Golden Dynasty [C-Verse: PGHW]

Just caught up, what an awesome start. A heel faction led by Kawashima is a VERY original idea. It's blasphemy for him to be a heel!!! Kwakami being Jimbo's first challenger makes sense, save that Kawashima/Jimbo match for the main event of a major four show.

"GIVE MY PGHW BACK!"

"GET OUT OF MY PGHW, LIGHTWEIGHT SCUMS!"

"C'mon Kozue, Kill That Bastards!"

Man, this is really good!

My first save in 2020 was a Mushashibo takeover too, but this is very different in so many ways and I liked so much the pre-save reports.

Good work!

Enjoying the concept behind the Pillars faction and Reaver's foul-mouthed badassery. Can't say the same about introducing juniors, but I'll wait to see how the move pans out... :p

In my test games in PGHW Reaver wasn't really a favorite of mine. But writing the backstory made him grow on me :D. I get it dude, you're one of the purists ;p. A new era means a new direction, like Inukai & Mushashibo say "We hope you us a chance." :p

Thanks, I thought after killing the King's Road that some in the company would disagree with the decision and instead of having an Exodus from the company I decided to make the group the saviors of the art. The group that sees themselves as stronger than all others.

Lol, Spoiler Alert!!!

Kozue Kills Everyone! And King's Road lived happily ever after :).

It's a good set up, Mushashibo was the biggest star the company had so him taking over in struggling times to try to save the company felt like an fun idea to go with.

Seiji Jimbo, Stone Yoshikawa, William Hayes, Brute Kikuchi, & Tetsunori Yasuda in [20:39] when Akinori Kwakami hit the Red Star Neckbreaker (Fisherman’s Neckbreaker) on Stone Yoshikawa for the pinfall. [67]

<div style="font-weight:normal;border-top:2px solid #0077b3;"></div>

-Nobuyo Hikichi is the most experienced of the Young Lions currently apart of the promotion as seen by his knee pads and more developed move-set. Masatochi Kamimura & Matt Blackburn both with no knee pads or elbow pads, and the typical Young Lion moveset (I.E. Boston Crabs Galore) had some trouble teaming together. Kamimura was really physical when facing Daigo Goya, face-washing him a few times with referee Doppu Ibu having to separate the two. Blackburn questioned Kamimura’s cheap tactics to which he was brushed off.

-Kazushige Matsuki has been on the cusp of being the Glory Crown Holder for awhile. He’s been stuck under the glass ceiling that is his potential. He has had great showings in the past but has never been seen as a top guy by fans or management, though maintaining his reliability. Matsuki took on the indy veteran Strong Style Yoemon in a try-out match for Yoemon. Yoemon had gotten positive recommendations from guys who’d seen him in the ring and met him in person, so he got the try-out here, but his performance wasn’t PGHW quality so he will not be signed.

-Haranobu Kobayashi has had his hands full this tour having to face Masaru Ugaki & Ryoma Muruyama in some form each night. It’s an incredible opportunity for him to learn up close and personal. He has held his own against both of them, though did succumb to the Ugaki Clutch last night. Kobayashi didn’t fall this time though his team lost, as SATO got pinned by his opponent tomorrow in Osaka Historical Japan Champion Avalanche Takano. Takano was focused tonight knowing momentum will be important while also trying to keep out of his head that SATO beat him for the title during his first reign.

-Reaver & Danny Cavanagh’s bad blood spilled over again tonight with the two being involved in a brawl after their match. Reaver tried to heave a chair at Cavanagh while calling him expletives and being held back by young boys. Cavanagh responded by gunning the chair back at Reaver and the young boys knocking all them down. In his post-match interview, Cavanagh claimed Reaver is living a fantasy as champion, “You think you can get away with anything you want. But all the temper tantrums in the world won’t be able to beat me tomorrow in Osaka. You set your bed and now I’m gonna Spinebuster you through it!” [49]

