“Mean Gene” interviews The Guardian Angel. He’s challenged Vader to a rematch, and the fat bully have agreed. The Guardian Angel will face Vader at Halloween Havoc in an Last Man Standing Match to settle the score and end this feud.

He’s ignoring the rules that Commissioner Nick Bockwinkel laid on him earlier this year, and if he feels like it, he’s bringing his trusty Nightstick. The Angel is still very upset that Commissioner Bockwinkel told him that he could no longer use “The Boss” as his name and took his nightstick and handcuffs from him. He may even bring a Baseball Bat or something else because he’s tired of Vader and Harley Race, and he’s going to take them out. If Bockwinkel gets in his way, he might take him out as well.

Mean Gene is on the entrance way and claims Hogan vs. Flair is one of the Greatest Rivalries of All Times. Gene cuts to a feed to Hulk Hogan on the big screen and the crowd are actually booing him, really booing him. Hogan’s working out at his home in Florida together with Mr. T, the Best Streetfighter in the World.

“Well let me tell you something, brother!”

Hogan ignores the crowd reaction.

“Listen to ’em, Mean Gene!”

It’s deafening. The crowd continue booing him.

“Those Hulkamaniacs, they’re goin’ crazy, brother!”

Plenty of boos from the Southern crowd.

Hogan says that he wants a piece of Flair, and the fans boo the heck out of Hogan and cheer Flair to no end. Hogan and Flair have a verbal confrontation. Hogan then announces that he will invoke his rematch clause. Then he poses and nobody really cares.

Commissioner Nick Bockwinkel is with “Mean” Gene and he asks him about the demand for a rematch from Hulk Hogan. Bockwinkel says that Ric Flair has signed a verbal contract so the match will happen. He sets the match for Halloween Havoc and puts the WCW World Heavyweight Championship on the line. He also claims that Hogan and Flair don’t know this yet, but the match will be inside a Steel Cage because of the previous attacks from the mysterious Masked Assailant.

In a terrible WWF-style match, Elvis wannabee Honky Tonk Man defeated jobber Larry Santo in 0:56 by pinfall with a Shake, Rattle, and Roll. After the bout Honky sang his theme song.

After a break, we’re with Gene Okerlund, and former WCW United States champion “Superstar” Steve Austin and his valet Jeannie. Austin doesn’t look very happy. He wants to get his hands on that worthless piece of — BEEEEEEEEEP Brian Pillman. He says that no one will stop him from becoming the next WCW World Heavyweight Champion. Austin is the greatest US champion of all time, when he have ended his former tag team partner’s career, he will claim his World title shot. He is challenging Pillman to a Best of Seven Match Series, so that he can humiliate him in front of the whole World. He continued to verbally assault Pillman — BEEEEEEEEEP — BEEEEEEEEEP — BEEEEEEEEEP and the next 10 seconds of dialogue from Austin are beeped as “Mean” Gene looks more and more offended. Austin throws a anger tantrum…

Mr. T will be the Special Referee for the Steel Cage Match between Ric Flair and Hulk Hogan for the WCW World Heavyweight Championship. Boxing legend Muhammad Ali will be there to present the belt to the winner.

Spin The Wheel Make The Deal

On October 24, Cactus Jack and Kevin Sullivan will square off at Halloween Havoc. What kind of match will it be? Nobody will know until that night, when the wheel containing 12 different specialty matches will be spun. Here is a guide to bouts that will be included on that wheel:

I Quit Match: A match where the winner must make his opponent say the words “I Quit”.

Lumberjack Match: The ring is surrounded by wrestlers wielding leather straps to keep the competitors in the ring: pinfall or submission decides the winner.

Barbed-Wire Match: The ring ropes are draped with barbed-wire; pinfall or submission decides the winner.

Cage Match: The ring is surrounded by a steel cage; pinfall or submission decides the winner.

Texas Death Match: This match proceds until one man cannot continue; the other is declared the winner.

First Blood Match: The man who causes his opponent to bleed first is declared the winner.

Short Leash Match: The wrestlers are connected by a one to two foot “leash”. The only way to win is by knockout or submission.

Last Man Standing Match: A match which doesn’t end until one wrestler is so severely beaten that he is unable to answer a ten count.

Trick or Treat Match: This match begins with both opponents selecting one of two bags. The “treat” bag contains a weapon that can be used in the bout, the “trick” bag contains nothing but candy!

Texas Hangman Match: The Texas Hangman match has dog collars hung on the ring ropes. In order to win the match a wrestler has to hang their opponent from one of the collars until they can no longer continue.

Straitjacket Match: A match, where the only object is to beat your opponent to the point that you can secure him in a straitjacket. As an added stipulation, many straitjacket matches allow for a five minute beating of the loser.

