Once tag team experience reaches a certain point, the experience overrides the chemistry bonus and it no longer adds anything. So for teams that are already experienced, it really shouldn't matter. And for several of the teams listed, they weren't really "chemistry teams". They were teams with two good workers who worked well together after they gained some experience. That's the experience bonus in play. Positive chemistry is when a team is better as a combo than their skills should allow them to be. I don't think that's really the case for teams like the Brothers of Destruction.

However, if you go into the database of TGA and check the chemistry section you'll find that there are several entries that seem to have been included for the sole purpose of ensuring that certain workers don't have bad chemistry with each other, either as opponents or a team. That's more what I had in mind above. </p><p> </p><p> For example, Hulk Hogan/Andre The Giant, Ric Flair/Terry Funk, Ric Flair/Dusty Rhodes, Ric Flair/Harley Race, Barry Windham/Ric Flair, Saturo Sayama/Dynamite Kid and Kobayashi/Misawa all have their chemistry set to "Neutral" as opponents. While the Steiner brothers have their chemistry set to "Neutral" as a team. I think all of the teams I listed above should also have their chemistry set to at least Neutral so people can recreate common/popular teams in their saves without having to worry about being hit with an "awful" or "zero" chemistry note. Sure you could just ride a negative chemistry team out until their experience overrides it, but I think that's a poor alternative to just having popular/well known teams set to at least Neutral at the start of a mod.</p><p> </p><p> To me it kind of just goes back to what KingOfOldSchool said above about Cena/Punk. If they can take the time to go in and set Cena/Punk to having great chemistry as opponents, I think they should have at least set all the significant tag teams to having at least Neutral chemistry. I'm obviously not suggesting they should have taken it as far as adding teams like ShowMiz, Hogan & Edge, Regal and Tajiri or Booker T and Goldust, because you've got to draw the line somewhere or a real world mod would take forever. I think it could easily be universally agreed though that teams like LOD and the Dudley's are significant enough to warrant inclusion.</p>

The experience doesn't overrride the bonus, it just negates the penalty for negative chemistry. I think the number is 40 Experience and it will cancel out any negative chemistry, you'll still see it in the dirt sheet but it makes it practically a non-factor in determining the grade of the match. You will always get a bonus if the workers have good chemistry. Also, chemistry doesn't grow with time, it's just a natural thing that occurs. Even if the Midnight Express have been together for years at this point, they could still have bad chemistry. But having so much experience makes it seem like they don't, like the fact that they have bad chemistry doesn't affect them because they've gotten to know each other over the years.</p>

This main event must have been a highly entertaining brawlfest. <img alt="" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/eek.png.0e09df00fa222c85760b9bc1700b5405.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p>

That's what I disliked about the Golden Age mod. The first time I started playing a game with the mod, the Midnight Express had zero chemistry as a team. Considering they had been for a few years by that time, they should have had their chemistry pre-set as excellent. Yet, for some reason they felt the need to have CM Punk and John Cena's chemistry pre-set.

Needless to say, I backed out of the save, went back and set up numerous chemistry notes in the database, then started up a new game.

Bobby Eaton and Stan Lane hadn't even started teaming together yet at the beginning of TGA. They formed that month. I agree they should have positive chemistry, but you're wrong about how long they were together. Bobby was teaming with Dennis Condrey up until March of 87 according to Cagematch and did some six man matches with Stan years prior.

That went better than expected.</p><p> </p><p>

That tag was just a throwaway because I knew the main would be good. I also thought the main would get an 87/89 because Savage is 46 but he proved me wrong.</p><p> </p><p>

That tag match was the best match in WCW history and this random episode of Thunder was better than the last two Starrcades (Starrcade '97 won card of the year too.)</p>

Reached the point of domination to no return in my PGHW save, though SOTBPW and USPW are still juggernauts as well. Decided to have a special "joint" show at the end of the year to showcase some of the non PGHW talent. I'm especially proud of the mixed tag match because those teams just seem so perfect, but I'm really proud of the matchups and especially the ratings for this out of the people who aren't regulars with us.</p><p> </p><p>

Obviously no BHOTWG talent for self explanatory reasons, though Kaneie Komine is back in power and snagged Kudo from me (after I bought GCG) to be his booker once again</p>

Ok it's may 1995 and "Ravishing" Rick Rude has just returned from his "could-have-been-career-ending-injury" making a surprise debut at NWA Smokey Mountain Wrestling Volunteer Slam. Rude is the biggest free agent at the moment and with this SQ boost he would most likely be a real power player for WWF in the upcoming Monday Night Wars that is yet to start. If Vince signs him...</p>
