Bison for the Television Championship, plus several TGL talents will be hoping to impress the CWL fans as they look for a spot on the full time roster. Opening Match Singles Match Twenty Minute Time Limit Sgt. Bison versus “The Mennonite Mammoth” Jakob Yoder © In a bout that had good wrestling but didn't have much heat, Sgt. Bison defeated Jakob Yoder in 16:13 by submission after a distraction from R.W. Vega. Sgt. Bison wins the CWL Television title. Shadaloo is in the ring after Bison has just become Television Champion. They cut a very arrogant promo, saying that Vega has been gone for too long but he’s back now and Shadaloo will pick up where they left off. They’ve only gotten better and now they’re going to take over all of CWL. Tag Team Match Fifteen Minute Time Limit The Cummos versus The Canadian Lumberjacks In a bout that had decent wrestling but little heat, The Cummos defeated The Canadian Lumberjacks in 11:53 when Luis Cummo defeated Paul Barnes by pinfall with a Giant Crusher. In terms of in-ring work, Luis Cummo was head and shoulders above everyone else. Paul Barnes was the weak link, struggling to keep up with everyone else's in-ring performance. Singles Match Fifteen Minute Time Limit Colleen Appleseed versus “The Franchise” Brooke Tyler In a bout that had decent wrestling but little heat, Brooke Tyler defeated Colleen Appleseed in 6:46 by submission with a Brooke Breaker. Singles Match Fifteen Minute Time Limit “The Troubadour” Floyd Reeves versus “Glorious” Logan Diaz In a bout that had good wrestling but little heat, Logan Diaz defeated Floyd Reeves in 10:14 by pinfall with a Belly To Belly Suplex. vs Floyd Reeves is getting to his feet after losing to Logan when James hits the ring as well. christmas_ape
Really cool to see what's going on in the wrestling world. Some interesting stuff in it. I guess they have such good tv coverage and no one challenging them but 21CW roster doesn't sound up for the 3rd biggest in the world, when Stevie Stoat and Lance Martin are in your best wrestler category. Also impressive Khoklov is still going strong, and especially The Force?! Where are Wolf Hawkins and Remo? Surprising to not see them on the list. Also impressive Khoklov is still going strong, and especially The Force?! Where are Wolf Hawkins and Remo? Surprising to not see them on the list.

21CW has been hit hard from a talent perspective, but their TV deal has allowed them to stay afloat. Lance Martin, for instance, is a B in popularity across the UK, Europe, United States, Canada, and Australia. He's a C- in Mexico and his popularity is terrible in Japan because 21CW has no outlet in Japan. Their youngest main eventer is "The British Lion" Leigh Burton, who is 31 years old. His popularity is on the rise, ranging from a D+/C- in Mexico to a B/B- in the UK. What they really have going for them is a strong core of National School of Wrestling graduates who are in their late twenties to early thirties that are all mid or upper midcarders that are ready to take over for the older roster. The biggest losses they have had have been the two Cornells to British Pro Wrestling and Adam Matravers to USPW. While USPW and SOTBPW have rosters that are relying on stars made in other companies, 21CW, of the four big international companies (WLW isn't international, but are solidly national and while in technical size only USPW is international at this point, 21CW, SWF, and SOTBPW have significant international distribution) have the best core of stars-in-wait. 21CW has twenty-seven active wrestlers that are 37 and older balanced against thirty-three wrestlers that are under 36 with 8 of them being UMC or better. SWF only has 18 wrestlers 37+, with 22 of them being 36 and under, but of those 22, only three are UMC or better -- and two of those are already 36. USPW has five guys that are 36 or under and are UMC or better (actually, all are UMC). Of those five, 3 are 36 and 1 is 35. SOTBPW only has 2 workers 36 and under that are UMC or better, both of them are UMC -- Dr. Rudo and Multimillinario, 34 and 36 years of age respectfully. So while it seems like 21CW shouldn't be as high in the international rankings as they are, I actually think they are the most poised to continue to be a threat.

