I'm always a slow start in games, it takes me a while to get fully invested and build a clear picture of what everyone is about. I soend the first few days just assuming you're all scum til proved otherwise.

 

For what it's worth - not a lot - I don't see what about Emark got folk on his back.

Although I guess I shouldn't assume the Space Marshall is town. Could be an SK who "apprehends" rather than kills. But seems too convenient that it was a wanted criminal who was caught.

Yeah, that reads to me like a mini-game being (partly?) completed on N1.

 

Personally, I have a huge problem with this "Space Marshall is a SK" theory. Maybe it's just me, but the term space marshall makes me think of air marshalls, which are cops. You know, good guys. I think the marshall is actually our town vig, and tbp was actually the SK but was killed by the scum before doing any killing.

I agree with this. Doesn't sound like TBP was good for us at all. I feel bad for Ray if that's his SK down on the first night. Sucks for the mod when that happens...

Relax, DJ. I'm never any good on Day 1. It takes me a while to properly invest in a game and find my stride. Forgive my banter, I'll try harder.

We were, about The Two. Then you started talking to him, lol. Far as between him Rev, and Emark, I like going with Emark again.

 

People I am still very weary of.

 

Leion, The Two, Bluestar (although not as much recently), BHK1978, Michgcs, The Archer, Moon lit tears, Teh Showtime

 

I feel like there are one or two in that bunch I could clear if there was something more from them.

Well we’ve had some notable pressure on Emark and Leion, Rev to a slightly lesser extent. I’d like to cast a wider net this phase tho. If we keep returning to the same few names we’ll be digging our own grave. I’m okay with Emark as a backup lynch candidate

I will note that I’m not a fan of EP’s attitude of openly not really playing for the first few phases. Just seems like a cheap free pass to mid game and shouldn’t really be encouraged

<p>I'll concede, I didn't initially read TBP as the SK. Was more just looking at the amount of deaths and figuring 2 deaths per night felt right for the size of the game.</p><p> </p><p>

And say what you want about the flavor but if Crew/Town (fix your graveyard post Ray) aligned players are being taken out for the remainder of the game</p><p>

by one individual then I'm not happy about it. Not trying to out the marshall if he can indeed help, but taking out a good player like OP, who wasn't scum and whom I had a town lean on, doesn't fill me with warm and fuzzies regarding that person's motives.</p><p> </p><p>

But yes more likely a mini-game where the Marshall needs to find on the run criminals to fulfill a win condition. Let's hope there is actual scum that needs to be found to fulfill that win condition and not just more crew members trying to hide.</p><p> </p><p>

Anyway, much like the question regarding the Cult, that stuff will work itself out throughout the game so that's all I'm going to speculate about it.</p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p>

Back to people's actual play.</p><p> </p><p>

Personally, at the moment the number 1 on my is Leion. After an ISO and reading some of day 1 he was just as defensive as Emark, he just had a nicer tone about it. </p><p> </p><p>

I find it's scum who usually can't handle a FOS or a couple votes and then resort to overly explaining/defending themselves. </p><p> </p><p>

However, as I see the value in "widening the net," along with Emark I have doubts about MLT (posting nothing of relevance, relying once again on pushing the "Day 1 Lynch" discussion).</p><p> </p><p> </p><p>

Why do you give Eliphas a pass because he said he wont be around but not one to Archer who clearly stated he is on a mountain and checking in when in "town"</p>

<p>I have skimmed and caught up to the thread. Forgive me if I ask less than intelligent questions as this is only my second game. Having just finished a game last week. </p><p> </p><p>

Couple of questions if I may?</p><p>

I had to unexpectedly cover for a coworker who came down with the flu. I had expected to sign on and see myself replaced as I had only posted the one post. Which leads me to my first question, are there not minimum posting requirements for each phase? </p><p> </p><p>

Second question, I read in the night write up that Opulent was apprehended. And now is back in the game in another role. Is that normal?</p>
