<p><span style="font-family:Tahoma;"><span style="font-size:12px;">I love reading up on these posts. I'm in November 1991 of my WCW save, about to complete a full year in-game. It's been real fun and have the current things going on right now:</span></span></p><p><span style="font-family:Tahoma;"><span style="font-size:12px;"> </span></span></p><p><span style="font-family:Tahoma;"><span style="font-size:12px;">

Ricky Steamboat v Rick Rude© for the World Title at Starrcade</span></span></p><p><span style="font-family:Tahoma;"><span style="font-size:12px;">

Owen Hart v Lex Luger© for the TV Title at Starrcade</span></span></p><p><span style="font-family:Tahoma;"><span style="font-size:12px;">

Ric Flair & Arn Anderson v Barry Windham & Dustin Rhodes</span></span></p><p><span style="font-family:Tahoma;"><span style="font-size:12px;">

Jushin Liger v Eddie Guerrero© for the LW Title at Starrcade</span></span></p><p><span style="font-family:Tahoma;"><span style="font-size:12px;">

Sting v Nikita Koloff in a Street Fight at Starrcade</span></span></p><p><span style="font-family:Tahoma;"><span style="font-size:12px;"> </span></span></p><p><span style="font-family:Tahoma;"><span style="font-size:12px;">

Vader is my US champion, though I don't have a plan for him yet. I want to keep him a menace as champion, so I don't have anyone "worthy" of pinning him yet.</span></span></p><p><span style="font-family:Tahoma;"><span style="font-size:12px;"> </span></span></p><p><span style="font-family:Tahoma;"><span style="font-size:12px;">

While I've been sticking to the realistic WCW roster for the year I'm in, I'm not passing up on amazing talent where I'd be an idiot to pass up. Both The Undertaker and Shawn Michaels have signed, and will debut in 1992.</span></span></p><p><span style="font-family:Tahoma;"><span style="font-size:12px;"> </span></span></p><p><span style="font-family:Tahoma;"><span style="font-size:12px;">

I don't have a plan for the Tag Team championship yet. I've been building Harlem Heat and gave them a 1-month run earlier in the year, the titles are back on the Steiners.</span></span></p><p><span style="font-family:Tahoma;"><span style="font-size:12px;"> </span></span></p><p><span style="font-family:Tahoma;"><span style="font-size:12px;">

It's been fun. I do post in the TEW 2016 Dynasty forum if anyone wants to </span></span><a href="http://www.greydogsoftware.com/forum/showthread.php?t=543237" rel="external nofollow"><span style="font-family:Tahoma;"><span style="font-size:12px;">check it out</span></span></a><span style="font-family:Tahoma;"><span style="font-size:12px;">. This game is turning into an obsession...</span></span></p>

Going into Halloween Havok 1995 and here’s my card

Brian Pillman ( C ) Vs Rey Mysterio Jr for the WCW Cruiserweight Title

No major storyline here. After being the first WCW Cruiserweight champion Pillman declared himself the best lightweight worker in the world in which the newly signed Rey Mysterio disagreed setting this up.

DDP ( C ) Vs Shane Douglas for the WCW World Television Title

Douglas debuted at the beginning of the month winning his first match then immediately calling out DDP. He won again on Saturday Night and called him out again. The following Monday DDP attacked him in Catering telling him to never mention his name again because he’s not worthy of tying his wrestling boots.

The Steiners Vs Harlem Heat ( C ) for the WCW World Tag Team Titles

After drawing at Fall Brawl these two teams have unfinished business only now the belts are at stake. On the Monday after Fall Brawl Harlem Heat defeated just one day old champs American Males to take claim of the Tag Titles. Right after The Steiners were out to claim first in line to set up their rematch from the PPV before.

Sting and Savage Vs The Taskmaster and Zodiac

Two victims that have fallen into the Dungen of Doom/Hogan Saga are Sting and Savage, after being apart of the winning team at Fall Brawl in War Games (Hogan, Sting, Savage, Luger.) The Taskmaster has decided to not only end Hulkamania but WCW as a whole and the first step is Hogan’s boys.