-Bison Yano aggravated his knee injury last night when PILLARS MMXX targeted in their match. He was absent from the 5-on-5 to heal for their title match tomorrow, but Brute Kikuchi was ready to fight and he was looking for revenge for him and Yano against PILLARS MMXX. Kikuchi starts the match and dominates early, first on Goemon Komiya, then Mamoru Nagahama, but Akinori Kwakami was able to hold his own and get an advantage on the big man when his rage made him easy to grapple to the mat. Kwakami was really confident, sometimes falling into being cocky too. Seiji Jimbo fixed that when he out grappled him a few times making Kwakami flustered leading to a tag out. Seiji was obviously sick of PILLARS trash talk and wanted to prove them they are not saving PGHW from anything. He kept his focus on Kwakami though tagging out once Kwakami left. An all out brawl started with the teams when Kawashima elbowed Hayes off the apron, and in the ruckus, Kawashima tagged out to Kwakami who hit his Red Star Neckbreaker for the pinfall. Not feeling like that was enough Kwakami went after Seiji on the floor and the two brawled up the entrance. [65] After the two got separated in the back Seiji Jimbo got to the interview area to make the claim “I will give PILLARS MMXX their first loss tomorrow night. Kwakami will taste the Jimbo Driver and it will taste bitter. I’ve worked long and hard to get where I am, whether it’s King’s Road, Golden Dynasty, or Roaring Lion I am the best wrestler in the world because I hold this belt. After tomorrow I will still be the best wrestler in the world.” [73]

I'm not convinced that Kwakami will win the upcoming titlematch. I think Kawashima is THE guy for beating Jimbo, so Jimbo will defend the belt once more. I like that you're trying to give your young boys a profile, that's a good read imo. Btw young lion is a NJPW-term, but so strong connected to japanese young boys that even Adam has put in into the game:p Feel sorry for my man Yoemon though.

OOC: I wanna thank Historian for helping me find the website Canva to create the logo for this show. It takes influence from his logos from his Dynasty "No Ordinary Men" and I'm grateful he gave me the okay to use it. If you haven't checked out No Ordinary Men, it's an awesome depiction of mixing Old School territory wrestling into a modern setting, I highly reccomend it.

Love the layout. And props to you for the logo, i know how you struggled with doing event logos so i'm happy for you it worked out.

Give me some love for Kamachi. I was so pissed in 2016 when he was signed by PGHW to a written contract. I love this guy he was my go2guy in many many smaller puro feds in TEW 2013.

3RD MATCH 60 MINUTE TIME LIMIT

PGHW HISTORICAL JAPAN TITLE MATCH

©Avalanche Takano VS. SATO

I feel like SATO could grow even more than the Historical Japan title. SATO is already a Int. champion, so Takano could get a push when beating SATO here. But it could be the other way around: Takano lose the belt and is a step above SATO then. It would be typical Gedo type booking, you lose a belt and then challenge for another soon. A titleloss could be a bigger push then.

4TH MATCH 30 MINUTE TIME LIMIT

Kozue Kawashima, Noriyori Sanda, Goeman Komiya, & Mamoru Nagahama VS. Tetsunori Yasuda, William Hayes, Stone Yoshikawa, & Hirobumi Takimoto

It's typical that the new heel unit will gain some more wins before their going to be crushed by the Hontai. I can see a Sanda scoring the W for setting up another filler title defense for Jimbo before Kawashima challenge finally. I'm not familiar with the schedule of PGHW so i could be wrong and the next tour is a freaking big one, so Sanda doesn't make any sense.

5TH MATCH 60 MINUTE TIME LIMIT

PGHW INTERNATIONAL TITLE MATCH

I don't know man. I can see both at the moment, but i think Cavanagh got more on the upside for me. He's a big strong dude, younger and i can see his brutal attitude continue to defend the belt with all his pride. Reaver is a lightweight i think? Come on Danny!

6TH MATCH 60 MINUTE TIME LIMIT

PGHW GLORY TAG CROWN

I think the two are going to drop these beauties on a Pillars team in the near future, right? I like them and i think both are pretty interesting guys for the tag scene.

Man i'm pumped for this one. Okay i said it before i don't think that Jimbo will drop the belt here to Kwakami, but it's the perfect booking to make the match up with Kawashima even hotter and more hateful. See above my thoughts about the upcoming situation.

Eien Miyamoto, Hirokazu Yamanoue, & Nobuyo Hikichi VS. Magnum Kobe, Toyota Munakata, & Daigo Goya

Time Limit: 30:00

Referee: Shihei Nagano

The first match of night was a Young Boy Tutor Tag Match. Nobuyo Hikichi & Daigo Goya had time to shine alongside veterans of the ring. Nobuyo Hikichi is nearing an excursion having been paying his dues for the last two years. Nobuyo has reached the point where he has even perfected a move of his own the Cross Armlock. Eien Miyamoto has been one of the most consistent wrestlers in PGHW but has yet to break through in a major way last holding the Historical Japan Title five years ago. Miyamoto has been patient waiting to knock a big opportunity and at 33 Years Old his patience may be his downfall. Hirokazu Yamanoue has become a father of the young boys being the oldest, most experienced member on the roster alongside Mamoru Nagahama. Hirokazu though has clung to the role, he enjoys teaching the next generation the ropes. Daigo Goya has been paying his dues for over a year now and has been allowed to add some new moves into his arsenal that being the German Suplex, also only recently being allowed to wear knee pads. Toyota Munakata is nicknamed “The Blood Fighter” not only for his red hair, but his clear neglect for others well being. Toyota’s scowl can strike fear in the hearts are the toughest boys and that alongside his excellent technical skill allowed him to be one of the few Lightweights to be signed by PGHW prior to their acceptance of the Juniors in December by Yohsimi Mushashibo. Magnum Kobe has been a sensation since joining PGHW over a year ago. He has still yet to be pinned or submitted in the company and has shown just how successful a Lightweight can be in the traditionally Heavyweight PGHW.

