They probably have much more charisma than Andre

Look at the description to see what they’re looking at. Star power, charisma, and overhead seem to be the biggest factors. Maybe psychology too?

Yep. First off, they must have a main eventer push. Then, star quality, charisma, popularity, and in-ring skill (in an overall sense). I did an experiment once with 5 workers, one being my figurehead. Figurehead was #4 on the franchise player list even with 100 popularity worldwide and 100 star quality. Edited her performance skills to be on par with the other 4 and she immediately rose to the top.

Thanks for the clarification. I really feel like Andre is my top guy so that's quite the conundrum for me. I was gonna have Andre win the inaugural Rumble in 86 and face Hogan at Mania and win, putting the title and keeping his undefeated streak alive to rub off onto someone else. Idk if that's the right thing to do now. Storyline wise, it feels like it, but business wise maybe not.

It sounds like you probably also raised your Modern up too, which is the usual cause of that issue. <img alt=":)" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/smile.png.142cfa0a1cd2925c0463c1d00f499df2.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" />

What's Daredevil set to?

Thanks for the replies, fellas. I've checked out the default product.

Low Traditional & Mainstream, Medium Modern, Key Realism, Low Lucha Libre, Medium Pure & Very Low Daredevil.

The product on the save in question only has Medium Traditional & Mainstream with other aspects the same. It's what I've run in other games and I do not have the usual penalty for the fans not liking low risk matches. That's what you see in CZCW and SOTBPW games, when Modern is set to Medium.

It sounds like a problem but I'd be reluctant to call it a glitch.

SORTED IT OUT:

It's a silly problem, of my own making. I'd put in a brand split for my juniors and heavyweights. For some reason I gave my junior brand a Modern focus...

So I've got another Burning Hammer game going but I've got a problem that I haven't seen before.

I think the prblem is the content risk on the match selection screen. When I play as ECW I copy 1v1, 2v2, etc and and up the content risk to medium or high. You have to make sure your broadcaster will show the matches though

<p>Is it possible to over push a wrestler in TEW? I don't normally run Small/Regional companies so I've run into a weird issue that I can't solve.</p><p> </p><p>

One of my wrestlers has been stuck at 41 popularity in a region for the last seven months and can't gain any popularity no matter how many matches he wins or how many times he beats guys more popular than him.</p><p> </p><p>

His push has dropped from Main Eventer to Midcard despite not losing popularity and having maximum positive momentum.</p><p> </p><p>

Is it because he's been on too many cards or won too many matches?</p><p> </p><p>

I've started bringing in wrestlers more popular in that region for him to squash but that also hasn't improved his popularity at all.</p><p> </p><p>

Do I need to have him lose a couple of matches to reset his momentum or what?</p><p> </p><p> </p><p>

I could see him being overused in that region but I've had him win matches in other regions on televised shows and it still doesn't grow his popularity at all.</p><p> </p><p>

Do I just need to not book him in a region for a while or what? This is driving me crazy. I can't figure out.</p>

<p>The maximum level of popularity a worker can gain is capped based on the exposure level of the company. This is tied to company size (local = tiny, small = whatever is above tiny, I forget) and scales up for each size. This can be overwritten by having a broadcasting deal of a higher level which allows you go gain more popularity... and the whole system stops workers in local companies from reaching 100 popularity, which could actually happen int he past despite how nonsensical that could be. <img alt=":p" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/tongue.png.ceb643b2956793497cef30b0e944be28.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> </p><p>

As for his push level dropping, he's just not as popular as some workers on your roster in that area OR his particular style gets a lower than normal push in your particular product, meaning other workers are getting bumped up ahead of him.</p><p> </p><p>

In all cases, the only real way to increase his popularity is to raise your company size or get a better broadcasting deal. If neither are possible, he is pretty much capped there for now and you can probably put that level of popularity to good use in helping raise the popularity of others. <img alt=":)" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/smile.png.142cfa0a1cd2925c0463c1d00f499df2.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p>

<p>Quick question: If I cancel a TV deal, will I be able to negotiate and make deals with other networks?</p><p> </p><p>

I once had an issue where I couldn't sign with other networks, because of a previous deal. I don't remember if I cancelled a deal before that issue or if I failed to produce good enough shows.</p>

I want to start off by apologizing if I post this in the wrong place and for my super noob question.

I had TEW 2010 way back in the day and want TEW 2016 pretty badly. Problem is I have a Mac. I was hoping to see if someone could guide me in finding some cheap PC options that fit the requirements of this game.

TEW has pretty low technical requirements to run... the biggest thing is processing power for all the between days stuff. Any machine that could run TEW10 should run TEW16 at a similar state. There are also some steps posted on the forum here that has enabled Mac users to play TEW. Just keep in mind that the game is designed for PC and not a Mac, so your experience doing things that way may not be perfect. :)

HERE is the link for the thread I had in mind. :)

What are the performance ratings based on at the end of the match? Is it perceived performance by the crowd? Or is it purely in ring ability? Popularity? Combination?

It's a mix of popularity and in-ring performance as decided by your product settings. Things like recent fortunes also play into it, and as already mentioned, the Dirt Sheet can give you a hint at what factors are in play. :D