Spinner’s Choice: The spinner of the wheel gets to choose the match from the 11 available match types.

Gene Okerlund had an interview with Jimmy Hart and John Tenta. Hart says that they accept the challenge made by Sting during Saturday Night. At Halloween Havoc, “Big” John Tenta will end Sting’s career with the fearsome Avalanche Drop. Nothing can stop Tenta from ending Hulkamania, not even Sting.

Hogan’s friend John Tenta is receiving a big push as the next big menacing monster heel to feud with Hogan. He looked very dominant winning a pre-card 20-man Battle Royal at Fall Brawl. The other members of the ‘final four’ were Paul Orndorff, Brad Armstrong and Honky Tonk Man, with “Mr. Wonderful” Paul Orndorff being the final elimination. Of course John Tenta got the most eliminations over the course of the match. Rumours has it that Hogan is avoiding facing the stiff powerhouse Vader and has handpicked Tenta for his next storyline after the current one with Ric Flair and the mysterious Masked Assailant. The original plans called for Hogan to drop the belt to Sting at Starrcade, but later it was changed to Vader. Currently the rumours names Tenta, Flair or the mysterious Masked Man as possible opponents for Hogan at Starrcade.

FOX Network’s new deal with the NFL is looking to be a big threat to pro wrestling and the WWF in particular. Both WWF and WCW have had syndicated TV time slots moved in markets all over the country, or in some cases, dropped completely. The WWF Superstars show in particular took a huge hit in major cities around the country. Weakened or lost time slots in certain cities just makes it that much harder for them to draw crowds to live shows in those cities, which couldn’t come at a worse time considering both WWF and WCW are in the midst of drawing record low house show crowds. As a result, WWF will stop running shows in cities where they took the biggest hits. Luckily for WWF, they still have a money-maker in Monday Night Raw and their Pay-Per-Views despite poor show ratings.

ECW Anarchy Rulz Report! Extreme Championship Wrestling held ECW Anarchy Rulz last night in Solomon Court, MA, and drew 2054 fans. The feedback has been that the show was awesome. In the main event Jimmy Snuka defeated Dory Funk Jr. to retain the ECW World Heavyweight Championship. The MVP of the show was Chris Benoit after his performance in a Fatal 4-Way Match with 2 Cold Scorpio, Mr. Hughes and Pitbull #2.

Tony Rumble and Paul Heyman bad blood? If comments by Tony Rumble and Paul Heyman are to be taken seriously, it looks like a new found hostility has emerged between CWA NE and ECW. Both owners have made disparaging comments about the other’s company, and it looks like a bitter rivalry may be starting.

UFC 3’s PPV buyrate is in and it did a 0.65, which is equal to WWF SummerSlam. And considering the UFC did this without any television promotion and without any household name stars, this can only be considered a monster success. Experts expects UFC 4, in December, to do even bigger numbers.

During this week’s live episode of WCW Saturday Night one of Eric Bischoff’s teeth became dislodged, and flew out towards the camera as he was announcing. Shockingly, nobody noticed at the time, but reliable sources reveals that Bischoff’s had fake teeth since his teenage years.

There are more rumours that WWF is trying to bring back Ultimate Warrior, but apparently The Warrior is receiving a monster push in AJPW and it seems like he is staying in Japan.

WCW held a press conference in Detroit to officially announce the Halloween Havoc PPV, featuring appearances by Muhammad Ali and Mr. T as the special referee. Earlier in the week, negotiations with Mr. T over money caused him to pull out of the show and they were going to drop the special ref gimmick, but they worked it out so he came back on board at the last minute. Because of Muhammad Ali, the story got a lot of mainstream coverage and WCW sold $40,000 worth of tickets the first day they went on sale, which is their biggest first-day sales in years.

Superstar Billy Graham’s long-standing lawsuit against WWF was partially settled and then dropped this week.

Terry Funk leaves WCW, because his recent schedule is taking a big toll on his physical and mental health. The veteran intends to focus on his work in ECW, SMW and AJPW. Funk did give Dustin Rhodes a rub in his last WCW match that will cement the youngster as a credible main eventer.

FMW had to cancel 2 recent shows because they were outdoor events and the cities had just been hit by a real Typhoon. Not to be mistaken with wrestler Fred "Typhoon" Ottman that is currently employed by WWF.

A recent TV Guide article listed WWF as one of the magazine’s favorite guilty pleasure shows, but also mentioned the steroid scandal. Linda McMahon wrote a letter to the magazine that they printed, saying she was glad they liked the show, but argued that they have been testing for steroids since 1991 and that they were cleared of any wrongdoing in the trial.

