<p>About to kick off a 1991 game with WCW. Thinking about what to do with Hall and Nash.</p><p> </p><p>

As the game starts, they'd be in as Diamond Studd (Hall) and the Incredible Oz (Nash). Studd wasn't too bad a gimmick, all things considered, but Oz was a flop from day one.</p><p> </p><p>

So, I'd like some ideas on how to repackage Nash in particular, but Hall as well. For preference, era-appropriate movie-inspired gimmicks would be welcome as Ted Turner has the rights to a lot of old movies he can rip off for characters... <img alt=";)" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/wink.png.686f06e511ee1fbf6bdc7d82f6831e53.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> </p><p>

I also have the WCW Special Forces (Firebreaker Chip and Todd Champion) on board, and would appreciate suggestions for suitable workers/gimmicks to expand the group.</p>

Maybe pair him with Michael Wallstreet and York as a "special enforcer" who eventually gets more powerful than his handlers -- a tweener who gets over on raw power and no-nonsense approach.</p>

<p>So I kicked off a game with the montreal aftermath save, right? I feel its a good time to prepare some changes, make some tag teams, new storylines, etc etc but mainly I want to repackage people and overhaul the roster, the people I want to repackage are</p><p> </p><p>

The Truth Commision: Recon AKA Bull Buchanan, Kurrigan and The Jackal, maybe break them up</p><p> </p><p>

Los Buricas, Miguel Perez Jr and Savio Vegas</p><p> </p><p>

The Disciples of the Apocolypse: Chainz, Skull and 8 Ball</p><p> </p><p>

Bart Gunn</p><p> </p><p>

Steve Blackman</p><p> </p><p>

Goldust</p><p> </p><p>

The Godwins</p><p> </p><p>

Mark Mero</p><p> </p><p>

Brian Christopher</p><p> </p><p>

also people for the main storyline of Austin vs McMahon, with The Rock, Ken Shamrock, Shawn Michaels, Owen Hart who I am gonna push. As for my preference, I want to do stuff that was not done at the time yet would be appropriate.</p><p> </p><p>

Also I need gimmicks/names for people I plan to bring in, Steve Corino who will be working an anti hardcore gimmick, Christopher Daniels under the fallen angel or something like it, James Storm as the cowboy as well as making an alternate version of the brood, I know this is a lot to ask for but I am confident that the people of GDS will help me out.</p>

<p>storyline lists</p><p> </p><p>

Hey guys, just downloaded the trial version of TEW 2016, starting with TNA, trying to make them better. Will play my 2 months of trial time then decide if I want to invest in the full game. In the meantime, I need some storyline ideas. I know at one point there used to be some downloads for storyline ideas, can anybody direct me to that, and can anybody give me some quick ideas on TNA, such as who to get rid of, backstage rules, etc etc?</p>

Just started WCW in the Montreal Aftermath mod and looking for ideas.

I'm starting to do what WCW should have done and had a turnover in the main event in 1998.

These are the guys I'll either release or have lower on the card.

Jim Duggen (Midcard, to release)

Ric Flair (ME to fall down the card)

Roddy Piper (ME, Down the card)

Hogan (ME, Fall down the card but he's currently the figurehead.)

Rick Martel (Midcard job out and release)

Lex Luger (ME, Release, I really don't like him but he has to much pop to waste.

Randy Savage (ME, showing his age and need to be winding down.)

Hall/Nash(I don't want them featured as Main guys, will keep near top of the card but mainly used in tags or to put over younger guys as solid main eventers).

I would like Bret, Hall, Nash, Sting to be the focus whilst i build up others between end of 97 and of 98

I would like: Jericho, Beniot, Eddie, Raven, Liger, Booker T, Regal to be pushed to the top. This doesn't include the guys i hope to steal from WWF, Owen, Rock etc

so yea looking for ideas for the Flairs and Hogans etc to put over the Jerichos', eddies etc

Initially i'm thinking

NWO: Hogan, Hall, Nash ,Savage, Regal vs Eddie, Jericho, Flair, Booker T Benoit.

With Flair helping to put over Regal by the end and rest of NWO

putting over Eddie, Y2J,Benoit, Booker.

