OCTOBER 2017, WEEK 1…

Show Rating: 81

Announce Team:

9eHH4Wa.pnglNhSZHh.jpg

Peter Michaels and Tom Townsend

FHBGE7Y.png

We kicked off this edition of North Of The Border Pro Wrestling: Championship Wrestling with 'The Man Without Fear' Sonny Wildside heading to the ring... The NOTBPW Television Champion was invited to sit at ringside for the opening contest, by his opponent at October Obliteration: 'Mainstream' James Hernandez... Hernandez believes that he's going to beat Wildside this Saturday, after he selected a 2 Out Of 3 Falls Match for the stipulation for the match... That is despite Wildside defeating him by 3 falls to 0 in their recent 'Scramble Match'... Wildside pulled out a steel chair and sat in front of the announce desk...

'All Business'
Harrison Hash
[vs] 'Mainstream'
James Hernandez

James Hernandez and Harrison Hash put on the Match of the Night here, and were both impressive for the 11 minutes that they battled for. Hernandez had a point to prove tonight, and he constantly looked over to Sonny Wildside to show him how good he is! But it almost cost him in the end, because when he looked over to Wildside, he took his eye off Hash, and Hash locked him up in the 'Montreal Deep Sleeper'! Luckily for Hernandez, he was close enough to the ropes to break the hold. He then exploded into life and hit his 'Apparition #14' Spear, and Hash was beaten!

Winner:
'Mainstream' James Hernandez

Rating:
81

Finish:
'Apparition #14' (Spear)

</div>

After the match, James Hernandez told Sonny Wildside to keep watching, and the former NOTBPW Television Champion waited for Harrison Hash to rise to his feet... Hernandez then delivered a Super Kick right under the jaw of the veteran, and fell into another cover... He counted to three himself, but he could have counted to one hundred... Hash was knocked clean out!! Hernandez then stood up, and shouted at Sonny Wildside that it would be that easy for him this Saturday at October Obliteration... He'll get two quick pins, with two different moves, and the match would be over in a flash... and then Hernandez can take back 'his' NOTBPW Television Championship!!

Ahead of the next match, the announce team informed us that Primed For Progress (Cameron Vessey and Christian Price) the NEW NOTBPW Tag Team Champions WILL make a Title defence this Saturday at October Obliteration... Their opponents will be the men they attacked last week on Championship Wrestling: Thrill Seeker and 'Cut Throat' Trent Shaffer!! An interesting duo with bags of experience, for Seeker, he has particular experience in the tag team division, and knows Vessey and Price very well... Tonight, they were in action too, taking on Donte Dunn and Erik Strong in something of a 'warm-up match'... For Dunn and Strong, it was an opportunity to defeat the Number One Contenders for the Titles!!

<div style="background-color:#ffffff;color:darkred;border-style:solid;border-width:3px";">

Trent Shaffer & Thrill Seeker
[vs]
Donte Dunn & Erik Strong

Trent Shaffer and Thrill Seeker worked well together at times, and they found they clicked chemistry wise almost straight away. It was a brawl at times, as Erik Strong tried to keep things close. But as soon as Thrill Seeker got some space, he was able to run and fly like only he (and his injured tag team partner Jacob Jett) can. For the finish though, it was Shaffer who managed to finish off Strong with his brutal looking 'Heart Burn' finisher, as he grabbed Strong's arms up, and stomped right on the middle of his chest!

Winners:
Trent Shaffer & Thrill Seeker

Rating:
77

Finish:
'Heart Burn' (Chest Stomp)

</div>

M8PLbGe.jpgXHDUm75.jpgzz3HrpT.jpg

After their victory, Trent Shaffer and Thrill Seeker were joined in the ring by the man who came to their aid against Edd Stone, Tim Westybrook, Bryan Vessey, Cameron Vessey and Christian Price last week: 'The Ace' Aaron Andrews... Andrews strolled to the ring, and congratulated Shaffer and Seeker on their win... He then also wished them luck against Vessey and Price as they will challenge this Saturday, for the NOTBPW Tag Team Titles... But Andrews had a challenge of his own to make... He called Edd Stone a 'snake', and the only way to keep a snake from escaping and causing anarchy, is to contain it!! So this Saturday, Aaron Andrews versus Edd Stone... in a STEEL CAGE MATCH!!

If that match goes ahead, it'll be the second Steel Cage Match of the night... October Obliteration is known for its Cage Matches, and there are normally at least three... So far this year, we have Wade Orson versus POISON happening inside a Cage, and now Aaron Andrews and Edd Stone battling 1 on 1 for the third time in 2017, in what will be a 'rubber match' between the youngsters... Will we get a third Cage Match...?! Perhaps later tonight, we'll find out...

We did learn however, that regardless of who wins when Trent Shaffer and Thrill Seeker battle Cameron Vessey and Christian Price this Saturday, we're going to need new Number One Contenders for the NOTBPW Tag Team Titles... So next week, here on NOTBPW Championship Wrestling, four teams are going to fight in a four corners tag team elimination match!! Former Champions: Bad Reputation, will compete against The American Blondes... The Ring Generals... and the team known as Mayhem... The winner, will go to the next pay-per-view in October Week 4: NOTBPW ANARCHY!!

'The Anvil'
Mark Griffin
[vs] 'The Monster'
Gargantuan

As one sided a match as they come here. 'The Anvil' Mark Griffin weighs 248lbs but Gargantuan made him look like he weight half that as 'The Monster' threw him around the ring. After about four minutes, 'Mighty' Danny Cavanagh arrived on the scene, and Gargantuan was angered by his arrival. Cavanagh could only watch as Gargantuan hit his 'Ultimate Backbreaker'!

Winner:
'The Monster' Gargantuan

Rating:
79

Finish:
'Ultimate Backbreaker' (Military Press Drop onto Knee)

</div>

DlxKp2T.pngndGS74t.jpg

Danny Cavanagh stayed well out of Gargantuan's way as 'The Monster' left the ring... As he got to the stage, Cav had a microphone, and told him to stop where he was... 'Mighty' Cavanagh tried to explain his reason for being out there... He tried to insist that he arrived only to make sure Mark Griffin didn't win, a comment that drew laughter from the fans, from Gargantuan, and from the announce team... But Cav persisted... He said that HE wants to be the one to beat Gargantuan... and that nobody else should get the chance...

