All Elite Wrestling: Are You #AllElite?

Excellent show, my friend. It felt as big as it needed to be and the stories told were brilliant.

A heel Omega is gonna be excellent. Now give me Omega vs Moxley again!

That was such a good feud! I wish it wasn't delayed because of Mox's elbow; caused a lot of changes that in the end resulted in a divisive (but IMO excellent) match!

I've been MIA for the last few months and have to say, this dynasty as absolutely fantastic, Dalton. Keep up the amazing work.

Thank you for your awesome AEW diary you did in TEW2016! I loved it, even if I followed silently. Hope to see you around more, both in this thread and your own thread(s)!

Excellent All Out.

Statlander title win AND the return of The Cleaner?

Awesome show!

I suck at predictions, but I do not care after that. Incredible.

Thank you all!!!

Excellent show. Looking to take the lead in the second contest. :D

Second place is something to be proud of :)

Really enjoyed that. I like how AEW IRL has teased the Hangman heel turn but you've gone with Kenny. It works. New tag champs is fresh and I agree it was right to keep the title on Mox.

Great show.

And thanks for the nod.

We had a good conversation in the PMs! Thank you for being a supporter! I actually think AEW is going the same route I am...Hangman is way too over to turn right now, and the teases of a Kenny heel turn (especially on BTE) are plentiful (almost TOO plentiful...I hope the swerve isn't that there is no swerve!). FTR are the absolute perfect tag champs in any company, so it makes too much sense for them to be the ones to end their reign and also be the last straw before they split. I also love MJF, but for now Moxley HAS to be the champion I believe. MJF's time WILL come, both IRL and here, but Mox is simply too big of a star for the time.

Really great show and write up. Really does hit the right balance between detailing a show, but also remembering this is a booking summary and not the actual show

Last show they've hinted Kenny is going to be the Cleaner again, given how Hangman has gotten really over with his drunk cowboy gimmick. However this thread beat them and hinted at it for longer, honestly.

I'm gonna make a short list later of all the things that they have done in the last two or three weeks that are VERY similar to what I have done :p The Kenny beatdown of Marko Stunt is VERY similar to what I did with Kenny attacking FTR unprovoked......

That was a fantastic show, kudos to you.

Thank you Quest! I appreciate you taking over the mod; you've done an excellent job and this simply wouldn't exist without your work.

Luchasarus getting the win was surprising, I was thinking from a popularity perspective that Hager wouldn’t put him over. But I’m guessing this means Jurassic Express vs Inner Circle is gonna keep going with Guevera getting the win over Jungle Boy later in the show. Should be a good feud!

Austin Gunn losing wasn’t a surprise but him turning on his dad already was. Austin vs Billy now give one of Billy’s final rubs to his son, a good way to go out.

This one quote was the highlight of the three way tag “The rest of the match devolves into a mess, with the referee incapable of keeping control. “ - Every AEW Tag Team Match.

Trish being the new interviewer was random af. Assuming this will lead to her doing some in ring work in the future cause I feel like her being an interviewer takes attention away from her guests.

The Brian Cage vs Darby Allin match was done well, Allin did what he had to do to try and take down the big man but he couldn’t (which isn’t bad at all considering the size difference). Cage gets some momentum following his loss to Mox and uses the Tazmission or Kata ha Jime which is a cool kids reference ;).

I feel so happy for you, I remember when you were doing SPW and you said you didn’t know if you could do more in depth match write ups and after reading Cody v Jericho I’ll assure you that you can. We all grow with time and dude you’ve done a great job writing and I’m happy to see you growing as a writer.

YESSSS FTR are champions, the Top Guys have shown they are the Top Guys of AEW!!! The character work for Kenny was great in the match and made so much sense why he’s acted the way he has in weeks prior. Kenny as a heel is a fun change of pace and a knot thrown in the Elite.

I liked the write up for the main event, good stuff there. But the ending was very anti-climatic, and then Moxley getting the post match beat down was weird since he got the cheap win. But there was a lot more to be positive about than be negative about on this show as a whole so amazing job!

-Luchasaurus win was supposed to be a bit of an upset. Sure, he's big, but Hager has more pop and is more recognizable. I don't like Hager very much anyway, so having him be the guy to put over a "homegrown" talent made sense. Inner Circle vs. Jurassic Express may continue on and off, but it'll mainly be focused on Sammy vs. Jungle Boy, rather than faction warfare. I want the young guys in AEW to have pretty much career-long feuds, similar to Cena/Orton/Batista seemingly finding a way to fight every so often.

