<p>Pre-Show 6-Man Tag Team Match: </p><p>

<strong>Sonny Wildside, Solomon Gold, & The Natural</strong> [vs] Dean Waldorf, Marv Statler & Ernest Youngman</p><p>

Comments: <em>With Ring Generals already established, I think this is a win for the new face contingent to help with that tag team division.</em></p><p> </p><p>

Grudge Match: </p><p>

<strong>'The Ace' Aaron Andrews</strong> [vs] 'Shooter' Sean Deeley</p><p>

Comments: <em>I am hesitant to go Andrews since he already got a big win, but I think he has the chance to be HUGE for the promotion. Deeley has his place with his crew, so there isn't a big letdown here for him.</em></p><p> </p><p>

'Open Challenge' Match: </p><p>

<strong>????</strong> [vs] 'The Iron Man' Tim Westybrook</p><p>

Comments: <em>I feel it is a big return here, so whoever it is should get the win.</em></p><p> </p><p>

Tag Team Match for the Vacant NOTBPW Tag Team Titles: </p><p>

Bad Reputation (Derek Frost & Dan DaLay) [vs] <strong>Cameron Vessey & Christian Price</strong></p><p>

NOTBPW Television Title Match: </p><p>

<strong>'Mainstream' James Hernandez ©</strong> [vs] 'Mighty' Danny Cavanagh</p><p>

Comments: <em>Hernandez is skyrocketing up the card right now. Not sure he can continue with a midcard title, but I won't pick against him until he loses.</em></p><p> </p><p>

Pre-Show 6-Man Tag Team Match:

Sonny Wildside, Solomon Gold, & The Natural [vs] Dean Waldorf, Marv Statler & Ernest Youngman

Comments: The new Blondes get their footing under them and step in as the first challengers for Price and Vessey.

Grudge Match:

'The Ace' Aaron Andrews [vs] 'Shooter' Sean Deeley

Comments: Tough one. When you had Andrews debut, you didn't bring him in as a "big name", and he has had to prove himself from day one. Him winning here just cements him as a "tier above" Deeley, while Deeley winning gives Andrews something to chase after and can elevate both men, who are likely your future at the top.

'Open Challenge' Match:

???? [vs] 'The Iron Man' Tim Westybrook

Comments: I said it before, but based on how he's been booked I'm frankly shocked Westybrook is as high up the card as he is. From the shows you've posted, I view him as a Big Show/Kane level gatekeeper, and I think he does the job to a returning Poison as a few others are mentioning.

Tag Team Match for the Vacant NOTBPW Tag Team Titles:

Bad Reputation (Derek Frost & Dan DaLay) [vs] Cameron Vessey & Christian Price

Comments: Vessey and Price have seemed poised for a title run for a while now, and they are the team with their legs under them the most. They take the belts here.

NOTBPW Television Title Match:

'Mainstream' James Hernandez © [vs] 'Mighty' Danny Cavanagh

Comments: "The Mainstream Rule" states that James Hernandez will win every match he is booked in, this isn't changing tonight.

Sean McFly's Final Battle after Eighteen Years: A Street Fight:

'The Best in the World' Sean McFly [vs] 'The Animal' Edd Stone

Comments: While sending McFly out with a win would be nice, the wrestling business isn't nice. Stone beats McFly bloody and cements himself as public enemy #1.

Triple Threat Match for the NOTBPW Canadian Title:

'The Outsider' Steve DeColt [vs] 'Wild Man' Jack DeColt [vs] 'The Monster' Gargantuan ©

Comments: Can't see a scenario where Gargantuan drops his title on his first defense to one of the men he manhandled to win it.

Bonus Questions:

1). How many Titles will change hands (Not including Tag Team Titles)...?: 0

2). Which Match will be Match of the Night...?: Andrews/Deeley

3). What will the Overall Show Rating be...?: 91

4). Who will replace Bad Reputation in the Tag Team Title Match...?: Robin DaLay and Derek Frost

5). Who will answer Tim Westybrook's 'Open Challenge'...?: Poison

<p>Pre-Show 6-Man Tag Team Match: </p><p>

<strong>Sonny Wildside, Solomon Gold, & The Natural</strong> [vs] Dean Waldorf, Marv Statler & Ernest Youngman</p><p>

Comments: The Blondes get a win to establish them and build momentum right from the off.</p><p> </p><p>

Grudge Match: </p><p>

<strong>'The Ace' Aaron Andrews</strong> [vs] 'Shooter' Sean Deeley</p><p>

Comments: I can see this going either way, but I think Ace needs to build up a head of steam since he's clearly got a whole ton of upside for you.</p><p> </p><p>

'Open Challenge' Match: </p><p>

<strong>????</strong> [vs] 'The Iron Man' Tim Westybrook</p><p>

Comments: If this is Ricky like I think it is, he gets the win to build up to an eventual match against Gargantuan.</p><p> </p><p>

Tag Team Match for the Vacant NOTBPW Tag Team Titles: </p><p>

Bad Reputation (Derek Frost & Dan DaLay) [vs] <strong>Cameron Vessey & Christian Price</strong></p><p>

