I'm playing it right now. Having fun already and considering they are going to add features and tighten up whats already there, it's well worth $20.<p> </p><p> But... it really highlights how far wrestling games have come and how silly it is when people say this series is a more accurate simulation of the "real sport" of pro wrestling than the current WWE games.</p><p> </p><p> I always say to the people that still harp on about how awesome No Mercy was, I say "play it and come back to me". I like old wrestling games, don't get me wrong. I just had a No Mercy night at my friends house with some beers we had a ton of laughs. But the newer games are just a thousand times better in every way. </p><p> </p><p> Still, what a wonderful trip down memory lane FPW is. The infinite created wrestler slots is clutch.</p></div></blockquote><p> </p><p> I've never played the WWE games actually but I can imagine they are far better than their reputation suggests. What FPW has going for it (like TEW) is the fantasy booking and moddability elements. FPW and TEW combined would be the wrestling equivalent of Football Manager.</p>

Another great PPV. These fantasy match-ups are so much fun. My Trios Titles are the weakest matches so far. Trish vs AJ Lee was my favorite match, clocking in at just under 28 minutes. Emma was my favorite win because I don't see WWE ever giving her a title. The Usos and The New Day are my only undefeated Champions.</p>

<p>Now that I have most of the wrestlers I want (about 250) I decided to start again.</p><p> </p><p>

TCW is my main WWE/NJPW-style brand. NexGen is my NXT/Lucha Underground-style brand. I replaced the Legends Titles with a Cruiser Title and Women's Tag Title. The Men's and Women's Tag Titles are cross-brand. The Trios Tag Title and Hardcore Title are cross-brand and mixed gender.</p><p> </p><p> </p><p>

Really good 1st PPV. Ibushi vs Balor vs Cole vs Ziggler for TCW Action Title was my MOTN. Le Rae vs Blanchard for the NexGen Women's match was the worst match. Slater & Rhyno beating Cesaro & Sheamus was the biggest upset.</p>

I really.... really want this game, but as yet, I don't have a PS4, and I'm not 100% sure my computer can handle it. The graphics are more than good enough for me, and the customization options are most definitely my bread and butter. I'd love to dive into the game, and create all my characters.

