2013</span></strong></p><p> </p><p>

On the surface, my job is fairly simple. I attend Burning Hammer shows, document what I see from a quasi sports journalistic angle, Mister Harada then gives me a topic to write a piece about and then I send it to the editing team. From there, they "polish" my articles before putting them on the latest BURNING Weekly magazine that gets published at the end of the week. In ways, I wish it was that simple. I mean, I love what I do. I love touring alongside Burning Hammer and already, the first four shows back on tour have been amazing. Not everyone can have the luck of having their job centered around something they love. That still doesn't mean it isn't stressful or, in this case, simple.</p><p> </p><p>

One thing I'm fortunate about is how my job isn't what some people call an "office" job. As one of the writers for BURNING Weekly, my "office" varies for my apartment to an airport. In other words, I'm able to write my articles from anywhere because I'm always on the road. With that said there are times where I'm summoned to the BURNING Weekly HQ and I've come to realize that's only when Mister Harada has assigned me a topic to write for the next issue of BURNING Weekly. After the last show, Mister Harada called me and told me I needed to come to Tokyo as he had something to tell me. And I've been waiting in this lobby for a few minutes. I'm trying to distract myself from dying of anticipation of whatever Mister Harada has planned for me. I saw a couple of the editors today and they waved at me. I'm not really used to that so I can't imagine how awkward it was when I waved back.</p><p> </p><p>

But sitting here, waiting for Mister Harada had me thinking about how strange this job is. The way BURNING Weekly is structured from a worker perspective is that in total, there are about thirty people employed by BURNING Weekly. I'm still unsure about the exact number but that's around the ballpark. You have the editors, who are the only ones that aren't on the road as they stay in this building creating the magazine covers and editing pictures sent to them by the photographers or editing paragraphs from a sent in writing piece. You also have your photographers, like i mentioned. I believe there's about ten of them. Obviously they're on the road, sitting really close to the action so they can land the money shots that land on an issue. In terms of writers, there's about eight of us; all with different roles. For example, Yuki-chan works on the BURNING Weekly website; which is set up so fans can stay updated with what's going on in Burning Hammer as well as when matches are announced, when there's a press conference, etc. At times, I help out with the website but for the large part, that's Yuki, sometimes Masato and a few others who's attributes include technical design.</p><p> </p><p>

Speaking of Masato, he's in the same boat as I am. We're the ones that write those articles people see when they pick up a magazine. Whether that's interviews, something retrospective or even just a piece about a match that's on the horizon, our content generally makes it on the pages. There's a certain "tier" level when it comes to which writer gets what and it's solely based on a few factors; longevity with BURNING Weekly, reputation and most importantly, one's ability as a writer. It's a system Harada-san uses to inspire us to strive to produce the best content and constantly improve our craft while meeting up to his standards. Since I'm new, I've been tasked with writing minor stuff(promoting a recent Hinote Dojo call up to give an example), although I was lucky to be assigned two interviews with Miyamae-san and Maeda-san. I'm still not sure how to take that. Perhaps it's a sign Mister Harada sees something in me? Or was it merely a test to see how I performed. He didn't give me much of feedback afterwards. Actually, he doesn't really give <em>anyone</em> positive feedback. Whenever he's had discussions with me about my work, he only points out the areas he believes I need help. Last time, he mentioned the pacing in my piece about Maeda and Maverick X was a bit spotty and my word choice was not as expensive as he wants it to be. Thing with him is that Mister Harada is that he's always firm. It's hard to read him. And that's the scary part.</p><p> </p><p>