Eien showed off his technical ability as well as his strength heaving his lighter opponents around the ring, Hirokazu had some fun with Goya, getting the better of him in some grappling. Meanwhile, Munakata underestimating Hikichi got him caught in an Armbar, but Munakata wouldn’t be shown up as he’d proceed to wrench viciously on Hikichi when he returned the favor with an Armbar. Magnum Kobe showed off again his great athleticism hitting a springboard Moonsault on Hirokazu for a two count. In the end of the match did a series of roll-up on Hikichi before getting the win with a Crucifix.

1. Magnum Kobe, Toyota Munakata, & Daigo Gota def. Eien Miyamoto, Hirokazu Yamanoe, & Nobuyo Hikichi in [10:19] when Magnum Kobe rolled up Nobuyo Hikichi with a Crucifix. [57]

Masaru Ugaki, Ryoma Muruyama, & Gonnohyoe Kada VS. Haranobu Kobayashi, Tsurayuki Kamachi, & Kazushige Matsuki

Time Limit: 30:00

Referee: Yugoro Adachi

Masaru Ugaki & Ryoma Muruyama officially made it their intention over the last few days that they have their eyes set on the Glory Tag Crown, whether it’s held by Yano & Kikuchi or Kitoaji & Makiguchi. Gonnohyoe Kada has had a cold spell since losing the International Title to Reaver in September. Kada has seemed less confident since his knock out from the Hell Fire Kick and that has cost him in a lot of matches. Haranobu Kobayashi & Tsurayuki Kamachi started committing to fully teaming in 2019 and over the last few days have put thrown against Masaru Ugaki & Ryoma Muruyama multiple times and have tasted defeat in some form. Now on the biggest stage they get another shot to show if they can take down the self-proclaimed number one contenders for the Glory Tag Crown. But they aren’t alone as they have the man who came out of the womb with taped fists, Kazushige Matsuki. Matsuki could be the difference maker here, having been on the cusp of being a Major Star for a few years now, having solid performances in the Elite Series year after year.

Kada & Matsuki had eyes for each other in this one, doing a strike off to see who can take more punishment with Matsuki winning and almost pinning Kada cause of it. Kobayashi almost got the biggest win of his career when he hit a standing Kobayashi Plunge (Powerslam) usually done from the middle rope but with Kobayashi’s 300+ pound weight he almost got a three on Muruyama when Ugaki saved the day for his partner. Ugaki was the clear leader of this match, hitting slick moves on everyone, with impeccable timing. In the end Ugaki reversed a Back Suplex attempt by Kamachi into the Ugaki Clutch (Sleeper Hold with Body Scissors) for the Submission win.

2. Masaru Ugaki, Ryoma Muruyama, & Gonnohyoe Kada def. Haranobu Kobayashi, Tsurayuki Kamachi, & Kazushige Matsuki in [14:55] when Masaru Ugaki submitted Tsurayuki Kamachi with the Ugaki Clutch. [68]

TITLE: PGHW HISTORICAL JAPAN

Time Limit: 60:00

Referee: Shihei Nagano

Avalanche Takano & SATO have both had each other’s numbers when it came to defending the Historical Japan Title. SATO ended Takano’s first reign in April of 2019, then in September Takano would drop SATO with Mountain Takano (Crucifix Powerbomb) to regain the title. The two are now 1-1 in title defenses, but SATO has the peculiar advantage of not being champion considering the history over the last year.

