<p>Fun first two shows, I shocked myself with my predictions! </p><p> </p><p>

AEW TNT Championship: <strong>Cody ©</strong> vs. ??? --- I'm not sure here, you have enough talent that you don't necessarily need anyone new but at the same time this is a good spot for one offs. Needs to be a decent enough worker too. No clue, but my guy says James Storm so I'll go with him. And for the record, I actually like the "Outlandish" Zicky Dice thought that Jaysin has. Kip Sabian makes sense too as he needs something. I would have went with Shawn Spears, but he's in action elsewhere.</p><p>

Natural Nightmares vs. <strong>FTR</strong></p><p>

Christopher Daniels vs. <strong>Colt Cabana</strong></p><p>

<strong>The Young Bucks</strong> vs. The Hybrid 2 --- TH2 is criminally underrated in-ring, but they feel like they could really use a manager or something to make them actual characters. I've always felt Jack Evans could have been so much more.</p>

Night Two on Fyter Fest did NOT disappoint. Great job.

The Jericho promo got me. Florida will have to rename itself to the Jericho State is genuis. I did not want Jericho to go over but can see why he did. Please don’t let that be the end of the feud with Cassidy.

I’m glad Cage lost. The sooner AEW gets bored with him IRL the better.

And I like how you’re teasing it with Cabana. He’s not a full blown heel, he’s a conflicted man who isn’t comfortable with his decisions and is struggling to justify his behaviour… buuuut, he’s with Brodie Lee, so you know he’s not a good guy. Proper cult stuff. Like it.

AEW TNT Championship: Cody ©vs. ??? (Scorpio Sky)

Natural Nightmares vs. FTR

Dustin is ace but there's no way he's winning here.

Kenta Kobashi is #AllElite

By Dave Meltzer | @davemeltzerWON | Friday Week 2, July 2020 7:43 PM

vflW2m6.jpg?3

Puroresu superstar Kenta Kobashi has signed on as a producer and agent for All Elite Wrestlling.

Kobashi is a legend in wrestling, having been one of the Four Pillars of All Japan Pro Wrestling during their glory years in the 1990s. He is a three-time Triple Crown Heavyweight Champion, six-time World Tag Team Champion, three-time World's Strongest Tag Determination League winner, and one-time Champion Carnival winner. After leaving AJPW in 2000 in an exodus to form Pro Wrestling NOAH, he added to his resume by becoming a GHC Heavyweight Champion and two-time GHC Tag Team Champion. Kobashi also had the distinction of having the second-most Wrestling Observer five star matches with 23, only trailing Mitsuhara Misawa's 25.

His biggest accomplishment of all may be defeating cancer in 2007, even making a triumphant return to NOAH.

AEW President Tony Khan released the following statement to F4WOnline to announce the signing:

"It is no secret that Kenta Kobashi is one of the greatest to ever lace up a pair of boots. His knowledge of every facet of a professional wrestling match makes him a wonderful asset to All Elite Wrestling. We are so honored to welcome this man into the AEW family and we are excited to see his influence every Wednesday on AEW Dynamite on TNT!"

AEW TNT Champion and Executive Vice President Cody also commented on his signing on Twitter:

"I was born in 1985. My childhood was molded by 90s wrestling. My father introduced me to styles across the world. One of my favorites was King's Road, a hard-hitting style that was PERFECTED by Kenta Kobashi. I am HONORED to share a locker room with this ICON!"

Kenta Kobashi is a bonafide legend, and his addition to the AEW team will certainly pay off immensely. Be on the lookout for some King's Road-influenced matches soon.