The AAA show being produced by WCW is called “When Worlds Collide.” However, ECW and Paul Heyman is throwing a fit because ECW recently released a video with the same name. Heyman has gotten lawyers involved and the two sides are discussing a settlement. Heyman is willing to drop the issue if Ric Flair would come work a 60-minute draw at the ECW Arena against Shane Douglas. Flair was approached about the idea and said the following "He's a clerk at K-Mart! He's a check-out boy at Walmart! He's a crying nobody! I understand he challenged me to the Ultimate Fight, or something like that. Let me tell you this. If you take the needle out of his ass, he's 140 pounds, at best. And 90 days after he takes the needle out of his ass, anytime, anywhere, i will beat him in record time WOOOOO!". For now, latest word is WCW is planning to go ahead and use the “When Worlds Collide” name anyway and just take their chances against ECW.

On the WWF Superstars show that airs in Belgium and the Netherlands, the color commentator for the shows completely buried the product, saying repeatedly that the matches are fake, the wrestlers are all friends, and no one ever really gets hurt.

It looks like WCW wrestler Ray Traylor will get a new gimmick replacing The Guardian Angel, after the storyline with Vader and Harley Race. Names being bounced around are Big Bubba Rogers, The Vigilante and Buford Justice.

Razor Ramon has told friends he plans to take some time off at the beginning of the year to spend some time with his family. Losing one of the major stars would be a heavy blow for WWF in the National Battle with WCW.

In Michinoku Pro, they did an angle where Shiryu, Sato, and Terry Boy formed a stable called Kaientai.

Meetings were held in WCW this week to discuss doing Flair vs. Hogan matches on the road in 40-50 key cities and then finally doing the big blow off feud on PPV at Starrcade. They’re also talking about booking the Georgia Dome for Starrcade. Considering WCW’s last show at the Omni in Atlanta only drew 789 people, he thinks they should probably slow their roll a little bit before they start getting stars in their eyes about booking the 65,000 seat Georgia Dome just because they might have Hulk Hogan. The staying power of a Hogan/Flair feud isn’t a guarantee as previously seen in WWF.

The story of Jim Cornette’s arrest made several local and national newspapers. Jim Cornette changed his answering machine message to say, “Hi, this is Richard Kimball and I swear it was a one-armed man with that baseball bat. If you’ve got a message about Smoky Mountain Wrestling, leave it. If you’ve got a message about my new paint, body and auto glass shop, leave that too.”

Ticket sales for WCW’s upcoming European tour have been weak, even though WCW have major stars as Ric Flair, Sting, Vader and Ricky Steamboat confirmed for the tour and touring deals with European draws like Giant Haystacks, Johnny Smith, Alex Wright, Frank Andersson, Steven Regal, Dave Finlay, David Taylor, Doc Dean and Robbie Savage.

Missy Hyatt appeared on the Sally Jessy Raphael talk show in what appeared to be a fictional role, playing a woman who was mistreated by her boyfriend.

WWF re-sign Paul Bearer, and ended weeks of speculation. Many insiders say that this is a key piece of business for WWF, as finding a replacement could have been tricky.

Jim Crockett held his second TV taping for his new NWA promotion and it was a total bust. All no-name wrestlers, no continuity from the previous TV taping, and the show only drew about 300 fans to a building that holds 2,500.

WCW has found themselves in the midst of a bit of a bidding war. Shoot-style promotion UWFI in Japan wanted to sign a deal with WCW to exchange talent, but when New Japan heard about it, they offered WCW more money for a similar deal in order to prevent UWFI from getting access to WCW wrestlers, and especially huge draws like Hogan and Flair.

Sabu and Tazmaniac had a hardcore match at an indie show in Michigan that included the following foreign objects: A car radiator, a television, a radio, a VCR, a freezer door, a baseball bat, a fan, a toaster, a vacuum cleaner and a pool cue.

Road Warrior Animal is telling people he plans to return to the ring in early 1995 and reform the tag team with Hawk in New Japan and probably WCW.

I'm currently planning the tv shows for November and just for fun i'll run both The Clash and BattleBowl. The Clash for the storylines and Lethal Lottery/BattleBowl just for fun and to give it a try. Then comes December and Starrcade to settle the feuds and start fresh in 1995 with some new signings and some news exciting money-making feuds.

There are rumors going around about both Ultimate Warrior and Sid Vicious returning to WWF. It seems that Vince McMahon is desperate for more star power to maintain the position as the No 1 Promotion in the World. WWF has been struggling recently due to lack of star power, cold storylines and poor matches.