Avalanche & SATO both have confidence with Avalanche just getting a pinfall over SATO two days ago, and SATO knowing he beat Avalanche for the gold before. A collar and elbow tie is met with both men doing a slow burn feel out session looking for the other to create and opening. SATO would steer Avalanche into the ropes almost clean break but slap Avalanche instead. Avalanche took exception and went back to the collar and elbow and tried SATO’s same strategy and brought him to the ropes went for the break and tried slapping him but SATO ducked and slapped Avalanche again. Avalanche had enough and began a barrage of strikes on SATO grounding him in the corner. He’d do two running knees on SATO who’s positioned sitting in the corner, on the third Avalanche stopped himself and slapped SATO for his revenge letting him know he isn’t taking SATO’s disrespect. They would trade holds back and forth for a few minutes before SATO caught Avalanche in the leg with kicks that would drop his taller opponent. SATO obviously had this plan from the start to wait for the opening to go after Avalanche’s base. Avalanche was obviously annoyed as he could feel his chances of retaining dwindle as he hobbled to his feet. SATO continues with the leg kicks but Avalanche catches him and guzzles him by the throat before heaving SATO over his head in a move Keiji Takeda doesn’t even know what to call. Avalanche tries for Mountain Takano but SATO slips away and attempt SATO Driver 4K (Airplane Spin/Cradle Shock Combo) but Takano slips out as well. SATO was prepared and hit a back kick to the knee of Takano and smashed him with the Wind Sprint Elbow (Running Elbow to the Face) to pick up the win and make it the second time Avalanche Takano lost the Historical Japan Title to SATO.

3. SATO def. Avalanche Takano in [15:39] when SATO hit a Wind Sprint Elbow on Avalanche Takano to get the pinfall and become the NEW PGHW Historical Japan Champion. [67]

Kozue Kawashima, Noriyori Sanda, Mamoru Nagahama, & Goemon Komiya VS. Tetsunori Yasuda, William Hayes, Stone Yoshikawa, & Hirobumi Takimoto

Time Limit: 30:00

Referee: Doppo Ibu

Kozue Kawashima & Noriyori Sanda alongside Akinori Kwakami introduced PGHW to PILLARSMMXX at NIGHT OF WRESTLING at the end of 2019. This was their first tour as a stable and they have dominated winning all three of their tag matches and giving them a lot of momentum into tonight. Kawashima stated the goal of PILLARS XXMM was to rid PGHW of weakness that is plaguing it and maintain the King’s Road style set up by PGHW founder Sadaharu Jimbo. A tandem has started between Mamoru Nagahama & Goemon Komiya since December, and the two of them seem okay with PILLAR MMXX’s goals. Nagahama has been in purgatory since his former tag team partner Matsudaira Morioka retired in 2018, and Komiya had also been floundering since his PGHW in 2015, not having any accolades to his name. Tetsunori Yasuda is otherwise known as the biggest “Almost Guy” in PGHW history. He has had all the potential to be as great as Ugaki, Kawashima, or Jimbo but has failed time after time. After a failure of an Elite Tag Series with Hirobumi Takimoto who knows what’s going through Yasuda’s head. William Hayes has been the most consistent gaijin in PGHW since his signing in 2005. Hayes currently is entering his 15th year with the company and has just turned 40, he seems have juice left in his tank to compete at the highest of levels though. Stone Yoshikawa though not the tallest at 5’5 he has the strength of a Heavyweight even though he’d fall under the Junior weight class. Rumors are he will be heading to the Junior division once it’s established to give it an established PGHW name. Hirobumi Takimoto is slowly learning the ropes in PGHW by Tetsunori Yasuda’s side. Though he isn’t a Young Boy anymore he still is being treated more like one considering his low cardio. 2019 saw him get major improvement going longer in matches and even being a part of the Elite Tag Series with Yasuda, though they lost every match.

Kozue Kawashima played his spots here tearing apart Stone Yoshikawa, possibly at the thought of him not belonging in a Heavyweight’s presence. Hirobumi had a few moments showing his stiff strikes that dropped Nagahama. A nice strike/grappling match went on with Yasuda & Komiya in which Yasuda hit a hard slap that got Komiya to tag out. A big pop came when William Hayes hit a tornado punch on Sanda that got a two count. In the end Sanda hit Vortex Crush (Corkscrew Moonsault) on Yoshikawa for the three.

4. Kozue Kawashima, Noriyori Sanda, Mamoru Nagahama, & Goemon Komiya def. Tetsunori Yasuda, Stone Yoshikawa, William Hayes, & Hirobumi Takimoto in [13:44] when Noriyori Sanda hit the Vortex Crush on Stone Yoshikawa for the pinfall. [64]

© Reaver VS. Danny Cavanagh

TITLE: PGHW INTERNATIONAL TITLE

Time Limit: 60:00

Referee: Yugoro Adachi

Danny Cavanagh earned this opportunity by pinning Reaver on Night #1 of the Road to Osaka tonight. For the past two nights Reaver has attempted to enact some kind of revenge hitting Cavanagh’s partner Timmy West with a Hell Fire Kick (Backwards Heel Kick) that caused him to be out of action to end the tour. Cavanagh said that Reaver will reap what he has sewn tonight, “You set your bed and now I’m gonna Spinebuster you through it!”