Danny Cavanagh:
“I'll be watching closely this Saturday Gargantuan... and if I feel like Angry Gilmore is getting too close... you know what I'll do... BUT... I want him to HURT you... soften you up real nice for me... I'm not fighting him tonight... He has enough on his plate against Jack DeColt... and I am NOT ducking him... I want Gargantuan, and that's IT... Nobody else... I won't fight anybody else until I get 'The Monster' 1 on 1 again!!”

WFIF6c9.pngykdqdiY.jpg0h7IIQX.jpgfZp6XVU.jpgg1qE0Ap.jpghXUrhk2.jpg

Speaking of Jack DeColt, 'The Wild Man' himself was backstage next, talking to Katie Cameron... Jack claimed he had a new Nephew in Logan, and welcomed him to the family... He then started talking about Dan DaLay, saying how the big man runs his mouth... His comments were ill-timed, because DaLay, Derek Frost, and DaLay's son Robin were nearby, and overheard him... A fight almost broke out, but Logan arrived just in time to keep the peace... Dan DaLay was angry though, and he told Logan that he's a DaLAY... Not a damn DeCOLT...!! Logan looked torn, as Derek Frost and Robin DaLay took big Dan out of there, and Logan held his Uncle Jack DeColt back... This Saturday at October Obliteration, Dan DaLay and Jack DeColt will go 1 on 1 for the first time since they signed for NOTBPW!!

'Awesome'
Wade Orson
[vs] 'The Silent Threat'
John Maverick
w/ Julian Watson

Since signing for NOTBPW, Wade Orson has been targeted by both Lord James King and POISON. He's overcome both challenges so far, but has POISON again this Saturday at October Obliteration. Tonight was an altogether different challenge, but John Maverick targeted a body part – Orson's left knee. He believed, according to the announce team, that if Orson's knee was taken out, he couldn't 'kip-up' to hit his finisher. The principle might have been right, but in practice it was hard to keep the young Brit down for long. In the end, he
did
hit his 'Bounce Back' finishing move, and he scored a hard-fought win.

Winner:
'Awesome' Wade Orson

Rating:
73

Finish:
'Bounce Back' (Kip Up DDT)

</div>

zox5mH7.jpgkcix8Kh.jpg7XHuCGx.jpgQJpSOQm.jpg

After the match was over, the man known as POISON hit the ring, and waited for Wade Orson to turn around... Julian Watson provided the distraction, and kept Orson's attention away from POISON... But as Orson turned to face his attacker, and POISON was ready to unleash his 'Green Mist', John Maverick slowly stood up behind Orson... The 'Green Mist' flew out of POISON's mouth, just as Orson ducked, and in a perfectly timed moment, Maverick stood up!! The veteran tag team specialist was covered all over his face by the mist, and he was furious... So was Julian Watson, and so was POISON... but Wade Orson had escaped unscathed, and with no mist on his face!! This Saturday, he'll battle POISON one last time, inside a Steel Cage!!

xiceyGo.jpg

A2w89Wx.jpgVqXvNTT.pngn3V44v4.png

Backstage, 'Shooter' Sean Deeley was talking to his friends Dean Waldorf and Marv Statler: The Ring Generals... Deeley was angry about Ernest Youngman's actions from last week, when he BEAT Deeley, and then stormed to the back... Deeley hasn't heard from his young 'protege' all week, and he was upset... Waldorf and Statler didn't know what to make of the situation, and asked if perhaps Deeley was too harsh on him... This comment, from Waldorf, caused Deeley to go from upset to downright furious... He said that Youngman needed 'tough love', and it worked, because he won... somehow... Deeley slammed a nearby locker with his fist, and stormed out of the room... The Ring Generals looked a little bit torn... None of 'The Shooters' have a match this Saturday, so we'll probably have to wait until next week to see how this story develops...

Gino Montero
w/ Luis Montero Jr. [vs] 'The Young Gun'
Ricky DeColt
w/ Steve DeColt

If you thought last week's Ernest Youngman victory over Sean Deeley was a shock result, this match will blow it out of the water! Ricky DeColt is a former 2-time World Champion in CGC, and has improved dramatically as a performer in NOTBPW. But tonight, he was out-wrestled, and out-smarted by the young Mexican star: Gino Montero. Gino had the crowd behind him tonight, willing him on to win, but they never really thought he could. In truth, Ricky DeColt made just one mistake in the entire match, which was fairly open and even. As Gino came off the ropes, 'The Young Gun' dropped his head to deliver a back body drop. But Gino took the invitation, hopped on DeColt's shoulders, and hit his 'Destiny Explosion' finisher!

Winner:
Gino Montero w/ Luis Montero Jr.

Rating:
79

Finish:
'Destiny Explosion' (Canadian Destroyer)

</div>

In what was easily the biggest win of Gino Montero's short NOTBPW career, he and his elder brother Luis Montero Jr. celebrated in the ring, while Steve DeColt grabbed his brother Ricky and pulled him out under the bottom rope... A tough loss for Ricky to take tonight, but Gino Montero earned that win!! If the same happens on Saturday at October Obliteration, Los Monteros will catapult themselves right up the roster... Picking up a win over the 7-time World Champion: Steve DeColt will make them into stars straight away... The announce team continued to talk up the first ever DeColts versus Monteros tag team match, but they also had a mention for Ricky Dale Johnson... and his potential replacement at the booth...

Peter Michaels:
“So myself and Tom Townsend would like to offer our best wishes to the man who called me 'Maggles'... Ricky Dale Johnson... RDJ was, and always will be, my friend... my brother... and my go-to guy for incredible catchphrases and anecdotes... But now, it's on with the show...”

Tom Townsend:
“It is MAGGLES... and joining us next week will be our NEW broadcast colleague... I haven't been told as yet who it'll be, but rumour has it, he's British!! So that should bring some much needed sophistication out here...”