Remo is SWF's number 4 guy. He has had an underwhelming career since the game started. His average match is a 'B' with 'A' being his highest rating and a 'C+' being his lowest. So he hasn't been bad -- he just hasn't consistently carried SWF. He lost the SWF World Title in June of 2016 and has not won it, or any other championships, in the seven years since. He also has been on a downward slide in the power rankings, coming in in at #201 in 2022.

Wolf Hawkins is a Main Eventer in SOTBPW, probably number 6 or 7 on their depth chart. He's been with them for just over three years. His first year there he was the #5 wrestler in the world (but he split that year in USPW as well), he was then the #11 and #10 wrestler in the world. He was with USPW for four years and had a seventeen month reign as USPW World Champion.

demondragonking
I have to thank you. This diary has inspired me to not only add a Rocky Mountain Wrestling company to my game, but also try my hand at a start up company. Usually I take either USPW or TCW for my games, but not this time. Say hello to GLPW Great Lakes Pro Wrestling. Still a local company at the moment, but hopefully I won't run it into the ground. Three months, in the red three times. blah.

Filmed at: Huntsville Fairgrounds[south East, USA] In Attendance: 5,000 [sELL OUT] Rating: 2.62 [1,969,440 viewers] Commentators: Lee Bambino & Ricky Dale Johnson LB: Hello and welcome to another exciting and thrill-packed episode of Saturday Night Slammasters. We are coming to you from the sold-out Hunstville Fairgrounds. What a show we have for you tonight -- we are on the road to Halloween Throwdown -- and tonight Amber Allen and Jaime Quine have accepted a challenge from Alicia Strong and Brooke Tyler for the North American Women’s Tag Team Championship. Plus, the Television Title is on the line. The cameraman is running backstage. He rounds a corner and we see Matty Faith laying on the ground. There is a bent steel chair next to him. He looks unconscious. Standing over him is Father Grim. He is flanked by two men -- one is The Acolyte and the other is someone we have never met before. Grim says nothing as backstage personnel arrive on the scene and he backs away with his two new minions following him. Opening Match Singles Match Fifteen Minute Time Limit “The Headhunter” Jeffery Aroma versus “Flawless” Franklin Rush w/ Lisa Bowen In a bout that had decent wrestling but didn't have much heat, Jeffery Aroma defeated Franklin Rush in 12:06 by pinfall with a Complex Choke Slam. Spencer Spade and Lisa Bowen come out to the ring. Spencer is without the GWC World Heavyweight Championship that he has held so dear. The announcers make it clear that he recently lost the championship in Europe to Konrad Makinen when Ross Henry showed up and caused a distraction. Spade does not look happy and he expresses his displeasure. He clearly blames Ross Henry for his loss in Europe. Henry comes out and says its not his fault. He was there as the special guest of the promoter and was scouting a potential future opponent in Konrad Makinen. Spade disagreed -- saying Henry was there to screw him and now he’s had enough. He challenged Ross Henry to a steel cage match with the loser being forced to leave CWL for 60 days. Henry agrees. Singles Match Twenty Minute Time Limit “Whole Lotta Lovin’” Ralph Liotta versus Sgt. Bison In a bout that had good wrestling but didn't have much heat, Sgt. Bison defeated Ralph Liotta in 15:44 by pinfall with a handful of tights. Sgt. Bison makes defence number 1 of his CWL Television title. Singles Match Fifteen Minute Time Limit “Red Hot” Laura Flame versus Selina Svelte In a bout that had decent wrestling but little heat, Laura Flame defeated Selina Svelte in 8:59 by pinfall with a Flame Fire Kick. Very similar to the start of the show, the cameraman is running but this time we find Primus Allen down and out with the unknown masked monster and The Acolyte standing over him with Father Grim standing there. Grim puts his hand on both of their shoulders. FG: Acolyte. Moloch. Let’s go He says this just in time as backstage personnel flood the scene.