Ric Flair and Arn Anderson Vs Jim Duggan and Mike Tyson

So here’s one of the main attractions and it involves none other than Jim Duggan. So this started leading up to Fall Brawl when Flair interrupted a Duggan promo telling him nobody is paying to see him they want the Nature Boy. A week later Arn and Flair reconnected jumping Jim backstage, leading Jim the next week on Nitro to declare he has backup if the try this again. In the main event of the go home show for Fall Brawl we had Arn Vs Duggan at the end Flair ran in and started to attack leading to Duggan’s backup The Baddest Man on the Planet Mike Tyson to come out as they scattered. Fall Brawl is here and we have Flair with Arn in his corner Vs Duggan with Tyson in his. Flair wins via a tainted win and has a staredown with Tyson after, Flair points his figure in Tyson’s chest and lets him know this is his business he needs to stay where he belongs then Flair chops Tyson. Tyson snaps knocking out Flair, Arn, and three officials who try to break it up. The WCW suspend Tyson for three weeks but we get video packages of him and Duggan training with Don King as King issues the challenge to Flair/Arn.

Hulk Hogan ( C ) Vs The Giant for the WCW World Heavyweight Title

Hogan is still caught in this Dungeon of Doom hell with the latest monster sent at him the 7’3 son of Andre The Giant known as The Giant. Giant attacked Hogan on the first show after Fall Brawl and knocked him out of action. Hogan has had sporadic appearances giving health updates and will make his in ring return at Halloween Havok.

Well it's Jan 2022 so that's 6 years completed in game.

SWF are going from strength to strength.

The Cornell vs Hawkins feud dominated the second half of the year with Hawkins taking the strap at Christmas Clash. Those two finished 5th and 4th in the Power 500, the highest placement one of my guys has ever had.

Mushashibo has won Wrestler of the Year 5 out of 6 times now which is getting a bit tedious.

I had my best awards year ever though, Promotion, Match, Event, Young and Veteran wrestler, Manager and Commentator.

Xmas Clash was my highest ever rated PPV. (Why didn't I get on Reverie sooner?)

Mainstream Hernandez is in his second run with the North American belt.

The NBTs (Next Big Things) Callum Nelson and Casey Valentine are the tag champs.

Weirdly I've got one of the Bumfholes teaming with Jefferson Stardust because their tag partners went to USPW.

Only thing I can't work out is how a TV six man tag with a cheap finish won me Match of the Year? I was busting my ass off trying to get PPV A* main events all year.

<p>Something weird and terrible just happened.</p><p> </p><p>

Low Ki was in a big feud with Homicide against Sami Zayn and Chris Jericho in my TNA save. He randomly tore his meniscus on a throwaway TV main event but he's working through it even though it's a year long injury and he has no surgery options to get it repaired.</p><p> </p><p>

It's not a huge loss because Low Ki was never going to challenge for the World Title or anything but he was a solid hand in my upper midcard.</p><p> </p><p>

I don't know what I'm going to do with the tag belts. Jericho is too old to hold onto for them to any serious length time and Zayn is one of my up and coming Main eventers.</p><p> </p><p>

This really threw a wrench in my midcard plans for atleast a year.</p>

<p>IWA Mid South 2006 Top Programs April 2006</p><p> </p><p>

Ian Rotten Vs. Jimmy Jacobs</p><p> </p><p>

All over the infamous Jacobs shoot promo in November of 2005. After losing the title to Hero in a 3 way in January, Jabocs was recast as a face who didn't have the trust of the locker room, before ultimately being fired by Ian in March. He's since been showing up randomly and causing chaos. The angle is about to get interesting as it's actually all about Jabocs redemption.</p><p> </p><p>