Latest WWF house shows have been “like attending a funeral”. Other than Shawn Michaels, who has been on fire, the shows have been awful and the crowds completely dead. Bret Hart headlined against a rusty and uninterested Jim Neidhart. Neidhart has been awful lately and even Bret Hart couldn’t carry him to a decent match. A lot of experts have been saying that Bret has a lot of nerve to say the things he said about Ric Flair while going out on house shows and giving this kind of lackluster performances. During the house shows, Bret Hart received several chants of “Bret Sucks” “Maple-Sucker” "Bret the Hoser" “We want Flair” and “Ric Flair is The Man” from the crowd.

Latest word on the AAA/WCW PPV is that WCW is going ahead and using the name When Worlds Collide and basically telling ECW to stick it where the sun don't shine. If the experiment goes well, the plan is to run two more AAA PPV:s produced by WCW in 1995.

Ted Turner and his wife Jane Fonda were in the front row during WCW’s latest TV tapings. They were interviewed and Turner did admit that he is a big wrestling fan. Rumours says that all the wrestlers’ workrate was up while wrestling in front of Ted Turner.

Japanese legend Antonio Inoki said that he wants to face Hulk Hogan at the Jan. 4 Tokyo Dome show, and would like to have a match with “The Nature Boy” Ric Flair as well.

Hulk Hogan is trying to pitch the idea of doing a couple of made-for-TV movies for Thunder In Paradise to air on TBS. Sting, El Gigante, Meng, The Nasties and Scott Norton are rumoured to have small roles.

Despite all the money and TV time devoted to making Lex Luger the new Hulk Hogan, it’s simply not working. Bret Hart is obviously the better wrestler and far more popular and any confrontation between the two of them simply exposes that Luger isn’t especially good in the ring or very popular. This makes “The American Original” campaign a big flop and it is overshadowed by the current feuds between Bret Hart vs. Yokuzuna; and Diesel & The Underfaker vs. Razor Ramon & The Undertaker.

The Steiners are still under WWF contract until December, but will sit out the remainder of their contract, which expires in December, before they can work anywhere else in North America. They are still able to work in Japan and said in a recent interview that they will focus on chasing the titles in New Japan.

UFC has reportedly offered Meng a spot in the next UFC event. Meng has the reputation of being the toughest of all Pro Wrestlers. Eric Bischoff has reportedly told him that if he wants to do it, WCW will give him two months off to train with Martial Arts coaches to get ready.

WCW is considering to do next years Bash at the Beach PPV in Europe, at the Wembley Stadium. The legendary stadium would probably have the potential to sell a lot of tickets, especially if main evented by Englishman Steven Regal.

Koko B. Ware leaves WWF, after his contract recently expired. “The Birdman” will focus on his work in USWA and his current tag team with Eddie Gilbert.

Hercules Hernandez moves on and leaves Japan. NJPW and Hercules have parted company after his contract expired. According to rumours Hercules wants to work in America.

NJPW held their annual Super Grade Tag League tournament last night, and with three successive wins it was Riku Choshu and Tatsumi Fujinami who claimed the victory defeating Naoki Sano and The Great Kabuki in the finals. It marks the first time that they have won the tournament.

At a recent WCW taping, Johnny B. Badd´s brother Tony Vendetta competed in a try out match.

In NJPW, there’s a lot of talk that Power Warrior will go back to using the name Kensuke Sasaki and that will spell the end of the Hellraisers tag team with Hawk. It’s expected that Road Warrior Animal will return to the ring in early 95 to reform the Road Warriors team. Persistent rumours circulate that the Road Warriors could return to WCW next year. Other rumours says that Kensuke Sasaki might return to WCW for another run focusing to cement him as a credible main eventer and title contender.

The Death of MAW? The future looks bleaks for Mid American Wrestling, as reports indicate that the promotion is in a complete tail-spin, with attendances dropping rapidly and many of the top stars on the brink of walking out. Some insiders have even stated that the company could be out of business by the end of next month.

Jim Crockett is rumoured to sign a 10-year lease to run weekly Friday night shows at the Dallas Sportatorium. The only details so far is that Crockett plans to use some of the GWF stars, but won’t use Chris Adams, who is still occupied searching for his lost wrestling ring. Crockett is expected to get a weekly TV spot on Channel 33 in Dallas and will run the promotion as the NWA TV show. Tully Blanchard and Scandor Akbar are expected to be bookers and Joe Pedicino will be the color commentator. Blanchard will also be one of the top stars, along with the Fabulous Freebirds.

All Japan Women’s wrestler Takako Inoue posed for nude photos that will be released in magazines later this month, which has been the subject of some controversy in Japan.

Latest on the Jim Cornette vandalism charges, the damage is estimated at $1,200 so it would be a felony. The case has been postponed until February and Cornette is wanting to settle the case out of court, but O’Connor refuses to drop the charges.

For months, SMW had been hyping up a mystery commissioner, who was running the promotion behind the curtains, but the storyline has apparently been dropped. It was supposed to be Bill Watts, but last anyone heard, Watts was on vacation in Australia and Jim Cornette couldn’t find him.