So yeah, I'm on the low "tier" alongside Bakin-san, the guy who wrote the solid article about Hiraki and Hinote Dojo. Masato's been here for a bit so he's higher on the totem pole. But none of us get the cover stories. Not yet at least. That was something Mister Harada made it clear had to be earned. Currently, there's only three that have "earned" that and all of them are on the elder side in terms of age and tenure within BURNING Weekly. Takuma Onodera, Eita Yamazaki and Kenshin Yamamura. The "Trinity" as some around BURNING Weekly call them. When it comes to journalism, those three are as good as it gets. Some of the greatest BURNING Weekly articles ever written for the magazine have been written by one of them. I still have most of those covers back in my apartment. Their reputation isn't just revered among my peers in BURNING Weekly but also with the wrestlers in Burning Hammer; mainly the veterans. Unlike people like myself, Masato-kun, Yuki-chan, etc, they have access to go backstage whenever they please because of their status. I've never been able to truly talk to them since being hired and that's because they're usually not around. Well, that's not entirely accurate. Eita'san has been the only one I've managed to have a decent conversation with. He's a jovial man but he always looks as if he only gets four hours of sleep a night. I've been lucky to catch him a few times on the road and he has a lot of wisdom about Puroresu. He's very insightful. I imagine that's how the others in the Trinity are.</p><p> </p><p>

"Zion-chan, he will like to see you now." My thoughts were soon halted by one of the assistants, who was sporting a black buttoned down shirt with blue jeans. I keep forgetting his name and I feel awful about it because whenever I'm here, I always see him. He too is one of those guys that gives me the customary "Hello" and I'm always stuck, frozen. I could see him remove a few strains of his brown hair from his eye sight before he walked me down the hallways. Some call it the "Burning Path" and while that's extremely clever, it's because of all the posters and frames of historical Burning Hammer moments that rest all throughout the orange painted walls. The young assistant soon stops right in front of Mister Harada's office and opens the door for me. The first image I saw was Mister Harada, lounging in his chair looking as calm and stone faced as always. I swear, if you didn't know he was the head of a magazine, you could make the argument that he was a member of the Yakuza. His hair is always slicked back, his suits are always tailored and when he's in the building, he always has a cigar in his mouth. And I saw today he was wearing a few matching rings on both ring fingers. </p><p> </p><p>

"He's here sir," the young assistant said. Mister Harada dusted off his black tailor made suit before he pointed to me and signaled to come in. When I step foot in his office, I could hear the door close behind me. Like the Burning Path, Mister Harada's walls was also filled with Burning Hammer frames. That's one of my favorite qualities of this place. It feels like a place where Burning Hammer magazines would be crafted every week. I'm sure Mister Harada had a hand in creating that atmosphere.</p><p> </p><p>

"You're late," he muttered. Crap, he knows. Once again, I had problems coming from my hotel room to downtown Tokyo because of traffic. I technically got here with four minutes to spare but four minutes to spare isn't good enough for Mister Harada.</p><p> </p><p>

"I'm sorry," I responded. That's all I could really say. I wasn't going to argue with him. That wouldn't work in my favor.</p><p> </p><p>

"Take a seat." Mister Harada points to a chair that resided right across from the desk he was sitting at. I saw him take a puff from his cigar as I sat down.</p><p> </p><p>

"If I remember correctly, you were also almost late for the Opening Pres Conference as well. I hope this doesn't become a habit."</p><p> </p><p>

"Yes sir. I promise." </p><p> </p><p>

"Good because if it keeps up, you'll be punished." Yikes. How could he make such a threat in such a cold and calm manner? I don't not want to get on his bad side at all. Mister Harada turns his attention to the window, where there was a nice view of downtown Tokyo before taking another puff from his cigarette.</p><p> </p><p>

"Now, I brought you here because I want to go over what I have assigned you to do for the next BURNING Weekly issue." A part of me felt happy. I was getting my first assignment of the year. However, there was another part that was a bit anxious about the matter and I think that's because, well, Mister Harada does intimidate me. He's a taskmaster. A no-nonsense kind of guy. The kind of aura he gives off does startle me.</p><p> </p><p>

"Assigned?" I merely replied.</p><p> </p><p>

"Yes. The reason you're here is because you won't be alone in this particular piece."</p><p> </p><p>

"I won't?" I couldn't stop asking questions. I hope I'm not annoying the man. That's the last thing I need.</p><p> </p><p>