Ian Vs. Chris Hero</p><p> </p><p>

Hero is a douche. He believes himself the measuring stick and has started shit with Ian. He's already got a win over him, so now it's all about Ian stacking the deck against the Champion. Chris has had matches with Necro Butcher and Trik Davis, hell the Necro match was a barbed wire match, but thanks to Jimmy Jacobs causing a distraction he came out ahead. Chris has also continued to **** with Davis, and injured Arik Cannon at some point, all with Claudio helping along the way.</p><p> </p><p>

The BLKOut Vs. Iron Saints</p><p> </p><p>

Kingston's alliance with the Saints has blown up after costing them the tag titles to Delrious & Matt Sydal. After coming up short against them several times, he's gone and brought his buddies Ruckus and Sabian to watch his back. The first match saw the BLKOut come out on top, the second descended it chaos. I hate the Saints so this is building to their last match together shortly.</p><p> </p><p>

Tyler Black Vs. Josh Ambercrombie</p><p> </p><p>

Former friends feuding over the Lightheavyweight title. Black finally got the big win in a ladder match, then seemed to move onto a program with the debuting Trent Acid only for Josh to win a number one contender 6 way TLC at Hurt. Josh attacked Tyler after his successful defense vs. Acid to let the world know this isn't over.</p><p> </p><p>

Other things going on...</p><p> </p><p>

Drake Younger & CJ Otis Vs. Vulgar Display of Power (Deranged & Brain Damage)</p><p> </p><p>

Really all about Drake stepping up. Damaged and Derange keep murdering the kids.</p><p> </p><p>

Chuck Taylor Vs. Ricochet</p><p> </p><p>

They debuted as a team, Chuck quickly turned... It's going on in the background really but as the year goes on it'll be more important.</p><p> </p><p>

I've got local TV now, just an hour in a shitty time slot, inspired by current Beyond it's pretty much a weekly Indy show. Events are shown on YouTube for now as the game does a bad job understand the tape trading concept of real life at the time so it's legit the only way to be relevant throughout the country.</p><p> </p><p>

Necro has a dream match vs. New Jack coming up...</p><p> </p><p>

And I'm in the process of bringing in El Generico and Human Tornado as a team to tear it up vs. Delirious & Sydal</p>

Decided I should give the early 90's a go, so I imported SWF graphics and made Trump the owner as part of a silly backstory I had where he lost a bet with Ted Turner to open a promotion (and then the game decided to replace Trump with a new owner... you guessed it, Ted Turner, thanks TEW).

I started them at just about Cult size and with a lot of cash, then began to sign one of my favorite rosters I ever had in TEW:

My first big target was the best heavyweight of all time - Vader! Easy enough, no written deal so I snatched him.

I then had an email saying a certain marquee star has his contract expiring. After quite a short and easy "battle" I signed him, and immediately made him figurehead, but I'll get to him in a moment.

I then finished off the rest of my Main Event scene:

Rick Martel and Tito Santana make up a veteran skilled babyface tag team contrasted by the vicious duo of Terry Gordy and Steve Williams, known as the Doctors of Death and managed by the legendary Paul Ellering.

Rounding them out are Butch Reed (who I need to find something to do with, probably start the Nation), the veteran technician (and father of the greatest female wrestler alive irl) Tully Blanchard and Bob Backlund, our inaugural Supreme Champion.

To this great main event scene I added a great tag division, with long time names like Rock n Roll Express, The Heavenly Bodies, The Fantastics, The Armstrongs and The Samoan Swat Team (Haku, Samu, Fatu and Tama), and some newer names like Thrillseekers (Jericho and Storm) and The Executioners (Ahmed Johnson and Tony Atlas).

I also have a solid women's division for the era, lead by Wendi Richter and Bull Nekano but with up and comers like Jacqueline, Ivory and Debbie Malenko, they do a solid job.

And yes, I even have some wrestlers who aren't in a division! Owen Hart, RVD and Kid Kash, Brady Boone, Yokozuna, the greatest jobber of all time Barry Horowitz (who got mad when I jobbed him to Yokozuna lol), Bam Bam Bigelow, Cactus Jack and more to come.