Sabu has talked about going to WWF next year, but reportedly ECW has offered him big money to stay with them instead as the promotions “Figurehead”.

In ECW, they recently did an angle between Tommy Dreamer and Sandman, where Dreamer took a cigarette and burned Sandman’s eye with it. Even after the cameras were off, they treated it as a legit injury.

Warlord, Hercules and Tito Santana were all backstage at the latest WCW tapings, looking for work.

FMW held a “"No-Rope Barbed Wire Electrified Explosive Double Hell Death Match, in a pool. Barbed wire around two sides of the ring, no ropes on the other side, and explosives in the water surrounding the ring that exploded every time the participants hit it.

USWA decided to book a show one week before an SMW show in the same building, which has caused a lot of heat between the two promotions.

Herb Abrams tried to run a 3-hour show that aired nationwide on satellite. It was a money-losing disaster. The arena held 17,000 people but only drew 600. And of those 600, more than half were freebies. Known workers as Steve Williams, Johnny Ace, Dan Spivey, Missy Hyatt, Tony Halme, The Warlord, Terry Gordy, Jimmy Snuka and Sid Vicious appeared, but it didn’t help.

I dig that Bobby Walker picks up wins as well. I don't really even think he's any real great talent (he was good, but there's plenty of better out there) but I was surprised that WCW never really got behind him to better JTTS levels because he was the nephew of Thunderbolt Patterson. That just feels like a connection they would run with.

Some workers like Mark Starr/Frankie Lancaster are even good enough to sometimes receive the "Match of the Night Bonus". Actually even guys like Southern Posse and The Barrio Brothers gets some wins. Looking forward to see "Hardwork" Bobby Walkers developing. I'm thinking of putting him in a tag team, but i kind of have other plans for Ice Train so i'm currently searching for possible parters for Walker.

Spin The Wheel Make The Deal

On October 24, Cactus Jack and Kevin Sullivan will square off at Halloween Havoc. What kind of match will it be? Nobody will know until that night, when the wheel containing 12 different specialty matches will be spun. Here is a guide to bouts that will be included on that wheel:

I Quit Match: A match where the winner must make his opponent say the words “I Quit”.

Lumberjack Match: The ring is surrounded by wrestlers wielding leather straps to keep the competitors in the ring: pinfall or submission decides the winner.

Barbed-Wire Match: The ring ropes are draped with barbed-wire; pinfall or submission decides the winner.

Cage Match: The ring is surrounded by a steel cage; pinfall or submission decides the winner.

Texas Death Match: This match proceds until one man cannot continue; the other is declared the winner.

First Blood Match: The man who causes his opponent to bleed first is declared the winner.

Short Leash Match: The wrestlers are connected by a one to two foot “leash”. The only way to win is by knockout or submission.

Last Man Standing Match: A match which doesn’t end until one wrestler is so severely beaten that he is unable to answer a ten count.

Trick or Treat Match: This match begins with both opponents selecting one of two bags. The “treat” bag contains a weapon that can be used in the bout, the “trick” bag contains nothing but candy!

Texas Hangman Match: The Texas Hangman match has dog collars hung on the ring ropes. In order to win the match a wrestler has to hang their opponent from one of the collars until they can no longer continue.

Straitjacket Match: A match, where the only object is to beat your opponent to the point that you can secure him in a straitjacket. As an added stipulation, many straitjacket matches allow for a five minute beating of the loser.

Spinner’s Choice: The spinner of the wheel gets to choose the match from the 11 available match types.

Tim Horner vs. Paul Orndorff

In a bout that had decent wrestling, but didn’t have much heat, the narcissistic bully”Mr. Wonderful” Paul Orndorff defeated underdog "White Lightning" Tim Horner in 6:06 by pinfall with a handful of tights. Orndorff was very heelish in his way, and played-up his superior physique bullying Tim Horner around and taunting him with bodybuilder poses. During the bout, Orndorff received several chants of "Paula" from the crowd.

Jimmy Snuka leaves ECW. ECW last night revealed in a short press release that veteran and the current ECW World Heavyweight champion Jimmy Snuka had left the company. According to our sources, the split was simply because his contract expired and ECW is trying to cut back on expensive contracts. ECW is rumoured to hold an Triple Threat match for the vacant title next week on ECW Hardcore TV.

WCW wrestler Craig Pittman is rumoured to be fighting at the UFC 4 PPV in December, replacing legitimate tough guy Meng that turned down the offer. Craig "Pittbull" Pittman is a former marine and is known to be a pretty bad ass. Rumour is that WCW offered Pittman $60,000 to enter the tournament, plus whatever prize money he earns at the event. Both UFC and WCW wants a pro wrestler in the event, since Ken Shamrock will not be participating this time because he will be part of the Pancrase show in Japan the same night.