Singles Match Fifteen Minute Time Limit “The Troubador” Floyd Reeves versus “Return of the Monster” James Diaz In a bout that had good wrestling and a decent reaction from the crowd, James Diaz defeated Floyd Reeves in 8:18 by pinfall with a Death by Diaz. Main Event Tag Team Match Twenty Minute Time Limit Alicia Strong & Brooke Tyler w/ Lisa Bowen versus Jaime Quine & Amber Allen © In a bout that had great wrestling and a decent reaction from the crowd, Amber Allen and Jaime Quine drew with Alicia Strong and Brooke Tyler in 20:00 when the time limit expired. Filmed at: Missouri State Armory[Mid West, USA] In Attendance: 5,000 [sELL OUT] Rating: 2.56 [1,924,950 viewers] Commentators: Lee Bambino & Ricky Dale Johnson LB: Hello and welcome to another exciting and thrill-packed episode of Saturday Night Slammasters. We are coming to you from the sold-out Missouri State Armory. Tonight, KC Glenn and Casey Valentine go one on one in our main event. After the attacks of last week, Matty Faith and Primus Allen are teaming up to face Father Grim’s new duo of The Acolyte and Moloch. All that and so much more, but before we get to any in ring action, The Diaz Cousins have some things they’d like to say. The Diaz Cousins come down to the ring. They take microphones and start talking to the crowd. They are incredibly unhappy with the suspension James Diaz had to serve. They say it was… well a word we’re not allowed to say on broadcast television… They’re the World Tag Team Champions and they should be treated like it. Suddenly, some patriotic-esque music hits and out walks the man formerly known as Eddie Carter… He’s not alone though! He announces that he is going by the name Ballistic and his partner is Barrage. Together they are American Muscle. They don’t like what the Diaz Cousins did to Floyd Reeves. The way they ripped his knee out of socket. That was uncalled for and both Ballistic and Barrage are here to take a stand. The Diaz Cousins laughed at this. They didn’t seem the least bit intimidated and said that next week these boys can have their chance. Just don’t blame the Diaz Cousins when they can’t make a livin’ in wrestling after. Opening Match Singles Match Fifteen Minute Time Limit “The Hillbilly Hammer” Clyde Puder versus Justice Jolson In an extremely short match, Clyde Puder defeated Justice Jolson in 3:58 by pinfall with a Patriot Powerslam. Singles Match Fifteen Minute Time Limit “The Mennonite Mammoth” Jakob Yoder versus R.W. Vega In a bout that had decent wrestling but little heat, Jakob Yoder defeated R.W. Vega in 5:02 by pinfall with a Whip-In Big Foot. Singles Match Twenty Minute Time Limit “Jumpin’” Johnny Needham versus Sgt. Bison © In a bout that had good wrestling but didn't have much heat, Sgt. Bison defeated Johnny Needham in 13:56 by pinfall by using underhanded tactics. Sgt. Bison makes defence number 2 of his CWL Television title. Mikey James comes to the ring. The Dragon says he is back after his ankle injury and he is looking for competition. He’s not booked tonight, but since the first two matches did not go to time limit, there is time left in the program and he’s looking to fill it. So if anyone in the back wants to Dance with the Dragon, come on down. While The Dragon is in the ring, The Butcher comes out. Alexander Vasquez says he’s not booked tonight and he’s looking to prove that he can hang with the best Junior Heavyweights in the world -- so why not start with the reigning World’s Junior Heavyweight Champion. Singles Match Fifteen Minute Time Limit “The Dragon” Mikey James versus “The Butcher” Alexander Vasquez In a bout that had great wrestling and a decent reaction from the crowd, Alexander Vasquez defeated Mikey James in 14:34 by pinfall with a handful of tights. Tag Team Match Fifteen Minute Time Limit Matty Faith & Primus Allen versus Moloch & The Acolyte w/ Father Grim In a decent match, Moloch and The Acolyte defeated Primus Allen and Matty Faith in 9:12 when Moloch defeated Matty Faith by pinfall following interference from Torment. Moloch was the weak link, struggling to keep up with everyone else's in-ring performance. Strong and Tyler were in front of the camera with Lisa Bowen. The two women had a lot to say about their tag team title match last week. In their minds, they are the rightful North American Women’s Tag Team Champions, because Allen and Quine couldn’t beat them. If the champs couldn’t beat them, then they should be the champions.
