Kudos to him for finding an act that generated some serious viral interest and using it to further his career. It's not like he pulled that out (erm, bad turn of phrase) in the middle of an otherwise 5* classic MOTYC. He knows what he's there to do, and I enjoy his stuff a lot. Peppermint Rage Posted March 20, 2016 Share Posted March 20, 2016 i think joey's fun, this specific spot has gone a bit far, i got a laugh out of the one where he won a battle royal by eliminating everyone else with it at once, because of the sheer absurdity, i think it's fine as a 1 on 1 comedy spot and should not be more than that. It's cringeworthy and a mockery towards the sports for sure, but not because it's "gay". To me, it would be just as horrible had it been his nose instead. It's up there with guys wrestling dolls, tiny school girls or invisible opponents to me; fun enough to watch 1 time on youtube - but it's not wrestling to me. He'll never be the best at any one aspect of the business, but I think he puts it all together well. When I first saw that video of him in Japan doing a hip toss with his junk was pretty much one of the funniest things I've ever seen in wrestling. I also totally understand why people disagree with me on this. He's the type of wrestling attraction that will never please everyone but definitely has a fanbase.