Angry Gilmore
[vs] 'Wild Man'
Jack DeColt

Angry Gilmore has battled Steve DeColt 1 on 1, on his first night with the company, but this was his first match against 'Wild Man' Jack DeColt! In some ways, they are very similar in their fighting style, but when things get to the nitty gritty, and fists start to fly Jack DeColt prefers to brawl, while Angry Gilmore prefers to tackle you at the knees, and take you down! He did that to Jack tonight, and began pummelling his opponent with elbow strikes. He then locked him in an ankle lock, and then jumped on his back with a sleeper! Jack was able to run backwards and slam Gilmore into the corner, but as Jack turned around and ran forwards at Gilmore, he lifted his boot up, and knocked the DeColt brother down! Gilmore then hopped to the top rope, leapt high into the air, and delivered his patented 'Sky High Elbow' Drop!

Winner:
Angry Gilmore

Rating:
80

Finish:
'Sky High Elbow'

</div>

Snk2agd.jpg

After the match, Angry Gilmore asked for a microphone, because he had a message for his opponent for this Saturday: Gargantuan... Gilmore said that he knew he came close to beating 'The Monster' at The Scramble, but now it's time to be locked inside a steel cage with the NOTBPW Canadian Champion... He said he'd seen Gargantuan in the Total War structure... and he took some tips from that match... He said he'd watched HIS match against Gargantuan, and knows his weaknesses, and his strengths... and he thinks Gargantuan doesn't like confined spaces... But he also had another reason for wanting to be locked in there with Gargantuan...

Angry Gilmore:
“I don't wanna just lock Gargantuan IN... I want to lock Danny Cavanagh OUT...!! I know you want to be the 'one' that beats Gargantuan... But you had your chance to beat him... You had your chance to fight ME for your next opportunity... But you didn't take either of them... and if I see your fat, stupid, face near me and MY match... I'll kill you!!”

A defiant Angry Gilmore soaked in the cheers from the fans as he stood on the second rope... He'll fight Gargantuan in a Cage Match this Saturday at October Obliteration... While the show was going off the air, the announce team confirmed that NOTBPW General Manager Alex DeColt would return to North of the Border Pro Wrestling next week on Championship Wrestling... He'll be here to clean things up after a chaotic couple of weeks, but also
clear
up the situation surrounding his SON, Logan... We found out last week that Alex Fathered a son at the age of 18, and the Mother, was Dan DaLay's sister Romy...!! They'll all be here next week, just four nights after October Obliteration...

Those gits USPW put on a 100 rated instant classic 5 star match again this week... Tommy Cornell defeated Rich Money in the Main Event of their weekly show and it pulled a 100! It dragged their show rating up to 88 too, which is far better than NOTBPW's offering of 81... Our highest rated match was 81 too, and we only had two highly rated segments... I thought I had a good roster, but I'm struggling to score big and keep up with USPW, SOTBPW and SWF... Maybe I should have taken Tommy Cornell when I had the chance!! By the way, the USPW undercard was: Remo over Andre Jones (89), Sean McFly over Chris Caulfield (89), and The Wrath of God (Rogue) over Running Wolf (85)... Plus a 63 rated women's division match... Gahhh they're doing well!

Harrison Hash's contract is up at the end of the month, and I've decided not to renew it... It's a shame, as he's one I've always been a fan of... At 42, and one of our least over mid carders, he doesn't have much upside unfortunately... his last 2 or 3 matches will be used to give some popularity to some of my younger and rising stars... and some that just need a boost momentum/booking wise...

<em>Please call the cementery and the cleaning services, because this is going to be a mess, Gargantuan is going to break in half this poor jobber, Gargantuan is on a destructive path, and I wouldnt want to stand in his way, more while he has to train for a Canadian Title Defence</em></p><p> </p><p>

<strong>'Awesome' Wade Orson</strong> [vs] John Maverick w/ Julian Watson</p><p> </p><p>

<em>The young British prospect that is doing important things like having a feud, wont lose to a guy that only is one of the heel jobbers of the tag division, so what can we expect from him in the singles division, even less.</em></p><p> </p><p>

Gino Montero w/ Luis Montero Jr. [vs] <strong>Ricky DeColt w/ Steve DeColt</strong></p><p> </p><p>

<em>The Monteros are spectacular, but it doesnt matter, how much popularity they have built until now, they are nowhere near to the levels the DeColts are, is Ricky the second guy of the team against Gino the top guy of the team so I could see the upset, but I dont think the Monteros are nowhere ready to be a threat to the DeColts.</em></p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Angry Gilmore</strong> [vs] 'Wild Man' Jack DeColt</p><p> </p><p>

<em>Angry Gilmore must do this he is on his way to have a match against fraking Gargantuan, if he must beat one of the top heels in Jack DeColt, he will do it, he cannot be seen as less than a destroyer if he wants to be seen as a threat to Gargantuan, I could see the Dalays interfiring, but I think a clean win, could do volumes for Gilmores Credibility, so I hope they dont interfere, also Jack is over enough to eat the loss and not suffer because of it.</em></p>

<p>CAGE Match: </p><p>

<strong>'The Ace' Aaron Andrews</strong> [vs] 'The Animal' Edd Stone w/ Tim Westybrook</p><p>

Comments: <em>A big match to open the show, I'm predicting there will be a ton of cage-related shenanigans with Ace ending up squeaking out of this one with a big win.</em></p><p> </p><p>

CAGE Match: </p><p>

<strong>'Awesome' Wade Orson</strong> [vs] POISON</p><p>

Comments: <em>Big time match for Orson to show his stuff. We've seen Orson just wrestle a bunch but fighting in a cage is a whole different beast, so it's time to see if he can hang with the vets.</em></p><p> </p><p>

Grudge Match: </p><p>

'The Iron Fist' Dan DaLay [vs] <strong>'Wild Man' Jack DeColt</strong></p><p>

Comments: <em>I can see a swerve or some family-related shenanigans but I think that'll come after (or before) the match, as it is now DaLay isn't beating the former champ Jack one on one.</em></p><p> </p><p>

