I have said all along that Smackdown have the best line-up in their Main Event and Upper Mid Card ranks... But RAW aren't far behind... They have Bray, Braun, Kofi, Seth (off at the moment), AJ, and then Black, Ciampa, Andrade, Ali, and a few others... But I've decided I'm going to shake things up massively on the show!! No spoilers, just keep an eye on the next few weeks. All I'll say is that one way to handle a large roster, is STABLES!! And I plan to bring a big one to Monday Nights in the near future. Nick Miller always seemed a solid hand, but Thorne looks like a star to me. The 'Jeff Hardy' of the team if you will. As for Shelton, he could be used so much better in WWE. They should put him in a tag team with a youngster. In the past, I've had him with Apollo Crews in a WWE Diary, and now Shane Thorne. Youngsters could learn a lot from him I feel. In mine he's starting to slide so I put him with Paul Heymans stable - Brock has the Stamina of the average asthmatic child so it's as much about getting something out of both of them as anything else - they have the pop to elevate guys just by being opponents. Kacy began to say that she's been putting in extra work to try and be ready... After impressing last year, but Vannesa Borne and Aliyah turned up... Vanessa Borne: “It doesn't matter how much extra work you've been putting in darling... because SONYA (DeVille) will be winning the Women's Royal Rumble... Aliyah and I will make sure of that...” Kacy said there's no harm in her having a little warm up next week then... Against either one of Vanessa or Aliyah... A statement that angered them both...!! The Most Must-See Announcer 'The A-Lister' The Miz joined the announce team ahead of tonight's Main Event of Finn Balor versus Cesaro... Miz was furious with the way Cesaro won against him last week, stating that 'The Swiss Cyborg' is a cheat, and can't look him in the eye... Balor and Cesaro know each other well, and have fought a few times in recent months in tag team matches, but this was their first 1 on 1 encounter for 2 and a half years! Cesaro began strongly, but the referee caught him attempting to use the ropes for leverage, and he was soon on the back foot after an argument with the eagle-eyed official. For the finish, Cesaro attempted a superplex but Balor countered with some headbutts, and knocked the 'Swiss Cyborg' off the top rope and onto his back. First Cedric Alexander, then Matt Riddle, and the numbers were beginning to even out a little... But with Balor down, it was still 4 on 2... Until... Team Balor's fourth member was FINALLY revealed... And after weeks of hype about the big man's return... To a huge ovation, 'Limitless' Keith Lee ran to the ring, and bulldozed anything that moved... Adam Cole couldn't believe Finn Balor had recruited such a behemoth... The 330+ lber makes a big difference to Team Balor!! Lee pulled Riddle, Alexander, and eventually Balor to their feet, and the fan favourites stood tall in the middle of the ring as the show went off the air... They've overachieved, but I'm still a bit concerned I've given them too many 'veterans' to help fill out their roster and add some star power... As veterans go Joe, Cesaro, Lashley, Rey and Miz aren't a bad collection at all, but I may find a way to bring a couple of them out of the Main Event scene... Maybe a tag team between two of them? I'm just trying to decide which the best combination would be. Cesaro and Lashley makes sense. But Lashley is bookable right at the top as a badass heel, and I like Cesaro in the gatekeeper/workhorse singles role. Joe/Cesaro could be interesting, but I have plans for Joe too. Miz and Mysterio are odd men out really, I don't see a pairing involving those two, but I could find someone lower down the card to be their partner. If anyone has any suggestions, I'd be all ears. I'd like to eventually have a Main Event Six of Adam Cole, Johnny Gargano, Finn Balor, Bobby Lashley, and two others... Probably Samoa Joe and Matt Riddle. I could do a lot with those six. Gutted for Angelo Dawkins after tonight's injury. It was nobody's fault, he just fell awkwardly and will miss over a year. Considering surgery, but the last few times I did that it extended the recovery a couple of times. It leaves my boy Montez Ford as a solo talent, which I don't see as a problem. At least the better worker is the one to stick around. I don't think you should pair any of those main eventers if it isn't Joe and Cesaro, in all honesty. Cesaro/Mysterio both do the 619, but that isn't enough haha. I think you'd be better off pairing Rey with one of the cruiserweights from 205 instead. Raul Mendoza, Joaquin Wilde, Angel Garza?