Comments: Vessey & Price seemed poised to win this one anyway, but without DaLay I really don't see this going the other way.</p><p> </p><p>

NOTBPW Television Title Match: </p><p>

<strong>'Mainstream' James Hernandez</strong> © [vs] 'Mighty' Danny Cavanagh</p><p>

Comments: I don't know how long it'll be until Hernandez is just too big to hold a mid card title, but I'm not betting against him until he actually loses.</p><p> </p><p>

Sean McFly's Final Battle after Eighteen Years: A Street Fight: </p><p>

'The Best in the World' Sean McFly [vs] <strong>'The Animal' Edd Stone</strong></p><p>

Comments: It'd be nice to send McFly out with a win, but when it comes to booking you don't have room to be nice. Edd gets the rub.</p><p> </p><p>

Triple Threat Match for the NOTBPW Canadian Title: </p><p>

'The Outsider' Steve DeColt [vs] 'Wild Man' Jack DeColt [vs] <strong>'The Monster' Gargantuan</strong> ©</p><p>

'Jeopardy'... the pay-per-view formerly known as 'Jeopardy In June', was moved back to July in 2017 for NOTBPW's new look like up of events for the year... and tonight we have a packed show ahead of us... 'The Monster' Gargantuan will defend his NOTBPW Canadian Title, and his undefeated streak, in a Triple Threat Match against two legendary DeColt competitors: Steve DeColt and Jack DeColt!! If anyone can take 'The Monster' down, it's the two brothers... But are they on the same page...?! They don't exactly have a great recent history as friends... We will also see the 'Best in the World' Sean McFly wrestle his final match in NOTBPW... But before we get to those two huge Main Events, we had a packed under card... Including the opening six-man tag team match!!</div></div></div></div><p><span style="font-family:'Century Gothic';"></span></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div></div></div></div><p><span style="font-family:'Century Gothic';"></span></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;">

</div></div></div></div><p></p><p><span style="font-family:'Century Gothic';"></span></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;">

<div style="background-color:#ffffff;color:darkred;border-style:solid;border-width:3px";"></div></div></div><div style="text-align:center;"><p><span style="font-family:'Century Gothic';"></span></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;">

These six talented competitors had a back and forth battle here, with lots of near falls for both teams. The Ring Generals (Dean Waldorf and Marv Statler) used quick tags to keep a man fresh, while using Ernest Youngman as the powerhouse to keep their selected opponent in their corner. Their selected opponent was the least experienced of the three: Solomon Gold. The new tag team partner of The Natural was in trouble for a while, Youngman, Waldorf and Statler almost pulling some of his limbs from their sockets! He was finally able to tag in the veteran The Natural though, and then Sonny Wildside was also brought in by his teammate! Wildside was on fire tonight, and he kicked lumps out of all three of his opponents. In the end, The Natural sent Statler and Waldorf over the top rope. Youngman threw Natural into the ring post. And then it was Wildside's turn to dominate. He super kicked Youngman under the chin and stunned him, before heading to the top rope to hit his brilliant 'Fear Factor' finisher!</div></div></div></div><p><span style="font-family:'Century Gothic';"></span></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div></div></div></div><p><span style="font-family:'Century Gothic';"></span></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;">

Aaron Andrews has had mixed success levels in his short NOTBPW career; particularly in the 'big' matches, he's struggled to string victories together. Tonight he was up against a vicious fighter in 'Shooter' Sean Deeley, who has made life very difficult for all of his opponents in 2017. It could be argued that he has </div></div></div></div><span style="font-family:'Century Gothic';"></span><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><em>also</em></div></div></div></div><span style="font-family:'Century Gothic';"></span><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"> struggled to pick up wins in big matches. This one was as even as it could be in terms of nearfalls, but Deeley had the lions share of the offence for most of the match. Our next match was the 'Open Challenge Match'... The challenge was set by 'The Iron Man' Tim Westybrook, who headed to the ring first, waiting for his mystery opponent to be revealed... Rumours have been swirling all week about who might accept the challenge... The front runners were 'Poison' the man formerly known as Joey Poison, who will make his long-awaited return to action after a serious injury very soon... The two recently advertised Mexican Megastars, who will also debut with NOTBPW soon... And Wade Orson... The young Brit had a great victory over Lord James King on Championship Wrestling this week...</div></div></div></div><p><span style="font-family:'Century Gothic';"></span></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div></div></div></div><p><span style="font-family:'Century Gothic';"></span></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;">

But nobody could have predicted the man that DID come out!!! Former two-time NOTBPW Tag Team Champion, and a former Ed Henson Memorial Tag Team Cup Winner... Everyone thought he'd taken some time off when his tag team partner got hurt, but THRILL SEEKER only took one month off TV following Jacob Jett's career threatening injury!! Tonight, he was ready to make a huge impact!!</div></div></div></div><p><span style="font-family:'Century Gothic';"></span></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div></div></div></div><p><span style="font-family:'Century Gothic';"></span></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;">

