Thanks, I am glad you are looking forward to it! I work around 50-60 during my busy season so I am trying to get this done as fast as I can. I appreciate you guys being patient. That is pretty much why I am releasing a beta once each region is complete.

 

Oh and I will more than likely put my renders on a CV background or at least upload the pngs so someone can put them on a CV background once the mod is completed.

What I've loved so far is how each promotions has a sense of self. That kid friendly promotion was ridiculous but at the same time so logically constructed that straight away I could imagine Chikara style angles with those characters - same with the Greek Gods one. With the C-verse and the real world mods there is often a sense of sameness and interchangeability with the various promotions as they tend to be generic because that's what the real world tends to do. Some of these have a feeling of Lucha Underground and Chikara where there is a real sense of identity and a surreal subversive sense of humour lying underneath the surface which understands that at it's heart Pro Wrestling is just theatre with occasional bursts of semi realistic violence.</p>

Founded in 1994 by retired professional bull rider, Jerry Shaw, Lonestar Pro Wrestling is a regional promotion based in Dallas, Texas.</p><p>

A throwback of sorts, to old school southern wrestling, or wrasslin', LPW focuses on a traditional product that emphasizes kayfabe, stiff in-ring work and wild brawling. Storylines are simple and easy to follow, and workers often times use more realistic gimmicks.</p><p> </p><p>

LPW became an instant hit in the southern regions of the United States who longed for more of a traditional product instead of then sports entertainment heavy companies on national tv. Fans were quick to attend LPW shows and often times, especially in their home state of Texas they were able to pack smaller venues.</p><p> </p><p>

Shaw, a former professional bull riding champion also used his connections in the Mid South to get LPW a regional TV deal along with a spot touring with the pro rodeo circuit.