NOTBPW Tag Team Title Match: </p><p>

Trent Shaffer & Thrill Seeker [vs] <strong>Cameron Vessey & Christian Price ©</strong> w/ Bryan Vessey</p><p>

Comments: <em>While Shaffer and Seeker's good chemistry probably gave you a few good ideas about making them a long-term team, I don't think they dethrone the champs and continue the hot-potatoing of the tag titles.</em></p><p> </p><p>

NOTBPW Television Title, 2 out of 3 Falls Match: </p><p>

Comments: <em>Sonny retains by the skin of his teeth, but he shows that he seems to have Hernandez's number.</em></p><p> </p><p>

First Time Ever Match: </p><p>

Steve DeColt & Ricky DeColt [vs] <strong>Gino Montero & Luis Montero Jr.</strong></p><p>

Comments: <em>A DeColt win is status quo. After tons of promos and interviews, the Monteros lost their debut on PPV, so I don't see them losing their second big match here.</em></p><p> </p><p>

NOTBPW Canadian Title, CAGE Match: </p><p>

<p>CAGE Match: </p><p>

<strong>'The Ace' Aaron Andrews</strong> [vs] 'The Animal' Edd Stone w/ Tim Westybrook</p><p>

Comments: What a way to open up the show. This is prime to be a show stealer. Triple A gets his first huge win beating the odds. </p><p> </p><p>

CAGE Match: </p><p>

<strong>'Awesome' Wade Orson</strong> [vs] POISON</p><p>

Comments: I like POISON so much. I've always been a fan of Joey Poison. But his time has past sadly. Orson though, has turned me into a fan of his. I expect huge things from him. Hopefully he will never get hurt. </p><p> </p><p>

Grudge Match: </p><p>

'The Iron Fist' Dan DaLay [vs] <strong>'Wild Man' Jack DeColt</strong></p><p>

Comments: Clean or with help from Logan, in no existence is Dan DaLay ever going to one up Jack. He maybe able to swindle through Alex DeColt, but not the Wild Man. </p><p> </p><p>

NOTBPW Tag Team Title Match: </p><p>

Trent Shaffer & Thrill Seeker [vs] <strong>Cameron Vessey & Christian Price ©</strong> w/ Bryan Vessey</p><p>

Comments: A great card, with this? This is the one match i do not like seeing. In no way do Shaffer and Seeker earn this match, and Storyline reasons don't do it justice I'm afraid. Its a great disservice to Mayhem, who deserve their tag reign. P4P also just won these belts. They in my book, deserve it more than these two. </p><p> </p><p>

NOTBPW Television Title, 2 out of 3 Falls Match: </p><p>

<strong>'No Fear' Sonny Wildside ©</strong> [vs] 'Mainstream' James Hernandez</p><p>

Comments: Mainstream has to move on. I enjoy him in a Miz like role obsession for the TV title. But its time to go to the Wildside. I imagine this being, 2-1 Sonny winning with his amazing finisher.</p><p> </p><p>

First Time Ever Match: </p><p>

Steve DeColt & Ricky DeColt [vs] <strong>Gino Montero & Luis Montero Jr</strong>.</p><p>

Comments: The Monteros need this win, but it will NOT be clean i can see it. Ricky may betray Steve because he will feel like he is being used by Steve, just like Jack was using him to try to elevate his own, rather than for the both of them. </p><p> </p><p>

NOTBPW Canadian Title, CAGE Match: </p><p>

Angry Gilmore [vs] <strong>'The Monster' Gargantuan ©</strong></p><p>

NOTBPW Television Title, 2 out of 3 Falls Match: </p><p>

<strong>'No Fear' Sonny Wildside</strong> © [vs] 'Mainstream' James Hernandez</p><p>

Comments: Seeing Mainstream turn to the darkside was not what I had expected. But it is an enjoyable trip, I don't see him win the title again so soon, maybe one pin, but he is the Main Event of the future so that is where he needs to go. </p><p> </p><p>

First Time Ever Match: </p><p>

Angry Gilmore [vs] <strong>'The Monster' Gargantuan ©</strong></p><p>

Comments: Would kind of like to see Gilmore here win, it would make Cavanagh livid and I guess that would be a fun feud. But Gargantuan is unstoppable and I don't see any man believable enough to take the belt, I always thought it was going to be Hernandez, but a heel vs heel title match is unlikely. </p><p> </p><p>

Sorry for calling you out specifically... but you do get a LOT wrong... I mean a LOT... Not just little bits, but like, all of it! :D :D :D hahaha!! I'm kidding of course!! You got the Main Event wrong though. ;)

Ouch...but I can't even make a case that you're wrong. I'm on tilt and have to find my way back.

CAGE Match:

'The Ace' Aaron Andrews [vs] 'The Animal' Edd Stone w/ Tim Westybrook

Comments: It has a certain TCW feel here, but I can't explain why... This is kind of the first real installment here between these two in an individual feud, so I am going with Edd as the leader of the new crew and to start this off on the right (or wrong?) foot.

CAGE Match:

'Awesome' Wade Orson [vs] POISON

Comments: I flipped around a few times on this one. POISON is such a great character, but because of his snake-ish style, he can win by losing feuds. Orson is an up and coming talent in NOTBPW, while POISON has to be sinking a bit with his age and injury history. But I think this one could be quite the rubber match (but it is more than 3 in a 3 month span, so might get docked points for repetitive booking).

Grudge Match:

'The Iron Fist' Dan DaLay [vs] 'Wild Man' Jack DeColt

Comments: It is interesting from a storyline perspective, but there is no planet in which Dan should pin DeColt here.

NOTBPW Tag Team Title Match:

Trent Shaffer & Thrill Seeker [vs] Cameron Vessey & Christian Price © w/ Bryan Vessey

Comments: A bit of a forced matchup, and I'd be lying if I didn't think Mayhem should be the champs here. But PFP got the belts back, and Mayhem will have to wait a little while at least until a face team gets them back. For now, PFP is as good a team as you have.

