Gungner
Look at the Players Handbook in your office, and click on Dispositions & Turns... It tells you everything about how long (ie. how many segments) is too long or too short.

Anything below 4 segments (angles and matches) are shock turns. Above 4 are slow turns. More than 25 segments will annoy the fans, so if you prepare the turn at week 1, December, then you have to keep Reigns under 25 segments until 'Mania, which I suspect will be really tough to do.

Gungner
You can do a game recovery, on the "load game" screen, which will bring your save back a week.

Gungner
Can a title's prestige have an effect on the overall match rating, both positive and negative? I'm asking because I had a title match (title prestige: 78, main event title) where my two workers were really popular, had in-ring work in the 90's and the match scored an 89, but the title hasn't moved in prestige. I know it goes up or down depending on match ratings, but can it impact an overall rating?

I have a save where I own all of the women's wrestling companies in the game world and they're all in my alliance and I've had no issues. I'm guessing the only possible issue might be if the alliance is a Consortium. Game might choke on splitting the money and then returning it all to you but I don't know that for sure (never tested it).

Are there any other effects (apart from overness loss and momentum loss) of having wrestlers lose a lot?

Stigma, maybe? There was a feature in TEW13 where if a worker lost too much, you'd have to build them back up since the fans will see them as, essentially, a loser. Not sure how many losses it takes but that's the only possible downside I can think of.

Can a title's prestige have an effect on the overall match rating, both positive and negative? Or at least, it probably won't change it to the degree that you'd see it tick up. You might have gotten a decimal increase but not enough to bring it to .5 or higher (so it would round it up in the title screen). If you're that concerned about it, check the title's prestige in the editor before you book the show and then check it again afterward.

But yes, a title's prestige can have either a positive or negative effect on a match's rating (per the dirt sheet), depending on the prestige and the match rating(s) where the title is contested. So can storyline heat.
Irish Wolf
So how bad are the Face vs Face and Heel vs Heel penalties if you have a face heel divide. I have definitive faces and heels but I have them similar dispositions face each other often.
Gungner
So how bad are the Face vs Face and Heel vs Heel penalties if you have a face heel divide. I have definitive faces and heels but I have them similar dispositions face each other often. I've never done a heel vs heel match, but I have run face vs face feuds, and my last face vs face match (Hogan vs Piper) scored a 99 rating. So if the penalties are that huge, it must have been one h*ll of a match. Out of experience, all my face vs face matches have scored very acceptable grades. I'd imagine the penalties for heel vs heel are bigger?

How long it's going to take for that to become obvious or for them to start complaining depends on their spot on the roster, who they lose to and their personality. It also depends on their contracts and whether you've promised to use them in a specific way.

Since you're doing this as part of a storyline, protecting the losing wrestler (via the "Protect" road agent note, flash pins and non-decisive match endings) is one way to limit overness/momentum loss while extending the time before they start complaining. Remember that protection imposes a penalty on match ratings, if this is your top storyline and matches are main events, it might impact your show rating.

How do you use Tournament Belts and Tournaments?

During the designated month/show, I've seen the AI book the whole show as a tournament, meaning the winner wrestles 3 matches in the same night. I avoid overusing my workers like that, so I break it up into 3 shows: 2 shows before, the quarterfinals take place, then next show is semi-finals and the final match is the Main Event of the final show. Don't think there are penalites or a righ/wrong way to use tournaments, must be more of a hint to the AI to book a certain way.