Reaver was hot at the bell rushing Cavanagh who took some vicious looking blows, but eventually heaved Reaver across the ring. Cavanagh would finally start getting some licks in, lighting up Reaver with forearms. Power move after power move, Cavanagh was shutting Reaver’s mouth, dominating him all around. To Reaver’s credit he would not stay down, kicking out of a huge sit-out Powerbomb that got the crowd clapping. Looking to annihilate Reaver, Cavanagh looked for a spear but Reaver dropkicked his knee and sent him shoulder first into the corner. Reaver continued his attack on Cavanagh’s shoulder and would get him out of the ring where he’d push Cavanagh shoulder first into the ring post. Cavanagh was wailing in pain, almost getting counted out. He wasn’t gonna let the bastard get one over on him like that though. With his last ounce of spirit Cavanagh entered the ring. Reaver caught him before he could stand and tried to lock in an Armbar, Cavanagh almost had it blocked by reversing into a Powerslam, but his arm gave way. Reaver swept Cavanagh’s legs and locked in the Ichihara Armbar (Fujiwara Armbar), Cavanagh was hanging on trying to crawl to the ropes, but the pain was overwhelming and he had to tap out… But as the bell rang Reaver wouldn’t let go, after a few seconds Timmy West was running down to the ring. He isn’t suitable for action but he’s coming to the aid of his partner and friend. West & Reaver have a tackle fight till Young Boys separate the two with West checking on Cavanagh and Reaver fuming pushing down Young Boys as he walks off with the gold.

5. Reaver def. Danny Cavanagh in [17:53] when Reaver submitted Danny Cavanagh with the Ichihara Armbar to retain the PGHW International Title. [57]

© BISON Yano & Brute Kikuchi VS. KitoGuchi (Chojiro Kitoaji & Bussho Makiguchi)

TITLE: PGHW GLORY TAG CROWN

Time Limit: 60:00

Referee: Doppo Ibu

KitoGuchi earned this title shot by not only beating BISON & Brute during the Elite Tag Series, but by also winning the entire series itself. KitoGuchi was also chosen as Tag Team of the Year by multiple Wrestling publications, so they have loads of momentum coming into this. BISON & Brute have gone through the ringer since Night of WRESTLING in December. PILLARS MMXX went after them as their first targets, leading BISON & Brute both to be less than 100% going into this which could be detrimental. They do have one thing going for them, that’s rage, they are angrier than ever before and if they can harness that they can come away with the win.

The match started as a gentlemen’s contest, with KitoGuchi refusing to exploit Yano’s knee injury sustained at the hands of PILLARS MMXX. So the early stages of this match was more grappling then what Yano & Kikuchi are used to, so they were kept on the defense early on. Yano got fed up, angered by his knee injury and began ruthlessly assaulting Kitoaji in the corner. Bussho came in to try to stop it but was held away by Doppo Ibu. BISON even went as far as to hit a few knee strikes on Kitoaji in the gut with his knee brace. BISON & Brute set Kitoaji up for a double Powerbomb, but Kitoaji slipped out ducked a double clothesline and got the tag to Bussho who flew in with a crossbody taking out both combatants. Brute rolled out and Bussho set his eyes on BISON. Bussho immediately went for the injured knee and hit a Dragon Screw Leg Whip, going back on his word when he saw BISON use it against his partner. Eventually Bussho got BISON up on his shoulders a Kitoaji came off the top and they hit KitoGuchi Destruction (Doomsday Device) for the three count to win the Glory Tag Crowns.

6. KitoGuchi def. BISON Yano & Brute Kikuchi in [21:28] when KitoGuchi hit KitoGuchi Destruction (Doomsday Device) on BISON Yano for the three count to win the PGHW Glory Tag Crown Championships. [78]

After the match Masaru Ugaki & Ryoma Muruyama came to the ring and faced off with the new champions. Ugaki & Muruyama claimed the mantle of Number One Contenders before the match even happened and they come out now to challenge the new champions. Muruyama says KitoGuchi is an amazing team, one of the best in the world. But he and Ugaki have been to the top of that mountain before. Now they are back to reclaim their spot at the top of the mountain. Ugaki throws the challenge out, Ugaki & Muruyama vs. Kitoaji & Makiguchi for the Glory Tag Crown at Night of RESPECT on Sunday January 31st. Ugaki says it’s time for the best tag team in the world to return to their rightful place… Kitoaji takes a microphone, says there’s a reason KitoGuchi have won the Glory Tag Crown titles and the Elite Tag Series more than Ugaki & Muruyama have (KitoGuchi have one more of both accolades than Ugaki & Muruyama). Kitoaji says that Ugaki & Muruyama have been on the shelf as a team for awhile, during the Elite Tag Series last year KitoGuchi pinned them, so he wonders why they think they deserve a shot. Ugaki says cause they will beat them like the ungrateful bastards they are. Muruyama calms down Ugaki. Muruyama asks for an answer. Makiguchi takes the mic and accepts the challenge the match is own. Ugaki and Muruyama leave the champs the ring as they leave with Ugaki obviously heated and Murayama satisfied. [67]

