[RELEASE] Real World Chronicles 2024

Recommended Posts

I experimented a bit with the AI booking of lesser/tour events in NJPW:

- "All 3 vs 3" / "All 4 vs 4" / etc. seems to work as intended and keeps the overall grade down in the 75-80 region

- "Main Event 3 vs 3" / "Main Event 4 vs 4" doesn't seem to work, AI still books singles matches with top guys in the final 2 or 3 matches

- Any sort of Brand Split doesn't work, as the AI immediately cancels the split

Conclusion:

For the moment, it seems the only solution is to set all lesser/tour events in NJPW to "All 3vs3/4vs4/5vs5/". For some events (e.g. Best of the Super Juniors or New Japan Cup) this doesn't make sense, as the entire reason of the event is to hold singles competition (AI books the entire BOTSJ tournament in a single event). But for some events (e.g. all the "Road to..." events) it would be the best option to set them to "tour" and either "All 3v3" or "All 4v4", maybe the occasional "All 5v5" or "All 2v2" sprinkled in.

Glad this mod is still continuing. Some things about NWA.

Alicia Atout works for MLW not NWA. NWA's interviewers who aren't already in the data are Kyle Durden and Sean Mooney

Homicide was just on their Inside NWA podcast and said he was injured so that's why he hasn't appeared. He should be added to the roster.

Tommy Mercer / Crimson works backstage for NWA, so that might solve the road agent issue.

Konley should also still be on the NWA roster.

In regards to IMPACT

I'm pretty sure Caleb Konley is Suicide not Zachary Wentz. Either way the suit that is currently in use is Konley's suit.

I agree konley is suicide since it is perfect timing for impact. He resigned with impact then bam suicide was back on tv.

Anyway at this point suicide can be a indy roster of names. The tna videogame created suicide which was the best thing about the game. Unless you count the engine created games (impact, aaa game, and wwe allstars were the same engine). I still say suicide is better than those games too.

I wonder if a happy medium for those would be to have *most* of the stuff like BOSJ/G1 be 3v3 and then leave the last 2-5 nights for singles stuff? So they aren't putting out 20 shows with top crazy 1v1s, but they can still pull the good ratings in for the "finale" events of the tour.

I was convinced Zachary Wentz was now portraying the Suicide character. According to Cagematch.com though , it was Konley who was credited with Suicides most recent matches in Impact.

<p><p>With regards to how the AI act, I don't think there is much you can do to counter it. You either have to go the (unrealistic) route of every match being 6 man tag matches on tours, which still isn't going to stop them getting good show results, or you leave it the way it is and have the AI fly off into the stratosphere.</p><p> </p><p></p><p>

One of the things with creating these Real World mods is, you need to make compromises because the game is not designed to 100% simulate the real world so something is always going t be slightly off, especially how the AI books.</p></p>

I noticed a few issues in my game:

- La Chica Yeyé is set as male

- Trish Stratus's sex appeal, star quality and other stats seem too high

- Shinsuke Nakamura's stats seem too high (namely star quality)

- Road Warrior Animal, set as Retired wrestler

- Jake Roberts, set as Retired wrestler

- Brutus Beefcake, set as Retired wrestler

- Jacques Rougeau Jr., set as Retired wrestler

Just got the mod, and it seems great! Full of promotions but also really detailed and for the most part pretty accurate! Just wanted to mention some stuff I've noticed so far that could be fixed:

BJW:

Koji Kanemoto is a freelancer who doesn't work for BJW that much

STRONG HEARTS aren't really part of BJW, El Lindaman is there a good amount but Cima and T-Hawk really prioritize OWE a lot more, for this save I'd only put them in DDT where they tend to appear more frequently

Hideki Suzuki has seemingly left BJW entirely, and now only works for NOAH

Jake Lee, Taishi Takizawa, and Yoshiki Inamura only appeared for the recent STRONG CLIMB tournament, they don't really work for BJW outside of that

Orca Uto is a freelancer(announced he left BJW in April)

GCW:

Brett Lauderdale's picture is of a different Brett Lauderdale

Danny Demanto doesn't work with GCW anymore

Adrian Quest, Masada, and Saieve Al Sabah are freelancers

Takashi Sasaki and Isami Kodaka don't really work for GCW, they only appeared for them once besides their japan shows

Zero1:

Chris Dickinson, Koji Kanemoto, Matthew Justice, Shigehiro Irie, Shuji Kondo, Takumi Baba, and Takashi Sugiura don't work for Zero1

That's really all I've noticed, again I really enjoy the mod and can't say enough how much I appreciate the effort! Later on, if you can add BASARA or 2AW then I would be forever grateful:D

<p>Very much enjoying this thus far. Minor stuff from me.</p><p> </p><p>

I believe Lindsay Snow should be set to be Dating Shannon Moore, as that's who he left his wife for <img alt=":p" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/tongue.png.ceb643b2956793497cef30b0e944be28.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> </p><p>

Fuka, Debra Micelli, Taryn Terrell should all probably be set to Retired or Non-Wrestler. <img alt=":)" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/smile.png.142cfa0a1cd2925c0463c1d00f499df2.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> </p><p>

Just some suggestions on my end also:</p><p>

Diamond Steele from Reg. Wrestler to Entertainer</p><p>

Zicky Dice from Reg. Wrestler to Entertainer</p><p>

Peter Avalon from Reg. Wrestler to Entertainer</p><p>

Sean Maluta from Technician to Technician Striker</p><p>

Buddy Murphy from Reg. Wrestler to Technician Striker?</p><p>

Hanson from Reg. Wrestler to Powerhouse or Impactful</p><p> </p><p>

There are a handful of others, but I'm not sure what I should or shouldn't weigh in on. Maybe Bram should be Brawler instead of Regular Wrestler? Roman Reigns isn't a Powerhouse to me, but I guess he does just tear through opponents.. <img alt="" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/confused.png.d4a8e6b6eab0c67698b911fb041c0ed1.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> </p><p>

I believe Cathy Kelly has left NXT and WWE altogether.</p><p>

Will Ferrara should definitely still be contracted with ROH, I think Fleisch removed him for balancing? He is a trainer at their Dojo, and works most of their live events, filling in anytime someone is sick or unexpectedly hurt.</p><p>

Fandango came back from injury on this past week's NXT.</p><p>

Victoria Gonzalez's name in NXT is set to Reina Gonzalez, but she has been going by Raquel González.</p><p>

Not sure if you want it updated, but since you have Dijak on the main roster, Fantasma should be Cruiserweight Champion. <img alt="" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/eek.png.0e09df00fa222c85760b9bc1700b5405.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p>

<p>Finally had the time to take a quick look into the mod, looks pretty good so far <img alt=":)" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/smile.png.142cfa0a1cd2925c0463c1d00f499df2.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> </p><p>

One thing that needs to be changed: FTR actually have a non-exclusive handshake agreement with AEW, no written contract.</p>

Running into a problem when playing NJPW:

The smaller shows (e.g. Kizuna Road Day 2) are set as 'Tour', thus they won't be televised at all, not even on NJPW World. In reality all shows are shown on NJPW World but the game doesn't let you put 'Tour' shows on TV, only 'Normal' and 'Lesser' shows can be shown on TV.

This leads to 2 possibilities:

- simply accept that all those 'Tour' shows are not on TV, even though they are in real life.

- change all 'Tour' shows to 'Lesser' shows, which would make them TV-eligible.

Any other solutions to this?

Yes they should all be set as Lesser shows, simply because that's the closest way NJPW's schedule is represented in the game mechanics.

Set up a deal with NJPW World to broadcast tour highlights, apart from that there's no way around it. That was something I forgot to put in the data.

Given the choice between the shows not being broadcast live and the shows being eligible for higher pop gains and ludicrous attendances, I'm taking the former every time. If everything was set to Lesser, that'd be unbelievably OP.

Would be nice if TEW could give us one more option - something between 'Lesser' and 'Tour' (maybe being able to book 'Throwaway' shows would do it).</p><p> </p><p> Also it would be great if TEW had the option of weight restrictions for events to replicate something like NJPW Best of the Super Juniors or WWE 205 Live.</p>