Thrill Seeker was very impressive tonight, despite being up against a man that outweighs him by 80lbs! Tim Westybrook's reach advantage was also key in the opening stages, as numerous lock-ups ended with the big man in control, and fist fights also weren't productive for Thrill Seeker. His only choice was to stick and move, and he began delivering low kicks to Westybrook's hamstrings. Westybrook didn't know what to do to handle the stinging strikes. He could barely stand up after Seeker got to double figures, but he was still able to deliver a brutal lariat! Seeker did a backflip and landed on his front, but both men fell to the floor. From then on, it was a close match. Both men hit offence, and were able to create chances to win the match, but Seeker had the wind knocked out of him by another lariat, and then unfortunately walked onto a 'TNT Whirlwind' and was pinned. Tim Westybrook knew he'd been in a fight though!</div></div></div></div><p><span style="font-family:'Century Gothic';"></span></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div></div></div></div><p><span style="font-family:'Century Gothic';"></span></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;">

In the absence of Dan DaLay... his tag team partner Derek Frost and his son Robin DaLay headed to the ring together... The veteran Frost grabbed a microphone, and told the fans that with DaLay's injury, the tag team Bad Reputation were OUT of the Tag Team Title Match against Cameron Vessey and Christian Price... But... Frost HAD lined up a replacement team... It'll be Robin DaLay, teaming up with an old friend from Developmental, known simply as 'Logan'...!!</div></div></div></div><p><span style="font-family:'Century Gothic';"></span></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div></div></div></div><p><span style="font-family:'Century Gothic';"></span></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;">

Not much is known about the 'Identity' of the 'Intrepid' youngster, who strolled to the ring with a big grin on his face... He climbed in and shook Derek Frost's hand... before embracing Robin DaLay as if they were brothers!! The two youngsters (DaLay is only 20 and Logan is 24) then got ready for the biggest match of BOTH of their careers... The NOTBPW Tag Team Titles are one of the most prestigious tag team championships in the world currently... Standing in their way tonight, were the former Champions: Cameron Vessey and Christian Price...</div></div></div></div><p><span style="font-family:'Century Gothic';"></span></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div></div></div></div><p><span style="font-family:'Century Gothic';"></span></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;">

Robin DaLay and his tag team partner Logan were a threat tonight. The two youngsters gave a good showing of themselves against the very experienced Cameron Vessey and Christian Price. DaLay lived up to his surname tonight, using his power and explosiveness to keep Vessey and Price at bay. Cameron Vessey knows a thing or two about being a second generation star though, and he used dastardly, underhanded tactics to gain an unfair advantage over DaLay! From then on, Vessey and Price dominated the match, and kept DaLay in their corner. Logan was desperate to get in the ring, and he eventually got his chance. He exploded into life and changed the momentum of the match! It didn't take long for him to run out of steam though, and Vessey and Price took control again, 2 on 1! Robin DaLay was absolutely no help, and neither was the 'cheerleader' Derek Frost, as he was jumped out of nowhere!!! Mutant and Aldous Blackfriar arrived on the scene, and Frost was taken out!!! Logan then walked onto a 'Stud Stopper' Stunner from Christian Price and was pinned!</div></div></div></div><p><span style="font-family:'Century Gothic';"></span></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div></div></div></div><p><span style="font-family:'Century Gothic';"></span></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;">

Robin DaLay, Logan and Derek Frost were easy pickings for Aldous Blackfriar and his 'muscle' Mutant... Cameron Vessey and Christian Price celebrated on the ramp, with Vessey sat down, his leg troubling him somewhat... Blackfriar and Mutant had already double teamed and taken out Frost, and then turned their attention to Robin DaLay... They slammed the youngster into the ring steps, before climbing slowly into the ring and circling the newcomer Logan... Aldous locked Logan in his 'Gloomweaver Clutch' (head squeeze) and squeezed the energy out of Logan... They left him lifeless in the ring, before walking off and stepping over Derek Frost's lifeless body too!!</div></div></div></div><p><span style="font-family:'Century Gothic';"></span></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div></div></div></div><p><span style="font-family:'Century Gothic';"></span></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;">

Undefeated. James Hernandez is undefeated in all matches since March of this year, except for the Super Slam Battle Royale! Four months, he's not lost a match, and he's looked very impressive in every outing. Tonight, the 'Mainstream' NOTBPW Television Champion was up against a much larger opponent in 'Mighty' Danny Cavanagh. Cav is a fan favourite too, but tonight the fans got on his back for the way he treated their beloved Champion. He didn't care, he was out to become Champion himself. Hernandez was on the back foot for most of the match, with the crowd getting restless in expectation of seeing a comeback, but the longer the match went, the more likely that comeback just wouldn't happen. In the end though, Cavanagh got a little too cocky, and allowed Hernandez to hit multiple super kicks to keep Cav at bay! Cavanagh was stunned, and it didn't take long for Hernandez's long-awaited comeback to be fully effective, when he hit his 'Apparition #14' Spear!</div></div></div></div><p><span style="font-family:'Century Gothic';"></span></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div></div></div></div><p><span style="font-family:'Century Gothic';"></span></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;">

