NOTBPW - A Game of Stones... (and DeColts)

<p><strong>'Awesome' Wade Orson</strong> [vs] 'Shooter' Sean Deeley</p><p> </p><p>

<em>This is pretty much a toss up, but I incline for Orson, as I have always been fond of the English wrestlers fighting in North America, they usually do pretty good, and Deeley seems somewhat boring, putting him in a group helps him a lot, but of that group the more likely to suceed and gain more from it are the Ring Generals.</em></p><p> </p><p>

Thrill Seeker [vs]<strong> POISON</strong></p><p> </p><p>

<em>POISON comes from a loss on PPV, and he has been absent for months, probably more than a year before that, he was riding a wave of success but his injury has derailed him completely, he lost all of the momentum he had won, fell back in popularity as all other wrestlers surpassed him, we dont know yet how his injury affected his in ring ability, he might not even be the same wrestler as before, and lastly lost his unbeaten streak, but I still see management willing to back him, so first he needs to begin getting momentum, heat and steam, and demonstrate he still is a good wrestler, and if anyone can put him over is Thrill Seeker, the tag team guy has been walking without an objective without Jett, yes he was in the match for the Television Championship last night, but it seems he is going to take a backseat to other more story driven challengers, so putting over someone who does have a feud, is more likely.</em></p><p> </p><p>

<strong>'The Ace' Aaron Andrews</strong> [vs] 'The Assassin of the Squared Circle' Ernest Youngman</p><p> </p><p>

<em>Youngman has been growing well, but he is too much of a rookie still, in comparison to Andrews, that beats him in expertise, popularity and are pretty matched in ability, meanwhile Andrews need to capitalize on his victory last night and continue building momentum.</em></p><p> </p><p>

'The Man Without Fear' Sonny Wildside [vs] <strong>'The Animal' Edd Stone</strong></p><p> </p><p>

<em>Equally as Youngman, Wildside is still too green too win against a major heel as Edd Stone, and meanwhile Edd Stone could make for the perfect foil to Hernandez.</em></p><p> </p><p>

Who will be the Runner Up in the Tournament?:<strong><span style="text-decoration:underline;">'The Ace' Aaron Andrews</span></strong></p><p> </p><p>

Who will be the eventual Winner of the Tournament?: <span style="text-decoration:underline;"><strong>'The Animal' Edd Stone</strong></span></p><p> </p><p>

PS: How much time was POISON out, and what was his injury?</p>

<p>'Awesome' Wade Orson [vs] <strong>'Shooter' Sean Deeley</strong></p><p>

<em>Deeley may have been just "whelming" so far, but he's still relatively young, and pretty great in the ring. Orson's still getting his feet wet in NA.</em></p><p> </p><p>

Thrill Seeker [vs] <strong>POISON</strong></p><p>

<em>This would be a big win for POISON, but Seeker is running around being a great high flier and gatekeeping until Jett returns.</em></p><p> </p><p>

<strong>'The Ace' Aaron Andrews</strong> [vs] 'The Assassin of the Squared Circle' Ernest Youngman</p><p>

<em>My sleeper pick for match of the night, nevertheless I don't think Youngman has a snowball's chance in hell of winning.</em></p><p> </p><p>

'The Man Without Fear' Sonny Wildside [vs] <strong>'The Animal' Edd Stone</strong></p><p>

ONE NIGHT TOURNAMENT for a shot at the NOTBPW Television Title!!

AUGUST 2017, WEEK 3...

Show Rating: 80

Announce Team:

9eHH4Wa.pnglNhSZHh.jpg

Peter Michaels and Tom Townsend

Just Peter Michaels and Tom Townsend on commentary again tonight, after Ricky Dale Johnson was again beaten up by Edd Stone... This time, Stone had some help in the form of Tim Westybrook, Cameron Vessey and Christian Price... But with a lot to get to tonight, we kicked off with in-ring action... A ROUND ONE Match from tonight's One Night Tournament... Joining Wade Orson and Sean Deeley in the tournament were Thrill Seeker, Aaron Andrews, Sonny Wildside, POISON, Ernest Youngman and the aforementioned Edd Stone... But up first, Orson and Deeley 1 on 1 for the first ever time...

Wade Orson and Sean Deeley have never fought before, as Orson spent the first six and a half years of his career in the United Kingdom. They had a clash of styles throughout, but Sean Deeley's wrestling skills were there for everyone to see. 'The Shooter' got a little bit cocky late on though, and he allowed Orson a little too much time to recover following a German Suplex. Deeley punched Orson in the mouth when he was up, and the Brit landed on his back. But he suddenly kipped up to deliver the 'Bounce Back'!

