Spending the ₡urrency

Going Forward the Diary will now be a 2 Player. Myself will continue to play as WCW while The Lloyd will join as the WWF. There are just 2 weeks of shows left on the TEW 2016 platform right now, as we will be booking and writing up until the end of October 2001.

As i am posting this, we will already be continuing on the TEW 2020 platform, where the data will have been transferred over to match the current TEW 2016 data perfectly.

The only change to data will be Contract lengths. Prior to transferring the data, anyone with contracts over 2 years would be shortened automatically to below 2 years. We then proceeded to set the contracts 10-15 days apart so that they don't all end at once. This should hopefully help to add drama as the diary progresses.

WCW and WWF will be back at war with both sides now actively looking to each other as competition. We have agreed on a large set of ground rules no contracts are allowed over 2 years unless they are non-exclusive.

There will be what we refer to as “Black Mondays” on our schedule. These will happen twice a year and replicate the WWE’s actions in the mid 2000’s where they would Future Endeavors the deadwood. We must release a minimum of 4 workers twice a year which should help to keep the rosters fresh.

We will be limiting the number of Developmental signings per month to 1 Worker or Team a month, excluding the two months where the “Black Mondays” occur.

When we compete for contracts, we may share the contract negotiation battles, however this might not always be the case. Sometimes a worker might just was to fool it's former employer that it's leaving and just doesn't want to resign. There is no format for this in the game, so we will first have to both agree on releasing this detail. A prime example is the Dean Ambrose/Jon Moxley AEW switch.

Copyright and Trademarks will be adhered to strictly, Signing someone like Kane or Mankind to WCW would mean they could not use these names anymore. Adding more layers of realism to the diary.

As for Trademarks, Gimmicks, Pay Per Views etc that came after the start of the Diary, they are free for all. Events like Fatal 4 Way, Money in the Bank, Anything created by the likes of TNA or ROH, just to give readers the idea.

Going forward we will also be introducing extra dimensions to play. We will be using a “₡” Currency scheme. Currency will be earned from Winning a Raw vs Nitro rating battle, Getting a good PPV rating and other such milestones.

The Monday Night Wars will be decided and rewarded under 2 formats, One will be using the in game Television Rating for the USA, the other will be using a poll System at the end of each Nitro and Thunder that will allow readers to rate the shows. The show with the higher rating gets the reward. For PPV’s, the reward will be based on how many Stars the PPV gets from readers. From 1-5 stars, the ₡ Reward amount will rise with each star. So a 1-Star could get the winner ₡5 but a 5-Star could get ₡50.

Other rewards are meeting certain targets/achievements. These include getting a 100/A* rated PPV, Win a National Battle, win 3 Back to Back National Battles, Draw 100,000 fans to an event, have the highest Prestige, Momentum, World Title ratings of the month. Hopefully this will help keep things super competitive.

Finally rewards will be given at the end of the year, by public poll for things such as the better company, best Male Worker, Best PPV Event etc. The in game End of Year Awards will also be used as rewards.

The last one is the Power 500 of the year. Having a worker in the Top 10, Top 25 and Top 50 will all get ₡ Rewards.

There will be 3 ways in which Players can spend their Currency. You have the Shopping list for yourself, The Voodoo Shopping List and the Cash-Out Shopping list.

Shopping List

Users can buy things that will boost certain aspects of the game. These can include Finances, Worker Skills and Popularity and even unlock features for use. We can use ₡urrency to buy “Acting Classes” which would need documenting in a news story. The X% gain will then be randomly decided between predetermined amounts and added to the worker in question.

Users will also be able to activate things such as a Video Game Release or get a Worker to Front a TV Add. This will also trigger News reports and boosts in Popularity or Wealth.

Finally will be the ability to unlock features for play. So that we don't rush to create a Broadcaster or Huge Arenas, we will have to use Currency to allow us to unlock those features, such as unlocking an “Internet Network” or “Cable Network”.

Voodoo List

Rather than use the in game battle features such as “Plant a Story” or “Openly Mock” we will now have to purchase them to use them, each with a 90% chance of success, so they won't always work.

Kayfabe Injuring a worker is also available. This will allow a player to force the competition to put a worker on “Paid Leave” for between 1 Week and 6 Months. They will have to be written off with an Injury Storyline.