Sean McFly headed out to the ring second here, in his final match in NOTBPW. He was wearing dark coloured jeans, with kneepads on the outside, and a tight black t-shirt with 'Best in the World' emblazoned across the front in white text! Edd Stone was in his wrestling gear, but this 'Montreal Street Fight' was never going to be a wrestling match! The bell rang, and McFly flew at Stone, taking him down with a double-leg, and then hitting him with multiple right hands! Edd Stone suffered a cut lip very early on in the match, following a forearm smash from McFly, and it was a brutal fight from then on. Stone attempted a few low blows, but McFly kept countering it, and attempted arm bar submission holds! But Stone was relentless in his efforts, and eventually found some success with a big low kick that the referee was furious about! He could do nothing though, because there were no rules, and as McFly writhed around on the floor, Stone went for the hardware! Tables, chairs, a baseball bat, and kendo sticks were all brought into play by the young Stone Brother, and he attempted to use them ALL on McFly!</div></div></div></div><p><span style="font-family:'Century Gothic';"></span></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div></div></div></div><p><span style="font-family:'Century Gothic';"></span></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;">

Considering the fact that Sean McFly is Edd Stone's Brother-in-law, 'The Animal' treated him with a lot of disdain. Related or not, Edd had one thing in his mind tonight, making McFly bleed, and making him pay for what Edd sees as crimes against wrestling. As the 'Best in the World' McFly is able to adapt to most situations though. He countered a chair shot with a hard kick to Edd's left knee and set about trying to find weapons that he could wield himself. He finally found what he was looking for: A piece of 2x4 wrapped in barbed wire! But he wasn't finished there. He reached under the ring, and grabbed a cigarette lighter!! The bit of 2x4 must have been doused in petrol, because it went up in flash!! McFly nearly burnt his arm off, but he slowly climbed onto the apron, ready to climb in and confront Stone. But the crafty 'Animal' had grabbed a counter weapon: A fire extinguisher! He fired it at McFly, and blinded him, while putting the flaming 2x4 out! Stone attempted a spear through the ropes, but McFly JUST saw him coming, and managed to deliver a knee to the side of Stone's head! McFly grabbed his attacker in a front facelock. He then dropped backwards off the apron, and DDT'd Stone through a table!! The veteran landed hard himself, but he was able to roll an arm over onto Stone's chest, and the referee counted to three!!</div></div></div></div><p><span style="font-family:'Century Gothic';"></span></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div></div></div></div><p><span style="font-family:'Century Gothic';"></span></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;">

Sean McFly's final match in NOTBPW, ended with a victory... An amazing performance from both men, but in the end a little bit of luck, and a little bit of 'right place, right time' handed McFly the win... He won't be on Championship Wrestling this week, but 'The Animal' Edd Stone will be, and there's no doubt he's going to be angry about how this went down... The question now is, who will he target next...?! Having forced both Duane Stone and Sean McFly out of the company, his mission is seemingly complete... But there has to be someone else in his sights...</div></div></div></div><p><span style="font-family:'Century Gothic';"></span></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div></div></div></div><p><span style="font-family:'Century Gothic';"></span></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;">

Main Event time... A Triple Threat Match for the NOTBPW Canadian Championship... The undefeated Champion Gargantuan will defend against two DeColt brothers: Steve and Jack DeColt... In recent weeks, the two brothers have been in agreement that the best way to stop 'The Monster' is to team up, and take him out together... Just like the old days... 'The Outsider' and 'The Wild Man'... But how can they co-exist...?! It's been over fifteen years since they won the CGC Tag Team Titles together... Can they re-capture their chemistry for one night, and keep Gargantuan down for long enough to fight to the finish and have one of them become Canadian Champion?!</div></div></div></div><p><span style="font-family:'Century Gothic';"></span></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div></div></div></div><p><span style="font-family:'Century Gothic';"></span></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;">

Everyone who enters the ring with 'The Monster' Gargantuan has a great plan, until they enter the ring with 'The Monster' Gargantuan. The DeColt brothers wanted to team up and take him out, but after a punch to Jack DeColt's nose, followed by a huge lariat to Steve DeColt, put the kibosh on any plan they had. For the next few minutes they didn't get a chance to work together. Gargantuan just went between one opponent and then the other, beating and clubbing them both to the ground. Eventually though, Steve DeColt rose up and began fighting back! He punched Gargantuan in the side of the head, he kicked 'The Monster' in his hamstring, and he chopped the undefeated Canadian Champion across the chest! Steve DeColt was in charge, but when he looked to Jack DeColt to get up and help him, 'The Wild Man' was down in the corner, clutching his mid-section after being drilled with a knee from Gargantuan. Steve needed some help, but he didn't get any.</div></div></div></div><p><span style="font-family:'Century Gothic';"></span></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div></div></div></div><p><span style="font-family:'Century Gothic';"></span></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;">

With Steve DeColt laying into Gargantuan in the opposite corner, Jack DeColt looked hurt, but he somehow found the strength to leap up at the opportune moment and blast his brother in the back of the head! Jack then continued to 'play possum' on the outside of the ring, while Gargantuan regained his composure and entered into a fight with Steve DeColt. It looked like an even fight, but the crafty Jack DeColt was ready to pounce when he saw his opportunity again! He flew into the ring and chopped Gargantuan down at the knees, before delivering his patented 'End Of Days' finisher to Steve DeColt! Jack hadn't done nearly enough damage to Gargantuan though, and the big man lifted the former Canadian Champion up by his throat. Jack kicked and scratched, and managed to escape Gargantuan's grasp. However it wasn't long before Jack was back in 'The Monster's' death grip! Gargantuan hit a Chokeslam on Jack, ONTO Steve DeColt, and then threw Steve out of the ring. really fun show. Is "logan" Logan Wolfsbaine or someone random?

