I'd actually agree with Morti, and i'm allowed to because I created the original Scythe render. ;)

The original Scythe render was created about 14 years ago when the models and textures were not as good as those available now. It's essentially no different to seeing how bad special effects in movies were back then compared to the modern day.

Good to meet you! Do you have an explanation as to why Adam kept yours in when making the character a more viable threat too?

But regardless, it's incredible that you created renders that long ago! I was 6 years old 14 years ago!

You are the pioneer!

Though this one would've been easy to replace because of the mask, I think a lot of people get attached to some of the old renders that - let's face it - are still good. It's just because of the advancements in that field that you can make better ones. Because of the low format, it's not really a big deal as the details aren't visible anyway.

Yeah the ones like Tommy makes sense so I get those, but Scythe didnt became a major character until this game. So I only wonder about that one

At the risk of sounding like a negative nancy (...again) but for the benefit of the many lurkers who venture in these parts: is there any reason nobody posts their renders on the C-verse blue anymore? For me personally: I don't care. I know my way around GIMP and have the blue in a shortcut so it takes me mere seconds, but I know for a fact a lot of people struggle to convert these. So could you please post these too? It would make sense that you actually use your own renders (I don't always use mine though :p) so it makes sense you did the work already.

It also would makes sense if you'd post GIF's for the FINishers out there who love that feature, but PNG's ain't helping most of the visitors here who appreciate these renders. I assume several of them aren't going to come in and ask for them after reading multiple times that "requests are being frowned upon", so I'm just going to say it.

I don't put anything on a bg so that people can put it on any bg they want. I know of people who use renders in RW mods and those have vastly different bgs

I guess that's fair. It's a choice between making it convenient for the many, or not excluding the few. Too bad you get that quality loss when posting a GIF.

We obviously don't have numbers here and a poll might just give an idea, but I assume the vast majority uses the default blue. I had the feeling in TEW that I (and FIN for sure :p) was one of the few who used GIF's, being used to it from the WMMA series. The amount of people using renders in real world mods: I have no idea, but I assume most use "real" people as freeworkers.

I actually tried figuring out how to attach the blue background to a picture last night and was unsuccessful. Is this something that can be done using Paint or Paint 3D, or do I need different software to do it?</p>