Cash-Out

This is simple, Using the ₡urrency, Players will be able to save it up to eventually purchase in game currency. Packages range from $100,000 to $10,000,000. Just to give an idea, it costs ₡100,000 to buy $10,000,000, with Monday Night War wins each getting a player ₡10… it's not going to be something that can be abused.

Going Forward, The Currency Scheme will go into play starting November 1st. Using the in game ₡urrency reward scheme. This is down to TEW 2020 allowing Network Specific results wich isnt available in TEW 2016.

The Public Monday Night and Thursday Night battle results will start with show 1. Each Time a reader is asked to rate Raw Is War vs Nitro on the following… The Matches, Writing, Storytelling, Graphics or all and more. The show with the most votes gets the ₡urrency reward.

Bail Out

Finally there is a failsafe method built in just in case a Promotion is suffering the effects of defeat using the in game results. If a Worker loses 3 Months back to back in National Battles, it will have a Bailout Package. This will include minor things such as an extra Developmental signing. If a promotion Loses for 6 months running, the Bailout items increase. This continues to the 12 Month and 21 Month (84 Weeks) milestones. Each bailout getting progressively more helpful with added sacrifices. Such as requiring a player to release a top 10 or top 2 star in order to accept the bailout or fight on without it.

But now it's time to try something completely different... To step out of my comfort zone, if you will... In fact, I'll be stepping out of about three comfort zones... WWE has always been my home, and I like writing for them... I also enjoy the odd Cverse diary, but have always stuck to modern Sports Entertainment in all of my diaries, and most of my private saves... So this effort will certainly be different... It's also set in a time I'm familiar with, but was more familiar with 20 years ago... because it's set in 2001!! Not only that, but I'm joining an already established project, around five months in, and a lot has changed... Add to that that my 'opponent' and co-writer Togg is a complete moron, and you've got a recipe for disaster...

If I was naming this diary, it would be WWF vs WCW 2001: What's The Worst That Could Happen...?!

In all seriousness, I am joining the brilliant Togg and his equally brilliant WCW: Saving The Legacy project... In his universe, WCW obviously survived, and he's running them. He's already five months in, and so a lot has happened to WWF since then, including losing a few talents, and a LOT of heel/face and face/heel turns. I'll try to catch you all up as best I can.

May was a quiet month in general, but a lot of faces came in the door to bolster the roster after the Global Expansion of the World Wrestling Federation. One newcomer who caught everyone by surprise was the former member of the Rockers alongside Shawn Michaels: Marty Jannetty... He actually came in and beat Jerry Lynn for the Cruiserweight Title on his first night with the company at Judgement Day.

(second to Bret Hart, who was also a two-time winner, and won his two back to back)... There were a bunch of great matches on the KOTR pay-per-view...

WWF Management made a really tough call in July 2001... They decided to abolish the Women's Division here, and focus their attention on the Men's side of things... They felt that having a division dedicated to one type of performer, that couldn't interact or wrestle with the roster, made it feel too 'stand alone', and an unintegrated part of the show... They felt that they could only realistically give one match, and one other segment to the division, and to do it justice, it needs a lot more. WWF Women's Champion Chyna dropped her Belt to Lita, before departing for WCW to wrestle under the name: Chyner... Lita then dropped the Title in the trash, as she and the Hardy Boyz turned heel!! (*Author's Note: Obviously, I decided to drop the Women's Division, not the game. I felt like I couldn't do it justice in that era. All contracted women will remain employed as 'managers' etc.*)

WWF Vengeance (2001)... Austin again retaining, over the Undertaker (99)... Big Show defeated Chris Benoit (98)... Fresh off the back of his King of the Ring victory, Kurt Angle did not appear on the show...

August was a fairly uneventful month... Edge and Christian turned babyface, and continued their feud with the Hardy Boyz, who are now dastardly heels... The Godfather and Val Venis also turned face, with Godfather joining up with the APA (Acolytes Protection Agency) in order to take on extra work for extra cash... Jerry Lynn became very bitter about Marty Jannetty's success, and has turned heel... As have Test, Steve Blackman, Funaki K-Kwik and Billy Gunn... K-wik and Gunn have recently formed an alliance with X-Pac known as 'New Generation X', or NGX for short... Albert and Perry Saturn are Terri Runnels' latest 'toys' as a badass, bald, tattooed up, tag team... Hardcore Holly also beat Rhyno for the Hardcore Championship...

