Even after the initial fed raid, they still had millions of dollars. Currently, they're sitting at just about $250k, give or take a few thousand. Maybe you should have used some of the money to invest in that new-fangled computer streaming that the kids like that you probably think is destroying the business?</p><p> </p><p>

I'm torn between offering them a cash boost or some other help and waiting to see how deep a hole they dig themselves and if that will lead to them cutting some of their female talent.</p>

Got to Superbrawl 3. By avoiding the White Castle of Fear Strap Match nonsense my Vader vs. Sting Main Event managed to score a 96. Had Warrior (managed to sign him) do a run-in to protect Sting from the postmatch Vader beatdown to introduce him to the WCW fans. Also on the show, Roddy Piper cut a hell of a promo (brought him in), and Mr. Perfect wrestled a goddamn CLINIC with Ricky Steamboat.

 

Piper's promo wasn't as good as the 99 (!!!) promo he cut with Flair on WCW Saturday night though. Goddamn.

Just in the first two weeks, AEW released a bunch of wrestlers. So my new medium sized startup wrestling company snagged up the Young Bucks, MJF, Marq Quen. </p><p> </p><p>

WWE was not done releasing people either. Here comes Seth Rollins and Rey Mysterio. Oddly enough, after they released a bunch of people, they started calling up a bunch of people from NXT and NXT UK. Walter was kicked out of his stable and lost his title. John Cena won Money In the Bank.</p><p> </p><p>

Between those, and the contract renewals from the big ones, I've got a pretty good roster. From free agency, I got Gallows and Anderson, Rouge, Nia Jax (I only bid on her to drive her price up for WWE, but I still got her. Not sure what I'm gonna do with her), Ronda Rousey, Tetsyua Naito, and Dragon Lee. I hired both CM Punk and Buddy Garner and talked them out of retirement. I learned during the BETA to hire someone BEFORE you try talking them out of retirement. It's a lot easier and cheaper to pay someone as a road agent or personality, than as an active wrestler. Just be sure to negotiate the contract to include "Whatever is needed" under the role. </p><p> </p><p>

On the sad news front, Catherine Quine died in a freak car accident. If I recall she was impaled by something. Ted DiBiase also died</p>

I'm still trying to figure out what I'm doing wrong booking wise. But I started with WWE, and every single week multiple people were taken to wrestlers court, I have so many morale issues going on right now, and even people who aren't wrestlers were mad about being left off shows. I actually put Vince McMahon in a segment where hes one of like 4 people breaking up an altercation just to get him on TV.

Emma Chase died pretty much immediately in January of this new game, and Eric wasted no time in inducting his fiance into the SWF hall of fame.

 

MASSIVE UPDATE

 

I did a search of new relationships just to see how the game world's shaping up, and it turns out that by March Kristen Pearce was already giving interviews stating that she had been dating Eisen "for a short while." I don't want to be paranoid, but I definitely suspect foul play on at least one of their parts!

Tommy Cornell's contract came up very early in my save. I'm playing as TCW and was considering signing him but he wouldn't even entertain the negotiation as the company was too small for him. He has signed with USPW for a mammoth contract and then, on his very last day in 21CW, Main Evented a PPV in a 98-rated match against Edward Cornell, going out watching the lights.

 

I also enjoyed seeing USPW aggressively hire Harry Allen (42 years old, 42 pop, very average skills) because I used him as a local worker, saw he had good tag chemistry with Elliot Thomas and thought: "Eh, I'll give him a handshake deal and they can work as a jobber tag team." USPW saw that handshake deal and decided they immediately had to hire the suddenly VERY sought-after Harry Allen for a 2-year, 12K a month contract!