"I have assigned you and Masato to do an interview each. He's interviewing Team REVIVAL, you're going to do KawaRaishi. They're getting the next shot at the Tag Team Titles and it's our job to to give that match a boost in interest." My instant reaction was one of excitement. Having the chance to do another interview, my third, sounds amazing. This one in particular is incredibly intriguing because I'm essentially co-writing this with Masato and while as a fan, KawaRaishi Vs Team REVIVAL might be the match I'm looking forward to the least, I feel the need to be grateful for this opportunity. Besides, for a team like KawaRaishi who's been around for a while, there's a story that could be told about this latest attempt. I'm sure Masato feels the same way about Team REVIVAL.</p><p> </p><p>

"So Masato and I are going to interview them on the same day?"</p><p> </p><p>

"No. He'll interview them first next Monday. Afterwards, he'll give you key sticking points so you can have something to use as source material when you interview KawaRaishi on Tuesday. When you're done, you two will send your respective pieces by noon Wednesday so it can be edited. Do you have any questions?" I did have a lot of other questions to ask how. How did he want the interview to go? What questions did he specifically want me to ask? What angle did he want me to take during the interview? A lot of questions ran through my mind. Perhaps too many questions. I didn't want to annoy him so I chose to keep my mouth shut. If I need help I could ask Masato I suppose since we're working on this together. Also, maybe I shouldn't be worrying so much. Maybe I should just appreciate another chance to sit down with two guys I grew up watching, even if they aren't my favorite tag team of all time. That honor goes to The Rebellion. Mister Harada must like me if he keeps putting me in these situations...<em>right?</em> Still, this is one of those things where I think about the days as a kid, faithfully watching and supporting Burning Hammer to now working for Burning Hammer and being able to sit face to face with some of them. </p><p> </p><p>

"No I think I got it sir. Thank you for this and I promise I won't disappoint you." I was trying to express my gratitude to him. Predictably, his facial expression remained the same. </p><p> </p><p>

"Good because I expect nothing less from you." Geez, why does he have to be so scary?</p>

