Awesome to hear I still have some eyeballs/readers left on here.

The more I've thought about it, instead of doing an elaborate background, I'm just going to run with the default database. In turn, I'll just focus on the characters, storylines, in-between show website posts. This allows me to focus 100% on the stories.

I can't say it'll be updated every week. Hell, it may not even every 2-weeks. That said, I will always lean toward quality over quantity (with my schedule).

Sounds great, but I'm kind of sad I never got to hear the end of Jack Bruce's tale! What happened to corporate shill Bruce?

I'm sad that I wasn't able to finish that story either.

The plan was to have him eventually turn into an uber-heel. Eventually, he turned into "I'm not doing that. I'm Jack Bruce" kind of thing. He'd pick and choose his battles and not care one bit about anyone else. Meanwhile, he would continue to sell his products and seem to care MORE about THAT than wrestling (pissing off wrestling fans in the process).

Personally, Mitch Naess is a family friendly entertainment sort of guy... but there's a market for hardcore wrestling, especially in the Steel City. Pittsburgh Steel Wrestling has been running strong for damn near 10 years, but it hasn't really been growing, and now it's in danger of getting edged out by Sam Keith's Confederation of the Territories.

Can Mitch Naess and an old friend fight back and claim the market in the Tri State region for counter culture, extreme rules wrestling?

Seriously, I'm super into my USPW save, but I'm looking to try my hand at booking PSW for a while.See if I can firmly establish it at Cult Level and get it on PPV like it deserves.

PART 5

1265205_hbo.jpg

''You came so far, and once again you will fail, because you can't destroy me, Cody. Since you were out, I took the reins to this wretched company and built my own society, and my family only grows stronger as you stand there. All who defied me were torn apart, and pay attention to my words, because this is reality, this is your God speaking to you! I created war, I created this war, all of you are puppets who dance to my music, the victor of all wars in this poisoned world.

This should only end when I become too powerful for any human being to have a chance and take my rightful place as the one and only leader. Cody, the clock is ticking for the arrival of that day, you are the only one who stands in my way, and as of now, you play under my terms, and with that, I dictate that you should be terminated, should you remain against my rule.''

You're right about one thing. Maybe Cody Rhodes can't cut it anymore. I have faced many deceptions the past few years, but in the process, I became more connected with who I really am. I learned more about what should be done to end this once and for all.

As a common man, I've been exposed to tragedy, betrayal, and a heavy amount of training to find my inner self. I learned to control my emotions and have no fear of them in order to face you, because I've been chosen to take you down. The prophecy has spoken, the Cosmic Key is within reach, and when I take it at last and dethrone you, the WWE will be free from your tyranny once again. I can promise you one thing...when you're gone, no one is going to remember your name. But you will never forget the name...STARDUST.

HOW DID WE GET TO THIS POINT?

HOW WAS THE WWE DESTROYED FROM WITHIN?

NO ONE SHALL SURVIVE.

THE CIVIL WAR BEGINS.

We open on an empty elevator, with a ding the doors open and two men enter the scene.

ILcAhDD.jpg

Tommy Malone, Cracked Color Commentator

vZO01M9.jpg

Scott Loudman, Unflappable Announcer

Tommy:

Loudman, I'm telling you, working here is sheer insanity, I just don't understand how you don't see that.

Scott:

Tommy you need to take a chill pill, buddy, you're making mountains out of molehills.

Tommy:

How can you say that!? This entire company's nuts-

Malone is cut off by

.

Tommy:

Oh what now, Scott are you hearing this? This is NOT Girl from Ipane-

Scott:

Shush, Tommy, this song's my jam!

With a ding, the doors open again and they're greeted by an even odder sight.

4kElTA8.jpg

Sir Walter Funk, The World's Most Chivalrous Soul Brother

In full plate armor with one hand on a broadsword firmly stuck into a stone on the shore of a scenic lake, the be-afro'd funkster grooves to the music and starts to sing.

Walter:

It was a night like this forty million years ago

I lit a cigarette picked my monkey skull to go

Walter dances into the elevator along with a similarly rhythmic Scott and an aghast Tommy as the doors close and a disco ball falls from above nearly clocking poor Tommy while rotating its sparkly light all over the small confined space.

Walter:

The sun was spitting fire, the sky was blue as ice

I felt a little tired, so I watched Miami Vice

And walked the dinosaur, I walked the dinosaur

Walter and Scott pose along with the beat before the elevator doors open again to reveal the scene of a battle happening in an Colosseum no less between two taciturn combatants:

6A6cVX3.jpg

Guy Hero, RPG Avenger

soCF7gO.jpg

Tiberious Rex, Time-Displaced Tyrant

"Open the door, get on the floor

Everybody walk the dinosaur

Open the door, get on the floor

Everybody walk the dinosaur!"

Gladius in hand, it seems Rex has Hero on the ropes, clanging it off the Gaming Gladiator's Buster Sword until Walter runs in and reveals he still has his own sword from before...still in the rock which he bonks on Rex's head and sends him stumbling out of sight. The tag team of King's Quest share a high five (with a one-up noise happening on contact) and start dancing.