Ending in a war games match

This will hopefully enable the winners to be solid Main eventers.

Jericho will turn on his friends the next night on NITRO, saying he used them to reach the top and now he doesn't need them... feuds with Sting

Having been defeated Hogan gets kicked out by Hall/Nash. Savage leaves NWO and starts going even more insane.. (Hardcore MADNESS Randy Savage) Regal forms his own little group vowing never to be a number in a group but to always lead.

Flair and Regal will enter a singles feud to get Regal further over.

Outsiders will leave for a bit and come in as a surprise entrant in the tag tournament.

Hogan will leave for a bit and come back as Real American Hogan and save a face in a midcard feud. Perhaps Have Hall/Nash return, beat down a younger guy with Hogan making the save. Hogan looking for revenge on outsiders.

Hall used to look a lot like Burt back in the day and was obviously great at playing cool bad boy types. Terminator 2 came out in 1991. Nash could maybe work as a cool mostly silent terminator who kicks a lot of butt. That's kind of what Diesel was I guess.</p>

Perhaps Have Hall/Nash return, beat down a younger guy with Hogan making the save. Hogan looking for revenge on outsiders.</p></div></blockquote><p> </p><p> I'd have Hogan turn face and lose a career vs. career match. I'd have Hogan return under a mask (a slightly less conspicuous Mr. America) -- say, as "Rolling Thunder", a sort of outlaw/vigilante character similar to Dusty Rhodes Midnight Rider gimmick maybe even using the same music. It'd work here as Hogan has yet to become "Red-And-Yellow" and he'd be a "defender of WCW" or "Mr. WCW" -- I'd personally go with a beige-and-tan simple outlaw mask with a cowboy hat. </p><p> </p><p> I'd consider two people to have Hogan lose to. First, a face Hogan can lose to Nash, and further the outsiders vs. Hogan. But I'd personally have him continue with the nWo and lose a career vs. career match with Ric Flair after being turned on by the outsiders -- and have him "reappear" to get revenge. I think it would make the Huckster "WCW" instead of "WWF". Ric will be over and have good momentum -- I'd actually do this going into his feud with Regal. </p><p> </p><p> I'd have Hogan unmask after winning either a Mask vs. Hair or a Mask vs. Career match with Scott Hall -- he's near useless in the ring at this point and needs to bleed popularity. I'd consider using him as the outsiders "manager" who occasionally gets "involved". I'd do this on PPV, preferably at the Great American Bash, if not, Bash at the Beach or Starrcade. </p><p> </p><p> You might consider Savage take a "Foley-esque" insanity gimmick -- essentially, a "gentle madman" face -- I think Savage could easily play the "split personality" gimmick playing both the "Macho Man" and a mankind-type insane character. </p><p> </p><p> Using this, you have a "patriotic superteam" to put in War Games -- which can should be 5 vs. 5. Start with Macho Man and Hulk Hogan, the "mega-powers" and add patriotic "Surfer" Sting. Perry Saturn has a real-life military background and starts with heat with Raven, so a commando gimmick makes sense -- he'd "play by his own rules". I think Rey naturally fueding with Eddie could be a great "American Patriot" entrant. He has natural heat with Rey. </p><p> </p><p> Booker T could always pair with Saturn. I thought, given what he had to work with, he did the G.I. Bro gimmick justice. A better and toned down look where he works with Saturn -- I'd personally have play a commando/mercenary -- aviators, 5-o'clock shadow, and a camo outfit that he takes off to reveal camo trunks and black leather boots -- a real badass.</p><p> </p><p> Pair the up-and-coming faces with Savage, Hogan and Sting to leech off popularity. </p><p> </p><p> I'd stack the other side with whoever else you want to push. I'd actually have Regal and Flair join forces -- sort of the handshake respect between heels after the match. Raven would be fueding with Sting, and eventually will turn him back "to the dark side" -- with Sting eventually putting Raven over. Raven would be the "uneasy", unpredictable guy in the feud and eventually will cost his team the win -- but they'll look strong in defeat and beat down the faces, and come out on top in the post-match feud. </p><p> </p><p> I'd book it similar to the Vampiro-Sting feud. Violent, bloody and dark and brooding. </p><p> </p><p> Asd for the last two members, Eddie makes sense paring with Flair and Regal -- a "cool heel" with some sex appeal -- and I'd put Benoit in last to play up the "uneasy allies" angle with the heels. I'd have Chris as a mercenary brought in to win with wrestling prowess -- he'd start under Flair's employ. </p><p> </p><p> I'd personally go with Mysterio, Saturn, Sting, Hogan and Savage against Flair, Eddie, Benoit, Raven and Regal. </p><p> </p><p> If you include Rey Mysterio, Eddie is a natural foil. I think Saturn [or Booker T] vs. Eddie could go well if the United States title is thrown into the mix -- with Eddie taking the title from the "patriotic american" to garner heat, with Eddie possibly holding both the Cruiserweight and the United States title -- storylines with both faces. </p><p> </p><p> As for Jericho, I'd bring in Lance Storm and re-form the "Thrillseekers" and play off the two workers real-life friendship. I'd have some form of the Hart Foundation [bret & Bulldog, Bret & Anvil, or Bret & Owen], preferably Bret & Anvil, face off against them in a "best tag team" match, with something to prove. Have Lance & Chris pick up several victories over successful WCW tag teams -- Steiners, Harlem Heat, The Outsiders and The Nasty Boys come to mind -- before Bret and Anvil decide to end the fun. The two teams have classic matches and eventually the Thrillseekers come out on top. </p><p> </p><p> The Outsiders </p><p> </p><p> This gives us:</p><p> Perry Saturn and Rey Mysterio or Booker T vs. Eddie Guerrero </p><p> Hogan and Savage vs. Regal, Flair and Benoit </p><p> Sting vs. Raven</p><p> Chris Jericho and Lance Storm vs. Bret Hart and Jim Niedhart</p>