This Saturday, the Iwakuni Stadium in Chugoku will host the second to last show before the big PPV. The Burning Hammer competitors, however, don't plan on playing it safe and resting as the card this Saturday promises to deliver the hot fighting Burning Hammer offers. The main event features four individuals would will all be involved in high profile bouts at Fire Dream of the Immortals. The number one contender to the Burning World Champion Kinnojo Horri teams with his Seikigun teammate and the reigning Burning Hammer Junior Champion Elemental II t take on Sensational Dragon and Natsu Miyamae. Elemental III and Dragon will square off in six days for the Junior crown that Elemental won off Sensational Dragon last September. Meanwhile. Miyamae plans on settling his ever increasing personal war with INSPIRE's Masaaki Okazaki at Fire Dream of the Immortals. This tag match, however, is for unit bragging rights and with Silver Fleet Rising still relatively new, Miyamae and Sensational Dragon would love to show the world that their unit is a threat.</p><p> </p><p> Speaking of INSPIRE, they recently added a new member to their ranks in the form of Hirokumi Saito. A nineteen year veteran, Saito was apart of the INSPIRE roster when it was its own organization with a reputation for being a ferious MMA-influence; particularly very skilled with knee strikes. He will have to put that to the test as he makes his Burning Hammer debut alongside the leader of INSPIRE and reigning Burning Hammer World Champion Tadiyuki Kikkawa to take on a team who is no strangers to brutality; Chuichi Sanda and Eiji Hamacho of Bulls of Fury. This already has the makings to be a very physical encounter. How will Saito fare in his first match as a member of the Burning Hammer roster? </p><p> </p><p> The Kasou-Gun/Seikigun rivalry continues in the form of a junior tag team match. Two of the longest standing teams will do battle once more as Dark Plague(The Awesome Kiyaru & Golden Scorpion) take on Static PUNCH(Kansuke Konda & Hyosuke Kokan.) These four men will be apart of the 5 on 5 Elimination match between Kasou-Gun and Seikigun and you figure a win here could potentially give their respective units some momentum going into that match. No doubt members from both units will be at ringside and with Kasou-Gun's tendency to resort to any means necessary to pick up victories, this match could easily escalate into a full scale war. Another chapter in the long standing battle between two of the most decorated junior tag teams in Burning Hammer history will be written this Saturday. Who will prevail?</p><p> </p><p> Super Joshuya made his surprise return to Burning Hammer on the first show of the year. On the second show, afterwards, he indicated that he was bringing in a friend, a fellow veteran, who would also make his return to Burning Hammer. All he said about the person in question was that he initially was a part of the roster as a super junior however his tenure was cut short. As it turns out, this was indeed the case and this Saturday, Super Joshuya will team up with this mystery person to take on the newly minted team of MYSTIC Dragon & Shimedzu. MYSTIC Force will take on the veteran junior tag team of Yoshii Shiomi & VENOM at Fire Dream of the Immortals but this will be their second official match as a team. Who is this mystery partner and how big of a difference will he make?</p><p> </p><p> Further down the card includes another tag team match. This time featuring heavyweights. Heihachiro Sakai and Mitisunari Fugunaga take of Silver Fleet Rising take on Seikigun up and comers Atsumori Takemura and Murai Enomoto. Another Silver Fleet Rising member finds himself in action as American Optimus takes on otaku enthusiast and one half of the Junior Tag Team Champions, "Maverick Hunter H" Hachigoro Maeda. In six days, both will be joined by their partners as they will fight for the Junior tag Team titles that Maverick X won from American Panther back at Night of the Burning Hammer. Both will look to gain an upper hand here.</p><p> </p><p> In a bit of news that flew under the radar this week, Sessue Kawate and Sanetomo Shiraishi will receive a Burning World Tag Team Championship match against Team REVIVAL(Nissho Yuusa and Toshiko Shibaunumo) at Fire Dream of the Immortals. Once again, the two will be on opposite sides in a six man tag as KawaRaishi will have young power fighter Ryushi Sato while Team REVIVAL will have Fujio Narahashi. And to close out the main card, Red Panther teams with The Incredible Koyama to take on the other half of the Burning Hammer Junior Tag Team Champions "Kamikaze" Haru Kurofuji and White Samurai.</p><p> </p><p> The two dark matches will see Silver Tiger team up with Yasuhiko Taira to take on gaijin newcomer Brandon Smith and Bairei Yasujiro. The second dark match. perhaps, is the most intriguing as it will present the debut of Iwakuni native Toju Munkata. The young super junior will be immediately thrown into the fire as part of a four way match involving the "Louisiana Wonderkid" KC Glenn, recent signee Razan Okamoto and Reijiro Hiraki. This all adds up to a night you don't want to miss!</p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="40085" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div><strong>Burning Hammer POWER Tour #5 </strong><strong><span style="color:#FF8C00;">Iwakuni Stadium on Saturday, Week 2, March 2013</span></strong><p><strong><span style="color:#FF8C00;"> </span></strong></p><p> <strong>Dark Match</strong>: <em>Fatal Four Way ~Toju Munkata Debut Match~!</em>: KC Glenn Vs Toju Munkata Vs Razan Okamoto Vs Reijiro Hiraki</p><p> </p><p> <strong>Dark Match</strong>: Yasuhiko Taira & Silver Tiger Vs Brandon Smith & Bairei Yasujiro</p><p> </p><p> <strong>Match 1</strong>: Red Panther & The Incredible Koyama Vs Haru Kurofuji & White Samurai</p><p> </p><p> <strong>Match 2</strong>: KawaRaishi(Sessue Kawate & Sanetomo Shirashi) & Ryushi Sato Vs Team REVIVAL(Nissho Yuusa & Toshiko Shibaunumo) & Fujio Narahashi</p><p> </p><p> <strong>Match 3</strong>: American Optimus Vs Hachigoro Maeda</p><p> </p><p> <strong>Match 4</strong>: Heihachiro Sakai & Mitisunari Fugunaga vs Atsumori Takemura & Murai Enomoto</p><p> </p><p> <strong>Match 5</strong>: <em>*~Super Joshuya's Amigo Arrival~</em>: MYSTIC Force(MYSTIC Dragon & Shimedzu) Vs Super Joshuya & ????</p><p> </p><p> <strong>Match 6</strong>: Static PUNCH(Kansuke Konda & Hyosuke Kokan) Vs Dark Plague(The Awesome Kiyaru & Golden Scorpion)</p><p> </p><p> <strong>Semi Main</strong>: Tadiyuki Kikkawa & Hirokuni Saito Vs Bulls of Fury(Chuichi Sanda & Eiji Hamacho)</p><p> </p><p> <strong>Main Event</strong>; Kinnojo Horri & Elemental III Vs Natsu Miyamae & Sensational Dragon</p><p> </p><p> * I will give anyone an extra two points if they can correctly guess the mystery partner.</p></div></blockquote><p> </p><p> </p><blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="40085" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div><span style="text-decoration:underline;">PREDICTION CONTEST</span><p> KnowYourEnemy: 50 points</p><p> Kitarzu: 48 points</p><p> The CoolestJedi12: 18 points</p><p> Tiberious4: 14 points</p><p> Jaded: 12 points</p></div></blockquote>