Main Event Singles Match Twenty Minute Time Limit KC Glenn versus “Cool Hand” Casey Valentine w/ Lisa Bowen In a bout that had superb wrestling and a decent reaction from the crowd, Casey Valentine defeated KC Glenn in 17:50 by pinfall with a Deep Impact after Lisa Bowen interfered. Historian
His size sixteen boots sunk into the mud. It had been a rainy few days, but the rain did not mean the work could stop. He used his kerchief to mop his brow before he picked back up his chainsaw. The rain had come from storms, the storms had knocked several trees down on Clyde’s ten-acre tract of land outside of Laramie, Wyoming. It was about one hundred thirty miles away from Denver -- a little far out from the base of operations for the CWL and really a little far out for a guy who was on the road a lot, but Clyde didn’t care. He grew up on a pig farm in Arkansas. He grew up dirt poor. You got what you got because you were willing to work for it. He’d lived his whole life that way. He took the guaranteed money he got from Packer and USPW and he bought himself his ten-acre slice of the American dream. It was tucked back away from people. Quiet. Still. Two creeks kept the water supply fresh. He had no cattle, but he had chickens and pigs and two Clydesdales that could support his six-feet-ten inch frame. He grew a small smattering of crops -- not a full-blown farm, just something he could handle when he was home. He fired up the chainsaw and pushed the blade into the downed tree. A storm had knocked it down and it had collapsed part of his fence line. So here he was, chainsaw in hand. It had taken Clyde awhile to find his stride in the CWL. When he left, he had been the top babyface. He had beaten Riley McManus for the North American Heavyweight Championship at Wrestling Summit V and looked poised for a monster run at the top. Then he took the big money contract and the promises that Allen Packer and company fed him. Robbie was still booking then. Clyde was going to be the next Sam Strong or Nicky Champion. The next big babyface star. They needed him. South of the Border had been incredibly aggressive in signing away the big stars in the United States for an international expansion that never came. Clyde was supposed to fill the void that was left. He was promised that spot, but this is the wrestling business and the promises led to nothing and led to a year later him finding his way back to Robert Oxford and the place that had made something out of him. It wasn’t the same though. He came back but the fans remembered how he left. They were bitter. Resentful. He had to earn it back -- and he worked hard with Jakob Yoder to do that. To build his reputation back. It had been two years since then. He and Jakob had been successful as a team. Twice they had been North American Tag Champs. They had been World Tag Team Champions. They had reconnected with the crowd. Now Clyde and Jakob had, by and large, peacefully returned to singles competition. Clyde was still finding his singles footing again. He had worked with Primus and Alexander at The Last Hard Men -- trying to get back into the swing of things. On this past week’s Saturday Night Slammaster, he worked a match with Justice Jolson. He was starting to get back into it, to get the fans back. They had more fans than they had ever had. Each episode of Saturday Night Slammasters was inching closer and closer to two million viewers. The Pay Per Views were getting more and more buys. Clyde also knew the pecking order. Ross Henry, Matty Faith and Riley McManus were the three top faces in the company right now. Clyde could be number four. Mikey James was up there, but Mikey was also the World Junior Heavyweight Champion and was -- until his ankle injury -- spending a lot of time travelling around the world. Clyde had a goal for his career. He wanted to become the face of the organization. He wanted to supplant Ross and Riley and Matty. Clyde wanted to be at the top of the mountain. He