AEW Dynamite

Atlanta, GA

Wednesday Week 3, July 2020

Attendance: 3,879

<div style="padding: 10px; border: 8px solid #000000; margin:10px;background: #FFFFFF; max-width:60%; ";">

AEW Dark Results:

1. Private Party def. #StrongHearts (CIMA & T-HAWK)

2. Bea Pristley def. Sadie Gibbs (18)

3. Brian Cage def. Michael Nakazawa (49)

<div style="color:rgb(26, 26, 26);font-family:Roboto;font-size:14px;font-style:normal;font-weight:normal;border-top:6px solid rgb(255,215,0);"></div>

After an awesome two weeks of Fyter Fest, AEW Dynamite returns to TNT! The three announcers (Jim Ross, Tony Schiavone, Excalibur) give us a rundown of the show tonight. The Natural Nightmares and FTR square off, Colt Cabana takes on Christopher Daniels, The Young Bucks fight The Hybrid 2, and in the main event Cody defends the AEW TNT Championship against a mystery opponent. Plus, we hear from both MJF and Chris Jericho!

<div style="color:rgb(26, 26, 26);font-family:Roboto;font-size:14px;font-style:normal;font-weight:normal;border-top:6px solid rgb(255,215,0);"></div>

1. FTR def. The Natural Nightmares – A simple tag team opener designed to showcase the talents of Cash Wheeler and Dax Harwood. Dustin Rhodes still has it by the way. Wheeler pinned Marshall after 12 or so minutes. (59)

Post match, Dax Harwood grabs a microphone. He says that they have proven time and time again that they are the best tag team in the world. They are the saviors and the preservers of tag team wrestling. They have a lot of respect for Dustin Rhodes and QT Marshall, but they simply could not defeat the well-oiled machine of FTR. He says that now, they are ready for the prize, Adam Page & Kenny Omega’s AEW World Tag Team Championship. The best tag team division in the world has bowed down to their new saviors, so it’s only right that they hold the gold. (52)

<div style="color:rgb(26, 26, 26);font-family:Roboto;font-size:14px;font-style:normal;font-weight:normal;border-top:6px solid rgb(255,215,0);"></div>

2. Kris Statlander def. Leva Bates – A quick squash match for Statlander who is looking to rise up the rankings in the women’s division. She is extremely over with the crowd, and that popularity will only rise going forward.

The real news is what happened after the match. As Kris was celebrating, an unfamiliar theme hit the PA system in Atlanta. From out the tunnel came Thunder Rosa! The Mexican-American superstar walked to the ring to a chorus of cheers. Statlander stood in the ring awaiting her arrival. Rosa climbed through the ropes and stood toe to toe with her. Statlander booped Rosa on the nose, and Rosa booped her back. Rosa grabbed a microphone and looked Kris in the eyes, stating that she heard the women’s division needed a badass. Now, they’ve got one! (38)

<div style="color:rgb(26, 26, 26);font-family:Roboto;font-size:14px;font-style:normal;font-weight:normal;border-top:6px solid rgb(255,215,0);"></div>

After commercial break, MJF’s theme hit and he walked down the ramp with Wardlow, smirking and chewing gum the whole way. Mic in hand, he spoke on why he attacked Jon Moxley at the end of Fyter Fest. For months now, he has been telling everyone that he has been overlooked. After the victory last week over Jungle Kid and Luchasore-loser, he is now 10-0 in 2020. In fact, the only blemish on his entire AEW career was a four-way match at LAST YEAR’s Fyter Fest, in which he wasn’t even pinned! Despite that, he hasn’t received a title shot of any kind, isn’t being put in any contendership spots, nothing. It’s almost like someone in the AEW front office doesn’t like him… So in order to overcome the bias against him, he had to take matters into his own hands. He knew by attacking Moxley, he forced AEW’s hand. Now, he can’t be ignored. He knows Moxley is pissed off. It’s only a matter of time before the title shot that he earned will come to him. (73)

<div style="color:rgb(26, 26, 26);font-family:Roboto;font-size:14px;font-style:normal;font-weight:normal;border-top:6px solid rgb(255,215,0);"></div>

3. Colt Cabana (w/ Mr. Brodie Lee) def. Christopher Daniels – After last week’s complete uncertainty about who to join, Cabana looked to be leaning heavily towards Mr. Brodie and the Dark Order. The match was even throughout, with neither men having a clear advantage until Mr. Brodie kicked Daniels in the head on the outside of the ring while the ref was distracted. Cabana grabbed him and put him in the Reverse Boston Crab for the victory! (52)

