Romans_Brass_Shovel
Pop=Performance What exactly is being rated when your product is rated equally on popularity and performance? Does it just mean that someone with low pop won't be able to put on a good match unless against someone with high Pop? I've made sure to hire the best in ring workers that also had charisma and star power and have put on a few 90 rated matches, but I'm looking to get to that 100.
mrwhippy
Well if you have someone who has 100 for whatever is being rated but has 0 popularity, then in a pop=perf product you would expect a segment rating of 50 (not accounting for extra bonuses/penalties). Likewise for pop>perf the same person would score <50, and >50 for perf>pop.
mikemajestic33
So I am having a problem in my game of raising PWG past size Small. In this case, you can keep it simmering by having Angle cut an occasional promo against Cena where Cena doesn't appear, and it will count for the storyline. If you keep it hot, when Cena comes back you pick it right back up full steam and keep the benefits it gives for matches.</p>

Dr_Avalanche
I can at least answer one of those. The dirt sheet can be activated in user preferences. It will show everything that provided a bonus or penalty to the grade of a match (or angle, I think). If the crowd was hot, if the worker had momentum, if they had good chemistry, etc.

A simple 150x150 logo can be slapped together in Paint or GIMP with just a simple set of initials. won't be pretty but it works. You can also try a good old fashioned Google search for the initials - never know what it will turn up. You might find a logo from some company somewhere that you can resize. </p><p> </p><p> 2. The dirt sheet is super helpful as you are learning the road agents notes and trying to improve that aspect. Definitely recommend using it. </p><p> </p><p> 3. I don't typically run smaller companies so someone might correct me here, but generally speaking you want the best road agent you can afford. Its not so much about putting on better matches - at really low popularity levels, even increasing your main event match an entire grade (it won't have that big of an impact) would likely have minimal impact on the popularity growth you see from the show. But a strong road agent helps your talent improve their Psychology, which helps you in the long run. </p><p> </p><p> 4. Well, popularity goes up gradually as you put on good shows. If you are getting a note saying the show increased your popularity, great success! But its a very slow process, especially if you are starting out at a really small size. Prestige bumps as you grow, I believe (totally not sure on that) and if you are still pretty small (local or small), you aren't going to have much prestige, because why would you?</p>

You'll find plenty of logos. You can download the WMMA4 demo and use some of their logos (it has a similar folder structure to TEW). equinox10
Hey all, I have a question about product settings. This may be more of a general booking question but I think it relates or complicates the game to some extent. Say you have a performance over popularity fed but you still want to run angles, storylines, feuds etc. So the emphasis may be on the matches, but there are still outside the ring shenanigans and blood feuds. Now, if you want to blow off a feud with a brawl based gimmick match (think first blood, Texas death, falls count anywhere etc.) does the blow off match rate poorly because the hardcore setting for your product are very low or non-existent? I ask because in 2013 I remember having a problem with this where, even if I had two strong brawlers in a gimmicks match it didn't seem to rate well. I'm trying to channel realism to an extent here because in old school style rasslin feds and even in very heavy performance oriented feds like ROH there have been really good brawling gimmick matches to end storylines and feuds. Anyone else have a problem with this? Does hardcore need to be set a little higher to simulate this properly?
Tag01
1) I know angles can improve some skills, but what skills can improve? I understand menace and sex appeal can't. Can charisma? Does the skill the angle is judged on determine what skill might be improved? 2) do wrestlers get boosts in topline stats only when wrestling against someone with a high skill, or do they learn from tag team partners? I've got a guy I want to boost his brawling and wondering if a tag partner that brawls well would help.

soluuloi
How much of a difference is a road agent going to make to the quality of my matches? Almost everything. Look for someone with high psychology as it's the only important stat for a road agent. If you are a small company, someone with 70+ is good enough. sportsfanmas
I have a couple questions regarding tv shows. I'm using a 1997 mod, and my first 2 shows have both had ratings over 10.0. That seems way, way high to me. Is that just a flaw in the game, or were ratings really that high back in the late 90's? Also, do tv shows take into account commercials? I'm thinking not, because on a 2 hour Nitro or Thunder, I'm actually booking 115-125 minutes of matches, angles, interviews, etc. In reality, with commercials added, I would probably only be booking about 90 minutes of stuff. Does that make sense? If I want to be more in line with reality, should I make my shows hour and a half long instead of 2 hours? I find myself having trouble going through the given angles and finding enough that sound good to add to my show, because right now I'm not using storylines, so nothing I do really has a lot of heat. What is a good work around here? Thanks.