-Austin is the PERFECT acquisition for the Dark Order. I've been screaming it from the hilltops since the recruitment aspect of the storyline began. He is a sympathetic babyface with a built-in reason for joining.

-You are correct about the tag match line :p I almost put something in there like ", but that's par for the course" but I didn't want to make a negative remark in a show recap :D

-I definitely could've introduced her better lol. I felt like an unannounced/unadvertised debut was important for AEW's biggest show though. I didn't want to bring in a new talent on the show, plus I DESPERATELY needed a decent backstage interviewer because Dasha's stats are not very good in RWC. She will be a regular part of the show moving forward though!

-Hey thanks! I'm happy you remember SPW! I still have some plans for that that I might bring out at some point, but this is simply too much fun and I would have a hard time dividing my focus! Shoutout to all the members here who can multitask :D

-I mentioned this earlier but yeah FTR are the perfect tag champs. Simply phenomenal.

-I wanted to protect MJF with that finish. Obviously I don't want to divulge too many details but there is a reason the show ended the way it did. It didn't dampen MJF quite as much as Paradigm Shift->pinfall would, which is important because that was his first loss in AEW! He's the damn future!

Once again thank you all for reading and commenting and the march towards Full Gear should be even better!!!!

<div style="padding: 10px; border: 8px solid #000000; margin:10px;background: #FFFFFF; max-width:65%; ";">iHpF2fO.jpg?2

Fresh off the outstanding All Out pay-per-view on Saturday, this upcoming episode of AEW Dynamite looks to be one for the ages! Six matches are on the card this week as we leave All Out in the rear view mirror. In addition to those matches, we will also hear from a few members of the roster, all of whom reached out to AEW and asked for time to speak their mind a bit.

Adam Page Wants Answers

At All Out, Adam Page & Kenny Omega lost the AEW World Tag Team Championships to FTR. After the match, Kenny turned on Hangman, giving him a V-Trigger to the back of his head. Understandably, Hangman is pissed off. He has told us that he will be on Dynamite, and wants to speak to Kenny face to face. A man he considered a friend turned his back on him. What will happen when they meet?

Rey Fenix vs. Jungle Boy

The Lucha Brothers defeated SCU and Best Friends at All Out, and now look ahead to what’s next. Jungle Boy lost to Sammy Guevara, and looks to rebound by defeating the unpredictable and innovate Rey Fenix!

Jon Moxley Makes An Announcement

Jon Moxley is STILL the AEW World Champion, now six months strong! He defeated MJF at All Out, and now wishes to make an announcement to the AEW crowd in Boston! What could this announcement be about?

Mr. Brodie Lee & Austin Gunn vs. The Natural Nightmares

Austin Gunn has joined the Dark Order! His father Billy protested, but ultimately received a beatdown at the hands of his son for his wishes. Mr. Brodie wants to continue to show Austin the winning ways of the Order, but have stiff competition in the Natural Nightmares!

Jake Hager vs. Marko Stunt

Jake Hager fell victim to Luchasaurus at All Out! He claims that the loss was because of Marko's interference, and has vowed revenge on him. Will Marko Stunt survive the Big Hurt?

FTR Speak on the State of the AEW Tag Team Division

New AEW World Tag Team Champions FTR asked for time to speak about the state of the tag team division in AEW. We do not know what they will say, however they have already spoken about their desire to be fighting champions, so we anticipate hearing some words regarding that!

Darby Allin vs. CIMA

All Out saw Brian Cage take down the fearless Darby Allin, despite the latter’s best efforts. Darby looks to leave Brian Cage behind him as takes on CIMA, the Dragon Gate legend and current President of Oriental Wrestling Entertainment (OWE).

MJF Speaks On His Loss to Jon Moxley

Fresh off his defeat to Jon Moxley in his quest to take the AEW World Championship, MJF asked for a live microphone so he can get a few things off his chest.

The AEW Women's Division Receives a New Competitor

The AEW Women's World Championship was fought for in a six-way match at All Out, won by Kris Statlander and lost by Hikaru Shida despite the former champion not being the one taking the fall. AEW President Tony Khan announced that the company has signed a new talent for the division, one who has been sought after by all major companies across the world! Who is this woman? We will find out in her debut match here on Dynamite!

Plus...

We hear from new AEW Women's World Champion Kris Statlander!

Nyla Rose in action!

Matt Hardy in action!