I am thinking it is Intrepid Ian Identity, but I might be wrong. It will be interesting if that is a one-off call up from developmental, or if this is where Robin fits into the landscape, doing the dirty work (i.e., losing) for Frost and Daddy.

'The Hillbilly Heartthrob' Solomon Gold [vs] 'Mr. Impact' Hugh Ancrie

Gold is working up the card with his new partner, so he gets some more momentum.

'The Shooting Star' Erik Strong [vs] POISON

The all-caps name makes him scarier...but he gets back to start rebuilding that lost pop.

Thrill Seeker [vs] 'The Man Beast' Akima Brave

I am a Thrill Seeker fan, so get him started on the individual path is a good move.

'The Ice Man' Derek Frost [vs] 'Dark Watch' Aldous Blackfriar

Calling it a DQ with Mutant taking out the old man.

'The Ace' Aaron Andrews [vs] 'Mighty' Danny Cavanagh

Andrews got a big win, and now he gets a chance to cross Cavanagh. Cavanagh needs to find something new or he will be giving wins to guys in storylines moving up the card.

Steve & Jack DeColt [vs] The Mavericks (John Maverick & Julian Watson)

The interesting pairing can't lose here, so they either figure out a way to win or get the Mavericks disqualified.

You guys have no idea how much I love reading your comments!! :D Sometimes you are way off the mark with your predictions about future feuds/storylines etc... Sometimes you see right through me!! Either way, I enjoy them immensely so keep them coming ;) Thought I'd take a minute to reply to some now...

'The Ace' Aaron Andrews [vs] 'Mighty' Danny Cavanagh

Cavanagh may be listed as a main eventer but he doesn't feel like one

Yeah, and this is a slight problem to me. I want him as an upper mid carder. The signings I've made to bolster that area are way more talented than him, but he has 'name value'. For some reason though, whenever he appears on pay-per-view, his popularity sky rockets and he remains in the low 90s in Canada!! I have a good storyline arch for him to follow coming soon though...

'The Shooting Star' Erik Strong [vs] POISON

The all-caps name makes him scarier...but he gets back to start rebuilding that lost pop.

:D :D :D I genuinely thought to myself: 'Hmmm... Having his name in capitals makes him seem scarier!!' :D Hahaha!! I think it makes him stand out a bit as well. I was loving booking him until he got taken down by the dreaded one year concussion out of nowhere. His character will be fleshed out more in the coming months too. At the age of 40 I probably shouldn't push him too hard, but I have some good plans.

Show and style here looks great by the way, took me from no particular interest in NOTBPW to I NEED to follow this!

Wow cheers man, I appreciate the compliment. I've always loved the Stone and DeColt families, but I get why NOTBPW seem like a boring company nowadays. I've shipped out a lot of the 'old guard', like the Stones, McFly, Bloodstone, and Bloodstone's protégé Jared Johnson, who although talented, seems boring to me. Hope I keep you interested, and as always, thoughts and opinions are more than welcome :)

<p>I just want to say that I love your diary, your NOTBPW vs CGC diary was the diary that made me begin to read diaries of TEW, probably one of the best I have read, and I havent found another diary like that, so when i saw this one, i knew this was going to be good. </p><p> </p><p>

<strong>'The Hillbilly Heartthrob' Solomon Gold</strong> [vs] 'Mr. Impact' Hugh Ancrie</p><p> </p><p>

'The Shooting Star' Erik Strong [vs] <strong>POISON</strong></p><p> </p><p>

<em>Well you have hyped the return of this man, for a while, and after 16 months outside the ring I think he can return with a win, and the fans would pop for it, even more in this New NOTBPW, that has a different product than when he debuted, only time will say if you continue his plans before he got injured, or if the time has been enough for him to be an afterthought.</em></p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Thrill Seeker</strong> [vs] 'The Man Beast' Akima Brave</p><p> </p><p>

<em>Well, you just had a lot of bad luck, losing three teams in such little time, first you lose one half of the tag team champions, then you lose one half of the former tag team champions, then you lose one half of the team that were supposed to be the tag team champions, hell it seems that Vessey and Price are tag team champions by default, the only non injured tag team that has enough momentum to carry the division, but that doesnt mean their partners have to be forgotten, so Thrill Seeker has to keep the momentum alive for his team.</em></p><p> </p><p>

<strong>'The Ice Man' Derek Frost</strong> [vs] 'Dark Watch' Aldous Blackfriar</p><p> </p><p>