Post match, Mr. Brodie came into the ring and hugged Colt. He stuck out his hand for a handshake, and Cabana was conflicted again. He looked at Mr. Brodie’s hand, then looked at his fallen friend on the mat. Then, he looked right into Mr. Brodie’s eyes and returned the handshake before beating on Daniels! Cabana has made his decision! Mr. Brodie gave Daniels a Discus Lariat and Cabana gave him a Colt .45! The other members of SCU sprinted to the ring but Mr. Brodie and Cabana met them with punches before they also each got a Discus Lariat of their own! The Dark Order has gained a new member! (52)

<div style="color:rgb(26, 26, 26);font-family:Roboto;font-size:14px;font-style:normal;font-weight:normal;border-top:6px solid rgb(255,215,0);"></div>

4. Shawn Spears def. 2 Cold Scorpio – Shawn Spears opponent was revealed to be 90s wrestling legend, 2 Cold Scorpio! Scorpio showed some flair while walking to the ring despite being 54 years old. The match was nothing short of a squash however, as Spears put away the has-been cruiserweight in 5:45.

<div style="color:rgb(26, 26, 26);font-family:Roboto;font-size:14px;font-style:normal;font-weight:normal;border-top:6px solid rgb(255,215,0);"></div>

A video package for “Absolute” Ricky Starks was shown. Now that he is in AEW fulltime, be ready. The hottest young star in wrestling is here for a good time, AND a long time. He gave his catchphrase to end it: remember, the men call him Absolute, but the ladies call him Stroke Daddy.

<div style="color:rgb(26, 26, 26);font-family:Roboto;font-size:14px;font-style:normal;font-weight:normal;border-top:6px solid rgb(255,215,0);"></div>

5. The Young Bucks def. The Hybrid 2 – A match showcasing high-flying offense between two long-time teams. TH2 has been underappreciated in AEW, and have been begging on Twitter and Being the Elite to get a match on Dynamite. They were rewarded with a match against the Bucks, who took down the team in a hard-fought 15 minutes. (71)

After the bell rang, the trio of Santana, Ortiz and Chris Jericho came down to the ring and attacked the Young Bucks. The Inner Circle members pummeled them before Proud & Powerful hit a Street Sweeper on Nick Jackson. Jericho took to the mic. He wanted to remind everyone that the Inner Circle has NOT forgotten about the Elite. They will pay for what they did in the Stadium Stampede, They cheated! The Inner Circle should’ve won! Jericho claims that this is just the beginning, and the end is near for The Elite. Adam Page & Kenny Omega came down to the ring to run off the trio, but they were too late. (73)

<div style="color:rgb(26, 26, 26);font-family:Roboto;font-size:14px;font-style:normal;font-weight:normal;border-top:6px solid rgb(255,215,0);"></div>

Cody and Arn Anderson came to the ring before the main event. Arn said that he usually is the one looking for an opponent, but this time, an opponent came to him. Cody’s opponent tonight is someone who has made an appearance in AEW before, and is coming back looking for blood. Arn said, and he quotes, that Cody’s opponent tonight wants to give him a “Tour of the Islands”…

It’s Jeff Cobb!

6. AEW TNT Championship: Cody © def. Jeff Cobb – The open challenge by Cody was answered by the dangerous Jeff Cobb! Cobb makes his return to AEW here after previously being hired by Chris Jericho as a bounty hunter in his mission to stop Jon Moxley. In this return match, Cobb would again fall short of a victory despite dominating the match once again. He even kicked out of the Cross Rhodes, leading to Cody delivering TWO more before going for another pin, this time for a three count. (72)

Not long after being handled the belt, the lights in the arena went out. When they came back on, The Bastard PAC was standing behind Cody! PAC gave Cody a Superkick to the back of the head before delivering a Red Arrow to the TNT Champion! He picked up the title, dropped it on the chest of Cody, and retrieved a microphone. He said that the Bastard is back in AEW! His first victim will be the golden boy himself, Cody Rhodes. See you next week Cody! (72)

Thunder Rosa is #AllElite

By Dave Meltzer | @davemeltzerWON | Friday Week 3, July 2020 7:43 PM

teIIGJh.jpg

This week's episode of AEW Dynamite showcased the debut of Thunder Rosa.