knew to get there he was going to have to work hard. He was going to have to really impress. That was for the ring. Right now, he had a tree to take care of and a fence to rebuild. Filmed at: Ellison’s [Hawaii, USA] In Attendance: 5,000 [sELL OUT] Rating: 2.60 [1,952,870 viewers] Commentators: Lee Bambino & Ricky Dale Johnson LB: Hello and welcome to another exciting and thrill-packed episode of Saturday Night Slammasters. We are coming to you from the sold-out Ellison’s on the shores of the Pacfic Ocean. Tonight, in our main event, Luis Cummo goes one on one with Johnny Anderson. Both of them are representing their respective tag teams and this match is a preview of the North American Tag Team Title contest that we will see at Halloween Throwdown. RDJ: Plus The Diaz Cousins, the World Tag Team Champions, are in non-title action against the team that is calling themselves American Muscle. It should be a great night of wrestling, Lee and let’s get right to it. Primus Allen and Matty Faith come out and says that after Torment interefered in the match last week, they’ve talked to “Pistol” Pete Hall and have a six man tag team match booked for Halloween Throwdown. They had to go out and find themselves a partner -- and they did. They found one. This man is no stranger to The Acolyte… They found.. “The Juice” OJ Morris. Former two-time Texas Junior Heavyweight Champion and a 2017 graduate of the Rocky Mountain School of Wrestling -- and one of the smoothest wrestlers in all the land. He is joining forces with Primus and Matty to give balance to what The Acolyte brings to the table. Opening Match Fifteen Minute Time Limit American Muscle versus The Diaz Cousisn In a bout that had decent wrestling but didn't have much heat, American Muscle defeated The Diaz Cousins in 13:43 when Ballistic defeated James Diaz by pinfall with a Star Face Slam. In terms of in-ring work, Logan Diaz was head and shoulders above everyone else. Barrage was the weak link, struggling to keep up with everyone else's in-ring performance. Singles Match Twenty Minute Time Limit “Latin Sensation” Leon Pena versus Sgt. Bison © In a bout that had great wrestling but didn't have much heat, Leon Pena drew with Sgt. Bison in 20:00 when the time limit expired. Georgia Bulldogs were backstage and they had a lot to say about C-V-2, who they are wrestling at Halloween Throwdown. The Bulldogs are going to bring everything they’ve got, because they want to finally bring a stop to Bowen Services and their reign of terror. Singles Match Fifteen Minute Time Limit “The Hillbilly Hammer” Clyde Puder versus Molokai Milk In an extremely short match, Clyde Puder defeated Molokai Milk in 5:06 by pinfall with a Patriot Powerslam. Singles Match Fifteen Minute Time Limit Alina America versus “The Franchise” Brooke Tyler In a bout that had decent wrestling but didn't have much heat, Brooke Tyler defeated Alina America in 8:38 by submission with a Brooke Breaker. Laura Flame was backstage hyping up her match at Halloween Throwdown. She’s finally got the opportunity to face Alicia Strong for the North American Women’s Championship -- and she’s not going to disappoint or come up short. It’s her time.
Main Event Singles Match Twenty Minute Time Limit “The Hawaiian Heartthrob” Luis Cummo versus Johnny Anderson w/ February Malaise In a bout that had superb wrestling and a decent reaction from the crowd, Luis Cummo defeated Johnny Anderson in 16:38 by pinfall with a roll up. If you look at my roster, it is still primarily guys who are still developing as talents. A lot of dojo graduates that only have a few years of experience. This has been our best year for match grades -- with five A matches (so far) on the year and six B+ matches on the year (so far). We don't have wrestlers with the popularity yet to deliver the A* matches or anything like that, so I think we are right where we should be.

And, my product does not require storylines, but I use them intermittently