NOTBPW Television Title, 2 out of 3 Falls Match:

'No Fear' Sonny Wildside © [vs] 'Mainstream' James Hernandez

Comments: I envision Wildside to be a bubbly Jeff Hardy guy, willing to do something stupid to get that last pin. Here's to hoping he takes a stunt bump doing it to really make this the barnburner it should be.

First Time Ever Match:

Steve DeColt & Ricky DeColt [vs] Gino Montero & Luis Montero Jr.

Comments: Could the Monteros win? Of course. Should the Monteros win? Maybe. But I don't think Steve should be on the losing end here, and letting him pin Luis gives Gino and Luis a bump for just crossing horns with the great DeColts while keeping Steve atop the pecking order.

NOTBPW Canadian Title, CAGE Match:

Angry Gilmore [vs] 'The Monster' Gargantuan ©

Comments: I might pick against Gargantuan if it was Mark Griffin...wait.

But either way, I don't think this is Gilmore's time.

Bonus:

1). Which match will be Match of the Night?: _Wildside/Hernandez_

2). What will the overall show rating be?: _87_ (within 5 gets a point. Spot on gets 2 points)

3). How many Titles will change hands?: (out of three) _0_

With a huge steel cage surrounding the ring, we kicked off with the first of THREE Cage Matches... Aaron Andrews and Edd Stone have been on opposite sides of a turf war for months, and tonight they finally lock horns 1 on 1 again... Edd has assembled a group of bandits, who drove Ricky Dale Johnson out of town at last month's Scramble pay-per-view... But new help has arrived for the 'good side', as Andrews now has Trent Shaffer and Thrill Seeker watching his back... Tonight though, Shaffer and Seeker have a NOTBPW Tag Team Title shot to prepare for, so Andrews was going it alone... Conversely, Edd Stone had back up in the form of his 'Enforcer' Tim Westybrook...</div></div></div></div><p><span style="font-family:'Century Gothic';"></span></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div></div></div></div><p><span style="font-family:'Century Gothic';"></span></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;">

</div></div></div></div><p></p><p><span style="font-family:'Century Gothic';"></span></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;">

<div style="background-color:#ffffff;color:darkred;border-style:solid;border-width:3px";"></div></div></div><div style="text-align:center;"><p><span style="font-family:'Century Gothic';"></span></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;">

</div></div></div></div><img alt="5ve9xBM.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/5ve9xBM.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><p><span style="font-family:'Century Gothic';"></span></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div></div></div></div><p><span style="font-family:'Century Gothic';"></span></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;">

With a massive cage surrounding the ring, it was hard for 'The Enforcer' Tim Westybrook to influence the match as much as he normally would in favour of Edd Stone. However, the door was never locked, so he </div></div></div></div><span style="font-family:'Century Gothic';"></span><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><em> could </em></div></div></div></div><span style="font-family:'Century Gothic';"></span><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"> have gotten in there to beat down Aaron Andrews any time he liked! Instead, the big man opted to LOCK the Cage Door after numerous attempts at an escape and a victory by Andrews! 'The Ace' was also blasted on the top of the head BY the cage door at the hands of Westybrook at one point. Westybrook then used a chain and a padlock to keep the competitors in the cage! Late on, Andrews tried to open the door and squeeze through the gap that the chain allowed for, but he couldn't get through. On the other side of the ring, Edd Stone threatened to climb out over the wall, with Westybrook stood ready to catch his leader! Andrews got free of the door and raced over to stop his rival. The two men sat atop the cage wall, trading punches and forearms, before Edd fell and landed hard between the cage wall and the ropes!! Westybrook's demeanour changed now, and he told Andrews in no uncertain terms: NOT to jump! But 'The Ace' didn't listen to the big man, and leapt into his arms with a beautiful flying body press. Winning the match via Cage Escape!!</div></div></div></div><p><span style="font-family:'Century Gothic';"></span></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div></div></div></div><p><span style="font-family:'Century Gothic';"></span></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;">

After the match, Aaron Andrews strolled up the ramp as Edd Stone was helped out of the gap between cage wall and ring ropes as best as he could be... Tim Westybrook remained down on the outside of the ring, holding his injured ribs and writhing in pain... 'The Ace' celebrated with the nearby fans, and then insinuated that his friends Trent Shaffer and Thrill Seeker would become the NEW NOTBPW Tag Team Champions a little later tonight... Our other two Championship Matches were still to come... Sonny Wildside defending his newly won NOTBPW Television Title against the man he beat for the Belt: 'Mainstream' James Hernandez in a 2 out of 3 Falls Match!! And in the Main Event, the THIRD and FINAL Cage Match... Angry Gilmore versus Gargantuan for 'The Monster's' coveted NOTBPW Canadian Championship!! Before all of that though, the second Cage Match of the evening, between rivals Wade Orson and POISON...</div></div></div></div><p><span style="font-family:'Century Gothic';"></span></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div></div></div></div><p><span style="font-family:'Century Gothic';"></span></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;">

Newcomer Wade Orson has been purposefully built up slowly as a competitor in Canada. He began with a rivalry with Lord James King, and has since battled POISON a few times, but he's still adjusting to life North of the Border, so he needs to find his feet a little before he's unleashed on the rest of the roster. For POISON, it's arguably the same since returning from a serious concussion. Slightly away from the Main Event rivalries, this feud has centred around one attack from POISON on Orson on the night POISON return to the company! Since then, Orson has beaten POISON, TWICE on pay-per-view. At Summer Smash, and then at the recent Scramble event. For the finish tonight, much like in the first match, we had both men sat perched on the top of the Cage wall, ready to fight until one fell back into the ring. POISON had the advantage, being right handed. Orson had to use his left for fear of hitting POISON so hard he fell out of the cage to the floor! POISON was knocked backwards at one point, and seemed to grab at his face inexplicably. He then leant forwards and sprayed the 'Green Mist' into Orson's eyes!! Orson was blinded and couldn't tell where he was! He also didn't see POISON slowly and arrogantly climb down out of the Cage to score the upset win!</div></div></div></div><p><span style="font-family:'Century Gothic';"></span></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div></div></div></div><p><span style="font-family:'Century Gothic';"></span></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;">