<p>Hummm, Flair, Regal and Beiot could easily be brought in as th 4 Horsemen. with someone else who fits th bill... Beniot the enforcer, Regal plays the Windham role, Flair in Flair and as the 4th man Maybe Malenko as the Tully. </p><p> </p><p>

Jericho/Lance v Hart Foundation sounds good but it feels lik a waste to have Bret tagging at this point when h's first in as one of the most over guys in wrestling. It makes sense for him to be fuding and help end the NWO... and then once that has occured do the tag team thing.</p><p> </p><p>

Perhaps. </p><p> </p><p>

4 Horsemen (Flair,Benoit,Malenko, Regal v NWO (Hogan,Hall, Nash, Savage/ Bagwell) v Hart Foundation (Bret, Bulldog, Anvil and Teddy Hart/ Bruce Hart/ Jericho and/or Lance</p><p> </p><p>

Sting v Raven ( and his Flock) - Nice idea</p><p> </p><p>

Eddie v Roddy Piper (you think you're dirty kid, you think your cool ...well Rowdy Roddy Piper invented dirty and he invented being)</p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p>

Booker T v Buff Bagwell or Lex Luger.</p><p> </p><p>

Hogan loses the title to Bret the PPV before the wargames match that shows cracks in outsiders trust in the Hulkster so aftr they loose the match at wargames they turn on Hogan and they do as you suggested.. Hulker comes in masked and gets revenge on the outsiders. The Outiders- even to the NWO lose and disband the outsiders stick together and continue to harrass. Out comes Masked Hulk to be pro WCW.</p>

Adds a bit of "intrigue" with Bret, who is Davey's real-life brother-in-law. </p><p> Savage could always reprise his "Macho King" gimmick, and Flair could be a business partner -- a bit of a "king's court", per se. </p><p> Either way, with Flair and Regal involved, it makes sense to either have DiBiase manage them or bring in "Handsome" Harley Race. </p><p> I'd go with Bulldog, Regal, Flair and Benoit. </p><p> For the Hart Foundation, there should be plenty of "fourth men" able to fill the roll. I'd actually put Tyson Kidd in the role if he is active. Kidd trained under Bret, so Bret would be more willing to put him over -- I'd have him as "Tyson Hart" a Kayfabe brother. Roddy Piper is related to the Harts, both in real life and kayfabe (see his Wrestlemania 9 Promo) and would make a great addition to the family. I'd consider Teddy Hart third -- he has major attitude problems and a push could tank backstage ratings. Bruce Hart is always a possible addition. </p><p> I'd probably have Eddie face off with Flair in some fashion -- I think from what you're trying to achieve, Flair is a better fit than Piper. Maybe have Eddie in an opposition to the Horsemen as DDP was to the real-life NWO? He could definitely fit the bill.</p>