© Seiji Jimbo VS. Akinori Kwakami

TITLE: PGHW GLORY CROWN

Time Limit: 60:00

Referee: Doppo Ibu

PILLARS XXMM was created by Kozue Kawashima, Akinori Kwakami, & Noriyori Sanda at Night of WRESTLING at the end of the 2019. Their goal was to keep the King’s Road style that Seiji Jimbo’s uncle Sadaharu invented and built PGHW around. Now not even a month later Akinori Kwakami has earned a title match after pinning the Glory Crown Champion on the first show of the year. He did have major help from Kozue Kawashima, but Kwakami is very capable performer, having won the Elite Series in 2015. Much like BISON Yano & Brute Kikuchi, Seiji Jimbo has shown more anger within himself since PILLARS debut. But Seiji has always been a more calm soul, so it’ll be curious if he’ll have the same fate as BISON & Brute did or if he’ll overcome the disadvantage. Especially with the fact PILLARS MMXX has yet let to lose a match since establishing themselves as a group.

Akinori & Seiji start the match with a stiff strike off, knees, forearms, kicks, slaps, it was like two lions in the jungle. Seiji clotheslined Akinori out and it looked like the confident and calm champion was here tonight. The tour hadn’t been friendly to him, but he’s not Glory Crown Champion for no reason. Kwakami got the upper hand on the floor slamming the champ on the floor and dropping Seiji on the barricade. Kwakami got admonished by Doppo Ibu when he was striking Seiji repeatedly when he was tangled in the ropes. Akinori begins to go after Seiji’s legs to set him up for the Kwakami Pain Lock. During a sequence when Akinori was doing Dragon Screws, and while Seiji was hopping Akinori told him to hit him and he wound back but then rolled through and locked in a Knee Bar. The torque on the knee caused a lot on Kwakami as he limped after getting to the rope. The match became more about arm strength and technique as both men had difficulty moving around. Kwakami hit a gut wrench Powerbomb that could’ve been a three if he got the pin right away. Kwakami set up Seiji for a Brainbuster but Seiji falls behind him, and when he turns around Seiji hit’s the Sadaharu Enziguri Kick, his Uncle’s signature move. Seiji then locks in the Seiji Ocean Lock (Body Scissors Butterfly Hold), Kwakami scoots to the ropes for a break. But it Kwakami wasn’t lucky enough to avoid another big move as after dual Brainbuster reversals Seiji hit the Jimbo Driver on Kwakami for the pinfall.

7. Seiji Jimbo def. Akinori Kwakami in [21:40] when Seiji Jimbo hit the Jimbo Driver (Reverse Brainbuster) on Akinori Kwakami for the pinfall victory to retain the PGHW Glory Crown Championship. [75]

1IUZvw7.png?1ZE5cG8z.png?1

After the match Seiji Jimbo is being administered ice by young boys and a ringside physician. Kwakami is given the same treatment but he’s on the outside of the ring feeling shameful. Jimbo gets a microphone and says he is still the best in the world, and tonight he’s proven PILLAR MMXX is stoppable. As he degrades PILLARS MMXX’s name Kozue Kawashima & Noriyori Sanda come to the ring to check on Akinori Kwakami. Kozue keeps his eyes on Jimbo from the foot of the entrance. Jimbo makes direct eye contact to him and tells him to challenge him, to tell all these fans how much you want to challenge me, assuring him the fans want to see it which gets cheered. As Noriyori helps Akinori up and PILLARS MMXX group up with Kozue they all eye Seiji whose confidence wanes slightly at the thought of a three on one attack. But PILLARS MMXX decides to walk up the ramp and leave Seiji to say goodbyes to the crowd. Seiji says Kozue will fall to him one day, and his thoughts of being the best will no longer exist. After he goes on to thank the crowd and wish them well on their way home. [66]

OOC: Thank you to CGN91 for making the awesome VS logos for me.

