What is your favorite new feature?

Recommended Posts

<p>I've been going on about it in the C-Verse changes thread, but definitely the change to National Battles at the moment. I love how it's now really important to have guys with high Star Quality at the top of your card, even if they might not be as good as your workhorses in other areas.</p><p> </p><p>

Suddenly the fact Gilmore never really got a run at the top of SWF starts to make sense, and Rocky Golden becomes vital to TCW's survival.</p><p> </p><p>

It's such a small feature, but a really immersive one that completely changes how I play the game.</p>

I haven't had a chance to experience all the new features yet (there's so many, it may take years), but freestyle angles is definitely a contender for favourite new feature. It saves me a few clicks when writing my own angles (and I write all my own angles), but more importantly, you can go back and edit the angles after you've added them. Do you know how many times I've realized I rated a worker on the wrong stat or forgot to set someone as onscreen and had to go back and rewrite the entire angle to fix it? Never again!

<p>I've been mulling this question since the thread was posted yesterday. And its really hard to choose, honestly. So many new features and I love so many of them. </p><p> </p><p>

I'm tempted to say auto-booker, because it looks like it will be quite useful at times. Ironic, because I've argued against the inclusion of an auto-booker feature a few times and didn't think it was necessary. But Adam made it efficient and useful to the point that I actually will use it. </p><p> </p><p>

I'm tempted to say the broadcaster changes, as they are a real fundamental shift. Although they don't have as much of an-going effect as some other stuff because once you have your broadcast deals set up, you probably aren't going to be constantly changing stuff. </p><p> </p><p>

But I'm gonna say the developmental changes. I almost always run Cult or bigger promotions and therefore always target young talent to develop. which means developmental is a huge boost to me in almost every game. So the changes are fantastic in my opinion.</p>

<p>Hmmmm.....going with two features I've liked thus far:</p><p> </p><p>

1) Something very easy to miss if you aren't looking for it, and that is "Available for Negotiations with COMPANY" under the "Employment" tab when looking at workers. Don't have to worry about forgetting if DWN, Nigel, or anyone else will want to sign with me.</p><p> </p><p>

2)...yeah, the Broadcaster changes, can't argue with that being a fantastic change <img alt=":)" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/smile.png.142cfa0a1cd2925c0463c1d00f499df2.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p>

Without a doubt, my favourite so far, is the option to hire local jobbers on one night deals, a masterstroke, and makes it much more realistic, my enhancement talents are always future top talent with zero popularity, I didn't really like booking them weak for a year or two before my other workers would job to them, or pushing them artificially, so this to me is great. Even if they are extremely furious, I continue, job done and never see him again, superb..

I love this, and the 'borrow talent from developmental' feature. :)

Definitely. I'm doing Vader vs Yokozuna at Wrestlemania 12. Having hype segments with Vader in a ring beating up random jobbers. 3 random locals including Dino Casanova have been brought in to make Vader look like a monster. The hiring locals and freestyle angles. I'm enjoying booking shows a lot more in this game.

it's hard to decide...i'd say the percentage showing for the hall of immortals being back in under the title history section for a wrestler, one night deals... building kevin owens through thru squash matches with those :) .....all the backstage incidents, improved injuries....

loving them all the whole game is steps above.....just now if i can get jimmy uso to stop showing up drunk for every damn match :) .....c'mon monday !!

i wish the women's division was overhauled though...like still have a women's division but too bad it didn't have a sub section along with that tag to show low level, midcard, main eventer and so on....instead of going by the popularity with women....would of been nice to say so women can only wrestle women but like also show which women is a main eventer the bunch...if this makes any sense....but ya no biggie still wouldn't knock it at all 10/10

Okay, so I haven't booked an actual show yet. But I've found a lot of things that I really love about this version.

I really like the opening song, it's right up my musical alley :D

One thing I haven't seen a lot of love for is the momentum/recent fortunes splice. Momentum before was something I always had trouble with, because it goes up and down way too randomly. Now it feels far easier to handle. And stable momentum is another thing I always struggled with, so I'm not upset to see it gone.

I love one night only deals, because I'm going to use it to sign so many one-show jobbers in the future. SO MANY.

TV specials. I dislike that we had to give up taped shows, but I love that we gained actual TV specials to make up for it.

I am in awe of the expended production. I feel it could potentially have been even more in-depth, but if it was then the game wouldn't be quite as plug-n-play as it was intended.

The intentional DQ/count out and rage DQ finishes will make my 80s and 90s games far more realistic.

I will probably keep only a handful of angles saved and just use mostly freestyle angles forever. I always try to book to strengths such as menace/sex appeal/etc. and that makes it so much easier than just having a big bloated angles list.

Really dig the Hall of Fame setup.

Tracking title prestige is one of those things that seems small, but will be a great way to check how good your champion actually is.

Something else I personally really like that I don't think I've seen talked about much is the change to movesets. It makes it much easier to figure out this way, and you won't see standard moves listed alongside guys's finishers anymore now.

I'm just rambling on now so I'm gonna just go ahead and shut up, but one last thing I want to make a note of is how awesome it is that we can pre-set turn and gimmick notes now.

All in all, if not for the lack of full, ready to go mods until like summer and if not for still working on my 13 dynasty, I probably would have done myself away completely with TEW13 in favor of the "newest toy" by now.

So much, actually. I love the one night deals with local talent, the ability to bring up development workers for one night, short contracts not ruining your relationship with workers, expanded options for match bookings (a little overwhelming at first, but I am getting the hang of it), the semi-main event simply being the second best match of the card (makes booking shows so much more realistic, this might be my favorite), expanded child company control (I still would like the option to book the shows myself, though), company Hall of Fames, the simplified momentum mechanics are amazing, and I love that managing the backstage environment is finally a challenge again.