Vince McMahon was interviewed on a local Chicago sports show and came off very bitter against Hulk Hogan. McMahon said Hogan had promised he would never work against him and couldn’t understand why his friend would go compete against him in a “Minor League Promotion.” Vince explained the Hogan/WWF split and claimed he had begun phasing Hogan out because of his age, but that he wanted to bring him back every now as a special attraction and for big events. While Hulk Hogan wanted to keep doing things the way they always had, with Vince bringing in new monster heels for him to beat. Vince said that WCW wasn’t competition, but called them a “Minor Annoyance.”

Mike Enos was being a jerk backstage at the latest WCW tapings and eventually threw a punch at road agent Larry Hennig. It was a bad move though as he got beaten up by Meng as a result and his contract was immediately terminated.

“Macho Man” Randy Savage recently appeared on the Ricki Lake show.

Rumours indicate that the friendship between Bruce Hart and Davey Boy Smith is over. While it is said they are still civil to each other, and are definitely not feuding, there is a definite lack of warmth between the two.

AJPW and WCW bad blood? If comments by Giant Baba and Eric Bischoff are to be taken seriously, it looks like a new found hostility has emerged between AJPW and WCW. Both promotions have made disparaging comments about the other promotion, and it looks like a bitter rivalry may be starting.

Bad news came in for fans of New Japan star Tatsumi Fujinami last night, as it is being reported that he sustained a Semi-Severed Spinal Column during a tag team match, and that he will be required to take some time off in order to heal. Early indications says that Fujinami will be gone from active competition for at least 1 year. More news as we get it.

Scott Norton began his first reign as IWGP World Heavyweight champion last night, when he took the title away from Shinya Hashimoto. Shinya Hashimoto managed eleven successful title defences prior to this defeat.

WWF jobber Matt Hardy joins ECW! An announcement on the website of Matt Hardy that was posted last night has revealed that he has signed a pay-per-appearance contract with ECW. He is said to be very excited by the deal, and are looking forward to work with 2 Cold Scorpio, Chris Benoit and Sabu.

Marcus Alexander Bagwell is challenging fate, as he was antagonising legitimate bad ass Steven Regal during a WCW taping so much that a fight broke out in which Regal kicked Bagwell’s ass and had to be pulled away by half the locker room.

In a story broken by out friends over at Sherdog.com, Pancrase star Minoru Suzuki will be competing in Mixed Martial Arts. The 25 year old has accepted an offer to fight in a few months and is believed to be starting his camp in just eight weeks or so.

The friendship between Gene Okerlund and The Iron Sheik looks to be over. Friends of the two have been reported as saying that while they are far from enemies, the friendship has totally eroded, and they are going their separate ways.

Yesterday evening saw the completion of the signing of Damien Kane by ECW. Fans are expected to get to see Damien Kane at the promotion’s next show as the promotion’s new Extremist heel known as “The Godfather of Extreme”.

Inside sources claim that WWF is negotiating with Jake “The Snake” Roberts about a possible return to the promotion. Roberts are currently working in AAA and CWA.

UWFI announced that they were bringing in a new wrestler and when it was announced, they expected their upcoming PPV to sell out during the first day. The surprise wrestler was supposed to be Royce Gracie, who was scheduled to face UWFI’s top star Nobuhiko Takada. But at the last minute, Gracie apparently pulled out. At the show, they announced to fans that Gracie vs. Takada was going to take place in a Cage Match, and then they did a angle saying Gracie had chickened out and that it proves that UWFI is superior to UFC.

Bruno Sammartino was invited to the White House and will be honored by President Clinton at an event next month.

John Tenta is confirmed, as the first of an expected long line of monster heels for Hogan to vanquish in WCW.

It is rumoured that TBS is planning to green-light 4 made-for-TV Thunder In Paradise movies which will air after the four Clash of the Champions events in 1995.

Rick Rude has filed a $630,000 lawsuit against WCW stemming from his departure from the promotion and his injury. Rude is currently collecting on a Lloyd’s of London insurance policy and he most likely won’t be heading back to WWF any time soon.

Gene Okerlund and Mark Madden have gotten into a feud on the WCW hotline. Okerlund is in charge of the hotline and attempted to get Madden fired due to comments Madden made about him, but Madden is close friends with Eric Bischoff so he’s still on there. Madden made comments about Okerlund teasing fans with big news on the hotline and then not delivering and accused Okerlund of having Alzheimer’s. Madden was asked to lay off Okerlund, but apparently the memo didn’t go both ways because Okerlund then went on the hotline and blasted Madden.