Winner:
'Awesome' Wade Orson

Rating:
79

Finish:
'Bounce Back' (Kip Up DDT)

</div>

Wade Orson's unstoppable finishing move did the trick yet again... His 'Bounce Back' is a move that is hit out of nowhere, and seems to have no counter to it whatsoever... Arguably, Sean Deeley should have known better than to give the British starlet time to recover in the corner... He should have followed up the German Suplex, but he was too cocky, and now he's OUT of the tournament... Wade Orson moves on, and he'll fight the winner of Thrill Seeker and POISON... If POISON wins, he and Orson will pick up their rivalry where they left off at Summer Smash...

Next up, we took a look at the NOTBPW Canadian Championship picture... 'The Monster' Gargantuan successfully defended his Title at Summer Smash against Steve DeColt in TOTAL WAR, but the question needs to be asked now: Who is next...?! 'Mainstream' James Hernandez, the NOTBPW Television Champion came incredibly close to beating Gargantuan a couple of weeks ago... 'Mighty' Danny Cavanagh has also given 'The Monster' a run for his money recently... But it was Angry Gilmore who called his shot following TOTAL WAR... We learned that NEXT WEEK, the three men will compete in a Triple Threat Match... The winner of that match will be Gargantuan's next challenger!!!

Thrill Seeker and POISON have a lot of history as both opponents, and tag team partners (in my previous NOTBPW/CGC diary). Despite their familiarity, POISON wouldn't allow Seeker to hit ANY of his trademark offence. He wouldn't let the Canadian veteran breathe, especially in the closing stages of the match. As Seeker attempted a high springboard cross body, but POISON was on him before he hit the ropes. POISON locked Seeker in his 'Antidote Web' and he tapped out!

Winner:
POISON

Rating:
76

Finish:
'Antidote Web' (Tazmission)

Another match booked for next week... The NOTBPW Tag Team Titles will be on the line as the Number One Contenders Bad Reputation (Dan DaLay and Derek Frost) will FINALLY get their long awaited Title shot against Primed For Progress (Cameron Vessey and Christian Price)... NOTBPW General Manager Alex DeColt had better hope Bad Rep win the Titles... Because if they don't... If they're stopped from winning by unfair means, or by someone interfering... There's every chance Dan DaLay will reveal Alex's big secret... a story that has been running for a long time...

Much like the opening First Round Match, this was fan favourite against in-ring technician, but Aaron Andrews doesn't lack in the chain wrestling or submission skills. He stood toe-to-toe with Ernest Youngman here, and taught the talented 24 year old a few lessons. Edd Stone made an appearance late on, and the distraction allowed Youngman to slam Andrews ribs first into the ring steps! However in the end, Youngman was put down with the 'Standing Hot Shot' by an injured Andrews!

Winner:
'The Ace' Aaron Andrews

Rating:
79

Finish:
'Standing Hot Shot' (Spanish Fly)

</div>

Aaron Andrews was badly hurt by the altercation caused by the arrival of Edd Stone... 'The Animal' remained at ringside, as HIS First Round Match was on deck next... Andrews was helped to the back by medical personnel, fearing for his chances of going the distance in tonight's One Night Tournament!! 'The Ace' will battle the winner of Sonny Wildside and his rival Edd Stone in the Semi Finals, and that match was on deck next...!!

<div style="background-color:#ffffff;color:darkred;border-style:solid;border-width:3px";">

vn8QJBz.jpg

This match was on it's way to being the pick of the First Round battles. Sonny Wildside and Edd Stone have only ever been in the ring together during battle royales, and so tonight was their first ever 1 on 1 match. 'The Animal' Edd Stone was able to control Wildside for large portions of the match, but it's hard to keep a dynamic performer like him controlled for long! The fight back was on, but Ricky Dale Johnson's music hit when Edd had delivered an illegal low blow behind the referee's back. RDJ sprinted to the ring, and Edd got the heck out of dodge! He hopped the guard rail, and was eventually counted out!

Winner:
'No Fear' Sonny Wildside

Rating:
78

Finish:
Count Out

</div>

Wade Orson's victory over Sean Deeley, and now Sonny Wildside defeating Edd Stone, two huge upsets in Round One, and we now have two mouthwatering Semi Finals... Wade Orson and POISON will renew their feud from Summer Smash... On that night, Orson picked up the win, but that was their only meeting in a singles match... Sonny Wildside and Aaron Andrews will compete in our other Semi Final... They too have never fought 1 on 1 before... But with Andrews' injured ribs, he could well be hampered...