The following match saw 'The Iron Fist' Dan DaLay taking on 'Wild Man' Jack DeColt... Their feud has recently been re-ignited in NOTBPW, after years of battling it out in CGC... It's all down to the big reveal of Alex DeColt's big secret: That he has a SON called Logan, who was Fathered by Alex at just 18 years old... and mothered by Dan DaLay's sister Romy... Who was also just 18 years old... The reveal has caused a rift between the DaLays and DeColts, and we as yet don't know where Logan's loyalties will land him... Will he side with his mother Romy, his uncle Dan and his cousin Robin DaLay, who he has formed a decent young tag team with...?! Or will he choose to follow his father Alex DeColt, who just so happens to be his boss, and one of the best wrestlers in the history of Canadian wrestling...?! A man who didn't care he even existed until recently...!!</div></div></div></div><p><span style="font-family:'Century Gothic';"></span></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div></div></div></div><p><span style="font-family:'Century Gothic';"></span></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;">

With the cage now returning high up into the rafters, it was time for our next match. The youngster known as 'Logan' HAD to be watching this match unfold from the back, and if he was, he would have seen a thrilling encounter between two men who know what they're doing out there! Dan DaLay looked to out-muscle his opponent, and use his 65lb advantage to try and overwhelm Jack DeColt. But as soon as things got a little stretched late on, Jack came into his element, and began delivering brutal punches and kicks. The brawling 'Wild Man' even delivered a brutal headbutt to DaLay's nose, causing the veteran to bleed and look in a bad way! For the finish, DaLay missed a clothesline in the corner of the ring, and clattered into the turnbuckle pad nose and face first! After the match, Dan DaLay offered a handshake to Jack DeColt that the 'Wild Man' arrogantly turned down... He turned his back on DaLay, and the big fan favourite wasn't happy with the DeColt Brother... He pulled Jack's shoulder to spin him round, and Jack shoved him to the ground... The altercation brought DaLay's best friend Derek Frost, his son Robin DaLay, his sister Romy DaLay and his Nephew Logan to the ring... they all got between Dan DaLay and Jack DeColt, and tried to break up the fight... Jack managed to get one more shove in on DaLay, as his friends and family held him back... Jack then left the ring, and ordered Logan to follow him!! 'The Alliance' of Thrill Seeker and Trent Shaffer makes a lot of sense. Both are solid and consistent, and very well respected in-ring performers who plied their trade in CGC before making the move to NOTBPW in 2016. Seeker has had a number of successes as a tag team with Jacob Jett, while Shaffer became NOTBPW Canadian Champion just four months after signing with the company! Standing in their way tonight though, were a motivated and ruthless duo on Cameron Vessey and Christian Price. The two young studs are no strangers to Thrill Seeker, and made it their mission to send him to the same injury shelf as his tag team partner: Jett! But Seeker is resilient, and he fought hard in there to get the tag to his teammate Trent Shaffer. When the 32 year old exploded into life, the momentum swung significantly in his teams favour. However, the two fan favourites were always outnumbered, and Bryan Vessey made all the difference with a distraction to Thrill Seeker late on. It allowed Cameron Vessey to push Seeker out through the ropes. This prompted a high kick to Cam Vessey's face from Trent Shaffer. Which in turn allowed Christian Price enough time to line up and land his 'Stud Stopper' Stunner finisher!</div></div></div></div><p><span style="font-family:'Century Gothic';"></span></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div></div></div></div><p><span style="font-family:'Century Gothic';"></span></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;">

After the match, the victorious Christian Price, Cameron Vessey and their 'help' Bryan Vessey, made their way to the back... Trent Shaffer and Thrill Seeker rose to their feet together in the ring, and began circling one another as if they were going to fight... The fans chanted 'HUG-IT-OUT', and the two fan favourites both stopped and looked around at the audience, who was now standing in appreciation of their efforts... Slowly, Trent Shaffer outstretched a hand, and offered a handshake to his partner tonight... Thrill Seeker looked to the fans for their approval, and they gave it to him... A 2 out of 3 Falls Match was the stipulation selected by the challenger: James Hernandez for his re-match for the NOTBPW Television Championship. Hernandez lost 3-0 in a Scramble Match at The Scramble last month, to his opponent tonight: Sonny Wildside. Yet he still felt this was the right stipulation to choose. Wildside has mocked Hernandez for his selection, but has said that he respects 'Mr. Mainstream' for his lack of 'Fear' in choosing a match stipulation like this. Wildside has however, said that Hernandez should have chosen a stipulation which favours a 'fluke win', because that's all Hernandez can realistically hope for. Wildside's comments in recent weeks had clearly angered Hernandez, because he came out of the blocks fast in this match. He was aggressive, and consistent in his attack on Wildside's lower back and kidney area. He picked up the first fall of the match in under 10 minutes, after cutting Wildside down with his 'Apparition #14' Spear! Wildside landed hard on the small of his back, and the referee had to give him a minute to recover. When the referee deemed Wildside fit to continue, Hernandez sprung into life, looking to hit a second Spear. But Wildside leapfrogged over it, and the fired up Hernandez hit the corner buckle. Wildside got a 'fluke' roll-up, and managed to pin Hernandez to even things up! From then on, determined not to make a mistake, Hernandez was slow and methodical. But the usually cool, calm, and collected Hernandez was angered once again moments later, when Wildside attempted another roll-up! Hernandez kicked out at 2, and then kicked Wildside on the bridge of his nose! Wildside was losing blood now. Not a lot of blood, but enough for him to notice it, and it suddenly became a fight, not a wrestling match. It seemed like both men were handing out receipts for stiff shots left, right and centre. For the finish, it was Hernandez's ribs that were the difference, having been worked on for a few minutes. Wildside hit a front suplex onto the top rope, and Hernandez's mid-section was in real trouble. A stomp from the outside in, and then a Spear of his own were enough to score more near falls for the NOTBPW Television Champ. In the end though, the 'Fear Factor' sealed Wildside the win, just like it has on countless other occasions throughout 2017!</div></div></div></div><p><span style="font-family:'Century Gothic';"></span></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div></div></div></div><p><span style="font-family:'Century Gothic';"></span></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;">

