Ms Quine demanded to know what had happened, and it turned out Lisa (Lady Liberty) had been spreading rumours about Mary Beth Chase, which had almost led to a fight.</p><p> </p><p> "I've had enough of this. Lisa, I'm fining you half your pay for tonight. Mary, you can choose a charity to give it to." It was pretty clear Ms Quine was trying to find something for us, and thought maybe if we clicked with a certain partner, she could build on that.</p><p> </p><p> Unfortunately, tonight wasn't that night. We weren't bad together, to be fair, we just didn't click either. This wasn't a decent match by my standards, this was a decent match by anyone's standards. Suzi's probably one of our best wrestlers, maybe top 10 in the world of female wrestling.</p><p> </p><p> The finish, I don't think a lot of people saw coming. Not only had The Uprising (Ellie, Selina and Talia Quinzel) attacked Lilly & Rose last month, but they'd cost The A-List (Demelza & Nadia) a potential tag title victory in the process. On top of that, we had Nadia's strange actions and the obvious friction between her and Demelza, and this was sure to be intriguing!</p><p> </p><p> The match had one member of each team legal at all times, starting with Ellie, Kate and, after a brief disagreement with her partner, Nadia. The match built slowly over the 17 minutes and 32 seconds it lasted, building to a crescendo when the three women who started the match re-entered the ring near the end, their partners all down and exhausted outside the ring after a triple hot-tag.</p><p> </p><p> The action was intense, when suddenly Suzi appeared to distract Nadia!</p><p> </p><p> <img alt="Suzanne-Brazzle.jpg" data-src="https://i.ibb.co/SBhzmXC/Suzanne-Brazzle.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> <em>Payback!</em></p><p> </p><p> While Nadia was distracted, Kate got the pin on Ellie, using the ropes for leverage! If you ask me, Cathy, that makes me the <strong><em>Top Contender</em></strong> for the Femme Fatale Championship! Otherwise, why is it even called the Top Contender's title?</p></div></blockquote><p> </p><p> Ms Quine did not look impressed at being addressed as "Cathy," but of course that was the point. She composed herself, then announced that Talia and Sara would go at it, one-on-one, right now! I just got done talking to Selina, and we've agreed terms for her to continue to work with us for another three years. Nothing exclusive, she'll still be able to take work elsewhere, but we're only doing one show a month, so that's only fair.

From what I can gather, it was a freak accident, no-one was to blame and there are no hard feelings between Zoe and Kristabel Plum, her opponent for the night.</p><p> </p><p> Zoe, the absolute trooper that she is, actually managed to go through with the planned finish for the match, which was her getting disqualified, despite the pain she must’ve been in!</p><p> </p><p> I fired off a quick text: <em>Hi hun, just read what happened, hope you’re okay! x</em> I got a reply within a few minutes: <em>Yeah, I’m okay, they’re rough up here!
