Been running some sims and even though BHOTWG has more than enough people on their roster for the minimums, they still go on a hiring spree for Juniors at the game start. So if anyone has suggestions for workers there that would be great. Could be veterans being cycled out to make way for a new generation, unspectacular people in their mid years who aren't likely to go anywhere and younger workers who haven't made much of a mark yet. :)

I found and cut a Dragonite mask as a tribute to the CV97-creator. I applied it (poorly :p) to 2 workers recently posted in the render thread that looked a little... too familiar. :p (I know they're not Japanese but they look old and it's BHOTWG so...)

Here's the mask in case someone else wants it.

I doubt Pokemon was a thing in the C-verse. Otherwise, there must've been some gimmick by now. :p

<p>Was going to post these pics as part of a mix & match tag team set, but seem useful now. </p><p> </p><p>

Yokosuka BOY (32) Skinny Lightweight ~ Plays Underdog Well, Can't Play Bad Ass</p><p>

Once the epitome of the baby faced, underdog young boy babyface, Yokosuka is now on the wrong side of 30 and struggling to redefine himself. A career of mostly getting his ass kicked has given him good selling, but little else. Needs a new gimmick, but what? </p><p> </p><p>

VILE (24) Lightweight ~ Better As Heel, Noted Comedy Match Performer, Not a Natural, </p><p>

Overshadowed in the high flying department by his more athletic peers, Susumu Horiguchi leans on good looks, charisma, and almost cartoonish levels of cheating to stand out. Rebranding himself VILE, a disrespectful young punk, it's starting to work. </p><p> </p><p>

Kanji Kimata (26) Lightweight ~ Prickly, Fat Genes, Itchy Feet</p><p>

Son of a sumo wrestler, Kanji has spent his young career fighting an inevitable slide into following in his father's footsteps. An explosive, hard hitting Junior Heavyweight who lacks charisma and flashiness.</p>

... and here are a bunch of guys who could be rookies or graduates. Or mixed into tag teams fairly easily.

qXMWakN.jpgK9Hc2oV.jpg3i7XmAM.jpgvZv6tSK.jpgPaE0xF9.jpgNTkftMl.jpg

Dreamboat (Graduate) Middleweight ~ Grifter, Fame Hungry, Horndog

A handsome youngster attempting to sleep his way to superstardom. Not without potential, if he focused on wrestling, and not his latest get-famous-quick scheme, he might grow into a solid worker. Bisexual. High Sex Appeal. Low psychology. Possibly modelling and/or in a band for maximum flightiness.

Dustin Velour (Graduate) Middleweight ~ Needy, Has a Temper, Can't Play Bad Ass

A fairly average all-round prospect, Dustin was constantly overshadowed by his fellow students during training. Knowing he wouldn't stand out on skills alone, he has reluctantly agreed to follow in his Uncle Dexter's footsteps (see below) taking on the Velour name and gimmick. The pink hair is getting him noticed, but Dustin isn't as comfortable with the negative attention (1997 folks) as his Uncle was, and has dreams beyond being just a job guy.

Rocket Kaboom (Graduate) Lightweight ~ Irrepressible, Explosive Ring Style, Risk Taker

Some say he's name for his explosive personality. Others say it's for his habit of crashing and burning when he attempts something a little too ambitious. A high flyer who dreams too big, leading to at least one botch per match when his needlessly high risk offense fails to pay off. Great flashiness. Meh aerial. Poor consistency. Poor psychology. Classic Spot Monkey.

Jasper Donnolly (Graduate) Lightweight ~ Relaxed, Extremely Old School, Skinny Genes

An self proclaimed old soul, Jasper Donnolly doesn't even own a TV, preferring to study his craft from vintage textbooks on old European grappling techniques. A strong technical prospect, his all-around game is stunted by his refusal to learn modern basics like punching and running the ropes. Good technical & consistency. Poor everything else.