As expected, Lou Thesz officially completed his retirement from Pro Wrestling last night. The American, 78 years old, has made his plans clear some time ago, and is said to be looking forward to enjoying his retirement.

In breaking news, CMLL wrestler Humberto Garza Jr. was caught in possession of some hard drugs last night. With the high amount of drug-related deaths in wrestling over the years, this is a serious worry for the wrestling community, who are hoping this will be a “wake up Call” that will get him to check into rehab before it is too late.

AAA main eventer Cien Caras may find himself in the midst of a bidding war after rumours began circulating that CMLL are seriously interested in making him a lucrative offer to come and work for them. With many options open to him, it will be interesting to see what Cien Caras decides.

ECW’s expected television debut on the Sunshine Network in Florida has been delayed over concerns from the Sandman cigarette-in-eye angle.

The Mexican promotion AAA, are trying to break into the U.S. with successful shows in California and their first ever PPV event scheduled for next month. If successful, it would establish AAA as the clear #3 promotion in America. If it fails, it could be financially devastating to the company and crush any hope of breaking into the U.S. market. AAA has plateaued a bit since their initial success and much like Jim Crockett Promotions in the 80s, they have ran so many hot angles so fast that they’ve started to burn out. There doesn’t seem to be much long-term booking, just hot angle after hot angle with little worry of where to go next.

I actually hope that Hogan wins via a screwy finish or DQ at Halloween Havoc and at When Worlds Collide, he goes over Flair (somewhat) clean. It'd be like This Tuesday in Texas: If Hogan beats someone clean in the ring and no one sees it, does Hogan make a sound?

Plus evolving the whole WCW concept each year with different eras leading toward 2001 and The Birth of the New Era. Personally i think that Halloween Havoc is the WCW event of the year in 1994. It's not sure that Starrcade can compete on the same level. It's only promoted by WCW on the television shows. The remaining events for 1994 will be Halloween Havoc, Clash of the Champions, Battlebowl and Starrcade. I haven't run Starrcade yet, but so far Halloween Havoc is my favorite. WCW Halloween Havoc update! Sylvester Stallone, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Lou Ferrigno and Wesley Snipes are rumored to be coming in for the show. On October 24, Cactus Jack and Kevin Sullivan will square off at Halloween Havoc. What kind of match will it be? Nobody will know until that night, when the wheel containing 12 different specialty matches will be spun. Here is a guide to bouts that will be included on that wheel:

I Quit Match: A match where the winner must make his opponent say the words “I Quit”.

Lumberjack Match: The ring is surrounded by wrestlers wielding leather straps to keep the competitors in the ring: pinfall or submission decides the winner.

Barbed-Wire Match: The ring ropes are draped with barbed-wire; pinfall or submission decides the winner.

Cage Match: The ring is surrounded by a steel cage; pinfall or submission decides the winner.

Texas Death Match: This match proceds until one man cannot continue; the other is declared the winner.

First Blood Match: The man who causes his opponent to bleed first is declared the winner.

Short Leash Match: The wrestlers are connected by a one to two foot “leash”. The only way to win is by knockout or submission.

Moments later, the Masked Man ran out, with Hulk Hogan shoving the Masked Man off the top rope and clearing him from ringside.

The Masked Man quickly escaped into the crowd. Flair wildly protest to the referee about Hulkster's interference, but Hogan points out Flair's hidden brass knuckles to the referee, causing "The Nature Boy" to get disqualified. Hogan and Sting then celebrated in the ring, while Flair and Elizabeth left the arena. In an unbelievable match, Sting defeated Ric Flair in 16:14 when Ric Flair got disqualified.