Gino Montero and Luis Montero Jr. had a great showing at this past weekend's Summer Smash Event... but rumours have been swirling ever since that they are DONE in NOTBPW... Was it a one off run that ended because they didn't capture the NOTBPW Tag Team Titles...?! Were they here to help promote their Father's new autobiography, and the promotion he is the Head Booker for: EMLL...?! We're going to find out the answers to all of these questions, and more, next week as Los Monteros will sit down with Timothy Weightman for an EXCLUSIVE interview!!

xiceyGo.jpg

<div style="background-color:#ffffff;color:darkred;border-style:solid;border-width:3px";">

Wade Orson hates POISON, and the veteran multi-coloured haired POISON isn't a massive fan of Orson either. But due to POISON's experience edge, he was able to use Orson's hatred to his advantage. Orson went too far a few times, and was pulled away by the referee, and POISON delivered a thumb to the eye on the third separation. For the finish, partially blinded in one eye, Orson began swinging wildly! He missed three huge right hands, and on the fourth, POISON pulled the Brit in his 'Antidote Web'!

Winner:
POISON

Rating:
74

Finish:
'Antidote Web' (Tazmission)

</div>

xiceyGo.jpg

Hj4B1Jp.jpgykdqdiY.jpgd5B1CG0.jpgYOwAc6Y.jpg

POISON through to the Finals of the One Night Tournament... But next up, the announce team spoke for a while about the DeColt Family... Due to a Family Wedding, NO members of the most powerful family in NOTBPW (Except maybe The Stone Family) were here tonight... Alex DeColt booked a One Night Tournament and has allowed it to play out... Jack DeColt beat up and then beat Logan at Summer Smash this past weekend, but what did he gain from doing it...?! What was the purpose of the match...?! As for Ricky and Steve DeColt, they arguably BOTH lost to Gargantuan inside TOTAL WAR... In what was essentially a handicap match with NO rules, the Brothers came up short... Where do they go from here...?! With none of them here tonight, they will ALL be back on NOTBPW Championship Wrestling next week...

xiceyGo.jpg

<div style="background-color:#ffffff;color:darkred;border-style:solid;border-width:3px";">

BuNf0FN.jpg

Aaron Andrews began and finished this match with his ribs heavily taped. Despite having a distinct disadvantage due to a previous injury, he was still the favourite in there against 'The Man Without Fear' Sonny Wildside. He dominated to begin with, but Wildside was soon in control, following a couple of well placed stiff kicks to the mid-section. The finishing move was the 'Fear Factor' Moonsault Stomp, and that move finished Andrews' ribs off for the night! He couldn't kick out of the resulting pin!

Winner:
'No Fear' Sonny Wildside

Rating:
80

Finish:
'Fear Factor' (Moonsault Stomp)

</div>

xiceyGo.jpg

So it'll be Sonny Wildside versus POISON in tonight's Final... But we saw Edd Stone, Tim Westybrook, Cameron Vessey and Christian Price backstage next... The group of four were talking about WHY they teamed up back at Summer Smash... Edd Stone lead everything, and the other three just nodded along with what he was saying... Edd spoke about 'so called veterans' like Ricky Dale Johnson, and their need to just retire... Edd has already gotten rid of guys like Duane Stone... Sean McFly... Dan Stone Jr, and Jeremy Stone... and he could do that on his own... But now, there's a new problem...

Edd Stone:
“To Aaron Andrews... I say one simple word... “SORRY”... I'm sorry, that you got in the way of my quest to take out Ricky Dale Johnson... I'm sorry, that you ended up getting hurt tonight, as a DIRECT result of your friendship with him... And I'm sorry, that you're just in the way... But RDJ has gone too far this time... So I'm begging you... RDJ... Pick a team of four... Bring some veterans... bring some legends... and at The Scramble, we will destroy you all!!”

xiceyGo.jpg

<div style="background-color:#ffffff;color:darkred;border-style:solid;border-width:3px";">

After a long night for both men, POISON came in to this match with a slight advantage due to his Semi Final Match being first, giving him a longer rest in between Semi Final and Final. Sonny Wildside therefore, was the underdog for the THIRD match in a row! He won the first two, so anything can happen in NOTBPW. POISON was on the offence right from the beginning, using throws and slams to keep the slightly smaller Wildside on the back foot. But just like earlier in the show, Wildside didn't spend long with his back against the wall. Wildside delivered two big clotheslines, and then as POISON headed to the outside of the ring, he hit a suicide dive to the rainbow haired veteran! He threw POISON back into the ring, but then walked onto a DDT. A near fall followed, and then POISON decided to attempt a superplex. Wildside somehow fought POISON off of him, turned around, and then delivered the amazing 'Fear Factor' Moonsault Stomp!!

