shamelessposer
Currently I have a Main Title, Secondary Title and Tag Titles. I am looking to make a sort of "gimmick" title that could be a floating level title that has rules and style that are more than just "Hardcore" or "High Flying" any ideas? My product is No-Style Style so nothing is off limits. How about a "Show Stealer" belt with a ten minute time limit? Every title match is a sprint. Koholos
I have a gimmick idea, but I want to give it to a face so I’d like some help tweaking it - The wrestler is a smart, skilled wrestler but pretends to be goofy and clueless. As part of that, he “sells” that the moves he takes are actually hurting him even though he doesn’t actually let himself get punched or kicked. And then he wins every match through what appears to be an accidental rollup or quick pin. The problem is, while I can see the pretending to be a goofball getting over as a babyface, the actual method and tactic seems pretty heelish. Any way to tweak it to be a bit more heroic? ArcheoOutOfNowhere
Hey guys ! I'm currently doing a challenge with a friend of mine where each other gives a former stable and a couple of former NXT gimmicks to the other to push: the stable must become a big deal (as in "The Bloodline" or "Hurt Business" big: one guy wins the main title eventually, and the others win the secondary titles/tag titles/whatever is available) while the NXT gimmicks (that can be used by the same guys or new hirings) have to be used regularly but the rocket push isn't mandatory. While I was a bit nice with him, giving him Retribution as the Stable and as far as NXT gimmick goes, Nikki Cross crazyness, the "Leo Kruger" gimmick and a "Perfect 10" type of gimmick, my friend on the other hand was a bit harsher. I now have to make Lucha House Party into a legendary stable (that is, if they even agree to sign back...) and find workers that will incarnate the gimmicks of Lars Sullivan, Jack Gallagher and The Velveteen Dream. Now that you have the context, here's where I need your help: while I can think of a way to make Lucha House Party relevant, I have no idea who I can hire in January 2022 to replace those three others. Obviously, there is no way I'll hire them back, but I don't know who could play their gimmicks. I could always just pick a random big guy for Sullivan (or even just bring back Killian Dain, although I'm open to other suggestions), but an old-time cruiserweight gentleman and a 2022 version of Prince ? Yeah, no clue at all. So, if by any chance you have an idea on who I could hire/bring up from NXT (even if they have zero pop, as long as they are more or less as talented in the ring -or more, obviously- than the 3), I'd be really grateful ! Ippon
Trent Seven or Tyler Bate could pull of the Gallagher gimmick, if they’re not already doing a better version of it. Nick Comoroto could be a good pick up for the Sullivan gimmick. Struggling for suggestion with Dream though as it was so well done by him that anyone else would like a poor mans equivalent. Dalton Castle would be my best shout. As for repackaging Lucha House Party, turning them Rudos could really help shed the jobber feel to them. awesomenessofme1
I used an incredible render I found in the CVerse Rerender thread to create a Santa Claus character, and I'm struggling to think of a good finisher. Both name and the actual move. It's not that I can't think of anything at all, it's just that I know there's a great joke or pun out there, and I can't think of any. Mandible Claus The Milk & Cookie Cutter Sweet Chimney Music Spinning Mistletoe Hold Flying Elfbow Jingle Bell Rock Bottom That’s off top of my head. TheCed
Playing New Japan in 1999 as Keiji Mutoh in a scenario where he never went to AJPW and Inoki never took control of the company. New Japan was purchased by Bandai in 1998 and look forward to an agressive global expansion. I managed to get Shawn Michaels, made him win the G1 and gave him the title at Wrestle Kingdom. Now here I am on year 2, as my eyes are set on Jericho, Benoit and Eddie Guerrero's contracts expiring in a couple months. I opened the forbidden door and got WCW in it who's going strong against WWF who just re-signed Vince Russo. I only got NWO Japan as my stable right now and look forward to create some more as modern day New Japan. Any ideas?
ArcheoOutOfNowhere
For LHP, just repackage Fantasma’s stable. Harland can be your new Lars, Carmelo Hayes can be your new Dream, and Morgan Webster can be your new Gallagher. Well, I need to use the original workers in the stable, so Kalisto, Gran Metalik and Lince Dorado. However, I can add people to it, but not make them more important than the original members unfortunately. I honestly had forgotten about Harland, but it might be a bit too early for me to use him on the main roster. Still, an interesting suggestion, I'll have to think about it because he does fit a lot, despite his abysmal Mic and Acting skills ! Carmelo Hayes could work, although for now I'm not super convinced he has the IT factor that Dream had. Not to sound harsh, but character wise I find him (for what I've seen, I don't really follow NXT 2.0 all that much) a bit of a copy of Isaiah Scott. Who I suppose could also be a decent pick for the gimmick, but also lacks the "Flamboyant" part I'm searching for. As for Webster, I'm interested to know what made you think about him, actually, because I'd never have thought about him and now I'm wondering if I've missed something important haha Trent Seven or Tyler Bate could pull of the Gallagher gimmick, if they’re not already doing a better version of it. Actually, I had thought about Bate ! But I like the team together, even if ultimately Bate will have to one day be on his own since Seven is much older than he is. So for now I'm hoping to find someone else, but I might end up choosing him nonetheless. My other pick would be Aiden English, but since he's already well known by the fans, it'd be a bit disappointing to have him start from scratch. Comoroto is definitely going on the candidates list ! However, with his AEW contract it'd be difficult to get him, so he won't be my first choice for now. Uh, Dalton Castle didn't really cross my mind, but now that you mention it, I could see it... Maybe not a Prince-like, but he certainly does know how to play Flamboyant characters...