We cut backstage after the excellent NOTBPW Television Title Match, to where a fight was being broken up by officials and wrestlers...!! Ernest Youngman had apparently shown up and jumped his now former? 'mentor' Sean Deeley...!! Dean Waldorf and Marv Statler were trying to hold the two warring Shooters apart, as were other wrestlers and referees who were nearby... In the end, Deeley delivered a thumb to Youngman's eye while the youngster was being held, and the Shooter strolled off arrogantly... He shouted that Waldorf and Statler should follow him, but they didn't know what to make of the entire situation, and the camera feed cut away before we could see if they did...!!</div></div></div></div><p><span style="font-family:'Century Gothic';"></span></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div></div></div></div><p><span style="font-family:'Century Gothic';"></span></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;">

Even at this early stage of Luis and Gino Montero's NOTBPW careers, it is clear that they aren't afraid to get in the ring with anyone. They challenged the legendary DeColt Family to a match tonight, and a match is what they gave them! Steve and Ricky DeColt are well-travelled Canadian megastars, and NOTBPW is now their home. The Mexican duo of Luis and Gino Montero have only been here a couple of months, but they fought like they owned the place! Ricky DeColt was isolated for a long time, before he was finally able to tag in his older Brother Steve (DeColt). Steve was welcomed into the match by some stiff forearms from Gino Montero, but 'The Outsider' soon took him down and began pounding him into the mat with fists and elbows! Luis Montero Jr.' jumped in at this point, but Steve took him down too! Then all of a sudden, a man appeared at ringside who nobody expected to see arrive there: POISON!!</div></div></div></div><p><span style="font-family:'Century Gothic';"></span></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div></div></div></div><p><span style="font-family:'Century Gothic';"></span></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;">

Fresh off his victory over Wade Orson in the Steel Cage from earlier tonight, POISON stood stoic in the entrance way, about six feet from the ring. He had his 'Green Mist' dripping from his mouth and chin, as if he'd just sprayed it at someone. He was breathing heavily, and a smile crept across his face when Steve DeColt's gaze was taken by the mysterious multi-coloured veteran. Steve DeColt's attention was only on POISON for a moment though, because he was soon being attacked 2 on 1 by the Montero Brothers. They delivered stereo Super Kicks, before both hitting roundhouse kicks to each side of DeColt's cranium! The veteran DeColt brother flopped to the floor, and Gino Montero went for a cover. Ricky DeColt slid into the ring and tackled Luis Montero Jr. ONTO the pinfall attempt to break it up at 2 and a half! From then on, chaos ensued, as both teams hit double-team moves. In the end though, with POISON watching on and smiling again, Steve DeColt hit his 'DeColt Stampede' big boot to Luis Montero Jr., and then pinned the Mexican star!</div></div></div></div><p><span style="font-family:'Century Gothic';"></span></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div></div></div></div><p><span style="font-family:'Century Gothic';"></span></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;">

After the match, POISON walked backwards slowly up the ramp... Steve DeColt didn't take his eyes off of the veteran, but nobody could say why he was out there... Ricky DeColt, Gino Montero and Luis Montero Jr. exchanged handshakes and showed mutual respect to one another... Steve DeColt eventually apologised and began shaking hands with his Brother, and his two opponents... But he still had one eye on POISON... POISON then stopped, and reached back through the curtain... He grabbed a large piece of card, and some green spray paint, and painted the letters:</div></div></div></div><p><span style="font-family:'Century Gothic';"></span></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div></div></div></div><p><span style="font-family:'Century Gothic';"></span></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;">

Gargantuan is a complex individual in many ways, but he seems to care about only one thing once the bell rings: destruction! All he wants to do, is pummel his opponent until they can't walk, and then throw them into the air and drop them across his huge, tree trunk-like knee. In this Steel Cage Match, he also wanted to use the cage walls to his advantage, and you could see him sizing Angry Gilmore up, and working out ways to use the steel! But Gilmore is a skilled and experienced competitor, and he's already had one crack at 'The Monster'. He would have learnt a lot from their encounter at The Scramble, and he set about going to work on those big, thick, legs of Gargantuan. The NOTBPW Canadian Champion didn't have an answer early on, and it didn't take long for Gilmore to take the 350lber down to his size, on the mat! Gilmore used a variety of limb attacks on Gargantuan's knees, and followed them all up with holds and submission attempts. Gargantuan managed to fight Gilmore off during all the submission attempts, and at one point kicked at Gilmore so hard that his momentum sent him through the ropes and he hit his face on the cage wall!</div></div></div></div><p><span style="font-family:'Century Gothic';"></span></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div></div></div></div><p><span style="font-family:'Century Gothic';"></span></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;">

As the match wore on, it turned into a fist fight. Although Gargantuan is bigger, and stronger, than Angry Gilmore, the former 2-time SWF World Heavyweight Champion knows how to brawl! His hammer-like fists rocked Gargantuan, and the big man didn't seem to have an answer for them either. But eventually, once again, Gargantuan used the steel cage wall to his advantage. He hoisted Gilmore onto his shoulder, and slammed him head-first into the cage! Gargantuan took a breather, but once Gilmore regained his composure, he was right back on his opponent, and had the NOTBPW Canadian Champion in all kinds of trouble. Late on though, Gargantuan once again got some help from an unlikely source, as 'Mighty' Danny Cavanagh ran to the ring, and began to CLIMB the steel cage!! Angry Gilmore cottoned on to what was happening pretty quickly, and he delivered a dropkick to the cage wall that sent Cavanagh flying backwards! Gilmore may have hurt himself in the altercation, as he caught the ropes on the way down and landed hard. Gargantuan saw this as his opportunity to pounce, and he delivered a two-handed choke bomb to the wounded fighter. Gilmore kicked out of the resulting pin, but he was only delaying the inevitable. An 'Ultimate Backbreaker' was enough to see the challenger off, and Gargantuan once again retained his Championship!</div></div></div></div><p><span style="font-family:'Century Gothic';"></span></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div></div></div></div><p><span style="font-family:'Century Gothic';"></span></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;">