Rosa is a well-traveled women's wrestling veteran who has won gold everywhere she's gone. She has previously worked for Tokyo Joshi Pro, STARDOM, Lucha Underground, among many others.

She is also the current NWA World Women's Champion, having won the title from Allysin Kay in January of this year. It is rumored that Rosa will continue working for the National Wrestling Alliance, although for how long is undisclosed. If the contract allows, she could definitely work for both companies, seeing as NWA tapings are usually just one weekend a month.

Regardless, her addition to the AEW roster will strengthen a rising women's division for the company. Perhaps the largest criticism of AEW for their first year of existence was their lack of star power and general care in the women's division, something that they have worked diligently to improve on.

AEW Dynamite - Week 4, July 2020

iHpF2fO.jpg?2

AEW Dynamite

Chattanooga, TN

Wednesday Week 4, July 2020

Attendance: 3,860

<div style="padding: 10px; border: 8px solid #000000; margin:10px;background: #FFFFFF; max-width:60%; ";">

AEW Dark Results:

1. Lance Archer def. Sonny Kiss (44)

2. Bea Pristley def. Yuka Sakazaki (5!?!?)

3. The Butcher & The Blade def. Brandon Cutler & Peter Avalon (28)

<div style="color:rgb(26, 26, 26);font-family:Roboto;font-size:14px;font-style:normal;font-weight:normal;border-top:6px solid rgb(255,215,0);"></div>

AEW Dynamite started with the AEW World Tag Team Champions Adam Page & Kenny Omega coming to the ring. Kenny Omega spoke on their match at Fyter Fest against Best Friends. They were great opponents and worthy challengers, but they never stood a chance against Hangman and The Cleaner. Kenny says that he and Page have put aside their differences, and as long as they hold the gold, they will work together to keep their reign alive.

Hangman takes the microphone and says that they are ready to look forward to their next challengers. They watched the eight-man tag at Fyter Fest. They saw the winners, FTR and the Young Bucks. They’ve already beaten the Bucks and they would never face off against The Elite again, so that leaves one team, the team that challenged them last week after defeating a previous challenger, The Natural Nightmares. FTR. Hangman asked them to come to the ring.

Cash Wheeler and Dax Harwood pulled up into the arena in their truck before coming to the ring. While walking, Cash Wheeler had a mic and spoke on their respect for the champs. Page and Omega have shown they understand TRUE tag team wrestling. They may not see eye to eye, but when they do, they are pretty damn close to unbeatable. But, they are only unbeatable because they haven’t faced FTR yet. A dream match for some, FTR and Adam Page and Kenny Omega.

Hangman responded by agreeing that it is a dream match. They also have respect for FTR. They’ve seen what they’ve done elsewhere, but this is All Elite Wrestling. They are no longer big fish in a small pond. Right now, they are fish in an ocean filled with predators. And the Great White Sharks are the champions, Adam Page and Kenny Omega. Kenny states that they have an answer to their challenge. In the last week of August, Adam Page and Kenny Omega will put the titles on the line against FTR at All Out! (65)

<div style="color:rgb(26, 26, 26);font-family:Roboto;font-size:14px;font-style:normal;font-weight:normal;border-top:6px solid rgb(255,215,0);"></div>

1. Jungle Boy def. Ricky Starks – Stroke Daddy put up a great fight, but fell to Jungle Boy Jack Perry here. A solid 13 minute match with flashes of superstardom from both competitors. (44)

<div style="color:rgb(26, 26, 26);font-family:Roboto;font-size:14px;font-style:normal;font-weight:normal;border-top:6px solid rgb(255,215,0);"></div>

A match graphic aired to show that NEXT WEEK on Dynamite, Sammy Guevara makes his return to AEW to face ‘Broken’ Matt Hardy! But first, we hear from Sammy himself…

Sammy is sitting in a chair inside a dimly lit room. Hat on, no tongue out. Leather jacket on and jeans, not the usual look for him. He takes a deep breath and speaks to the camera.