Quick Predictions

Rey Fenix vs. Jungle Boy

Mr. Brodie Lee & Austin Gunn vs. The Natural Nightmares

I am all for this.

Rey Fenix vs. Jungle Boy

Expecting Hager...

Mr. Brodie Lee & Austin Gunn vs. The Natural Nightmares

Why Austin? Why?? Poor Billy.

Darby Allin vs. CIMA

Darby all the way

Jake Hager vs. Marko Stunt

Keeping the feud with JE going? Jungle Boy retaliation? Anyway, Hager's going over.

Who is the new signee in the AEW Women's Division? I can't remember if you already signed her or if I'm thinking of Levinux's (also excellent) AEW diary on the TEW'16 board but Asuka.

They are pretenders who should’ve joined gymnastics instead of professional wrestling. To be a tag team, you require psychology, chemistry and desire. Harwood said that they are the champions because they have all of the above. They are TRUE tag team wrestlers, like the Midnight Express, like the Rock n Roll Express, like…. The Brainbusters. And they’ll be damned to lose these belts to any team in this tag team division. And that’s not a burial; that’s the truth! He said he can’t challenge for the AEW World Championship despite constantly being ranked. At first, that was okay, because he won the AEW TNT Championship to become the inaugural champion. But because of Jericho, he lost that title to PAC almost two months ago. So now what? That’s the million dollar question: what’s next for the American Nightmare? He said he just isn’t sure. For the first time in five years, there wasn’t a “next step” for him. Most of the time, there wasn’t a next step; he was always at a dead end. Cody and the Young Bucks personally recruited him and the rest of SCU to AEW, and for the first time in his entire career, that was the next step. He became the inaugural half of the AEW World Tag Team Champions with Frankie Kazarian. Page said that he was tired of being just the “fifth” man of the group. The others were already stars, and were already champions. Whether it be in Japan or in Ring of Honor, he felt like he was only there because of who his friends were. Constantly living in the shadow. Eventually, the phone calls and texts slowed down, but there was one person who never gave up: Kenny. Kenny called every day, begging him to stay. Eventually Page gave in, and when his friends needed him he came back. He won the tag team titles with Kenny man. When the Bucks were giving him sh*t earlier in the year, Kenny stuck by his side. He was proud to call him his partner. Page said that throughout the summer, he barely talked to Cody. He couldn’t stand the sight of Matt, and by association Nick either. But Kenny was there. After Double or Nothing, after Fyter Fest, it looked like things were going well for them. He was getting along with the Bucks, he talked more frequently with Cody even when he was TNT champion and always busy. But then FTR showed up. Kenny swore that they were trying to get in his head, but Page disagreed. Page said that they’ve done that Buckshot Lariat V-Trigger move so many times they gave it a name: the Last Call. But what he didn’t know was that All Out was the last call for them as partners. Despite it being Kenny’s fault for hitting him with his own move, Kenny blamed him for the loss. He attacked him after the match, but why? He said he couldn’t spend the prime of his career bogged down by Hangman; he is the goddamn Best Bout Machine! He is Kenny Omega, the best professional wrestler in the world. No one guessed Tenille Dashwood, but there was certainly a variety of others that I've had my eye on! A lot of you guys want Tessa Blanchard, and trust me, so do I <img alt=":p" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/tongue.png.ceb643b2956793497cef30b0e944be28.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /> However, RWC has her personality as "Bully," which is accurate, which could make her cause problems backstage! I'm almost certain this is the reason AEW has not signed her IRL despite Cody every so often referring to her as his #1 pick outside of AEW. Also in this AEW game, she was IMPACT World Champion from her IRL win date of January 2020 to the day before this Dynamite. Nine month reign!</p>

I think the first round of this tournament is predictable (but that's kinda to be suspected with a elimination tourney), I'm genuinely curious who will make it the finals though</p>

<p>Wow didn't ewpect Bulletproof, that's fn cool (ans there's already a picture for the stable in the database.i think <img alt=":D" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/biggrin.png.929299b4c121f473b0026f3d6e74d189.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /> )</p><p>

The #1 contendee tournament is a cool way to legitimize the title with a strong challenger</p><p>

Some huge signings, i like the MCMG, they were the Bucks before the Bucks at the time, not just in ring but because they were everywhere</p><p> </p><p>

Bit disappointed that MJF turned on Wardlow and not the contrary, i feel it diminishes Wardlow and makes him less of a face, but when he gets the mic it should be good, and MJF is an asshole</p><p> </p><p>