Smart Alec (Graduate). Lightweight ~ Troublemaker, Plays Weasel Well. Outside Interests,

Armed with a large vocabulary and punchable face, Smart Alec shows a lot of promise as a smarmy heel. With an easy job in his father's law firm waiting for him, he plans to wrestle for a few years and get out before he hurts himself. Surprisingly good hardcore skills. Crowds REALLY like to see him bleed.

Pesky (Graduate) Very Small ~ Lively, Loves The Business, Not a Natural

Initially turned away from the local training school for being too small, "Pesky" soon earned his name by showing up anyway, week after week, repeatedly finding new ways to sneak inside. Eventually allowed to train when he tracked down the trainer's home address, Pesky earned a spot through guts and determination, and is ready to pester his way into any promotion he can weasel his way into. Probably a kinda-okay high flyer, with low resilience. He's not built for this.

If they were to be sorted into teams, I'd have The Cutie Pies (Dreamboat & Velour) The Fringe (Rocket & Jasper) and The Critics (Smart Alec and Roving Reporter Pesky). To give Dustin more context...

Dexter Velour (40+) Skinny Middleweight ~ People Person, Loves the Business, Giving Performer, Skinny Genes

A classic 80's job guy, with pigeon chest and skinny arms. Dexter's career has barely been worth a mention, with only a single appearance getting squashed on (insert relevant promotion) TV in the 80's to his name. He shows the tape with pride every Christmas, whether it's requested or not. Loves the business, and is thrilled that his nephew is carrying on his "legacy". Maybe he has a thing or two to show the whippersnapper. Solid basics & selling. Nothing special top row (did he ever get any offense?). 100 experience and likely good psychology... but no respect. A never was, only relevant while his nephew is around.

Also, here are some alts.

Hopefully the new attributes get used here. I reckon Rocky "Golden" could use the Golden mane, but especially the more impactful ones like (That doesn't work for me, brother) could make games interesting.

The long waiting has kinda killed the hype I had for playing TEW20 thoroughly, so I guess we can wait some more. Take all the time you need. :p

Hey, just checking in on the thread since my last post to give an update.

Work has been progressing slowly due to real life being busy and wanting to get some game time in on other games with my friends. I know.. friends? I'm as shocked as anyone that I have some of them but it seems I do somehow. About 25% to 30% of yet to debut workers have been completed (it's hard to be accurate) with the first 5 years of yet to debut workers done. I'll be making use of all the attributes Adam has added, though I've yet to touch the road agent and broadcast team specific ones yet. I'll also be considering the products he added too to see if any of those are particularly well suited to existing and yet to debut companies.

The worst thing at the moment is that I've pretty much played zero actual TEW20 since the game released... I've tested, I've done loads of sims, but I've not got any proper games going for me yet. The main one I plan to play is with the default data but I've got my eye on a CV97 save too.... but I don't want to start playing because I want to get the mod out... but getting the mod out feels like more work... it'll get there but I'm having trouble focusing on it when I've got so many other things I want to do too. This is the first time in a long time it's felt like work and that's just down to everything else going on in real life these days. Once it's done, it'll be soooo good and I'm excited to use it as a base for another mod too, but it's all the extra work I'm putting in just now to get it right that is just adding more and more little things for me to do before I'm happy with it.

I'm not a perfectionist in real life, but I'm starting to feel like I am here. :p

I've gotten lucky a few times as HGC and got him clean in rehab. He returned as Rip Chord's protege in his horseman like stable.

That's always the dream scenario. That kid is money, except for his demons. Also have a soft spot for Joel Kovach and Archangel. All that talent, stuck to a company run by a leech.

Going to take longer than planned due to feeling burned out, but now that I'm getting some game time in and actually playing proper TEW20 games at last, I'm recharging those batteries. I'm not going to put an ETA on CV97 just now as I get back towards modding.

The mod will get there, it's still a work in progress with a good chunk of the work already done, but it's going to take longer than intended. :)