I also signed a working agreement with the trending ECW, lead by the new head Booker, revolutionary Paul Heyman, and began a veeeeery slow invasion angle, starting with the victory of ECW's own Shane Douglas over the inaugural European Champion, Owen Hart. I'm planning this invasion to be 3-5 years long, so not much will happen short term, but the story will be that Paul Heyman "planted" his talent in our company in order to slowly gain success without raising awareness, but once they gain enough power, they will start the revolution.

The HARDCORE Revolution.

But there's one more name I signed, quite possibly the biggest gamechanger of this save, and he came in the first month, too.

That man, is quite possibly the best there is, best there was, and best there ever will be.

Yes, Bret goddamn Hart. He never signed the 10 year contract in this timeline, ooooo no, he was lured with a promise to be the actual face of the company, not a shadow to HBK, no ego games, nothing.

Vince showed his true self when in his replacement, Lex Luger was brought in a massive shock as he was the reigning World Heavyweight Champion, leaving WCW with a big hole to fill in their main event scene.

Currently building up to our first Supreme Challenge (SWF's Starrcade for you non CV guys) in a couple of months, which will feature matches like Rock 'n Roll Express vs. Doctors of Death, Shane Douglas vs. Cactus Jack, Strike Force vs. The Samoan Swat Team, and the main event, Bret "The Hitman" Hart vs. Big Van Vader.

Interesting, as I've recently considered doing the same with AEW. Which mod did you use? I'm leaning towards using 1994.

This is my favorite thread. I read all of the real world ones I see, as well as many of the longer, more thorough CV posts, as well. I love seeing all of the different things people do.* I dream of posting a long breakdown of my game after I wrap up Wrestle Kingdom, but the game is moving at a snail's pace because I lack the dedication.

*For example, I have literally never considered playing as IWA Mid-South, yet somebody is doing exactly that. Remarkable. One hell of a roster they put together, too!

Here we go again with my 1991 Rising Tides game, this time coming to you from Wrestlemania VII! Or, as I entitled the huge event, Wrestlemania: The Mega Rematch!

Just a quick background, I’m in the midst of rebuilding the WWF roster, especially the midcard. Pushing out the old, less talented guys and replacing them with younger, quality guys. Particularly, I want to establish a better tag division. I plan on having my roster looking significantly different by Summerslam ’91.

Also, you’ll see some thrown together tag teams. Well, that’s because of my plethora of failed drug tests (Hard Drugs & Pain Killers) and injuries). I’ve had plenty of them!

Pre-Show

The Guerrero Brothers (Hector & Eddie) defeat Brooklyn Brawler & Mark Rocco. (51)

Haku wins a 20 Man Battle Royal. (58)

Main Show

In a Six Man Tag Team Contest, Road Warrior Animal, Tito Santana, & Shawn Michaels defeated Paul Roma & The Powers & Pain. The finish came when Santana hit Roma with the Flying Forearm. (73)

Oh boy, this match. First off, both Road Warrior Hawk & Marty Jannetty are both in rehab after failing drug tests (Hard Drugs & Pain Killers). Animal began teaming with WWF newcomer Nikita Koloff in the midst of his feud with the Powers of Pain. Meanwhile, Tito Santana & Shawn Michaels united, as both had their issues with Power & Glory. Thus, two tag team matches were set for Mania.

Or so I thought! In the week leading up to Mania, both Nikita Koloff & Hercules Hernandez got injured! So, I just threw up my arms and tossed both tag matches together and made a Six Man Tag. Ta Dah!

