BlueStar
I'm starting to think there is Crew Aligned and something else ... not necessarily being Clark Aligned but a possible mason/usurper group. If Crew Aligned woud target crew Aligned, that should be a clear vig...it seems like this is different. That being said, role-wise I don't have a criminal record or background...I'm surprised Opulent had that role.

There are many town abilities that can kill, number one being Vigilante. The one in question seems to be a kind of twist on jailor. Instead of killing them, he is jailing them for what appears to be the rest of the game. The standard Jailor just puts them in jail for a night and day phase, without giving us a role. bak42
You can't get rid of me that easily Meh, you still have a ways to go before you break my record of roles in a single game. Teh_Showtime
To the person that jailed Opulent, do not feel bad. Without the knife being thrown in there, I might have thought one way... but with the knife makes me think you just jailed someone that might have been able to be recruited to the scum team. Just... I would have rather waited until that happened before jailing him. He's a good asset to town as long as that's his win condition. Also, the description of him didn't seem like a big meanie either... How would we know it happened in the first place? As far as I’m concerned preventing a dangerous outcome is far better than maybe waiting until he’s even more dangerous. Guest Opulent
Would still like to see Emark pushed but we need to open multiple avenues of pressure early on otherwise we will stall out like last phase. No lynching isn't helping us much. Notably people speculating about Opulent v1's death seem to be distracting or creating a threat that likely isn't there. Seems like a specific role on role interaction to me.
Zergon
You're not Jaded, Zergon. Just kidding. Glad to help. Some town can, town vigilante is a role that has that power. I'd suggest checking this out: http://www.greydogsoftware.com/forum/forumdisplay.php?f=148 It lists common roles and terminology. Any role can be town or scum, it's just a matter of how it is used. So a killing role could theoretically be town. And something seemingly innocent could be mafia. It is better to ask questions and learn than be quiet and not understand what is happening. That´s what I get for asking questions, I thought I had finally catched up and now I have an entire new threat to read? On more serious noet, thanks a lot for that link, it will come handy. Generally speaking, but there is the "vigilante" role which is a townie with a night kill. Personally, I have a huge problem with this "Space Marshall is a SK" theory. Zergon
I should follow up with a question of my own, Zergon. You're new and have a fresh perspective, anyone standing out to you as particularly scummy? Not particularly scummy, then again, I don´t think I´m yet experienced enough to really find scum even if they stand right in front of me. Eternal Phoenix is one I had my eyes early on since mainly because of that "I´m always going to be lazy on first few days" but I didn´t see much challenge on that so I´d figured it was just him acknowledging his usual playing style. Other than that it´s mostly just the basic who haven´t posted much and who haven´t given reasoning for that like Eliphas.