OVERALL SHOW GRADE: B

A confident Okamoto beamed with joy to the press afterwards. He was relieved to score his first victory as a member of the Burning Hammer roster and once again thanked President Kaneko for the opportunity. He wished he would have picked it up against Scorpion but he knew he would make it for it in this match. While there were a lot of young, talented juniors like himself, he was better than them all. He wasn't here to "wait" for his turn. He would seize a top spot in the Junior division sooner than later.

Hiraki, once he caught wind of Okamoto's comments, remarked to the press that while he respected Okamoto's ability, his somewhat cocky attitude rubbed him the wrong way. It's fine if he thinks he's better than him, He was eagerly looking forward to the many times they would face each other so he could defeat him.

Samurai spoke briefly to the press after scoring his first pinfall of the year. He knew people had already written him off. The Samurai, however, would never surrender no matter what, That was his Bushido.

A notable amount of chppy-ness occurred between Shiraishi and Yuusa. Even after the match, Shiraishi got into it with Yuusa after he celebrated his victory until they were restrained by their respective partners. Backstage, Yuusa was enraged. He didn't know what the hell was wrong with that old bastard. Maybe he was made at him because he's old and broken down. Better yet, why the hell was he and Kawate still lacing up their boots when clearly they were shells of themselves? He would never let these has beens take his title away from him. They should go home and be family men and not pathetic, beaten down old men. That's where Shibaunumo interrupted him on behalf of his veteran comrades. He reminded Yuusa that he was slipping into his past behavior. That Yuusa was a dishonorable man. He didn't need to go down that road again. The road that led him to become a man without a home.

Yuusa was just about yo calm down when out of nowhere, Shiriashi arrived with Kawate and threw his water bottle directly at Yuusa. Shibaunuo and a few staff members restrained Yuusa while Kawate did the same to his partner. This didn't stop Sanetomo from bad mouthing Yuusa. Was he really excited about pinning a kid, who although had talent, was a greenhorn? He noted that last time, he made Shibaunmo tap out. He remembered all the times Yuusa would rag on he and Kawate during his Kasou-Gun days and the disrespect he showed to his veteran friends in the past. Even back in his dojo days when he would visit, Yuusa would dismiss him. Did he really think he was worthy of being a champion? The fact that all his fellow peers in the Big Five had surpassed him yet he has never showed urgency to keep up proved he had no heart. He was an arrogant, lazy son of a bitch. He didn't belong in Puroresu, where veterans like he, Kawate and Shibaunumo had worked tirelessly for 30+ years respectively. KawaRaishi would show him what true Puroresu was about when they take the Tag Titles next week. Shibaunumo successfully managed to calm down Yuusa and calmly told his veteran comrades that they were wrong about Yuusa and wrong about the result for Fire Dream. The titles weren't leaving their hands until someone took it from their hands. Even if that meant beating his peers. "We'll see," Shiraishi simply said before KawaRaishi walked off.