The gigantic NOTBPW Canadian Champion Gargantuan stood on the second rope and held his Championship Belt above his head... The cage was lifted so that medical personnel could attend to Angry Gilmore... But 'Mighty' Danny Cavanagh pushed them out of the way... He grabbed Gilmore by the boot, and yanked him out under the ropes!! Gargantuan watched on but didn't intervene as Cavanagh stomped on Gilmore... Cavanagh then turned his attention to Gargantuan, and told him that HE would be coming for 'The Monster' next... For the 'News' I'm just going to comment on Angry Gilmore's performance in the Main Event here... I hired him to be one of my 'top guys' as an ageing roster has seen me forced to make big changes, and may force me to make some more as the game continues... But I didn't notice his lack of 'Star Quality', a trait I need in my National Battles with SWF and USPW... He's also struggled to make a significant impact since I signed him to come and work in his homeland of Canada... A few poor performances against the likes of Steve DeColt, Jack DeColt and Sean Deeley, who he should mix well with, forced me to question my decision, and arguably helped me decide NOT to have him be the man to defeat Gargantuan... His Title shot wouldn't have come this soon if he'd begun better, because I would have built him up to a Title opportunity...</div></div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div></div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;">

However... All of that is to say that he was FANTASTIC in the Main Event here... A 93 rated match is impressive, and I'm more than happy with that... When I saw the rating of the DeColts/Monteros match, I could see them pipping the Main Event to the Match of the Night, but I'm happy to say Gilmore and Gargantuan pulled it out the bag, and it gives me confidence for a future run at the very top for Gilmore... For now though, he'll begin a rivalry with Danny Cavanagh, and see where that goes...</div></div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div></div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;">

</div></div><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><em>These two are great, and they continue to deliver in their matches. I've got big plans for the both of them, and they were an easy choice to get this show off to a great start. The recent talk about adding a new Championship directly affects Edd Stone, as I personally feel he's too over to be Television Champion, and not quite high enough on the card to be NOTBPW Canadian Champion. As for Andrews, 'The Ace' is clearly one of my top babyfaces, and I can see him being Canadian Champion one day.</em></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;">

</div></div><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><em>It's now or never for POISON... He's 40... He lost a ton of momentum and a YEAR of his career by being out injured as I've mentioned before, and everyone surpassed him in terms of popularity. His return saw him literally start at the bottom of the roster in terms of popularity. Before he got injured, he was flying up the card thanks to his undefeated streak. But back then, my low pop guys were way lower than they are now. Wade Orson also begun at the bottom of the card when he came in from the UK. He's done well, and I'm impressed by his performances so far... But POISON moves on to big things now. He seemed to catch the eye of Steve DeColt tonight... Watch this space...</em></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;">

</div></div><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><em>I don't think any of you predicted Dan DaLay would win! He was always second favourite in this one, but he put in a solid performance and I'm still keen on him being in Main Event stories and segments. The Logan/Alex story continued with the post-match fight. Jack DeColt is an angry brawler, and he had no problem shoving Dan DaLay. He takes Alex's side in all of this for a number of reasons. He's always stayed loyal to his Brother, and for now, he will continue to do so... For now...</em></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;">

</div></div><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><em>Shaffer and Seeker... For some reason, made me think of Afa and Sika... There's nothing Wild... Or Samoan... About either of them, but they just needed something to do as a stop gap. Truth is, Trent Shaffer is once again a victim of having low Star Quality. I KEEP getting beaten by both USPW and SWF in the National Battles, due to guys like Shaffer, Ricky DeColt and Edd Stone being in my top five!! I need guys with high Star Quality up there, so I need to bring Shaffer down the card. As for Seeker, he badly needs Jacob Jett back!! The tag team known as World's Most Wanted are former two-time NOTBPW Tag Team Champions, and former Ed Henson Memorial Tag Team Cup winners!! But Seeker on his own doesn't have the same success levels, and don't expect that to change any time soon... </em></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;">

</div></div><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><em>My two fastest rising stars clashed here, in an excellent 2 out of 3 falls match. Their encounter at The Scramble was actually a much better match, but I enjoyed writing this one. The ebb and flow of the multi-fall matches are always fun to write. I enjoyed telling the story building up to this match too. The 'Scramble Match' was an unlimited falls match, where the winner was the LAST man to gain a pinfall or submission. Kind of like the Championship Scramble Match at Wrestlemania 2000 (for the Hardcore Title). In that time-limited match, Sonny won THREE falls to Hernandez's zero!! The final fall was the only one that mattered though! So Hernandez choosing a 2 out of 3 falls match was a bizarre choice. It almost paid off, since he took the lead here. </em></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;">

</div></div><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><em>Star Quality is important to me, and two of these guys have EXCELLENT levels... Gino Montero has 97, which is the highest on my roster, so expect to see a rocket strapped to him. The Monteros are new around here though, so don't expect them to be beating The DeColts on pay-per-view. Gino's freak win over Ricky DeColt on TV last week was a shock to most of you, and it really was a freak win. Ricky was great about it (once I paid him a hefty bonus of course). Gino got a huge popularity boost for the win, and expect to see that continue, sprinkled in with the odd loss as he climbs further and further up the card. Luis Montero Jr. is an interesting case. I considered letting him go, but I now have other plans for him. I recently asked him to bulk up a little in an attempt to raise HIS Star Quality... So we'll see how that goes... </em></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;">

</div></div><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><em>I've said it all about this match already right after I wrote the show (this post is being written at 8:45pm on the 19th of January 2019... The 'News' was written a LONG time ago... Maybe three months?!)… Aaaaanyway. Just to add, two of my top guys but once again, Gilmore's Star Quality is a let down for me, and he can't really carry the company. Unlike Gargantuan. 'The Monster's' Charisma has risen from 78 to 95 in the last twelve months! An incredible rise!! His acting has gone up at a similar speed, and now sits at 75 too. He's developing into a MEGA star!! </em></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;">