"Open the door, get on the floor

Everybody walk the dinosaur

Open the door, get on the floor

Everybody walk the dinosaur!"

The doors close but the music continues over the speakers, Tommy's mouth is open and gesturing futilely at what he's just witnessed, but Scott continues bouncing along oblivious. The doors open once more to the scene of a campfire where two men are sitting...

e9QohY2.jpg

Clark Jordan-Wayne, Scoopster Supreme

VOCVogj.jpg

Jeremiah 'Wild Wild' West

Clark is holding a microphone up to Jeremiah as the cowboy strums along on a guitar that...doesn't appear to be adding to the background music but he is singing along.

Jeremiah:

I met you in a cave, you were painting buffalo

I said I'd be your slave, follow wherever you go

That night we split a rattlesnake and danced beneath the stars

You fell asleep, I stayed awake and watched the passing cars.

Clark brings the microphone back to his face and stares at the two men in the microphone with a stern expression as he deadpans the next lines.

Clark:

And walked the dinosaur, I walked the dinosaur.

Just as the chorus hits a tricked out post-apocalyptic dune buggy crests the nearby hill and a duo of devilish thugs start barreling towards the open elevator!

SH7Im5F.jpgIeZlZHj.jpg

Anarchy and Impaler, The Revolting Raiders!

"Open the door, get on the floor

Everybody walk the dinosaur

Open the door, get on the floor

Everybody walk the dinosaur!"

Tommy's eyes go wide as he tries to back away but quickly finds the elevator doors aren't closing because Scott is literally holding the door open for the two evil doers.

"Open the door, get on the floor

Everybody walk the dinosaur

Open the door, get on the floor

Everybody walk the dinosaur!"

Tommy manages to yank Scott away from the door in time for the door's to close just as Anarchy is leaping through the front mouthing the words 'WITNESS ME!' A metallic clang and an indentation of Anarchy's face is made on the door as the two continue on, Tommy doubling over in relief while Scott does the running man before yanking Tommy into a dance of his own while singing along.

Scott:

One night I dreamed of New York

You and I roasting blue pork

In the Statue of Liberty's torch~!

The doors open and the two are smacked on their heads by a chucked eraser. They turn to look and find themselves being glowered at by a trio of very cranky gentlemen.

RF2Hn9P.jpgUMMevve.jpgPQX6yj9.jpg

George Jones, Leonard March, and Henry Principle, The Old School!

The trio stand in a class, Jones in his labcoat fiddles with a device whilst March stands at attention and Principle slaps a pointing stick on a blackboard labled 'History' and begins singing in a matter of fact tone.

Henry:

Elvis landed in a rock-rock-rocket ship

Healed a couple of lepers and disappeared!

Jones gasps as his device suddenly explodes with light and the trio suddenly find themselves confronted by:

3WOLSWa.jpgZArUVKQ.jpg4Fr71Sg4Fr71Sg.jpg

Yellow, Purple, and Blue Demons, The Hellspawn Playgroup!

Demons:

But where was his beeeeard~!?

The music kicks into an instrumental as both groups leap at each other and the doors close again only to open in a dojo once the music goes back to the lyrics, this time in a dojo with only one man standing stony faced in it.

5sSqOfh.jpg

Haschiro Mori, The Golden Emperor!

Before Mori can open his mouth, a puff of smoke explodes in front of him and there stands-

VE1zgNs.jpg

Ninjiant, Seven Feet Tall, 350 Pounds, Master of Stealth

Ninjiant:

A shadow from the sky much too big to be a bird

A screaming crashing noise louder than I've ever heard!

Mori chops the big man on the head from behind and leans over him as he doubles over.

Mori:

それは何とかして飛躍することを学んだ2つの大きな銀の木のように見えました

突然夏の微風と雄大なライオンの轟音!

Ninjiant:

I killed the dinosaur! I killed the dinosaur!

Mori:

HAJIME!

The doors to the dojo burst open as-

3ZlDdHY.jpgU2fDXiw.jpgmhoRr2p.jpg

A Veritable Army of Absurd Characters Come Dancing In!

"Open the door, get on the floor

Everybody kill the dinosaur

Open the door, get on the floor

Everybody kill the dinosaur

Open the door, get on the floor

Everybody kill the dinosaur

Open the door, get on the floor

Everybody kill the dinosaur~!"

The assorted freaks and geeks dance and prance along to the chorus until the doors finally clothes and the music slowly fades away, leaving Scott to sigh and nod.

Scott:

Love that track, man, love that track.

Tommy:

You! I! Wha...

Ding.

The doors open.

Tommy:

OH WHAT NOW!?

???:

Whoa, easy buddy, was it something I said?

tMNJblD.jpg

Ray Suddenberg, The Owner

Tommy:

M-m-mister Suddenberg! It's just I uh...I mean...well...

Scott:

Oh don't mind him, Ray, you know Tommy, always having a panic over nothing, hey let's go get lunch, huh?

Ray:

Sounds great!

Tommy:

...

Scott:

Hey Tommy wasn't this your stop?

Tommy, face blank, slowly walks out of the elevator. The doors close behind him and he sighs.

Tommy:

I hate mondays.