Sakai would very pleased about picking up a victory. The last few shows had bee rough for him but INSPIRE's beatings on him didn't demoralize him. Fugunaga, in a rare moment, was actually happy, celebrating alongside his unitmate. He then told the press an important tidbit; he and Sakai were now officially a tag team. He felt this was the perfect time to become a permanent team and insert themselves into the mix. Together, they would show everyone why they should be taken seriously.

Hidekazu was revealed to be the mystery partner for Super Joshuya to little fanfare, although the older fans in audience did know who he was. Most didn't quite remember his face. After the match, despite the loss, Hidekazu humbly spoke. Twenty years ago, he was a member of the junior division when he suffered an almost career threatening injury. He was told he would never get back to this point in his career and. During his recovery, he thought about quitting because he never thought he could make it back to Burning Hammer. But after spending the last two decades recovering and working hard to adapt to his new circumstances, he was back. Joshuya commented that while he wasn't going to be around for all the shows during the tours, Hidekazu would be. He was proud of his friend for his perseverance and felt disappointed that he let him down in his first match back. Still, he was happy for his friend and looked forward to fighting alongside him in the future.

INSPIRE celebrated their victory to the press. Kikkawa spoke first. Saito showed why he was as almighty as they were. Even Burning Hammer's most decorated team couldn't measure up to Gods. It's a shame his old unitmate Hamacho didn't walk out with him when INSPIRE first left. His fate would have changed for the better. Then again, the Goddess didn't smile down on him like she does for INSPIRE. It took a special man to be blessed with omnipotence. It was a birthright. INSPIRE were the only ones fit for the throne and one by one, they would reshape Puroresu into its true form. Where the weak were eradicated and only the strong roam the land. Until the weak like Bulls of Fury, like Horri, like everyone were here, their vision of Burning Hammer was impure. Fire Dream was coming soon and it would be there where Horri's silly dreams would be destroyed once and for all. That's what INSPIRE was about. They crush the dreams of all with their bare hands and force them to deal with reality. The reality that they were merely human and that INSPIRE was immortal. One Rule, One Reign. INSPIRE: Gods Among Men, Gods Among All.

Before they left, Kikkawa urged Horri and the others in the main event to once again entertain him. Okazaki added that he hoped Miyamae had worked on his slaps from the last show. When their match comes, he wants to feel them at full force so when he put him out of his misery, it would be fun. If he needed to, he could come down to the ring and pat him on his bald head for encouragement. In any event, he mockingly wished him Good Luck.

Optimus was at ringside in the corner of Silver Fleet Rising during the main event. Sensational Dragon couldn't wait to get a hold of the microphone after pinning Elemental III. If this didn't prove that he was absolutely sensational, he didn't know what would. That was just a sample size of what was to come at Fire Dream. He needed to get rid of the sour taste Elemental III left in his mouth when he won the title off of Dragon last September. He told Elemental to emply the help of all the past Elementals and shine up that Junior title because it was coming back to him; the Most Sensational Junior of all time.

That's where Miyamae took the microphone from Dragon. He aggressively told the crowd that this was a sight they should get use to. The entire Silver Fleet Rising, including Optimus, unit were left in the ring to close the show. When Optimus came up to him last year and walked him to be the leader of this new Silver Fleet incarnation, Miyamae was skeptical. He had never been at the front of the front lines in his career. For years he was in the background. As a junior, he could never truly break out from the Optimus-Elemental III-Awesome Kiyaru stranglehold. he and Shimedzu often was regarded lower than Bulls of Fury in the tag ranks. He was done with being in the background and Silver Fleet Rising wasn't going to allow themselves to settle for that either. He heard Horri say the other night how the Seikigun would take this company to new heights. Well, Horri was wrong. Silver Fleet Rising were on the attack and they would break the INSPIRE-Seikigun-Kasou-Gun unit threshold. He then brought up his upcoming match with Okazaki. As a man, he wouldn't let his antics slide. He knew Okazaki thought he was a two-bit player. He knew he thought he wasn't tough. The way he treated Sakai; using his old Viper's Grip submission to try to intimidate him? He wasn't a punk nor was he someone that would put with his bullshit. Neither was Silver Fleet Rising. They were a new unit, but everyone excepts them to roll over. They wouldn't roll over to anyone. Fire Dream would be the start of their ascendance. American Panther would win the Junior, Dragon would win the Junior Title again and he promised to kick Okazaki's teeth down his ****ing throat. The Silver Fleet name had risen from the ashes like a phoenix. He encouraged the fans to support hem throughout the year as they soared to the top of Burning Hammer.