Winner:
'No Fear' Sonny Wildside

Rating:
77

Finish:
'Fear Factor' (Moonsault Stomp)

</div>

IHLlYd3.jpg

The underdog in every match he fought in tonight, Sonny Wildside showed absolutely NO FEAR in all of them!! He also won them all, and ended up becoming the winner of tonight's One Night Tournament!! His victories over Edd Stone, Aaron Andrews and now POISON have earned him a NOTBPW Television Title shot against 'Mainstream' James Hernandez... No doubt Wildside will be the underdog in that match too... But he WILL get to name the time and the place of the match!! He'll have to wait until after next week's show though... Because Hernandez might find himself in a NOTBPW Canadian Title Match come 'The Scramble'... He'll have to beat Angry Gilmore and Danny Cavanagh in a Triple Threat Match, but with his win/loss record, Hernandez may well be the favourite!!

PGHW and WLW have come to terms on a 'non-aggression pact' which will allow the two Japanese companies to stay away from the other's talent while under contract!! Potentially huge news for the Japanese wrestling scene... Speaking of PGHW, two of their top stars suffered injuries during last night's tapings: Gonnohyoe Kada picked up a nasty cracked sternum, while Kazushige Matsuki will take time off in order to heal a dislocated shoulder... Neither man are expected to be out long, but it's still a big blow to the company... After I'd written all this down, the 6th best wrestler in the world of last year: Kozue Kawashima injured his back... The decorated PGHW Main Event star will miss almost three months of action!!

The Supreme Wrestling Federation have finally pulled the trigger on promoting Scythe from their developmental company... The 25 year old weighs over 325lbs, and stands 6'10... Rhode Island Pro Wrestling will miss him as he debuts for the SWF... But thoughts are he'll go very, very far with the company...

<p>Woof, this is a stacked card. Let's see how we do here:</p><p> </p><p>

NOTBPW Tag Team Title Match: </p><p>

Bad Reputation (Dan DaLay & Derek Frost) [vs] <strong>Primed For Progress (Cameron Vessey & Christian Price) ©</strong></p><p>

<em>Don't see our new stable team losing here, and this pours some gas on the fire and sets up the "secret" reveal later in the night...</em></p><p> </p><p>

'All Business' Harrison Hash [vs] <strong>'Dark Watch' Aldous Blackfriar w/ Mutant</strong></p><p>

<em>Don't see a Hash win accomplishing much, Aldous and Mutant have been on the slow burn build for a while and that continues.</em></p><p> </p><p>

'High Energy' Thrill Seeker [vs] <strong>'Wild Man' Jack DeColt</strong></p><p>

<em>Poor Seeker is stuck as a talented gatekeeper role after Jett was injured, but he does the job better than most here as he makes Jack look like a million bucks.</em></p><p> </p><p>

<strong>'The Hillbilly Heartthrob' Solomon Gold w/ The Natural</strong> [vs] 'The Assassin' Ernest Youngman w/ The Shooters</p><p>

<em>The Shooters have been LOSERS. They lose EVERYTHING that matters, and the only merit they had (being the only heel stable) they are already demoted to second best heel stable with Stone/P4P/Westybrook. I see them losing more and more and eventual cracks to start forming, and I also have a lot of hope for Gold/Natural to be the next tag title challengers.</em></p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Steve DeColt & Ricky DeColt</strong> [vs] Logan & Robin DaLay</p><p>

<em>I expect this match to be the back drop to the "secret" reveal that is set to happen shortly after.</em></p><p> </p><p>

Winner Receives a NOTBPW Canadian Title Match: </p><p>

Angry Gilmore [vs] <strong>'Mainstream' James Hernandez</strong> [vs] 'Mighty' Danny Cavanagh</p><p>

<em>F. I have no clue who to go with here. I can see Hernandez winning and getting brutalized by Gargantuan, which costs him his match with POISON. My endgame logic here is that I have no clue what Angry Gilmore would be doing if he doesn't win this.</em></p><p><em> </em></p><p><em>

You know what? I'm going back on all that logic, and going to change my mind last second. I think Hernandez wins this.</em></p>

<em>This is interesting as it can go either way, but it is more fun for the secret to be revealed so I am going for that. </em></p><p> </p><p>