Small patches are being released reguarly.</p><p> </p><p> This is the best discussion thread for FirePro if you're on the fence: <a href="http://www.neogaf.com/forum/showthread.php?t=1403742" rel="external nofollow">http://www.neogaf.com/forum/showthread.php?t=1403742</a></p><p> </p><p> </p><p> Anyway, here's a list of possible improvements to come from a recent developer interview (via NeoGAF). Most of it depends on sales because of their small budget. </p><p> </p><p> <strong>1. They are looking at adding more filters to the workshop. Things like Fantasy/Real, Moveset, Logic, and maybe even filter by edit points.</strong></p><p><strong> </strong></p><p><strong> 2. Patch coming tomorrow that is going to fix some issues with the workshop, they weren't overly specific as to what.</strong></p><p><strong> </strong></p><p><strong> 3. Tables. Probably won't be able to do freely manipulated tables, but they might be able to add a table smash as an off the top rope move. Position your opponent on the turn buckle, enter the move and your tag partner or second pulls a table out and you jump through.</strong></p><p><strong> </strong></p><p><strong> 4. They are looking into adding more post match options for story telling possibilities. Things like handshakes, hugs, slapping the guys hand away and so forth.</strong></p><p><strong> </strong></p><p><strong> 5. Asymmetrical edits. Currently an engine limitation, would require a ton of work to change this, possible but unlikely. It would take a lot of time and wouldn't have much payoff. He joked if they sell a million copies overnight they'll get right on it.</strong></p><p><strong> </strong></p><p><strong> 6. Stance on mods. They are all for it, but aren't currently in a position to add any official support. They are open to suggestions from modders to make things easier.</strong></p><p><strong> </strong></p><p><strong> 7. Adding skirts to the edit parts. With the way the sprites are rendered it's tough to pull off convincingly, he wants to add them though and they are looking at it. Same with long hair.</strong></p><p><strong> </strong></p><p><strong> 8. They are working on lots of the more obvious edit parts like glasses and the like.</strong></p><p><strong> </strong></p><p><strong> 9. They are also working on adding more female parts and well as some new stances that look more natural for women.</strong></p><p><strong> </strong></p><p><strong> 10. They are looking at improving the selling of moves, make it more convincing when landing big finishers and the like.</strong></p><p><strong> </strong></p><p><strong> 11. Story Mode. 2 options they are looking at: Scenario mode like in Fire Pro Special (the Suda51 one), this would be limited by their 30 wrestler roster. Other option is to include a toolbox to create your own stories, if they go that route it would be much much further down the line. Obviously budget limitations keep this from being something major. They also mentioned that Suda51 would probably be down to writing a new story if they do go that route.</strong></p><p><strong> </strong></p><p><strong> 12. GM/Promoter mode. A promotion mode is coming, most likely will be based on the GBA management of the ring mode. They are looking for input on what people would like to see in that mode. They want to stress that it hasn't started development yet and they are on a tight budget, so it's not coming for some time.</strong></p><p><strong> </strong></p><p><strong> 13. Re-confirmed that custom MP3 support is coming for entrance themes and for in match music. Should be coming sometime in early to mid august. They may also let you change the music in the menus if people want that.</strong></p><p><strong> </strong></p><p><strong> 14. In regards to them working with promotions for official character/move packs. They are completely open to it, but the promotions would have to come to them, not the other way around.</strong></p><p><strong> </strong></p><p><strong> 15. Instant submissions when opponents are severely damaged. Probably not going to change, suggested you modify your CPU logic to not use weaker submissions when oppoennt is in critical.</strong></p><p><strong> </strong></p><p><strong> 16. Entrance belts. Would be very very difficult to have them come out wearing them, however they might be able to have them holding them in their hands, similar to how weapons work. Could then also have them at the ring and usuable as weapons if they go that route.</strong></p><p><strong> </strong></p><p><strong> 17. Pre-match fighting during entrances and the like. They are looking into it, but it's tricky.</strong></p><p><strong> </strong></p><p><strong> 18. Gradients. Due to splitting everything to multiple layers this would be a pretty insane amount of work for them (more than story and GM mode combined they say), so it's highly unlikely that they are coming. They are however looking at adding a transparency slider to layers, not sure if they can get it working, but they are looking into it. </strong><strong>[/i]</strong><strong>[/i]</strong></p>

Capturing it with Win-G Game DVR produces no slowdown or lag whatsoever and even capturing with OBS only produces minimum slowdown in framerate, but no lag.</p><p> </p><p> So my recommendation to you to see how fast it runs on your laptop, without having to check your RAM & CPU & GPU, is to run a more graphically intensive game you might have (WWE 2k17, Pro Wrestling X, Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3, King of Fighters 14, etc), check the framerate for THAT, and then assume Fire Pro runs at at least 4-6 times faster than that.</p>

I also have NVidia GeForce 8400GS.</p><p> </p><p>

It's a desktop, for the record, not a laptop. I've been playing Star Trek Online on here for well over a year, (since the first part of 2016), with no problems, but I've been advised that more graphics-heavy games MIGHT be problematic.</p><p> </p><p>

I've also been told by a couple of video game-loving fellows I know that I need to broaden my gaming horizons - I've mainly just been playing the STO, TEW, and OOTP, with only a few others here and there. My lil' cousin got me to play Team Fortress 2 with him, so I know my PC runs that pretty well also. Never had any trouble out of it, though I'll admit I haven't been a daily gamer on it the way I have STO.</p>

<p>I must be one of the only people who genuinely hates this game. I got it as I was told good things with regards to the editing, the game play etc... but it is just no fun (for me). I didn't see any point to the game whatsoever and didn't feel like anything I was doing really meant anything. Unless I'm missing something the game play is "Kick, kick, run, grapple. Miss, miss, miss, miss, hit him!" I'll stick to TEW.</p><p> </p><p>

£15 I could have thrown towards something else.</p>

<p>You're most welcome. <img alt=":)" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/smile.png.142cfa0a1cd2925c0463c1d00f499df2.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> </p><p>

There are thousands of CAW's available on the Steam Workshop already. Around 9,000 including duplicates. I've only seen Air Attack Weasel from the C-Verse so far, but I bet they'll appear in time.</p><p> </p><p>

As for WCW .. <a href="http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=972997202" rel="external nofollow">WCW Collection</a> .. and NWA .. <a href="http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=993475523" rel="external nofollow">NWA 80s</a>.</p>
