I am currently playing the C-Verse 2005 Mod and the date is Week 2 of July.

 

I am playing as Tommy Cornell for TCW and I was able to get Sean McFly from North of the Border. He has huge popularity in the US (~93) and now I am thinking of a proper gimmick, starting idea and good (new) profile picture with some character. Has anyone an idea?

<p>I've decided something to try with a recent real world mod. Considering that there's no July 2016 mod yet. I'm planning this with the WWE Women's Division....</p><p> </p><p>

After defeating Becky Lynch at Battleground, Natalya attacks another woman during a match, that's it until a woman from the crowd decides that "Enough is Enough" and defends the woman in question from Natalya and tells her that she has become a bully and must be tought a lesson, also stating that she is disgusted for the way she treated Becky. Natalya laughs at such remarks and tells her to leave unless she wants to end up hurt, the girl gives her a taste of her own moves, provoking Natalya enough, but before the situation escalates the woman is escorted outside the arena while a few road agents restrain Natalya.</p><p> </p><p>

The idea would be someone who's supposed sign to either Smackdown or RAW, but it must be a woman who's an already established wrestler, looking to sign to either brand before the incident happens.</p><p> </p><p>

Any suggestions?</p>

In the SWF I was planning to form a Nexus-like group of people who have issues with the management. The Crippler and Spencer Spade seem perfect for this idea due to Crippler being pissed off about his former gimmick and Spade being stuck so long in developmental. I'm not certain who else would be good for it though, since obviously it's going to need more then two guys.

<p>Okay, new to TEW after several years of (unsuccessfully) dabbling with EWR. Currently got the 2016 demo and the real world mod for July. </p><p> </p><p>

I'm thinking of attempting an invasion type storyline (been watching a lot of NWO on the network) made up of disgruntled ex employees of the WWE. </p><p> </p><p>

I'm thinking I'd have a figurehead come out after a Raw main event to kick start it all. He can come out and rant about how the WWE never used him to correctly and how this is the start of an uprising made up of pissed off ex employees. I'm not sure who this figurehead will be - I was thinking CM Punk because I would like someone who can talk and wrestle, but I'm also considering having it just be a manager type person like Heyman. </p><p> </p><p>

Week after week more people would join and as the group grows, they approach current members and try to get them to join. Very similar to the NWO storyline, really. </p><p> </p><p>

No end goal in sight, just play it and see what happens. </p><p> </p><p>

My main issue is I don't really watch modern day WWE. I read recaps and follow the news, but I'm not as familiar with the wrestlers as I am with those several years back. So my dilemma is whether I do use the real world mod for July 2016 or if I go for something like a 1998 or early to mid 2000s mod. I would like the competition with WCW that a 1998 mod would offer me. </p><p> </p><p>

Anyone attempted anything similar?</p></div></blockquote><p> </p><p> Use Shelton Benjamin,some ex-WCW and ECW guys(most were misused in WWE) and The Social Outcasts.In this mod Punk won't work for you(Relationships)unless your UC is not a McMahon,I believe.Also use your jobbers.That should be enough(Remember what happened with the last multi-man stable in wrestling.Don't go overboard).Have them interrupt Main Events and important matches and also attack random people backstage.Then the other wrestlers start confronting them.Survivor Series is a good place for a Twist.</p>

Great on the mic, great in the ring, probably around the C/C+ pop range. Maybe have a storyline where Owens constantly nags at Mick Foley, or whoever your Raw GM is, about not giving him opportunities. Then maybe one day, Owens takes it too far and puts his hands on Foley and gets fired. A few months later have Owens come back with a vengence with some friends, beating the hell out of everybody until he gets his way.</p><p> </p><p> As for disgruntled ex-employees, these would fit the list:</p><p> - Drew Galloway</p><p> - Ryback</p><p> - Matt Sydal</p><p> - EC3</p><p> - Johnny Mundo/Morrison</p><p> - Rey Mysterio</p><p> - Cody Rhodes</p><p> - Damien Sandow</p><p> - Stu Bennett (Wade Barrett)</p><p> - Alternatively, you could sign the Young Bucks because they teamed with Owens numerous times before he signed for WWE so they have history, I think they were in a stable called Mount Rushmore. <p>Martel or Bockwinkle?</p><p> </p><p>

I (Verne Gagne) am coming into the March '85 Supercard and these are my big matches-</p><p> </p><p>

1. World Title- Bockwinkle (heel Champ) vs Martel (former babyface champ)</p><p> </p><p>

Martel lost the title at the January Supercard to Bockwinkle. Bockwinkle beat Martel in the rematch with a foreign object.</p><p> </p><p>

I'm not sure who to put over here. Martel is my most popular wrestler, reallygood in the ring and really good on the mic and getting better in both. Bockwinkel is fantastic on the mic but he's 50 years old and losing a few steps in the ring. My concern with putting the strap back on Martel is that he gets too big of an ego backstage because he's still young (28) to be 'the man" for the AWA. Bockwinkel is slipping but he can last another 3-6 months as the Champ if needed. If Martel loses I might have him change his focus to tag team possibly forming the Can-Am Connection with Tom Zenk.</p><p> </p><p>

Bockwinkle beat Martel in the rematch with a foreign object.</p><p> </p><p> I'm not sure who to put over here. Martel is my most popular wrestler, reallygood in the ring and really good on the mic and getting better in both. Bockwinkel is fantastic on the mic but he's 50 years old and losing a few steps in the ring. My concern with putting the strap back on Martel is that he gets too big of an ego backstage because he's still young (28) to be 'the man" for the AWA. Bockwinkel is slipping but he can last another 3-6 months as the Champ if needed. If Martel loses I might have him change his focus to tag team possibly forming the Can-Am Connection with Tom Zenk.</p><p> </p><p> 2. Take the risk of him gaining an ego, you already said he's great on Mike and in the ring, and still improving. Bockeinkle is 50, this sounds like a classic pass the torch. Bockwinkle can transition to ME gate keeper and go after some singles title or tag with a green guy. Plus, let's say Martel grows a big ego, think of the storylines it will help write with the real life drama lol</p><p> </p><p> And best case scenario he turns into a great leader and you have yourself a cash cow, figure head for at minimum a decade, Alla hogan or cena</p>