'All Business' Harrison Hash [vs]<strong> 'Dark Watch' Aldous Blackfriar w/ Mutant</strong></p><p>

'The Hillbilly Heartthrob' Solomon Gold w/ The Natural [vs] <strong>'The Assassin' Ernest Youngman w/ The Shooters</strong></p><p>

NOTBPW Tag Team Title Match: </p><p>

<strong>Bad Reputation (Dan DaLay & Derek Frost)</strong> [vs] Primed For Progress (Cameron Vessey & Christian Price) ©</p><p>

<em>With P4P getting into the feud as a stable, and Bad Reputation being able to be a transition champ, I think they get the gold.</em></p><p> </p><p>

'All Business' Harrison Hash [vs] <strong>'Dark Watch' Aldous Blackfriar w/ Mutant</strong></p><p>

<em>Mayhem is kind of floating around, but I think that changes as Bad Reputation takes the gold (and becomes target #1 for Blackfriar and Mutant).</em></p><p> </p><p>

'High Energy' Thrill Seeker [vs] <strong>'Wild Man' Jack DeColt</strong></p><p>

<em>After giving POISON the pop in the tournament, Seeker gets to do the duty here, too. Seeker is in limbo...</em></p><p> </p><p>

'The Hillbilly Heartthrob' Solomon Gold w/ The Natural [vs] <strong>'The Assassin' Ernest Youngman w/ The Shooters</strong></p><p>

<em>I like Youngman. I like him to ultimately take out Deeley when they inevitably split. So I'll go with him getting a win here.</em></p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Steve DeColt & Ricky DeColt</strong> [vs] Logan & Robin DaLay</p><p>

<em>Ouch.</em></p><p> </p><p>

Winner Receives a NOTBPW Canadian Title Match: </p><p>

Angry Gilmore [vs] 'Mainstream' James Hernandez [vs] <strong>'Mighty' Danny Cavanagh</strong></p><p>

<em>Going out on a bit of a limb here. The logic to Cavanagh is actually backwards, since I think Gilmore gets more buildup and Hernandez isn't ready to clash as he needs to find a suitable taker for the TV title. Gargantuan and Cavanagh are both floating around a bit, but this gives them something to do for the PPV.</em></p>

<p>NOTBPW Tag Team Title Match: </p><p>

Bad Reputation (Dan DaLay & Derek Frost) [vs] <strong>Primed For Progress (Cameron Vessey & Christian Price) ©</strong></p><p> </p><p>

<em>The tag team division has suffered too many changes and obstacles recently, the champions are one of few really established title contenders before the injuries, what gives them a little bit more of credibility, also they havent defended the titles that much, losing theem so soon could really slow down their momentum, at the same time it makes the story more interesting if Dalay and Frost dont win</em></p><p> </p><p>

'All Business' Harrison Hash [vs] <strong>'Dark Watch' Aldous Blackfriar w/ Mutant</strong></p><p><strong>

</strong></p><p> </p><p>

<em>Hash is a veteran, who hast had a lot of screen time, I would think he is in time decline, so I see him being pushed as a gatekeeper to give what little he have of popularity and teach the basics to the wrestlers as he has always been a good technical wrestler.</em></p><p> </p><p>

'High Energy' Thrill Seeker [vs] <strong>'Wild Man' Jack DeColt</strong></p><p> </p><p>

<em>Thrill Seeker is still working without a direction, and now he is facing Jack DeColt, and usually The DeColts dont lose on TV as they are your biggest stars.</em></p><p> </p><p>

'The Hillbilly Heartthrob' Solomon Gold w/ The Natural [vs] <strong>'The Assassin' Ernest Youngman w/ The Shooters</strong></p><p> </p><p>

<em>This is more a personal thing, I have always believed that the NOTBPW rookies are a little bit bland, I cant never get behind them, I always see them as destined to just job, and although I dont find him interesting, Youngman has something they dont have, a little bit of personality and a lot of talent, also the Shooters have been losing all recently they need to get a win back.</em></p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Steve DeColt & Ricky DeColt</strong> [vs] Logan & Robin DaLay</p><p> </p><p>

<em>Story driven match, I think I know what is happening, but i feel uneasy, because everything seems too straightforward, Im sure you will throw us a curve ball, but in wrestling terms two rookies against the 2 biggest babyface stars of the company, this will only go one way, The DeColts dont lose on TV.</em></p><p> </p><p>