WWF SummerSlam (2001)... What a time for Steve Austin to beat Chris Benoit (100) and score a 100 rated match... It boosted the overall show rating to a massive 93... Still no Kurt Angle at the show!!

Triple H and Steve Austin continued to dominate the landscape on Monday Night RAW and beyond... The 'Two Man Power Trip' held all the Gold up until September, with Austin as WWF Champion, Triple H as Intercontinental Champion and the pair of them as WWF Tag Team Champions... Backed heavily by WWF Chairman Vince McMahon, the duo looked unstoppable. That was until Austin got greedy and said he wanted the IC Title too. It lead to him costing Triple H the Belt against an old rival in Test, and the 'Two Man Power Trip' were done!! They even vacated the WWF Tag Team Titles... Austin had a new rival soon though, as the recently returned 'People's Champion' The Rock came knocking for a Title shot... at Unforgiven...

We're still in October as we speak, and we're one week away from the No Mercy pay-per-view... It'll be headlined by Stone Cold Steve Austin defending his WWF Title against his two biggest rivals: The Rock and Triple H... Rocky is back for good, and he wants to get back to the top of the company again, while Triple H wants revenge for Austin costing him his Intercontinental Championship.

Other matches include: D'Lo Brown versus Kurt Angle... D'Lo has been waiting a long time to get his hands on Angle after the former Olympian famously said that “D'Lo doesn't coount” when it comes to previous Euro/Continental Champions... Speaking of which, Chris Jericho will try to win BOTH of those Belts at No Mercy, as he battles the respective Champions: Matt Hardy and Test... We'll also see Eddie Guerrero take on Razor Ramon in what should be an instant classic... The Undertaker versus the returning Jake 'The Snake' Roberts... Jake tried to put his snake into Undertaker's wife's car, and the American Badass doesn't take that kind of crap from anyone... Marty Jannetty takes on the man he beat for the Cruiserweight Title: Jerry Lynn... and The Big Show and Kane will battle the Dudley Boyz, who are hell-bent on putting Show through a damn table!!

Annoyingly, right before I took over the book, Chris Benoit picked up an injury in a 90 rated match with Dean Malenko on RAW, October Week One... He's out of action, but I'm not going to make public how long for...

We'll pick things up with one episode of RAW, and some results from Smackdown... Then it's on to No Mercy 2001 and beyond.

Ahh no. That's annoying. Looks okay on my PC, but hopefully it gets clearer for you as I've used it a fair amount in the graphics

No Mercy Contract Signing and Weigh-In

We cut to a pre-taped video next, showing the contract signing between Eddie Guerrero and Razor Ramon...

Razor has been calling Eddie all kinds of things in recent weeks, including a 'cheat' and a 'Fake Bad Guy'... but Eddie's not let any of it get to him...

For the weigh-in, Eddie looked like a million bucks, tipping the scales at 235lbs... Ramon got all the way to 287lbs... but Eddie was in great shape...

As they went to sign the contracts, Ramon grabbed a microphone...

Razor Ramon: “Ay YO... Eddie... Listen... It doesn't have to be this way, man... You don't have to go to all the way to No Mercy, only to lose to the 'Bad Guy'... Razor Ramon...!! You cooould... just join me... Be my 'understudy'...”

Eddie thought aabout it, as the press took pictures and he asked them for their advice... They stayed relatively quiet...

Then 'Latino Heat' stuck a thumb deep into Ramon's eye!! The fan favourite signed the contract and then got the heck out of there!!

Ramon couldn't see a damn thing, but as he came round, Eddie was long gone... He shook his head, and signed the contract...

Anyone But Stone Cold

Backstage, The Rock and Triple H were arguing about which one of them is going to beat 'Stone Cold' Steve Austin for the WWF Championship at No Mercy...

Rock said it was his time... and it was time for the Championship to return to 'The People'... But Triple H didn't care about the people...

Triple H: “I'm going to end Austin's run... Just like he ended my run as Intercontinental Champion, AND Tag Team Champion... I'm going to put... him... down!! And if you get in my way Rock... I'll put you down too...”

RAW General Manager Mick Foley walked up, and told 'The Game' and 'The People's Champ' that they need to get on the same page, NOW!!

Mick Foley: “I don't care WHICH one of you stops him, but one of you, is going to beat Steve Austin this Sunday... Mr. McMahon is coming back soon... We may not get another chance like this to end his reign...”