<em>Derek Frost is an intersting case, he is almost as muscular as Dalay, he is a legit tough guy, but he hasnt been booked like one, he needs to get his name out there by himself, not always the second to Dan Dalay.</em></p><p> </p><p>

<strong>'The Ace' Aaron Andrews</strong> [vs] 'Mighty' Danny Cavanagh</p><p> </p><p>

<em>Mighty Cavanagh might be set as a main eventer, but he doesnt seems like one, meanwhile Andrews has Star written all over him, and he didnt leave sunny california to lose to an overhyped uppermidcarder.</em></p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Steve & Jack DeColt</strong> [vs] The Mavericks (John Maverick & Julian Watson)</p><p> </p><p>

<em>I love the DeColts, they are the biggest attraction in Canada, they arent losin on TV, and less to the Mavericks</em></p>

Thank you for this, I really appreciate it :) It's nice to know I've influenced people, and possibly helped them find other diaries too!

As for Logan... I don't think you dooooo ;) Maybe you could tell me what you think is going to happen and I'll tell you if you're right!

Don't worry about the sharp tongue, as long as it doesn't offend anyone, I'm okay with it. I'm quite hard to offend, but others are easier, so keep it as clean as you can in that respect.

JULY 2017, WEEK 3…

Show Rating: (85)

Pre-Show Match: The Ring Generals defeated Local Enhancement Talents with a 'Backdrop Backbreaker' (Lumbar Check) (80)

Announce Team:

9eHH4Wa.pnglNhSZHh.jpgngmZlbk.png

Peter Michaels, Tom Townsend and 'RDJ' Ricky Dale Johnson

We began this edition of Championship Wrestling with a big question: “Who the Hell is this Logan kid?!”... At Jeopardy this past weekend, Robin DaLay and his 'friend' Logan stepped in to fill the spot of Robin's Father Dan DaLay and his tag team partner Derek Frost... But nobody knows who Logan is... Robin DaLay is not even a Main Roster competitor... So how was he able to challenge for the NOTBPW Tag Team Titles... and how was he able to bring his friend up with him for the Title shot...?! General Manager Alex DeColt is said to be looking for Robin and Logan to get to the bottom of this... However rumour has it, neither young man is here tonight... Dan DaLay is still on the shelf... But Derek Frost is here... What will happen when Alex DeColt and Frost bump into each other...?! Will Alex blame Frost for his role in everything... Frost will want revenge over Aldous Blackfriar and Mutant, after they attacked him!! Looks like it's going to be a busy night for 'The Ice Man'...

'The Hillbilly Heartthrob'
Solomon Gold
w/ The Natural [vs] 'Mr. Impact'
Hugh Ancrie

A true test for Solomon Gold here, who is only 21 years old. He was up against an established midcarder in Hugh Ancrie, but he has a veteran as his tag team partner now. The Natural has taken it upon himself to train 'The Hillbilly Heartthrob', and he was also instrumental at ringside to help his young protege. Hugh Ancrie attempted his 'Crying Game' (Rolling German Suplex) finisher, but Gold landed on his feet, and locked in his 'Gold Standard' Sleeper Hold, and Ancrie tapped out!!

Winner:
'The Hillbilly Heartthrob' Solomon Gold w/ The Natural

Rating:
62

Finish:
'Gold Standard' (Sleeper)

'The Iron Man' Tim Westybrook was watching the action backstage next... and he began talking to everyone else in the back about how great HE is... He had a big victory at Jeopardy this past weekend in his 'Open Challenge', against Thrill Seeker... Westybrook is one of the top guys in the company, and the 41 year old is ready to kick on now and make a push for another NOTBPW Canadian Championship run... Nobody was willing to stand up to the veteran, except a veteran in his own right... 'All Business' Harrison Hash...

S5thf6B.jpg

Hash told Westybrook that he needs to be careful who he talks to like that... Hash was sticking up for the rest of the locker room, and everyone egged him on to fight 'The Iron Man' right there and then... But Hash has seen and done it all... He knew to stay cool and challenge Westybrook to a match next week, on Championship Wrestling... Westybrook was happy to accept the challenge, and the match was set... But Westybrook got in a shove on his way out the door, and Hash fell backwards into some of the younger members of the roster!! They held Hash back as Westybrook left...

nVqTUVp.jpg

aM2cSS2.jpg

Next up, we were reminded about how dangerous 'The Animal' Edd Stone can be... In recent months, he has won the NOTBPW Tag Team Titles with his Brother Duane Stone, before turning on Duane, attacking him, and then defeating him at Mid Summer Madness... He also fought his Brother-in-Law Sean McFly... He lost that match, but did a lot of damage to the 'Best in the World' in what was McFly's final match in NOTBPW... In the video, we cut to a post-match promo from Edd following the brutal fight he and McFly had... With a blood soaked bandage wrapped around his head, Edd said that he
didn't
lose against McFly...!!

