Playing a 2005 game...

What's the best way to run an ECW One Night Stand event? I.e. because it will be ECW wrestlers with only a few of the WWE guys how do I run it without losing popularity?

I will be bringing ECW back as a brand but hopefully much more successfully than WWE did.

The wrestling industry, the show grade compared to your current popularity, how the show is being broadcast, etc. 1 pop in 3-4 months isn't that bad if you're doing one show a month. A national company that runs a show a week and a PPV can have trouble gaining 1 pop a month consistently.

My question:

When should you be tweaking a gimmick to freshen it up? Is it better to freshen it up at the first sign to stop it from dropping too fast or waiting until it's a big problem?

I can't find a place that you can do it within a save file you've already started though if that's what you're looking for.

^ This all sounds right, I've been tweaking immediately most of the time unless they have a legendary gimmick, might have to be a little looser with it though.

Another small question:

Does anyone know the price levels for increasing size on a created broadcaster in the US and Canada? (ie, x million for none to tiny, x million for tiny to very small)

Basically, I started an international PPV channel to give myself PPV coverage in the places I wanted to expand into. I want to eventually give it coverage in US and Canada but don't want to downgrade from the huge coverage I have with the current provider so I'm wondering how much it'll cost to upgrade those areas to be comparable

The crowd is buzzing but the rating is just worse on average. Do the workers don't fit the "epic" or "spectacle" prerequirements? They have good psych and decent entertainment skills.

And what does the "give some encouragement" do in the long run? Due to the positioning in the dropbox, I assume it's the lowest level of positive reinforcement, but I could be wrong.

How long does simmering tension last?? I know in previous games it lasted 6 months, but it seems like it lasts longer in this version.

A couple of my egotistical main event jerk wrestlers turned the entire locker room against a female wrestler in July. it is now March of the next year and simmering tension is still there. I was able to meddle some tension away from it. but any help is appreciated. Thanks.

It will eventually disappear though, contrary to other worse dislikings, like hatred. All you can do is wait it out. It's probably related to the involved wrestlers personalities. Mending can make it worse if those workers involved do not have good personalities.

Hi! I had assumed for a long time that positive momentum can help you gain overness, the same way negative momentum can slow or prevent your overness gains. I was pretty sure that had been written about back in TEW2013? But when looking at the help prompt for momentum, I noticed it only mentions that "negative momentum can slow a worker's ability to gain overness, or even stop it entirely if the momentum gets low enough." No mention of positive momentum speeding your overness gains. And it's nothing I've ever seen anyone mention testing before.

So my question is, does positive momentum cause you to gain overness faster, or not? Is anyone 100% sure about that? If it doesn't, what (if anything) does positive momentum do? Other than providing a bigger buffer before you're into the negative.

How does a User character foster positive relationships? Is it just limited to making positive comments about members of your roster after shows?

As part of the same issue, are User characters limited in the types of relationships they can form? If I constantly praise the same person are we likely to become friends? If I keep hugging the same person (sounds a bit creepy tbh) are we potentially going to start dating? If I keep knocking somebody I presume it leads to negative relationships?

However, handling certain backstage events have resuted in Simmering Tension or Dislikes so I guess positive relationships could be formed in a similar manner, by turning a blind eye to certain people or punishing hard anyone who has an issue with them.