The Last Stop Before Fire Dream Goes Through Chubu!

The Yamanashi Athletic Stadium will host the final show before the first PPV of the Burning Hammer calendar Fire Dream of the Immortals. With just about every match penciled in, this is a last stop for some to gain some positive momentum going into the big night. The main event will see a battle of gaining momentum. After scoring a huge unit win over the Seikigun in the form of a tag team match, the Seikigun and Silver Fleet Rising will collide once more. Natsu Miyamae, Sensational Dragon and American Optimus of Silver Fleet Rising take on Kinnojo Horri, Elemental III and Marihito Masuko. Sensational Dragon managed to pin his opponent for Fire Dream of the Immortals in Elemental III. Another win over the Seikigun in some form would go a long way in establishing the newest unit in Burning Hammer as one of the best and that's what Silver Fleet Rising has a chance to do. Can the Seikigun counter from their defeat last show?

Kansuke Konda, the Big Fight Player, puts his name to the test in the semi main against the King of Fighters Champion Tasuku Iesada. Iesada will face Konda's unitmate Tadakuni Toshusai for Iesada's King of Fighters championship match and he will look to send a message to the Shocker by disposing of Konda. Konda, however, is known for his heart and his never ending fight and an upset would not only help Toshusai going into the PPV but perhaps set Konda up for a shot at the title down the road. A lot is at stake here.

Heihachiro Sakai and Mitisunari Fugunaga are officially a tag team after the events of the last show and we have info on their team name. The Sakai/Fugunaga pairing will be known as High Tension. The High Tension, however, has a tough foe in their path. The Burning World Champion Tadiyuki Kikkawa and new member Hirokuni Saito will stand across the ring from them. Sakai, in particular, has had a rough go against INSPIRE's members with their brutality and borderline cruelty crossing the line of being uncomfortable. Kikkawa is four days away from main eventing Fire Dream against eternal rival Kinnojo Horri for the Burning World Title and Saito came off an impressive debut at the last show. Can High tension score a huge upset against the self proclaimed Gods of Burning Hammer?

Rounding out the card we'll see Black Magic(Yasuhiko Taira and Yasunobu Masuno) and Ieyoshi Shimakage take on Bulls of Fury(Chuichi Sanda and Eiji Hamacho) and Fujio Narahashi. Speaking of Kasou-Gun, The Awesome Kiyaru takes on Hyosuke Kokan in a singles match. Both will be apart of the 5 on 5 Elimination All Out War between the Seikigun and Kasou-Gun so they'll look to soften each other up for their teams. Plus, Static Punch scored a victory over Dark Plague in where Kokan scored a pin over Scorpion. Kiyaru would gladly like to avenge his partner in that regard.

Hiroaki Nakasawa, Tadakuni Toshusai and Atsumori Takemura take one #1 contenders for the Burning Hammer Tag Team Champions KawaRaishi(Sessue Kawate and Sanetomo Shiraishi) and gaijin brawler Brandon Smith; the Campeon de Universal and newest member of Kasou-Gun Silver Tiger competes in his first singles match against The Incredible Koyama and finally, MYSTIC Force(MYSTIC Dragon & Shimedzu) and Reijiro Hiraki team up to take on Razan Okamoto, Yoshii Shiomi and VENOM in 3 on 3 action. MYSTIC Force and Shiomi & VENOM will face each other at Fire Dream of the Immortals and after the last show, it appears there might be a rivalry brewing between Hiraki and Okamoto. So this shall be an interesting encounter.

The two dark matches feature Bairei Yasujiro and White Samurai against gaijin newcomer KC Glenn and recent Hinote Dojo call up Toju Munkata. Also, Seikigun's Murai Enomoto against a man who's made it clear that every young lion is his enemy, the hostile Tatsuya Toshitala.