 • 2 weeks later...

Apologies if something like this has already been asked or there's a really simple answer that I'm missing. First off I have a very limited knowledge of computers and I don't write much if at all. I started writing a diary about six months ago and I was writing every post from start to finish on the forum and just hitting submit reply. This worked great for the first six or seven posts but then i hit a problem. I was writing the end of my second show and hit the return key to make a space for my next paragraph and for some unknown reason the forum logged me out. When I logged back in all my work had been erased and I was gutted.

I wasn't sure what had happened but i just thought go again. Now the same problem kept happening, now though it was more frequent. If i pressed return or moved the mouse to the side bar to scroll up or down I would get signed out and lose whatever I had managed to type. After five or so attempts I gave up and stopped writing.

As the months passed I kept wanting go back to my diary but was put off by the fact I continuously lost my work. Finally the itch to write became to much and I decided to start a new dynasty. Using the same method of writing my shows on the forum I started posting. Then again in almost identical fashion, I'm writing my second show, I hit return and I get signed out losing my type up of the show. I've been trying to rewrite what was lost but the problem keeps recurring.

What my questions are : Am I doing something wrong?

Is my PC broken?

Is this something others experience when posting on the forum?

Should I be writing on something other than the forum, like say word?

And how do people tend to go about writing their dynasties?

Sorry if this is a bit of a dopey question, I have tried to look and see if this has been asked before. I really want to keep writing, I've got all these ideas and stories buzzing around in my head, i'll be so gutted if I have to abort this diary too.

This is like a cloud-based notebook and is fantastic for a variety of things, including this. In this app, I simply write the shows without formatting and it's a multi-level process for me. I may open a notebook page for "WCW Saturday Night" and simply outline a show. "Arn Anderson opens the show with an in-ring promo" and "Arn Anderson vs. Sting" on the next line, for example. I'll add a small note after each segment on how long I want it to be, so I know where I am for the event's time limits.

Then, I'll go back through and write out each segment in more depth. I've just recently started to get into more dialog with the promos and commentary. Then, I run the show in TEW and log the ratings for each segment, then copy/paste and format here in the forums.

Hope you're having fun!

-Lev

The year is 1994.

At first, it seemed that Hulk Hogan was about to join WCW. However, it surfaced that negotiations between Hogan & WCW Executive Producer Eric Bischoff fell apart. Then, the media mogul Rupert Murdoch contacted Hogan, and the former bought Eastern Championship Wrestling and turned it into Extreme Championship Wrestling, installing Hulk Hogan as it's CEO. Hogan, with his ego, won the NWA World Heavyweight Championship in a tournament, everything was looking up great for ECW... but there was someone who hated all this.

Paul Heyman.

Heyman did have other things in mind for ECW, as a matter of fact, Heyman felt that Hogan represented everything the former stood up against: old school wrestling. Heyman saw that wrestling needed to be shaken up. He decided to play it by buying out another enterprise, a dying one, in order to bring a new look on wrestling.

It was time to get Hardcore.... Globally Hardcore.

I'm still finding a format I like and don't have much community interaction yet, but it's been a blast.

I write my posts in Evernote.

-Lev

Thank's for the reply Lev, It's interesting to see the way you go about booking your shows. I defiantly feel the way to go is to write up my shows first, so I'm going to check out that evernote. One of my friends has a spare device for word so I'm gonna get that later but I'll look into evernote all the same to see which I prefer.

Glad to hear you're enjoying writing your dynasty. I'm having a lot of fun too. What's your diary called I'll give it a read.

Thank's again for the help and good luck with the diary.

If nothing else, you always have the file to refer to, rather than having to find the topic and search through to find the posts. And you should never lose your work. Lucky for me a friend of mine had a spare device on his office and he kindly let me use it so I’m writing this on it now. I’ve never really used anything like this before so I’m learning the ropes. My plans are to write my posts up on word, save them, copy and paste them to the forum, then add the bold text and pictures. Is that similar to the way you write your diaries would you say?

Right, I’m gonna start messing around with word and writing my show. Thanks once more for taking the time to help me out, appreciate it.

I've had the forum eat posts in the past. not often, but it's happened - on one of my old diaries I had a spell where I had to split shows in two or three because (so far as I could tell) they were so long that the forum couldn't cope with them. I've learned to be a little bit more succinct since then!

In May of 2007, a no name company from the South West called Stormedia Productions held meetings with MTV Productions and Big Vision Entertainment about selling over their brand "Wrestling Society X" and some contracts. After a few weeks, they accepted.

Stormedia Productions had high hopes for the product, and while trying to keep it "extreme", the MTV Over the Top product wasn't going to cut it for mainstream television. They decided on a more traditional and mainstream program by trying to be a setting stone for younger competitors, and signing legendary wrestlers to help out in the main event scene.

(OOC: I've been toying with the 2007 save and wanted to bring back a infamous wrestling program from the dead and trying to make it into a mainstream/traditional wrestling promotion with hardcore elements. I've got a few write ups done for a test run but after that's done, I'll be restarting it and doing a thread on GDS

Oh and I made the logo myself, in reference to the switch to traditional/mainstream wrestling)