Winner Receives a NOTBPW Canadian Title Match: </p><p>

<strong>Angry Gilmore</strong> [vs] 'Mainstream' James Hernandez [vs] 'Mighty' Danny Cavanagh</p><p> </p><p>

<em>Gilmore will win, pinning Danny, so technically James wasnt defeated, Im pretty sure James will challenge Gargantuan or the Champion in the future, but I dont think anything will happen while he holds the television championship, that sooner rather than later he will have to lose, is almost becoming an obstacle for his success, it worked wonders for him, but he needs to drop it to someone who can get more out of it than him, while is still credible for him to lose it, soon losing it against someont way down the card could hurt him, badly.</em></p>

AUGUST 2017, WEEK 4…

Show Rating: 85

Announce Team:

9eHH4Wa.pnglNhSZHh.jpgngmZlbk.png

Peter Michaels, Tom Townsend and 'RDJ' Ricky Dale Johnson

Kicking us off tonight, was a NOTBPW Tag Team Title Match... The challengers: Bad Reputation (Dan DaLay and Derek Frost) earned this opportunity a long time ago in truth, and they were here to FINALLY capture the Gold!! Their opponents: Primed For Progress (Cameron Vessey and Christian Price) are two-time Champions, and tonight, they were accompanied to the ring by their new friends 'The Animal' Edd Stone and 'Iron Man' Tim Westybrook...

Bad Reputation
(Dan DaLay & Derek Frost) [vs]
Primed For Progress
(Cameron Vessey & Christian Price) w/ Edd Stone & Tim Westybrook

Bad Reputation are a big, bad, tag team. But this tag team match resembled more of a 3 on 2 handicap match. Edd Stone kept himself to himself, and occasionally attempted to wind Ricky Dale Johnson up on commentary. But Tim Westybrook was a constant thorn in Dan DaLay and Derek Frost's side!! However, RDJ grew weary of Edd's actions, and he smashed a steel chair off the back of 'The Animal's' head! He delivered a chair shot to Tim Westybrook too!! The distraction drew the attention of Cameron Vessey, and he turned his back on the in-ring action. Dan DaLay delivered a 'DaLay Down' Headbutt to Christian Price, and fell into the cover to score the win, and capture the Gold!!

Winners:
and NEW NOTBPW Tag Team Champions: Bad Reputation (Dan DaLay & Derek Frost)

Rating:
85 (Match of the Night)

Finish:
'DaLay Down' Headbutt

With a bit of back up from Bad Reputation, Ricky Dale Johnson grabbed a microphone and spoke directly to Cameron Vessey, as well as the fallen Edd Stone, Tim Westybrook and Christian Price... He told the group that he has made some calls, and has an announcement to make to them... He told them he could now officially announce the first legend he had chosen to join his team at The Scramble...

Ricky Dale Johnson:
“I have a man who actually called ME... And Cameron... You know this man VERY well... He actually asked me to keep an eye on you when I came here... and that man's name... is BRYAN... VESSEY!!!”

Cameron Vessey's Uncle Bryan Vessey!!! The well-decorated former Champion in TCW, TRAINED Cameron Vessey when he was young, and helped him to become a well-decorated former Champion in NOTBPW himself... Ricky Dale Johnson has named Bryan Vessey for his team of Legends to take on Edd Stone, Tim Westybrook and Primed For Progress (Cameron Vessey and Christian Price) at The Scramble... He has two spaces left, and we'll find out the two names in the coming weeks...

NOTBPW General Manager Alex DeColt was backstage next, when there was a knock on his door... In walked ALL THREE of Alex's Brothers: Jack DeColt, Ricky DeColt and Steve DeColt... The three DeColt Brothers had differing fortunes at Summer Smash, and Alex wasted little time in getting to the bottom of why he'd called all three into his office... 'The Mind' was furious with Steve DeColt for letting Ricky DeColt be one of his 'weapons' in TOTAL WAR, and then laughed that it backfired on him...

Alex DeColt:
“You tried to CHEAT... You tried to get one over on 'The Monster' (Gargantuan)... but justice was served, and BOTH of you lost... So now... You're going back to the very BOTTOM of NOTBPW... Tonight, you'll fight the lowest of the low in a tag team match... It'll be Steve and Ricky DeColt... versus Robin DaLay, and his little buddy: Logan!!”

Alex DeColt then turned his attention to his other brother 'Wild Man' Jack DeColt... who had a great showing against the aforementioned Logan at Summer Smash... Jack beat Logan down and dominated him, and Alex said he was proud of his 'Wild' Brother... For Jack's reward, he'll get a match against 'High Energy' Thrill Seeker later tonight... The winner of that match will earn some much needed momentum in the race to be the next challenger for the undefeated Gargantuan's NOTBPW Canadian Championship...