Vince McMahon has had Austin in his pocket for months, and helped 'Stone Cold' to become Champion in the first place...

Foley said that tonight, Triple H and The Rock will team up in the Main Event... against dangerous opponents, in The Headshrinkers (Haku & Samu)...

A welcome return to the WWF for D'Lo Brown, who has spent nine months down in developmental after the ill-fated 'Lo-Down' tag team run ended. Brown was fired up tonight, and he hit his 'Sky-High' finisher to end things here against a game Funaki.

D'Lo began by talking about a promo that has plagued his career for a whole year...

He said that at No Mercy, he gets the chance to right a wrong, and show Kurt Angle what he's made of... But he was interrupted mid-flow...

'The Ego-Maniac' Chris Jericho said he was glad D'Lo Brown brought up the subject of 'Euro-Continental Champions'...

Chris Jericho: “Because at No Mercy, I will beat Matt Hardy AND Test, in the same night... to win BOTH Championships... Now... If you don't mind kid, watch what I do to Val Venis!!”

D'Lo knew he couldn't win a fight with Jericho, having just competed in a match... So he left the ring, and left Jericho to it...

Great match here. Jericho is a different level when it comes to in-ring work, and he made light work of Venis in the end. The 'Big Valbowski' got a good reaction from the fans, but in the end he had to tap out to the 'Walls of Jericho'.

The veteran Jake 'The Snake' Roberts returned to the WWF back in May of this year, and has yet to compete inside the ring...

When it comes to 'Mind Games', Taker is one of the best of all time, and he's going to let a snake get into his head like that...?! He's a former World Class... Former World Famous... Former World Champion... He even beat ME at WrestleMania 8... The 'Streak' started with me... He's now 9 and 0 at 'Mania... Undefeated... In case you didn't know...”

Jake paused to take a breath... He looked like he could still go in the ring, but surely he's going to be no match for the 'American Badass' at No Mercy...

Jake Roberts: “But now... Taker is 'The American Badass'... Well I'M an American Badass too... I'm the Original American Badass... and I'm going to take him to SCHOOL!!”

Albert and Saturn look like they've been teaming together for years, and they dismantled Bob and Crash Holly here. 'Hardcore' is actually the current Hardcore Champion, but it was Crash who was pinned in the end, and Terri's boys didn't seem concerned with that particular Championship.

Bubba Ray Dudley: “Kane... Is not so scary... and Big Show... Sure, he's big... But he's not THAT big... At No Mercy... Mah Brother D-Von and I... are going to P... P... P... Pu... PUT, them BOTH through a table!!”

The two carried on with what they were doing, after Bubba mumbled: “D-Von, get that table!”...

With Matt Hardy's guidance from ringside, Jeff was ruthless out there tonight. He didn't even need to hit the Swanton Bomb after a dominant and vicious display against the veteran Al Snow. In the end, a 'Twist Of Fate', followed by the Swanton, were enough.

He asked The APA if they'd do him a 'freebie', since they're probably on his side anyway... and nobody wants a 'relic' like Marty Jannetty holding the Title...

Faarooq: “A freebie you say...?! So you want us to take someone out for you... and you're not gonna pay us...?! DAMN... That's funny kid... Hey Bradshaw... You handle the finances of this operation... Do we do freebies...?!”

Bradshaw: “NOPE...!! And I'll tell you another thing... If this little punk doesn't get out of here NOW, The Godfather is gonna come down on him like a ton o' bricks!!”

Lynn backed away and left, but not before kicking a nearby drinks cooler, and smashing a few bottles... The APA were furious!!

Triple H & The Rock [vs] The Headshrinkers (Haku & Samu)

Haku and Samu wrestle like rabid animals, and their savagery was hard for the two fan favourites to handle, particularly since Triple H and The Rock don't get along. Rocky took a beating from his fellow 'Islanders', leaving 'The Game' on the apron for most of the match. After a while, he was able to get the hot tag, and Triple H cleaned up. He took The Headshrinkers down with lariats and then spinebusters, delivering lifting knees and keeping the two Pacific tough guys on the back foot. For the finish, Rock tagged himself back in, and hit a 'Rock Bottom' on Haku, pinning him for the win!

After the match, Triple H wasn't happy with The Rock for blind tagging back in... He felt Rocky was just trying to get the 'glory'...

