<p>Biggest thing for me is that we don't want to rush the council stuff most day phases. If we nominate someone and then they start acting super scummy (or info comes out about them), I've essentially wasted my vote and advanced scum's agenda. That isn't as big a deal day phase one, obviously. Just more of a perspective for future day phases.</p><p> </p><p>

I don't really want to self-nominate at the moment (feel like my vote could be useful if there's someone else who could use the support) but the council does feel fun so I mean, I wouldn't say no to it if people can get used to trusting me again. I'd understand if it takes a bit after my last game though, lol.</p>

<p>To be fair, the council voting happens every day phase. So even if we get one person wrong, as long as we find out about it we don't have to worry about it again after that. I never expect to live long in mafia, so I'm going to sprint into this game with all the force of the Ultimate Warrior at his worst and just wreck the scum as early as I can. It's the best thing I can do.</p><p> </p><p>

I think you might be right though DJ. Though I would be hard pressed to find the games with that as an example. I can think of Simpsons Mafia, which had a mayor.... incidentally, I also tried to become mayor there and no one voted for me. And I want to say either Lakeside or Dust? One of those?</p>

Just going by last game, didn't know her Green Lantern character and so people thought she was scum because she wasn't into the game at first. I think when everyone went "OMG, You're a Green Lantern! How Awesome!!" did she actually want to get involved.</p><p> </p><p> Just like I wouldn't say if someone wants to be on the council automatically clears them as town, as I believe a scum member would not only like to be on it, but probably do really well on the council.</p>