Man.. I have to say that is a long show! Kudos to you for writing so much, i really appreciate effort like this. I would love to write so grammatically correct etc. like you:p

My predictions weren't that good, huh:D Good lord. I feel pretty dumb that i did not picked Masaru Ugaki & Ryoma Muruyama as a winning team for example. It was crystal clear that those two are going to get some momentum and maybe challenge, what they did. And yea KitoGuchi won the titles. Maybe i was a bit biased bc i really like Brute and Bison that much, but KitoGuchi versus Ugaki and Muruyama should be great tho.

You screwed me over again with SATO. Okay fair enough i picked Takano but i have seen both options. Interesting now if Takano will hunt again or it's like i said in the predictions with being elevated in Gedo style booking.

Respect to Reaver. He stopped big mean Cavanagh and retained the belt with an Ichihara Armbar, i like the name:p Glad you took Ichihara for being the Fujiwara equivalent here. Curious which man will challenge Reaver next.

Pillars going strong in the multimen, but loses the big singles match. I like how it's played out, that's some decent booking stuff like i do it too. Sanda could be the next victim of Jimbo, who's only targeting Kozue. That could be some serious s*it for the champ, he should also focus on Sanda. I like the aftermath , no attacks here just some words. Good tho! Jimbo's render is also nice looking. The end of the match was good when Jimbo hit some old school move to damage Kwakami which was a good story in Old School type vs. Modern day Pillars the other way round:p

Awesome job mate! It's been fun watching this grow from just an idea that we discussed privately on Discord to a STRONG diary. I'm happy for ya.

SATO winning the HJ title for a second time over the same guy is like running in place, but I trust that you have a good reason so I'll let it play out!

The 8 man tag w/ Kozue had a predictable result but that's a good thing. Pillars is the best part of the diary so keep em strong so when they do fall, it'll mean something.

I love Reaver. Push him as the top gaijin. Make him Glory Crown champ. Lead the Bullet Club..or the Gun Group or whatever the C-Verse equivalent is.

I like KitoGuchi, but they seem like two guys who would be stronger as singles stars tbh. But you did the right thing by giving them the belts; give them a good reign until they eventually split, don't do too much too fast. Slow burns baby.

Jimbo will probably beat Sanda next before falling to Kozue to build to a huge rematch between Jimbo and Kozue at the season finale (which I forget what it is). It's simple but great storytelling!

The tag title match getting a better rating than the main event should tell ya something: KitoGuchi is your go-to for good matches!

Like I said, awesome job with the show and it only makes me more excited for where you take things!

Avalanche Takano – “I lost too him again… Maybe I just can’t beat SATO. I don’t know, he’s obviously developed faster than me somehow. I beat him once, maybe that was luck. I’m gonna have to train harder, really figure out how to up my game.”

Reaver – “Timmy West wants a piece of me? Come get some b****!! I’ll break you like I broke your buddy. I knocked you out once and next time you won’t be waking up.”

Danny Cavanagh & Timmy West(Danny is cradling his arm) (West) “Reaver thinks he can run around doing whatever he wants. No, No, No… I will take that title and I will break you in half you son of a b****!” (Cavanagh) “Reaver’s tough, but he had to exploit my arm cause he couldn’t beat me clean one on one by just being the better fighter. You’ve shown what kind of man you are tonight, a coward.”

BISON Yano & Brute Kikuchi(Brute) “Tonight was not our night… Since we got assaulted by PILLARS, BISON hasn’t been 100%, KitoGuchi said they wouldn’t take advantage of that and they did, I see where they stand now on how much they respect us. Next time they won’t be so lucky to have our respect going into the match.” (BISON) “I knew they would go after my injury, no team wouldn’t. We just lost the Glory Tag Crown though and all that’s on my mind is getting my hands on Akinori Kwakami & Noriyori Sanda. I want to break them Brute.” (Brute) “They targeted us, and now we are gonna target them.”

PILLARS MMXX (Kozue Kawashima, Akinori Kwakami, & Noriyori Sanda) (Kawashima) “Seiji is an excellent wrestler, that is missing a drive for success that leads him down an empty path with little fulfillment. He holds that title that stands for the King’s Road, and he ignores it’s roots, the roots his uncle planted. It’s disrespectful to him and everyone that has held that belt. The reason he ignores that past, the reason for the disrespect is that he knows he is weaker than all the champions before him. He couldn’t win the title until Mushashibo-San decided to throw his weakens on top of everyone else and call for the end of King’s Road. But like I said, King’s Road will never end. No matter how many press conferences are done, how many times Mushashibo or Inukai want to talk about change, I will keep King’s Road alive alongside my fellow PILLARS. We will take out the images of weakness and Seiji Jimbo will be at our feet, in defeat, tonight was not that night. But mark my words… It… Will… Happen.”

