Ziggler and Roode laughed to themselves... but then came the reveal... The name they will use going forward is:

They said it was the perfect name, as they look to dethrone the team of Rowan and Harper (Damnation) in their Triple Threat Tag Title Match at Extreme Rules...

 

 

Jey and Jimmy Uso headed to the ring following the comments of the 'Acts of God', and laughed at the pomp and circumstance!!

Zayn fake laughed... He went as far as dropping to the floor and rolling!! Then he got serious, and told Bryan to be careful what he wished for...

 

He began to walk to the ring, but then stopped, and said he'd see Bryan NEXT WEEK... and it won't be quick at all!!

To end the show tonight, Roman Reigns and Randy Orton headed to the ring to sign contracts for their Extreme Rules Match...

 

They each stood either side of a table, and picked up a microphone... Orton spoke first...

 

Randy Orton:

“Roman... You were picked a whole three rounds ahead of me, man... But at Extreme Rules, I'm going to leapfrog you... and show the higher-ups at Smackdown that it should be ME fighting for World Championships... and I'm going to do it... With the three most destructive letters in Sports Entertainment... R... K... O...!!”

 

Orton signed the contract... and then turned it around to face Reigns... glaring at the strong Samoan...

 

Reigns glared back... and told the former 13-time World Champion that his days at the top are numbered...

 

Roman Reigns:

“You've had your run Randy... It's time for you to step aside, and let the new generation to step up... If you won't do it yourself, I'll MAKE you do it...”

 

Reigns signed the contract, and as he placed the pen down, Orton tipped the table up aggressively, and into Reigns' face!!

 

He tackled Reigns at the waist, and took the big man down... then began reigning down fists...

 

Orton set up a table in the corner, and the crowd cheered... They love tables...

 

Then suddenly, Reigns exploded out of the opposite corner, and SPEARED Orton through the table!!

 

The show went off the air with a wounded 'Big Dog' holding his ribs, but celebrating getting one over on his rival...

Overall, I've been really happy with Smackdown since I started this... The Main Event Big Four of Roman, Bryan, Orton and Lesnar are majorly over. You then have Zayn, Owens, Nakamura (who got hurt), McIntyre and Ricochet knocking at the door of the Main Event scene. The tag team division includes The Usos, Harper and Rowan, and Roode and Ziggler... Then Charlotte Flair, Shayna Baszler and Toni Storm make a great trio in the women's division... I haven't even mentioned Velveteen Dream and Chad Gable too!! It's an excellent roster!! And there's more to come too... Some big debuts coming at Extreme Rules... Here's the poster:

In my save, I saw an opportunity for two Breakout Tournament competitors to form an exciting young tag team. Myles and Swerve Scott would make a great babyface duo, and I have/had plans for them. So my question is:

 

1). Do I release Myles?

2). Do I keep him around on RAW?

 

The reason I ask is two-fold. One, I don't want him being around to hurt Swerve Scott, because I'm a big fan of his too. And Two, I could always have less wrestlers. The shows already have huge rosters, so anyone I can release is a good thing I think.

Ahh sorry man. You can please some of the people, all of the time, and all of the people, some of the time. But not all of the people, all of the time. Or something like that!

 

Since you mentioned them, let's go through them one by one and I'll explain my rationale...

 

Dana Brooke: Always liked her to be honest, but she's been buried on TV for years and I don't really have anywhere to go with her. I considered a manager role, as she was decent as a manager in my last save (for The Ascension) but I ultimately decided to let her go.

 

Mandy Rose: I don't know what it is about Mandy Rose. I think she seems like she'd be a bit of a diva backstage. Demanding, high maintenance, snobby, maybe rude. I don't know. Maybe I'm just seeing her heel persona. I think in real life she could be very good one day, but she'll never be as over as a Sasha, Charlotte, Becky, Mia Yim, Shayna, and plenty of others. Almost too good to be a jobber in a way.

 

Sarah Logan: Known as 'Logan' here as she's teaming up with her hubby and his friend (Erik and Ivar) in the group: 'The Viking Raiders'. The group may even grow soon too - watch this space. If I let her go, her husband is upset, but if I let her be a manager and occasional wrestler, then happy days.

 

Liv Morgan: Forgot I kept her around, I had to check! She hasn't actually had a match since the diary began but she's on RAW and is young enough to improve dramatically. I heard a rumour recently that she shaved her head, so she's either got a cool new gimmick coming up, or she's completely lost the plot!! I could work with either of these outcomes in the game!