Playing a WWF Golden Age game, I'm building up to WrestleMania III, playing out the various historical feuds when Billy Jack Haynes gets busted for steroids. Love it. I didn't suspend or fire him, not with this Full Nelson Challenge coming up, so the press got wind of the story and my prestige took a hit. Now... what do I do? Or, realistically speaking, how might Vince McMahon of 1987 have attempted to make lemonade out of this steroidy lemon?

The natural thing to do: turn Billy Jack heel, right? Maybe you could push a steroid abuser as a tweener face in the Attitude Era, but this is the Golden Age. So I'll turn him heel, and probably change his gimmick from Bad Ass to Man Beast, playing the notion that steroids have unhinged him to the point where he'll periodically fly into animalistic rages.

When? I could turn him on the very next TV show, having him lose it on Mean Gene during at an interview, manhandling him when the question of steroids comes up. But then I have a heel vs. heel match at WrestleMania, which doesn't seem so fun.

Instead, I'm thinking of having Billy Jack apologize to the fans for his bad judgment and humbly ask for their forgiveness going forward. Meanwhile, Bobby Heenan starts cutting obnoxiously self-righteous counter promos about "Billy Jerk" being a cheater and a coward, so in fear of Hercules, he's willing to take any shortcut he can. Then, in their Full Nelson Challenge at WrestleMania, we pull off the double turn, Bobby Heenan suddenly betraying Hercules, turning him face. In a later interview, Heenan gloats about his new acquisition, praising Billy Jack as "a man with a killer instinct, he'll do anything to win."

From there, I push Billy Jack as a monster heel and potential Hogan-killer. Hercules gets to spend the rest of the year feuding with Heenan and various members of the Heenan Family.

Plausible? Fun? Some better way to go?

EDIT: This save is hilarious. Two days later, Hercules has also been busted for steroids! Now what do I do?! Half-inclined to just fire them both (probably what would have happened in real life.) Otherwise, what am I booking after WrestleMania? A steroidal monster heel tag team?

In TCW. So, I just split up the Canadian Animals at the last PPV and teamed up Freddie Huggins with Jay Chord, working as muscle for Rich Money. Now Jay Chord is leaving for USPW in 3 weeks - 2 shows and a PPV in the middle.

Edd Stone is teamed with Matt Keith as a Face now... I can finish the Chord story nicely, but what do I do with Huggins? Who should I pair him with?

I may wind up restarting anyway.... 7 wrestlers stolen in the space of 3 weeks.

<p>I'm currently building to a (hopefully big and great) Main Event between Mr Lucha III and El Mitico JR, Mask vs Title. El Mitico JR won the latest tournament and then upset Champagne Lover in his guaranteed title shot, making him one of the most popular workers in the US in the process. He's working a 'Wrestling Machine' gimmick, and says nothing but kicks lots of ass. Lucha III is running in my main heel stable, consisting of rich snob Second/Third generation wrestling stars, lead by Jay Chord and also featuring Matthew Keith, Greg Gauge, and Casey Valentine.</p><p> </p><p>

I intend for Mr Lucha III to lose their first match, and then put his mask on the line for a rematch. Lose that too, go babyface when Legacy turns on him and beats him down and kicks him out, and give him a big redemption arc leading toward a title run.</p><p> </p><p>

I found a picture for him in the files that I really liked. </p><p> </p><p>

I just need a name/gimmick. Anyone got any ideas?</p><p> </p><p>

EDIT: Some information about my product... It's very straight forward and serious. Light on the angles, but no 'simple' gimmicks.</p>

Having seen the error of his ways, he now feels that the only way he will deserve to hold the belt again is if he turns all of his former allies to the light. He can light a candle each time one of them does something evil, and refuse to use his name, saying that he has taken this new one out of shame.</p>