Regal delivers a pair of stiff European Uppercuts. He goes for a third one and Duggan catches him with a big Punch. Regal is a joy to watch thanks to the graceful way in which he wrestles, but also the fabulous facial expressions he makes and the manner in which he looks down on both Duggan and the fans in perfect heel pomp. Vader gets stiff with Angel to start and a series of Short-arm Clotheslines puts them out on the floor. Angel reverses a Whip and sends Vader into the guardrail. Angel takes Race into the ring and gives him a thunderous Slam. Vader comes back in the ring and gets Slammed on top of Race. The Guardian Angel Avalanches his opponent in the corner and counters a Suplex into one of his own. Vader punches back and comes off the second rope, but gets caught and Slammed in mid-air. Angel delivers a Flying Headbutt for two. Harley Race screw up a Sidewalk Slam attempt and Angel winds up getting Clotheslined hard in the face by Vader. Arn stops Rhodes from a Flip Flop Fly and levels him. Rhodes tries to stop a flying Anderson with a Boot, but he sees it coming and stays one step ahead by grabbing the Boot and dropping an Elbow on him. Down on the floor, Arn gets his arm posted. Back in, Dustin stays on the arm for a while. He whiffs on a Crossbody Block and goes flying over the top rope and down the aisle way. Arn beats up Rhodes on the apron and whips him into the ropes for a Forearm to the gut. They fight over a Knucklelock ending with Arn trying to Splash Rhodes. They meet on the rampway and brawl like crazy. Sullivan fires up the ol’ extensive moveset by Choking and Stomping Cactus. Cactus gets the chair again and nails Sullivan right in the skull. They make it into the ring where Cactus runs into a Boot and gets drilled by a Clothesline. Sullivan takes him to the corner for more straight shots to the face. Cactus gets punched out to the rampway and reverses a Suplex on Sullivan to bring him out there as well. Cactus is clearly busted open at this point, looking bloody and bruised. He delivers a Back Suplex and pounds away as Sullivan grabs a chair. Cactus blocks a chairshot and takes it away from Sullivan for another chairshot to Sullivan! Cactus fires away with some more punches and then walks out to head down the rampway. Sullivan comes out of all bloody from the last chairshot. Cactus nails him with a Running Clothesline and covers for three. Sullivan’s up at two and Cactus grabs a piece of the set and hits Sullivan with it. That knocks Sullivan down off the rampway to the floor where Cactus gives him a Flying Elbow! That’s another pinfall for Cactus, Sullivan’s up at three. Sullivan’s getting mad now and yanks Cactus off the rampway by his hair! Cactus punches back and tosses a table into the ring. The referee sets the table up in the corner. They head into the ring where Cactus slams Sullivan into the table for two. They go back to the floor where Cactus delivers a Sunset Flip off the apron. Sullivan won’t go down and tries to squash him, but Cactus moves out of the way. Cactus puts Sullivan into the front row and tries to Cannonball into Sullivan over the railing, but Sullivan stands back and lets Cactus hit the concrete! Back over the barricade, Sullivan nails Cactus with a chair. That gets three. Cactus is up at three and immediately kicked into the corner for more stiff punches to the face. They go back to the rampway where Sullivan blasts Cactus again with a chair, followed by a stiff DDT on the chair! Some medics run down to check on Cactus, and it looks like Cactus Jack is injured and can not continue. Sullivan shoves them away, but are stopped by WCW Security and Doug Dillenger. Kevin Sullivan is declared the winner as the violent desert madman Cactus Jack is removed on a gurney by medics. This was a Trick or Treat match with serious teeth, pitting two of the craziest, stiffest, most violent men in the business in an environment where they could let their insanity run loose. In a Trick or Treat match that had superb wrestling and a great reaction from the crowd, Kevin Sullivan defeated Cactus Jack in a Trick or Treat match in 10:04 by stoppage when Cactus Jack was injured and could not continue. Flair goes low and tries to send Hulk into the Steel Cage, but Flair tastes the steel instead. Flair goes after the knee and takes Hogan to school. Flair hits the Rolling Knee Drop, but Hogan reverses a Cross Corner Whip and follows in with a Clothesline. Hogan tries to choke Flair down with his t-shirt before Mr. T takes it away. Flair comes off the top with a Double-Ax handle to turn the tide. Flair delivers a Vertical Suplex and Hogan actually stays down for 1-2!. Hulk No-Sells some Chops and fires back. Flair tries to climb out the steel cage and Hogan follows him up to smash his head onto the rim of the cage. Of course, Flair walks across the top rope and gets crotched. Hogan runs into a Boot in the corner, but once again No-Sells Chops. Hogan grinds Flair’s face into the cage. Flair tries to climb out again even though that’s not an option for you to win. Hogan pulls him back in by his trunks and smashes his face into the steel mesh some more. Out of nowhere, Flair counters a Headlock with a Shinbreaker and once again takes Hogan to school. Wooo! The Figure Four Leglock is applied in the center of the ring! Hogan sells for about thirty seconds and then reverses the hold. Hulk Up Time! Hogan, shaking his fists, looks deep within himself and remembers what A Real American Hero is, while Flair is on his knees begging for mercy. No more! Flair's had enough. The finger wag and the crowd goes nuts and Hulk makes his big comeback! Punch, Punch, Punch, Irish Whip, Big Boot and Leg Drop to finish off Flair. In an unbelievable match, Hulk Hogan defeated Ric Flair in a Steel Cage match in 31:25 by pinfall. During the match we also had Masked Assailant run in and attack Hulk Hogan. Garbage hardcore matches between Payne vs. One Man Gang and Cactus vs. Sullivan. The hard-hitting war between Angel vs. Vader. And some awesome WCW matches between Pillman vs. Austin, Dustin vs. Arn and Steamboat vs. The Great Muta.
