I'm very close to going national I believe, I've got 6 areas with 65 or more importance and 2 areas with 64 or 63. You need 8 areas with 65+ to go national.</p><p> </p><p> Yet my networkpartner will not give me the prime time timeslot or even the late evening timeslot (the one before late night)</p><p> </p><p> This brings me to another issue. I'm very close to going national, but should I want to go national in the first place?</p></div></blockquote><p> </p><p> Going National might help you get into primetime actually. In addition to that it opens you up to bigger and better broadcasters in general, ones who pay real money.</p><p> </p><p> You can also get more tv shows down the line as well whenever you need. Hitting National is basically smooth sailing from there once your roster is locked in written deals.</p>

That depends. Are there other national companies? You will have a short grace period, where you don't compete with them in national battles. But after that is over, and they are way more popular than you, and your show grades aren't better than theirs, you will end up losing the national battle (= pop, momentum = money) and might even drop down to cult again.

What people usually suggest around here is capping your popularity if you'd run against a much larger company at national level, build up a war chest and wait until you can go on spending spree (production values if needed, workers, etc) once you level up.

Thanks guys!

There are no other national companies, so I would have an easy ride when I get there.

My main competitor has been losing pop, but is not far off from going national as well.

I've got a war chest and have good production values already and my workers are equal to my competitor

I'm going for a it!

You can also set the year to be whatever you want it to be, same with the month. In the game, it is under options. If you're in the database before starting a game, it is under database info.</p>

I’d recommend medium or low if you start that early though. You’d run the risk of burning through all your free pictures and then the world will be populated by faceless workers, if that matters to you.</p>

<p>Is there a way I can force a wrestler to retire by messing with the in game editor? I know I can just set their status to Retired Wrestler but I've done this before and the worker never ended up in the hall of immortals as a result. Will they just immediately retire if I set all their physical conditions to 0? lol</p><p> </p><p>

For reference I'm in 2011 and I want to simulate Edge's real life retirement.</p>

Look up the Muta Lock, it should be that if I remember correctly. Which is also Sam Keith and sons' Proton Lock. <img alt=":)" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/smile.png.142cfa0a1cd2925c0463c1d00f499df2.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" />

Cross the legs like an Indian Deathlock, then bridge back and lock in a Crossface-type hold. I guess?</p>