Jim Duggan defeated Brian Pillman after hitting the Three Point Stance Clothesline. Pillman was out for revenge for his partner Steve Austin, who was blinded(?) after accidentally being hit in the eye by Duggan’s 2X4. Eyepatch and all, Austin attempted to interfere to help Pillman, but the attempt backfired, setting up Duggan to get the win! (67)

Jerry Lawler defeated Rick Martel. The Heenan Family has been a thorn in Lawler’s side ever since The King rejected Bobby Heenan’s offer to join the stable. Particularly, the newest member to the family, Rick Martel. Lawler finally gets some sweet satisfaction, as he plants Martel with the Piledriver for the 1,2,3. Post-Match, Heenan is so disgusted with Martel that he leaves the arena without his latest family member! (77)

The Nasty Boys defeat Bob Backlund & Greg Valentine. The two cagey veterans keep up with the rowdy young team, but they don’t consider Jimmy Hart at ringside. That leads to their downfall, and to the Trip to Nastyville for the 3 count. (79)

The Undertaker defeats Terry Funk. Funk made a surprise return to WWF, answering Paul Bearer’s “Grave Challenge” for Wrestlemania VII. Alas, Funk cannot bring Taker’s undefeated streak to an end. A timely thrust to the throat leads to the Tombstone Piledriver and the 1,2,3. (77)

Ricky Steamboat defeats Ted DiBiase. One of the hottest feuds in WWF, Steamboat gets some revenge after their first encounter, when DiBiase came away with the cloudy victory. Steamboat keeps DiBiase down for the 3 after a beautiful Cross Body from the top rope. (97!)

Steve Williams defeats King Kong Bundy. Williams already had one win over Bundy, a count out victory. That loss didn’t leave a good taste with Bundy, and it led to Bundy assaulting Williams during a Heenan Family. This time, Williams puts Bundy down for the three count, cementing his spot as a rising star in WWF. (78)

Law & Order (Sgt. Slaughter & Big Boss Man) defeated Jimmy Snuka & Kamala. It looked like the wild savages were finally going to get some revenge on their long time rivals, but The Mountie would interfere, assaulting Kamala with the shock stick! This would allow Slaughter to lock on the Cobra Clutch for the victory! It looks like the duo of Law & Order might possibly be a trio now! (81)

The Ultimate Warrior defeated Razor Ramon via Disqualfication. The masked man who had helped Randy Savage defeat Warrior for the WWF Title turned out to be undefeated newcomer Razor Ramon. Ever since losing the gold, Warrior has been on an absolute rampage, so we all knew what to expect here! Facing such a crazed madman, Ramon would get himself DQ’ed by attacking Warrior with a steel chair. Warrior would recover and send Ramon fleeing after a melee. This is clearly far from over! (82)

Jake Roberts defeats Mr. Perfect to become the NEW WWF Intercontinental Champion! In a tag team contest, The Snake planted Perfect with the DDT for the 1,2,3. The question was now, could he do it one-on-one with the IC Gold on the line? The answer? Yes! Perfect controlled most of the match and became overconfident, leading to the DDT out of nowhere! Roberts would celebrate his first ever WWF Title victory with Damien, while Perfect laid out cold in the middle of the ring! (99!!)

The Hart Foundation defeated The Natural Disasters to retain the WWF Tag Team Championship! Jimmy Hart’s continues to be desperate to prove he is the man that made Hart Foundation a successful tag team. The Nasty Boys failed to prove his point, so he created the Natural Disasters, turning Tugboat into Typhoon to team with Earthquake. The mammoth duo would terrorize the Tag Champs for a month, leading to this title match! Well, size isn’t always the answer, as Bret & Anvil overcome the behemoths to retain the gold! Once more, Jimmy Hart has to watch his former team celebrate in victory! (82)

In the Main Event of Wrestlemania VII, Randy Savage defeats Hulk Hogan to retain the WWF Heavyweight Championship! The Mega Rematch is everything it is meant to be, including Hogan coming out to the ring with Savage’s former manager, Miss Elizabeth! Once again proving to be the two best wrestlers in the world, it comes down to the dirty tactics of the Macho King. Hogan kicks out when Savage hits him with Sensational Sherri’s loaded purse, but when Savage launches himself from the top rope and clocks Hogan with the royal scepter? Even the Hulkster cannot get up from that! Dirty tactics or not, Savage gains himself some revenge from Wrestlemania V! (100!!!)