'All Business'
Harrison Hash
[vs] 'Dark Watch'
Aldous Blackfriar
w/ Mutant

A brutal match here, in which Harrison Hash attempted to torture Aldous Blackfriar and pick up an early submission victory. But it was the involvement at ringside of 'The King of the Wasteland' Mutant that made the difference. A clothesline behind the referee's back nearly took Hash's head off on the outside of the ring, and from then on, Aldous was in control. He won the match with a 'Super Kick'

Winner:

Aldous Blackfriar ended the match with his arms outstretched... He essentially asked the fans if they were suitably entertained as Mutant climbed slowly into the ring behind him... 'Mayhem' have been a great tag team so far in their young careers, but are they ready to take the next step... Aldous asked for a microphone and told the fans that they are NOT finished with 'Bad Reputation'... He said that the new NOTBPW Tag Team Champions had better watch their backs, because Mayhem will be the NEXT Tag Team Champions!!

Speaking of tag teams, we saw a pre-taped interview with Gino Montero and Luis Montero Jr: 'Los Monteros', who were speaking with Tim Weightman... Lost Monteros spoke about their loss to the now former NOTBPW Tag Team Champions: Cameron Vessey and Christian Price, and how disappointing the loss was... They'd put in work as a tag team for almost ten years, working towards an opportunity like that, in a company like NOTBPW... But they came up short... Ever since the defeat, rumours have been swirling that the Montero Brothers were DONE, and that this was a one off short run with the company... But Gino wanted to set the record straight...

Gino Montero:
“We are not here, ta help our Father (Luis Montero Snr.) sell more of his books... We are here... ta become tha BEST tag team in tha history... of NOTBPW... We've dominated South of tha Border... and now we dominate North of tha Border as well... We are here to STAY!!”

Back live, we headed to the locker room, where Sean Deeley was rallying his troops: Ernest Youngman, Dean Waldorf and Marv Statler... 'The Shooter' told his group that they have been AWFUL lately in the ring... Letting him down at every turn... and if things don't change soon, HE might have to make some personnel changes himself...!! Deeley said that tonight, Ernest Youngman will go 1 on 1 against Solomon Gold... He then confirmed that he'd be seeing Alex DeColt later tonight to talk about an opportunity for Waldorf and Statler: 'The Ring Generals'!!

Thrill Seeker
[vs] 'Wild Man'
Jack DeColt

Thrill Seeker and Jack DeColt put on a very good match here, but it was a little one-sided in truth. The 'Wild' DeColt Brother has been in good form of late, and he continued that here with a dominant display. Seeker had some nice moments, and hit a brilliant dropkick in the corner that almost knocked Jack DeColt out of the ring. But Jack's 'End Of Days' finisher was all it took to put Seeker away to end a fun to watch contest.

Winner:
'Wild Man' Jack DeColt

Rating:
80

Finish:
'End Of Days'

Next up, we learned that next week we're going to see a First Time Ever contest between Aaron Andrews and NOTBPW Canadian Champion Gargantuan!! As the challengers stack up for 'The Monster', a victory for Andrews could lead him to join the long list of men lining up to get a shot... However, standing in Andrews' way is an undefeated BEAST, who has so far been a dominant Champion... This isn't just a first 1 on 1 match between the two... It's the first time they've EVER been in the same match!! Can 'The Ace' be the man to beat 'The Monster'...?!

Also in action next week, 'Shooter' Sean Deeley will compete 1 on 1 with a currently unknown opponent... His friends The Ring Generals (Dean Waldorf and Marv Statler) will also be in the ring next week... Again, their opponents are being kept as a surprise for now... Their partner Ernest Youngman will be in action when NOTBPW Championship Wrestling returns... taking on plucky youngster Solomon Gold, who will be accompanied to the ring by HIS tag team partner The Natural...

Solomon Gold
w/ The Natural [vs]
Ernest Youngman
w/ Sean Deeley and The Ring Generals

Interesting encounter between two young talents here. Ernest Youngman is only 24, but he has SIX years of experience on Solomon Gold. 'The Hillbilly Heartthrob' has only been wrestling with NOTBPW for four months after completing his training, and he was outclassed by Youngman in this match. The Natural did all he could at ringside, but his young friend was soundly beaten when he walked onto 'The Hit' and was pinned.