Though Ugaki did cut him down a lot in this match, Kobe finally felt like he had a challenge. </p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Kozue Kawashima, Akinori Kwakami, Noriyori Sanda, Mamoru Nagahama, & Goemon Komiya VS. Seiji Jimbo, Brute Kikuchi, BISON Yano, Tetsunori Yasuda, & Hirobumi Takimoto</strong></p><p><strong>

</strong></p><p>

Kozue Kawashima made bold statements last night. Claiming that, though, Akinori wasn’t able to get the win last night that Seiji Jimbo will be at the PILLARS feet one day. Interestingly Kozue didn’t challenge Seiji for the title like Seiji was asking him to. Seiji just wants to shut up Kozue but might Kozue be afraid or does he have a plan? Brute & BISON lost the Glory Tag Crown last night, and though they were mad their attention is on Akinori Kwakami & Noriyori Sanda 100%. Through this match the two tag teams brawled a lot with Brute & BISON instigating. Mamoru & Goemon continued to show tag team acumen but were outdone by Tetsunori & Hirobumi. Seiji & Kozue got in the ring together one time when Noriyori had Seiji in control. Kozue would feast on Seiji with hard forearms to the head and chest, until Seiji hit a lariat and tagged.</p><p> </p><p>

After the match <strong>PILLARS MMXX</strong> have the ring for the show ending promo. Kozue says to reestablish King’s Road in PGHW they must welcome people who agree with their ideals into the group. But they will not accept people who’ve shown weakness time after time. So those who are given the honor to join us must prove they deserve it. He gives Mamoru Nagahama a rundown of his accolades and history with PGHW and Goemon Komiya’s history of being looked over no matter how much fight he gives. Kozue tells them they can be a part of something bigger then themselves by joining PILLARS, that he’ll offer them spots in the group if on the next tour, the Tour of Respect, Mamoru & Goemon can go undefeated. Mamoru & Goemon contemplate, as Kozue speaks on how PILLARS will the holdup King’s Road while others try to tear it down. They will uphold the strength this company represents and take out the weakness that it has portrayed.<strong><em> [50]</em></strong></p><p> </p><p>

<span style="font-family:System;"><span style="font-size:12px;">- Toyota Munakata & Simon Flemingway went right for the SAISHO loyalist KAZ and taught him what it’s like in PGHW. With experience of constantly facing wrestlers bigger than they are Munakata, Flemingway, & Yoshikawa will have an advantage going into the Junior Division. KAZ showed that he can really hang with them here; though he got pinned he still was able to show he’s on their level and deserves a spot in the Junior Division.</span></span></p><p><span style="font-family:System;"><span style="font-size:12px;"> </span></span></p><p><span style="font-family:System;"><span style="font-size:12px;">

- Kazushige Matsuki gets a win here making up for last night’s loss, and gets it over his rival from last night Gonnohyoe Kada. Kada continues his downward spiral since losing the PGHW International Title, something needs to change in him. Kobayashi & Kamachi end this tour with their first win, while The Ring Generals finish a disappointing tour without a win. The gaijin team will certainly have they eyes peeled to regain the momentum they had as Glory Tag Crown holders in 2019 in the next tour. </span></span></p><p><span style="font-family:System;"><span style="font-size:12px;"> </span></span></p><p><span style="font-family:System;"><span style="font-size:12px;">

- Masaru Ugaki & Ryoma Muruyama shoot a big shot at KitoGuchi, as Ugaki submits Bussho with the Ugaki Clutch. Ugaki has taken his singles experience into his return with Ryoma so he is even better in terms of one on one competition. But with this being a 6-man tag it may be a preview of what’s to come with Ugaki & Muruyama getting Glory Tag Crown Championship Gold. After being upstaged Magnum Kobe would tag out to Bussho and not come in for the rest of the match only hitting a dive onto Suzuki. Kitoaji and Ugaki made intense glares at each other as Kitoaji helped Bussho out of the ring. It was as if Ugaki called out Kitoaji without saying a word.</span></span></p><p> </p><p>

Semi-main popped a big rating..that's something to remember ;)

Still digging the PILLARS storyline. I'm not entirely sure if Nagahama and Goemon accepted or not, but I think that was intentional.

I hope KitoGuchi beats Ugaki & Ryoma, I like them way too much to see them lose and/or split up yet!

OOC: When I say media I mean you the readers. If you’d like to be a part of the media you could make up a publication, a fake reporter name and send me the questions you’d like to ask the wrestlers either by PM or in the thread. If you’d just like to ask the question without making up a name or publication that’s fine too, just as long as you’re ready for the answers.