Overall PPV Score: 97!

That’s all folks! Maybe I’ll post my King of the Ring show if I’m satisfied with my roster. Otherwise, I guess the next stop is Summerslam ’91!

<p>I started a for fun only Dragon Gate save(for fun only meaning I use the editor constantly), and, 7 months in, we're nearing the first ever Summer Adventure Tag League. It hasn't been announced yet, but the winners will also be crowned Open the Twin Gate champions. In real life, Masato Yoshino & Naruki Doi won the first tournament(in 2007) and then created the belts, but that's not the kind of stuff I enjoy. It started in 2006 with the Shifting Sands mod as well as a ton of guys imported from RWC and also Johnny Saint.</p><p> </p><p>

Well, the units all vowed to make a change of sorts in the new year. CIMA's Blood Generation said they would no longer play nice. They weren't playing nice before either, but I am not studied well enough in this period of DG to know if they were already estabilished as the top heel unit.</p><p> </p><p>

Final M2K also vowed to return to their sucessful origins, and to grow stronger as an unit. This came particularly with K-Ness being injured at game start and Ken'ichiro Arai missing two months not long after. M2K got themselves a very strong reinforcement in Chris Jericho, but have still failed to find the sucess they wanted.</p><p> </p><p>

Do FIXER came in hot following Ryo Saito's King of Gate win, with Dragon Kid also being the Brave Gate champion. Saito, however, failed to win the Dream Gate in his first challenge at Primal Gate in January. This led to all of them, but particularly Saito, vowing to work harder than anyone else to achieve their dreams.</p><p> </p><p>

Pos.HEARTS meanwhile is in a transition of sorts, trying to find a footing. They did capture the Triangle Gate titles and have held tightly to it, which is more than anyone but BloodGen can say, but still haven't yet achieved the heights they can. Thus, a rebuilding period has started. More on that later.</p><p> </p><p>

The americaboos Daniel Mishima, Michael Iwasa, Jackson Florida and Johnson Florida decided to bury the (assumed) hatchet and formally become an unit after going 3 months without getting booked whatsoever, simply calling themselves the U.S. Express. President Takashi Okamura and pretty much the whole roster doesn't seem to be taking them seriously, so now they're busy trying to find a way of gaining recognition.</p><p> </p><p>

The company toured from January to May, then took a break in June and came back in July for Kobe World. Before the break, however, Dragon Gate President Takashi Okamura, seeing as the company started to sign quite the number of non trueborn stars, announced a free agent unit draft with the deadline being the Crown Gate show in May. The units spent 3 months scouting possible additions, and each of them(except the U.S. Express) could announce their two picks at Crown Gate. The SATL was also announced, with 4 blocks of 4, then a semi-final and final round. It's kinda dumb but that's something I never did before.</p><p> </p><p>

Blood Generation initally played the draft off as being useless, as they are already the srongest unit in DG. However, someone over there seemingly had a change of heart, so the Brahman Brothers(Brahman Kei & Brahman Shu) joined, and look to prove their worth in the Summer Adventure Tag League. Their toughest challenge will no doubt be Final M2K's duo of Chris Jericho and Ken'ichiro Arai, who, despite a lack of tag experience, are no doubt skilled and smart enough to pull off the win. Well, Jericho is.</p><p> </p><p>

Speaking of Final M2K, their paths crossed with that of Akira Tozawa. Tozawa, alongside his partner Katsuo, came in with extreme young guy cockiness(I kinda decided to forget what their actual gimmicks were at that time). At one point, it seven seemed Tozawa was ready to ditch Katsuo and move on to bigger and better things. The arrival and quick ascent of Chad Collyer, however, put his plans to halt. Collyer tapped Tozawa out with the deadly Cloverleaf and then went on to rack 18 straight wins in Dragon Gate, with his victims including Milano, Doi and Yokosuka. Tozawa ate a huge humble pie and even rejected Masaaki Mochizuki's initial advance saying he couldn't join M2K and leave Katsuo behind as he wasn't ready yet. At Crown Gate, Tozawa pinned Collyer, ending his streak and sending him back to ROH for the time being, and both him and Katsuo got a spot in M2K and the SATL, where, on the very first day, they will face Brave Gate champion Dragon Kid and Dream Gate Champion Ryo Saito, Do FIXER's representatives.</p><p> </p><p>