“Professional wrestling is a unique artform. A unique blend of entertainment and sport that simply does not exist anywhere else. It’s something that everyone can enjoy, regardless of their background, regardless of their spot in life. For a hundred years, wrestling has been an escape. Wrestlers tell stories of good and evil, romance and betrayal, hope and despair. The stories we tell captivate generation after generation of fans who forget about everything else going on in the world, as long as they are watching us in the ring. That is true now more than ever. For two hours on Wednesday nights on TNT, AEW hopes to provide that escape to every single person watching at home. We want you to tune out the problems shaking the globe to allow us to entertain you. But sometimes, those problems and professional wrestling collide. I have made mistakes myself, mistakes I can only say that I am sorry for. That also goes for many others out there as well, across the entire wrestling landscape. That’s why it is important for every person involved in this industry, from wrestler, to trainer, to management, to be a positive influence, so we can keep professional wrestling what it should be: an escape. All of us need to stand together, not just with each other, but with you the fans as well. We need to be a driving force of progress and equality. I am putting my name in to help that ignite that movement. Let’s be the best people we can be, while still doing what we love most: entertaining you.” (51)

<div style="color:rgb(26, 26, 26);font-family:Roboto;font-size:14px;font-style:normal;font-weight:normal;border-top:6px solid rgb(255,215,0);"></div>

2. Brian Cage (w/ Taz) def. Pineapple Pete – The man of a thousand names was nothing more than fodder for the Machine Brian Cage. Pete got a small amount of offense in, but ultimately Cage was way too much for him to handle. (59)

Post match, Taz cut a promo. He spoke on Cage’s loss to Moxley at Fyter Fest, but said that that’s fine. They are ready for their next challenge, a man who personally wronged Taz. He’s talking about that freak Darby Allin. The little twerp turned down Taz’s assistance, and look at where that’s gotten him. Taz says that it was a blessing in disguise, as he would’ve never brought in Brian Cage. So thank you, Darby. But now, it’s time for revenge. He’s ready to prove why Brian Cage is the better competitor, and why listening to Taz could pay off in dividends. (43)

<div style="color:rgb(26, 26, 26);font-family:Roboto;font-size:14px;font-style:normal;font-weight:normal;border-top:6px solid rgb(255,215,0);"></div>

3. Nyla Rose def. Sadie Gibbs – Sadie put up quite the fight against the Native Beast, but it wasn’t enough as she fell victim to a Camel Clutch for a submission in just under ten minutes. (47)

<div style="color:rgb(26, 26, 26);font-family:Roboto;font-size:14px;font-style:normal;font-weight:normal;border-top:6px solid rgb(255,215,0);"></div>

A quick video package showcased the disciplined fighting style of the AEW Women’s World Champion Hikaru Shida. She spoke in English about how she is ready for every challenger in her way, friend or foe. (30)

<div style="color:rgb(26, 26, 26);font-family:Roboto;font-size:14px;font-style:normal;font-weight:normal;border-top:6px solid rgb(255,215,0);"></div>

4. MJF (w/ Wardlow) def. Frankie Kazarian – MJF’s undefeated streak continues with a hard-fought victory over the SCU member here. It was 17 minutes of packed action and underhanded tactics of MJF. (71)

After commercial break, MJF and Wardlow were still in the ring, with a microphone in the hands of MJF. The first words out of his mouth were to tell the crowd to shut up and listen to the future AEW World Champion. Upon speaking those words, Jon Moxley appeared from the crowd and slid into the ring behind the two. He punched Wardlow in the back of the head, knocking him over, before laying out MJF with a Paradigm Shift! Wardlow quickly got back to his feet but Moxley slid out of the ring. His job was done. MJF was laid out and Wardlow threw the fallen challenger over his shoulder. Moxley grabbed a microphone from the announce desk and told MJF that they would meet at All Out! An AEW World Championship match is made! (70)

<div style="color:rgb(26, 26, 26);font-family:Roboto;font-size:14px;font-style:normal;font-weight:normal;border-top:6px solid rgb(255,215,0);"></div>

Billy and Austin Gunn came to the ring in preparation of a match for Austin. Billy spoke on his son being a future pro wrestling superstar. He has inherited great genes, just look at him. A great look. Ripped. Shredded. There is no doubt he will one day be a champion. Billy says that he asked AEW management to find him a good opponent for his son. He asked for an outsider, so Austin could learn to fight without any prior knowledge of his opponent, because truly great wrestlers can still win that way. (36)

So, without further ado, his opponent is…

CHRIS HERO!