Edd Stone:
“I can't have lost... I did EXACTLY what I said I would... I got rid of ANOTHER Stone 'Family Member'... A thorn in the side of MY Family... And next week, I'm going to do what I said I'd do again... Next week... I WILL call out my next opponent... I will look him in the eye... And I will tell him where HIS career will end...”

nVqTUVp.jpg

WjKmOro.jpg

Finally... After over ONE YEAR on the shelf... It was time for the return of the man known as 'POISON'... He arrived in NOTBPW in May of 2016, and after an undefeated month, he quickly began to establish himself as someone who could carry the upper mid card on his back... However, he had his clock cleaned in a singles match and was out with a major concussion for 13 months!! He's back now, and his first opponent was former two-time NOTBPW Television Champion Erik Strong!!

'The Shooting Star'
Erik Strong
[vs]
POISON

This match proved just how quickly a match could end out of nothing. Erik Strong and POISON had an open, even, contest for around 8 minutes, but suddenly, POISON locked Strong in his 'Antidote Web' finisher, and made Strong pass out!!

Winner:
POISON

Rating:

Finish:
'Antidote Web' (Tazmission)

A winning return for POISON, but backstage 'The Ice Man' Derek Frost was looking for General Manager Alex DeColt... Frost found who he was looking for, and both men were FURIOUS with each other... Frost wanted Alex to do something about Aldous Blackfriar and Mutant's attack on him, Robin DaLay, and Robin's friend Logan... But Alex thought the attack was warranted... Alex was angry because he didn't authorise Robin and Logan taking Frost and Dan DaLay's place in the NOTBPW Tag Team Title Match...

Alex DeColt:
“I don't even know who that Logan kid is... What were they doing in such a high-profile match...?! Why should I reward you, and punish Aldous and Mutant, who just wanted to make an impact at your expense...”

Derek Frost asked Alex DeColt if he watched the match... To which Alex replied: “NO”... Frost knew then that Alex didn't recognise Logan... But he told him he might want to go back and watch some footage... He told Alex to be careful, if he doesn't want his 'secret' to come out...!! This made Alex REALLY angry, but he was able to see a solution... He allowed Frost to pick Aldous or Mutant... (he picked Aldous)... to fight 1 on 1 later tonight...!!

'High Energy'
Thrill Seeker
[vs] 'The Man Beast'
Akima Brave

Amazing match between these two solid performers who are in their mid 30s. This past Saturday, Thrill Seeker made his return after a month off following an injury to his tag team partner Jacob Jett. On Saturday, Seeker lost to Tim Westybrook in a competitive match. This match was also competitive, but this time Seeker had a point to prove. He flew into action late on and delivered a number of flying kicks. In the end, he hit the 'Daredevil Drop' from the top rope on a very game Akima Brave!

Winner:
'High Energy' Thrill Seeker

Backstage, Katie Cameron was interviewing her guest: 'Awesome' Wade Orson... The young Brit has had mixed fortunes since arriving in NOTBPW, but it looks like he's now finally gotten past his rival Lord James King... 'The Gentleman' made life difficult for Orson upon his arrival in Canada, but Orson rose above it, and last week he defeated King in a brilliant Street Fight... Cameron asked Orson what's next... Or rather, who's next, for Orson... He wasn't 100% sure, but he knew he wanted to find success in Canada sooner rather than later, and that means Championships... But before he could finish his thought, he was knocked over from behind!!

kcix8Kh.jpg

POISON stood over his victim with a snarling look on his face... He told Orson that HE is next for the British star... It's a case of 'Out of the Frying Pan, Into the Fire' for Orson as he's gone from one dastardly villain to another... Orson tried to get up to fight back, but POISON delivered a slap across the face that turned Orson around 180!! POISON then locked Orson in his 'Antidote's Web' (Tazmission) finisher, and Orson passed out a few seconds later!! What a return it's been for POISON... He defeated Erik Strong earlier tonight, and now he's gone after, and taken out Wade Orson!!

'The Ice Man'
Derek Frost
[vs] 'Dark Watch'
Aldous Blackfriar
w/ Mutant

Derek Frost will feel like this match was a punishment, more than an opportunity to get revenge on Aldous Blackfriar and Mutant!! Frost was out there alone tonight due to Dan DaLay's concussion, and he was in trouble right from the start following a brutal lariat on the outside of the ring from Aldous's bodyguard Mutant! Aldous won comfortably in the end when he locked Frost in his unbreakable 'Batwing' submission hold, and Frost tapped!

'Shooter' Sean Deeley was backstage next, rallying his troops 'The Shooters' after a pretty embarrassing performance at Jeopardy this past weekend... Ernest Youngman, Dean Waldorf and Marv Statler lost to Sonny Wildside, The Natural and Solomon Gold this past Saturday, and Deeley wasn't impressed with them... He seemed to side with Ernest Youngman a little bit, claiming that he's a 'rookie at best', and that Waldorf and Statler should know better, and should have been there more for him...

Sean Deeley:
“HOW did you lose...?! You lost to a Relic in The Natural... The man is

45 years old!! And Solomon Gold and Sonny Wildside are younger than him if they COMBINE their ages...!! So next week... I'm going to show you three how it's done... When I beat Sonny Wildside, like I ALWAYS do...!!”