Winner:
Ernest Youngman w/ Sean Deeley and The Ring Generals

Rating:
69

Finish:
'The Hit' (Pounce)

Backstage, Katie Cameron was interviewing young British wrestling star 'Awesome' Wade Orson... Orson was talking about his performance in the One Night Tournament last week, in which after defeating Sean Deeley in Round One, he came up short in Round Two against his rival: POISON... The win over Deeley was a shock, but the loss to POISON may well have been a shock too... Especially after Orson defeated POISON at Summer Smash... But Wade Orson had a theory on the eventual Finals of the Tournament... Where POISON came up short to Sonny Wildside...

Wade Orson:
“If I had gotten past POISON, I think I could have beaten Sonny Wildside on that night... and then it would be ME challenging James Hernandez for the Television Title... But at The Scramble... I want ONE MORE MATCH against POISON... He tried to take me out, and I want to take HIM out...!!”

Steve DeColt & Ricky DeColt
[vs]
Robin DaLay & Logan

Steve and Ricky DeColt are awesome singles wrestlers, but together they create an intense opposition for whoever is in the ring against them. They don't seem to let up at all, and they threw Robin DaLay and Logan around the ring for almost the entire match here. It was a short match, and a dominant victory following a 'DeColt .45' from Ricky DeColt to Logan!

Winners:
Steve DeColt & Ricky DeColt

Rating:
79

Finish:
'DeColt .45' (Super Kick)

Following a successful performance in the One Night Tournament last week, Sonny Wildside will now face James Hernandez for the NOTBPW Television Championship... 'The Man Without Fear' won three matches in one night last week, and will now challenge the man in incredible form for the Title, whenever he wants... Depending on the result of tonight's Main Event, that match may happen at The Scramble... Next week, Wildside will be HERE to name the time and the place for the Title shot, and should Hernandez win tonight, he
could
choose next week for his shot...!!

Winner Receives a NOTBPW Canadian Title Match:

Angry Gilmore
[vs] 'Mighty'
Danny Cavanagh
[vs] 'Mainstream'
James Hernandez

After a double suplex on the ramp from Angry Gilmore and James Hernandez, Danny Cavanagh spent most of the first few minutes on the outside of the ring, lying on his back and regaining his composure. But he knew that the first man to gain pinfall or submission would win the match, so he couldn't stay out of the ring for long! He jumped Hernandez from behind, right when the NOTBPW Television Champion was beginning to roll and beginning to look like he would put Gilmore away! From then on, big Cav was in control, throwing his two opponents around the ring, and using his superior strength to his advantage. His performance was great, but he lost focus late on, such is his desire to be the man to stop Gargantuan. He took his eye off Angry Gilmore, and he soon found himself locked in the brutal 'Anger Management' Arm Bar, and he had no choice but to tap!

Winner:
Angry Gilmore

Rating:
80

Finish:
'Anger Management' (Arm Bar)

So Angry Gilmore will be the man to go on to face Gargantuan at The Scramble... The NOTBPW Canadian Title will be on the line... Just six weeks after Gilmore's debut with the Canadian promotion... He won't have faced a man like Gargantuan before though... 'The Monster' is HUGE, and freakishly strong, and it's arguable whether Gilmore will be able to lock in his 'Anger Management' Arm Bar finisher... If he can't, the newcomer will have to think of something else he can do to stop his large opponent and capture the extremely coveted Championship for the first ever time...

PGHW have risen to National Size!! The company are hot on the trail of NOTBPW, in the race for 6th biggest company!! The current Top Five is: USPW... 21CW... SWF... SOTBPW... TCW..., in that order!! It helps PGHW that PRIDE Koiso defeated Yoshimi Mushashibo in a recent Main Event 100 Rated Match!!

So... They just won the NOTBPW Tag Team Titles... and Derek Frost is now injured... He's only out for 21 days, and can still wrestle in that time with a 'Bruised Eye Socket'... So I'm just going to leave it, and pretend it didn't happen... My tag team division is CURSED!!

BHOTWG have a group of American Wrestlers under contract, who I'm saying have teamed up to form their own version of 'The Bullet Club'... Helikaon (KC Glenn) is the leader of the group, and he has enlisted the help of Big Bruiser Findlay (O'Farraday), Zero (Simon Flemmingway), Jimmy Cox, The Keith Twins (Greg Gauge & Matthew Keith) and Rhino Umaga, the cousin of current NOTBPW star Akima Brave... KC Glenn's stats are ridiculous by the way... If he becomes available, I will be signing him straight away!! It would be 'Too Sweet' to have him on my roster...
