<p class="cwa-p-nmt">Based on everyone's predictions, this was a pay-per-view with quite a few surprising results, and I'm really happy with that! Granted, some of them came about by pretty shady or otherwise unexpected means - Bloodstone destroying the DeColts or The Dynamite Express simply walking out on Thunder & Lightning - but some of the matches apparently were simply hard to predict, like the main event. Skip Beau not winning the opener also was kind of a surprise, but I've got other plans for him than challenging the Television champion, right now.</p>

<p class="cwa-p-nm">Nobody made the right call concerning Sean McFly's opponent, even though a few of you were very close and actually chose the tag team partner of Mighty Cavanagh. No style scores for that one, but still, the idea was the right one. I actually was torn between those two, but finally went with Cavanagh because, in my mind, he has the more "dangerous" aura to him and that was precisely what I needed for this match.</p>

<p class="cwa-p-nm">By the way, I've decided to also count the pre-show predictions for pay-per-views. After all, they also count for the Pick Your Wrestler contest because they're actually seen as relevant in the CWA, so it only makes sense.</p>

<p class="cwa-p-nmb">I also want to explain the reason behind some of the results. First of all, the Women's Championship match. I really would've liked the feud between Allen and Snow to go on for a bit longer, but unfortunately, the two of them have abyssmal chemistry when wrestling each other, so it simply wasn't worth it. Snow also is dragged down significantly by the two other members of the Queen's Court in segments because Conroy and Young are both not really popular. She'll continue to play a major role, but for now, I can't put the title on her. Generation Z got the loss because, let's be honest, they're absolutely not ready to be a major focus of the main shows yet. Their ratings are pretty bad because they're still really green, and I'd rather have them improve their skills for some time, which is why they got beaten pretty decisively by The Brothers Cain.</p>

<p class="cwa-p-nmt">Jared Johnson is the big winner of the pay-per-view thanks to his victory over the two DeColt brothers who are higher up the card than he is. Most of the other points were actually collected in the pre-show, with Vessey being the only exception.</p>

<p class="cwa-p-nmb">Thanks to the roster now being updated again (after this post), Johnson is back in the uppercard and takes the lead right there. That means that David Stone is the undercard leader again even though he hasn't officially wrestled for weeks due to the storyline he's involved in. Laura Flame, of course, is the best female wrestler, partly because there's no competition whatsoever.</p>

<li><b>Lightning Lomas</b> picked up a minor injury ahead of the pay-per-view as he suffered a Strained Bicep while wrestling a house show. Fortunately, it didn't take more than a few days to heal and he was already back at 100 % for the pay-per-view.</li>

<li><b>Lauren Easter</b> took a huge stunt bump at the end of her match with Brooke Tyler at Winter War, crashing through a set of cameras after being tossed off the entrance stage. While evoking a huge crowd reaction, it didn't leave her completely unharmed as she suffered a Fractureed Cheek Bone. Luckily, the injury probably won't fully take her out of action.</li>

<li>Speaking of the pay-per-view, Winter War was a massive success for the CWA and brought the company a lot of attention. The feeling is that one or two more pay-per-views of this quality could result in a huge rise in popularity.</li>

<li>The contract of <b>Jessica Conroy</b> has recently been extended. Acting as one of the members of The Queen's Court, the young woman is regarded as one of the potential future stars of the company. At only 20 years of age, she definitely has time on her side and will surely continue to be featured regularly in the main shows.</li>

<li>Business insiders think that the <b>SWF</b> might soon be forced to go on a firing spree. After Supreme TV has been moved to a worse time slot and due to the ratings being rather lackluster, it's said that even a few main eventers could leave the company in the near future. Whether or not this is true remains to be seen.</li>

Westybrook IS a bigger deal indeed, he also has significantly more popularity than Cavanagh, but the latter just seemed like the better fit for this role, being convinced by Christian Price to wrestle one fight for him. As long as they're not signed to a written contract anywhere, both of them (Cavanagh AND Westybrook) will step foot into a CWA ring at some point (again).

Thank you! Yeah, I try to produce such a feeling. There are matches where the results are already crystal clear of course, but I like it when things aren't always predictable. It's definitely not easy to book that way, though.