Another look at the promo for the mystery signings NOTBPW have made to bolster the Tag Team Division here... The two 'Mexican Megastars' will arrive soon, and the video we saw today told us that they will be the FIRST challengers for Cameron Vessey and Christian Price's NOTBPW Tag Team Titles!! At Summer Smash next month, the Mexican new arrivals will battle Vessey and Price for their newly won Titles... We'll hear from Vessey and Price in one week as they respond to the news...

'The Ace'
Aaron Andrews
[vs] 'Mighty'
Danny Cavanagh

Aaron Andrews and Danny Cavanagh are at similar levels in terms of their position on the roster, but Cav is so much bigger, and a lot stronger! 'Mighty' Cavanagh used his might to throw 'The Ace' around the ring. At one point, Andrews landed face first on the ropes following a throw by Cav. A large welt appeared on his chin, and Cav targeted it from that point onwards. In the end though, Cav fell victim to Andrews' 'Hot Shot' finisher, and he was pinned!!

Next up, we learned that in two weeks, we're going to see a HUGE match here on NOTBPW Championship Wrestling... NOTBPW Television Champion James Hernandez will take on NOTBPW Canadian Champion Gargantuan!! 'Mainstream' James Hernandez and 'The Monster' Gargantuan have NEVER fought 1 on 1 before... And both men have been on an incredible roll lately... Hernandez hasn't lost on television since March of this year... He's been Television Champion since February... Meanwhile Gargantuan hasn't lost since signing for NOTBPW... That's around 18 months now... In two weeks... It's going to be 'Streak versus Streak'... and Champion versus Champion!!

Jack DeColt & Steve DeColt
[vs]
The Mavericks
(John Maverick & Julian Watson)

The two DeColt Brothers have been at each others throats for much of this year, but tonight they looked on the same page for this tag team main event! Their teamwork was the reason they were able to score the win, because without it, they would have struggled against the formidable Mavericks! John Maverick and Julian Watson tried to isolate Steve DeColt, but he's a hard man to tie down for long. He managed to tag in 'The Wild Man' and Jack DeColt took control! It was an even fight from then on, but the DeColts had enough about them to take care of business when it mattered most. Jack sent Maverick flying over the top rope, and went over with him after a brutal lariat! This left the door open for Steve DeColt to hit his 'DeColt Stampede' on Watson!

Winners:
Jack DeColt & Steve DeColt

Rating:
85

Finish:
'DeColt Stampede' (Big Boot)

</div>

ykdqdiY.jpgYOwAc6Y.jpg

After the match, and after Steve and Jack DeColt had their hands raised in victory, there was a moment of tension between the two former multiple time World Champions... But when Jack grabbed a microphone and HANDED IT to Steve, it was clear that things were civil between the Brothers... for now... Jack graciously left the ring, and bowed to Steve as he left... Leaving 'The Outsider' holding the microphone, ready to address the NOTBPW fans... and he had a challenge to make...

Steve DeColt:
“In the last couple of years... I've watched some of my greatest rivals retire from the ring... Or leave the company in order to 'wind down' their careers in another place... Jeremy Stone... Dan Stone Jr... Duane Stone... Sean McFly... Even my oldest rival, my brother Alex DeColt... and I just want to confirm right now... that I'M GOING NOWHERE!! I'm here to stay...”

Steve said that in recent months, he's come up against possibly his most difficult challenge: Getting past 'The Monster' Gargantuan... But... He's never fought the undefeated NOTBPW Canadian Champion in 1 on 1 match... Gargantuan beat Steve, Jack AND Ricky DeColt at Mid Summer Madness, in a Fatal-4-Way... Then it was a Triple Threat Match at Jeopardy this past weekend in which Gargantuan defeated Steve and Jack... But Jack leaving the ring moments ago was symbolic of the DeColt Brothers allowing Steve a 1 on 1 shot to see if he can be the man to stop 'The Monster'...

Steve DeColt:
“With the blessing of all three of my brothers... I am officially challenging Gargantuan to a match... Steve DeColt versus Gargantuan... In a TOTAL WAR MATCH!!!”

A TOTAL WAR MATCH is a match created by Satyr24, a regular reader of my diaries... It was a Prediction Prize he chose from my previous effort with NOTBPW and CGC, and it's a heck of an invention... The match is a singles match, contested in an Elimination Chamber type environment... The four pods are closed, and you can't see what's in them... Each competitor chooses TWO weapons each to fill two pods each... Then the pods are breakable, and can be opened by the men in the match... Once opened, the weapon inside becomes legal to use however the user chooses...

The challenge was set, and now it's over to Gargantuan to answer it... The show ended there... but next week should be a huge show... Harrison Hash will battle Tim Westybrook... Sonny Wildside will go 1 on 1 with 'Shooter' Sean Deeley... and we're going to find out the identity of the two Mexican Megastars that will be debuting in a couple of weeks... We'll also hear from both James Hernandez AND Gargantuan on their future 'Champion versus Champion' Match... And Gargantuan will respond to Steve DeColt's challenge to go to 'TOTAL WAR'!!! The most brutal match in NOTBPW history!!!