Do FIXER seemed in a perfect position at the start of the year. Despite only having 4 members, one of them was the first King of Gate winner, one was a Brave Gate champion, one had shown lots of prowess in trios matches thus giving DF the hope of holding every title in Dragon Gate simultaneously, and one was Naoki Tanizaki. However, Ryo Saito lost to Magnitude Kishiwada in the title match, and his tag performances with both Kid and Genki Horiguchi started to decline. His reaction came after, seeing how Kishiwada handed the challenge of Masaaki Mochizuki with apparent ease then went on to convincingly beat Dragon Kid in a special Champion vs Champion bout, realizing it was his fate, after all, to be the one to become Dragon Gate's symbol for the future. He won the Dream Gate in Kobe World, but not before adding the exciting new duo of Atsushi Kotoge and Daisuke Harada to Do FIXER's ranks. This choice was perhaps the most surpising of all of them though, as despite showing great chemistry, both these guys barely have a month of tag experience. They will fight the Pos.HEARTS duo of King Shisa and Super Shisa in the first round of the SATL.</p><p> </p><p>

Pos.HEARTS, on the other hand, was in bad shape. Milano Collection A.T. came in as a face but his return was overshadowed by Jericho's debut. Magnum TOKYO has definitely lost his spot among the top three, which he once shared with Masaaki Mochizuki and CIMA. Anthony W. Mori has been failing to really do anything. BxB Hulk was supposed to be their own super rookie but hasn't hung around the main event for a while. So they went into the draft thinking about the future. King Shisa and Super Shisa realized that what Pos.HEARTS needed wasn't the pure talent of Hulk, their experience, Mori's great fashion and gourmet sense, or even the techincal prowess of Milano. Rather, they needed new blood to build into future stars of the wrestling industry. Thus, Shachihoko Machine was drafted into his mentor's unit. He has no intentions of staying in his shadow, however! The other draft pick was newcomer Yuki Sato. Sato has been in a rivalry of sorts with fellow rookie Yujiro Kushida, who does seem very upset at not being drafted. Sato & Machine are tagging up for the SATL, and their first round opponents are the much more experienced Brahman Brothers. </p><p> </p><p>

The U.S. Express, unlike Pos.HEARTS, are soon gonna reach the conclusion that what they lack the most is talent, and thus will bring the best talent that the best country has to offer - Chris Sabin! The idea is to use them as an excuse to bring in more ROH & TNA & PWG guys, and have everyone and their mothers say "Hey, this guy is Canadian!" when Tyson Dux shows up.</p><p> </p><p>

Two other wrestlers have made themselves talking points too. The mysterious loner Mondai "Problem Dragon" Ryu(who didn't adopt this gimmick until 2011 irl but let's ignore it) didn't take part in the draft and flat out refused to wrestle tag matches. In one such occasion, Okamura decided to teach him a lesson, but wound up defeated. In the one tag match he actually showed up for, Ryu abandoned his teammates(Shachihoko Machine and Yujiro Kushida), thus handing then a Count-Out loss to comedy jobber Stalker Ichikawa. To top it off, one of Ichikawa's partners for this match was Yuki Sato himself!</p><p> </p><p>

The other one is Yasushi Kanda. He had, presumably, been forced to retire and had been working as a crooked ref, until it just...stopped. He didn't show up at all for the entirety of May, but returned at Kobe World to demand a welcome back from newly crowned champion Ryo Saito. He is currently a free agent and doesn't seem interested at all in buddying up with no one since the whole roster took the chance to abuse him in his brief ref days, but perhaps he is just playing mind games with the fans and future enemies.</p>
