Thanks for uploading this i'm finding it really useful and certainly better than anything that I have come up with.

Just a quick question as you said about only using it for small companies and therefore only having the pop for one region present.

How do I change which region pop it shows on the TEW16 tab?

How would I add a second region/country etc if my company reaches that size? (I don't want to ruin the spreadsheet by adding them in the wrong way)

In regard to the refresh:

So long as the save file your using is the same, so long as you Delete the old exported databas, and call your new one The Same thing, when you refresh it will think it's just an updated database and import all the changes.

You only need to do things manually again if you either 1) use a new save file (as that changes the file path) or 2) call the database something different.

Unfortunately, tew2016 doesn't allow you to overwrite an export database, so you must manually delete old ones. (I make a shortcut next to where I keep my excel file to take me right to that folder). Maybe Adam could implement overwriting a database file in a future update if it's requested, I don't know how much work that would involved (as there has to be a check to see if the file is being used elsewhere first).

Your other question is far more intricate. I'll have to be careful how I word it or use diagram or a video, so I will wait till I am not busy to answer it (am just about to grab lunch)

To change the Home region for overness:

In WorkerSetup, click on Mid South cell, and type '='

Then, find the cell of the region you want to be your home... (It is towards the far right of the spreadsheet - all of them are there), press enter once on the right cell.

If the heading has changed correctly, you can just drag the rest of the column down there, to update all the values. Everything else that uses the hime region overness should auto update...

Beyond that, it becomes a little more complex, as you'd need to begin inserting cells in both WorkerSetup and the main tab, to add more regions to that part of the spreadsheet.

It does already have the USA national average overness on it though. You can later that, but I think that was just an Average formula over all the regions you desire.

TEW defaults to putting a _MonYYYY ending on the created file, so you will either need to make sure you create it using the same name each time or rename it to the correct name after it has been created.

Having a issue using modsquads past montreal screwjob mod where Kane is called Glen Jacobs and Faarooq is called Ron Simmons ect.

In _WorkerSetup, in cell J4... The code is "=_code02!F2" for the everyday worker name. I believe what you are after is just referred to as "Name" so replace that code with "=_code02!H2" and then drag that down about 200 cells and that will auto-update the main tab

(You'll have to drag those columns more if you have more then 200 workers ... I don't play real world mods so don't have the file using over 200).

Thanks for the support <img alt=":)" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/smile.png.142cfa0a1cd2925c0463c1d00f499df2.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" />

I've run into a bit of hiccup. I'm running the Territory Daze 2013 mod, which I converted to 2016. I've created a new save, and selected Vince Sr. as my user profile (not sure if this is relevant). I go into the save's option menu and select "Create MDB file", leave the name as the default and hit create. It runs through the process, but then says "Unspecified Error: Sorry an error has taken place and the file could not be created". Any help?? As always, thanks in advance.

You have to manually update your MDB file, ie. import it fresh from TEW whenever you want your file updating.

That's an error in the game, not the Excel file. Ask Adam in Tech Support.

oh dang that sucks. I was hoping it would automatically update the stats of my workers.

I've tried to make it be updatable with as few as steps as possible given the system we have.

There is only one way to make it more automatic, and that is the system I used for Tew2013 where I extracted data right out of the password protected database file. That is persistent so all the fields in my old excel file are updated with every save and refresh. The issue with this, is that you have to close Excel to sever the connection between Excel and That spdatabase, otherwise TEW wouldn't save as the database is considered in use. I had to collected about six tabs worth of data to get what the exported ones do in two tabs, so it was a lot of work (and means that making the tew2016 one for extracted databases quite quick...

Still got no idea why it sometimes bugs out in _code2 on a refresh

Excel is brilliant for mass editing