CQI13
Trying to stay away from WWE-style booking for tag teams, where popular teams get split up when one partner turns on the other. While that does work (at times) I don't want to do it every time. For example, I would like to split up a team in a way where maybe 6 to 9 months later the partners can team up again for 2 months to take on a common enemy. Not everything has to be Shawn Michaels/Marty Jannetty.

For example, I would like to split up a team in a way where maybe 6 to 9 months later the partners can team up again for 2 months to take on a common enemy. Not everything has to be Shawn Michaels/Marty Jannetty. How about both members make a genuinely friendly wager to see who can capture a singles title first (was gonna say world title, but figured they may still be a secondary title level in game). And they make a pact that the first to do so promises the first shot at the title to the other. Have them regularly meet up to hype each other for matches, check out each other’s progress and generally cheer them on. Then when one finally captures a title, quash the eventual turn we’re all conditioned to expect by having two other contenders take issue that they’re handing out title shots to their friends who ‘haven’t earned it’. Possible routes after that: - The tag partner and two contenders end up in a 3-way number 1 contenders feud with the eventual tag match coming near the end of the feud - The champ proposes a tag match - if he and his old partner win he gets the shot. If they win he’ll defend against both of them in a triple threat - The two other contenders make life hell for the champ and his buddy tries his best to watch his back. Ultimately he’s unable to stop them despite his best efforts and the champ loses his title to a 5th wrestler not part of the story thanks to their interference. This then leads to the eventual grudge tag match. Could even have the other team become tag champs prior to this and have the original team get one last run at the belts before eventually going their separate ways again
ArcheoOutOfNowhere
That's fair enough, actually. I mean, it's the same reason I've thought about Bate for the role, so I can't blame you. Back on the topic, I've had a couple new suggestions from other places for every role, so if anyone has arguments for/against them, feel free to share, as well as new suggestions ! Lars Sullivan gimmick: Big Damo (aka Killian Dain), Harland, Dylan James, KTB, Madman Fulton, Nick Comoroto, Odinson, Schaff Jack Gallagher: Tyler Bate, Aiden English, Simon Gotch, Tristan Archer (Clement Petiot during the CWC) Weber Hatfield, Gentleman Jervis The Velveteen Dream: Dalton Castle, Shane "Swerve" Strickland, Carmelo Hayes, Ace Austin, Effy, Jay Lethal Update on this, for those curious: I finally went with Fulton (and Odinson as a back-up that might be used in a viking-themed tag team to replace the War Raiders) for the Lars Sullivan gimmick, Dalton Castle as the obvious choice for The Dream, and I settled on Weber Hatfield so I wouldn't feel too guilty if the Gentleman gimmick doesn't work. Plus, I have a fondness for him from a precedent run as a small company, so... On the other hand, I know have a new problem ! Because we had completly forgotten to add a challenge for the women (or, well, my friend did), we picked a new thing to do: each of us gave the other a retired worker that needs to be re-used into a new role. I went with a man (since I gave Nikki Cross as a challenge already), namely The Boogeyman, and he picked for me Kelly Kelly. So, anyone has an idea on what I can have her do ? I'm authorised to modify her profile a bit (like, giving her Referee or Announcing skills) but only if she has done a decent job at it while she was still working regularly in WWE. I honestly don't remember if she was ever a guest at the announce table or a guest referee, I certainly have no use for her as a manager and I can't see her as a GM so... yeah, feel free to suggest stuff. Give her a Paris Hilton-esque lifestyle GURU gimmick where she helps jobbers repackage themselves, but it usually just results in them changing their name to be the first name repeated, for example: Drew Drew (Drew Gulak). awesomenessofme1
Jase Cole and Christopher Lister's blatant Star Wars-ripoff alternate renders seemed really fun to me in a game I'm starting, but then I actually looked at the characters in game, and they're old, Australian, and honestly not all that great. I was going to make her a color commentator because I learned she had gone to a journalism school before her wrestling carreer, but honestly, I'm super tempted to have her as a lifestyle influencer (which would also fit her real life work) and do just what you suggested.