5. Chris Hero def. Austin Gunn – The Wrestling Genius’s debut in AEW started strong, with a victory over his inexperienced opponent. He worked circles around poor Austin, and came out with the victory in 9:15. (42)

The fun didn’t end there however. After Hero went to the back through the tunnel, The Gunn Club was still in the ring. From the other tunnel came The Dark Order, led by Mr. Brodie Lee with Colt Cabana right behind. Billy saw this and stood in front of his hurt son. Mr. Brodie had an envelope in hand and tried talking to Billy who refused to let them see his son. Austin stepped out from behind his father and said it’s okay. He took the envelope, much to the displeasure of Billy. The Dark Order left the ring, leaving the duo to discuss what just happened. Billy was visibly upset, with Austin reassuring him that everything was fine, he just wanted to see what was inside. (47)

<div style="color:rgb(26, 26, 26);font-family:Roboto;font-size:14px;font-style:normal;font-weight:normal;border-top:6px solid rgb(255,215,0);"></div>

A graphic appears on the screen to announce that in TWO WEEKS on AEW Dynamite, we will see Jon Moxley take on Wardlow! (53)

<div style="color:rgb(26, 26, 26);font-family:Roboto;font-size:14px;font-style:normal;font-weight:normal;border-top:6px solid rgb(255,215,0);"></div>

Before our main event, we got a video package of The Bastard PAC's AEW career thus far. Wins over BOTH of the AEW Tag Team Champions in singles matches, his win over Orange Cassidy at AEW Revolution, and his alliance with the Lucha Brothers, called Death Triangle.

Cody also received a video package, highlighting his AEW TNT Championship reign thus far. Wins over Lance Archer, Jungle Boy, Marq Quen, Ricky Starks, Jake Hager, and Jeff Cobb. A solid opening reign for AEW's newest title belt.

6. AEW TNT Championship Match: PAC def. Cody © - The first ever TNT Champion has fallen to The Bastard! After 27 minutes of amazing action, PAC came out on top! HOWEVER, he did not win clean! He only won because of the appearance of Chris Jericho, who hit Cody across the neck with his trusty baseball bat, Floyd. PAC distracted the referee with a bogus argument to allow the Inner Circle leader to wack the champion. PAC quickly took advantage by hitting a Red Arrow before immediately putting Cody into the Brutalizer. Cody tried to fight but passed out within ten seconds, giving PAC the victory and the AEW TNT Championship. (78)

The show goes off the air with PAC standing over an unconscious Cody with belt in hand, and Chris Jericho laughing from the entranceway.

BIG OOC: I didn't give any preview for this past edition of Dynamite, so obviously no prediction results. That's not the important part though.

The Dynamite I just posted featured a promo from Sammy Guevara. As you all probably know, he was taken off TV in real life for some comments he made about Sasha Banks. What he said was a tasteless, unfunny "joke" he made on an edgy podcast in 2016 called TWFS. He was rightfully chastised for those comments. The podcast is known for its host and callers making comments like Sammy's, that's its appeal. I myself, before I knew what TWFS actually was, followed their YouTube videos for a little bit last year, specifically their 'Top 5' videos on current wrestling rankings. After about five videos, I realized that is was all shock humor, so I unsubscribed and no longer support them whatsoever.

I went back and forth for a long time trying to figure out how to bring Sammy back into the mix. For awhile, I thought about just keeping him off for however long it takes to see him back IRL, even though this diary will surely be much further down the timeline, since we're about to hit August here. The turning point for me was Cody's tweet about Sammy definitely coming back, more mature and ready to go.

