Small Questions Thread & "Living FAQ"

Yeah, that's what I thought. What about at portraying faces and heels? I have a guy who is mediocre at both face and heel. Will he improve, or is that stuck as well?

That tends to be pretty set too it seems.

Actually, face/heel ratings can improve fairly rapidly. In my RTG game, my user character's heel rating went up from 20 to 80+ in about 18 months. (50ish shows.)

It's perfectly possible, even in performance based companies, for matches to rate well above the limit after you consider popularity, storyline heat, title prestige, crowd heat, announcers, chemistry, etc, etc, etc.</p><p> </p><p> All the limit does is makes it harder for Angle and Benoit to pull out a MOTYC in a 15 minute filler match on Smackdown (for example).</p><p> </p><p> </p><blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="41194" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div>Adam seemed to mention somewhere that incidents are isolated in TEW16, yet the "take no action" option seems to suggest they aren't (based on the game text). Incidents aren't linked in the way that one incident doesn't cause another to be more likely to happen, or lead to another incident in a chain. Like, if someone damages a rental car, the person who's car was damaged isn't then more likely to start a fight with him or anything. </p><p> </p><p> But the way you handle an incident certainly has an effect on the worker's likelihood to misbehave again. If you take no action at all, the worker involved will become more of a dick and as a result is more likely to misbehave again, thinking they can get away with it (unless it was something that didn't deserve any action, like a fart).</p><p> </p><p> I fired someone for a fart once. That was fun. I believe the tactful term is "lost the locker room". <img alt=":D" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/biggrin.png.929299b4c121f473b0026f3d6e74d189.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png"></p>

<p>Apologies if this has come up before, and it won't be exclusive to 2016, but it's about how long you have to wait before re-signing leavers.</p><p> </p><p>

I'm Cult, and some of my workers were on Touring contracts in Japan, and they kept being fatigued when I came to run my TV shows and events. So I locked a few choice workers in Exclusive PPA contracts to make sure I was the only one working them hard. Only now some of my workers got offered Touring contracts, and they've accepted those and now walked out on my company. Two of them were Main Eventers! Lol...</p><p> </p><p>

So how long are they going to be out of my life before they'll consider a contract with me? <img alt=":(" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/frown.png.e6b571745a30fe6a6f2e918994141a47.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p>

I was thinking about the whole Cena/Owens feud.. I know you can't have an actually feud, but best way to (kind of) reenact the whole saga would be to keep the development champion (Owens) in development and bring him up every show to face mainstay (Cena) correct? Or can you only bring up the development talent every so often? I hadn't tried this yet so I was wanting to know if it was possible or if there was another way of doing it.

<p>Is there a guide to how long matches need to be to avoid penalty?</p><p> </p><p> </p><p>

Half of my match get the time penalty which is kinda annoying Most of my matches get a penalty already when they are between 10-13 minutes for guys upper midcard and under</p><p> </p><p> </p><p>

Some matches are getting gapped at 61 and 74 FYI</p>

In the developer journal it states that "Their success of failure can impact their popularity" in regards to MMA fights. I was wondering if anyone has experienced any changes as Christopher Ball has taken, and won, two fights in my game and there has been not any noticeable change. Which is a pain as he takes like three months off so he isn't on the developmental shows, so he isn't gaining any overness during that time and it just makes me wonder if he is worth it.

What is the function of stables in game?

I haven't used in 16, so not sure if it's been changed, but as stable could have it's own momentum which helped members get over. Think of old NWO and some of the guys who weren't particularly big or popular, but who gained some reflected glory by appearing with and being part of a group like Hogan, Nash, Scott Hall etc. It's also benefits the big name guys too by keeping them over. That is how I've understood it to work but it may be different now.

I think it might work differently now, because stables don't appear to have momentum anymore.

<p>At Small, are you better off trying to minimize the production penalties?</p><p> </p><p>

It looks like financially, it's advisable to take the production hit early on - if that is indeed correct, what would be the ideal time to start investing in that?</p>

When dealing with the broadcasting element of the game. Especially in historical mods would you want every broadcaster to be "covers home area". Would the big networks not have to cover home area? Is there a cut off or an easy breakdown of it all?

is there anyway to do a 2-day event? I bought out MAW and have enough people to make it a good to 32 man tourney for the Rip Chord invitational, which I plan to continue, though I'm debating if it's staying ME or moving to the midcard. Not too familiar with how it was used in MAW, may have too look at their history.