I spoke to a couple people through PMs, looking to see if what I wrote is inoffensive, while still acknowledging the elephant in the room. So I want to thank those two awesome board members for responding and assisting. I will leave them anonymous for now unless they wish to name themselves.

If there is ANYTHING wrong with what I wrote for Sammy, please do not hesitate to comment publicly in the thread or send me a PM. We all are here as a hobby, and I absolutely love writing these shows so much. I want to keep it as fun as possible.

To wrap up, I hope everyone is okay with this so we can get by it and move on to bigger and better things. I've mapped out the next five or six months almost to the exact segment, so there's plenty of gas left in the tank and I can't wait to tell you guys all about it :)

AEW Dynamite Preview

Rochester, NY

Wednesday Week 1, August 2020

The biggest news coming out of last week’s AEW Dynamite is PAC winning the AEW TNT Championship from Cody in an awesome main event! Chris Jericho played a key role in Cody’s loss by smacking him in the head with Floyd. We have been told that Cody is not medically cleared to attend Dynamite this week, so without his presence, what can we expect from Jericho?

We also see the returns of FOUR competitors to AEW Dynamite: Sammy Guevara, Riho, Darby Allin, and Bea Pristley!

SEVEN matches will take place this week, which you can catch LIVE this Wednesday at 8pm EST on TNT!

Matt Hardy vs. Sammy Guevara (w/ Chris Jericho)

Broken Matt Hardy will face off with the returning Sammy Guevara in this week’s main event! Will Hardy’s broken antics take enough of a mental toll on Sammy to cost him the match? Or will Sammy’s youth and athleticism be too much for Hardy? Tune in to find out!

AEW TNT Championship: PAC vs. Chuck Taylor (1st defense)

PAC requested his first defense to be against one of the Best Friends. Best Friends and Death Triangle have had issues going back to Death Triangle’s formation five months ago at AEW Revolution. PAC looks to put a beating on Chuck Taylor, while the challenger looks to end the reign of the Bastard before it even gets going!

Adam Page vs. Shawn Spears (w/ Tully Blanchard)

AEW Tag Team Champion Hangman Adam Page will be in singles action against Shawn Spears, who has been heating up in recent months. With Tully Blanchard at his side, Spears may very well be hot enough to take down the champ! Hangman has a full plate right now with FTR challenging Page & Kenny Omega at AEW All Out at the end of the month, so it remains to be seen if he can put that aside and focus on his opponent Shawn Spears.

Riho vs. Anna Jay

Riho’s return to AEW will be against Anna Jay, whose peculiar relationship with the Dark Order has been a mystery thus far. Will that be enough to take down the former AEW Women’s World Champion?

Bea Pristley vs. Kris Statlander

The alien from the Andromeda Galaxy will face off with the returning Bea Pristley, who has been away from All Elite Wrestling for some time. Two equal competitors will duke it out in an effort to rise up the rankings of the AEW Women’s Division!

Matt Jackson (w/ Nick Jackson) vs. Santana (w/ Ortiz)

One half of two amazing AEW tag teams will clash in what will surely be a fantastic bout! With The Elite vs. Inner Circle feud reignited last week by Chris Jericho’s attack on Cody, both competitors have a chip on their shoulder, to defend their group!

Kip Sabian vs. Darby Allin

Darby has been CLEARED to return to the ring! He has spoken about his hunger for action, for danger, and for wins. He is tired of being called the “future.” He is ready to take that next step right now! Taz has challenged Darby to a match against his client, Brian Cage at All Out! Darby’s opponent tonight is ‘Superbad’ Kip Sabian, who looks to break away after running in place over the last few months. Both athletes’ athleticism is above and beyond, so expect a match moving at breakneck speed here!

Plus…

We take a look at the ‘Wrestling Genius’ Chris Hero’s training routine!

AEW World Champion Jon Moxley will speak from his home in Las Vegas via Satellite!

Thunder Rosa will make an appearance!

Nice episode of Dynamite. Laying some good groundwork for the future.

Also a great card for Dynamite. Keep it up, fella.