Rock told him to relax, but 'The Game' was fired up... and he shoved Rock backwards... The two men got into a brawl, and didn't notice the man sneaking into the ring...

'Stone Cold' Steve Austin grabbed The Rock, and hit a 'Stone Cold Stunner' on him, sending him flying after bouncing his chin off Austin's shoulder!!

Triple H put up more of a fight, but he too was soon taken down with a 'Stunner'... Austin gave both of his rivals the finger... He then called for some beers...

As the unknown man threw cans of 'Steveweiser' to him, he just 'no-sold' the throw, and walked away... The cans hitting the mat and bouncing away...

The crowd booed, but he gave THEM the finger too... Making them boo even more...

As the Tag Team Titles are currently vacated, we learned that Next Week on RAW, there will be the first of TWO four way tag team matches...

The winners of these two matches will go to Survivor Series to fight for the vacant Titles...

Monday Nitro opens with the usual pyro and music intro and as the Lights come up, we see Jeff Jarrett and Stacy Keiber in the ring. Jeff Jarrett wastes no time getting red faces as he launches into a scathing rant about how last week was a total disrespect to everything he's tried to make WCW. Jarrett says each and everyone of those who helped out last week will feel the wrath of the Elite Era at some point, promising that they don't forgive or forget. Jarrett then says he will make the Horsemen the first ones on his list to punish, calling them a poor collection of wannabe stars with nothing but an old man who is far out of his depth as a leader. Jarrett then says Scott Steiner and Chyner are still at home recovering from the disgraceful actions at the hands of Goldberg. Finishing up, Jarrett says he is making a match tonight between himself and Lance Storm, where he will dish out the punishment first hand that he has been talking of.

After the promo in the ring ends, Flair is seen standing in front of a TV screen backstage, surrounded by the other members of the Nu-Horsemen. Flair says they now have to be tighter than ever, reminding them that the Elite Era doesn't play by the rules. Flair says he didn't get where he did today by playing by the rules, that's why they call him the dirtiest player in the game. Flair tells them that when they have to face anyone from the Elite Era, take no chances, use everything and cheat if they have to. They all nod as Flair says that it's going to be a tough few weeks ahead, but to keep positive because they now have one more person fighting the cause, Goldberg.

Road Warriors and The Natural Born Thrillers vs Kronik and Totally Buffed

Following on from the showing of respect between the two teams on Thunder, The Road Warriors and Natural Born Thrillers get to team up to fight common enemies. The match is pretty average but lasts some time, which sees the older members slow up. The win comes as Hawk and Animal hit the Doomsday Device on Luger, before Hawk gets down and gets the 3 count.

Mark Jindrak vs Rick Steiner

Following on from last week's Cheat to win, Steiner tries once again to level up and save himself from an early defeat, in what is now almost a title defence in every match. Jindrak once again looks great during the match, but it's a short lived match as Steiner uses a roll up and the ropes to pick up the victory, making it 3-2 to Jindrak with just 1 more Nitro to go before Halloween Havoc, we could see things evened up before the event, making it an epic showdown on the PPV itself.

Torrie Wilson is backstage in the makeup area when she sees two people approaching her in the mirror. As she turns around she see’s Shannon Moore and Evan Karagias who she greets warmly. Karagias turns things sour immediately as he tells Torrie that she overstepped the mark last week, that's when Moore tells her that she should keep her nose out of business that does not concern her. Torrie asks what the problem is, to which Karagias tells her that Helms goes further back with them and they know what's better for him. Torrie looks unimpressed and tells them he's his own man, he can make his own minds up. Moore then gets up in the face of Torrie and tells her, “Just stay out of it and leave him alone”. Karagias and Moore then back off leaving Torrie both intimidated and angry.

Bischoff tells Jarrett that he has no Sympathy for him after last week, telling him that when you poke a bear, you will get hurt. Jarrett tries to backtrack on his words from last week,where he gave in to Goldbergs demands. Bischoff cuts him off and tells him that it's caught on camera, that his lawyers are more than happy to accept it as a legal verbal agreement. Bischoff then says he doesn't care what condition Scott Steiner is in next week, he wants Steiner in the building ready to sign the contract for the match at WCW Halloween Havoc with Goldberg. Bischoff reiterated that it's for the WCW World Heavyweight Championship and the ability for Goldberg to return to WCW under contract. Jarrett looks mad and tells Bischoff that he's barbaric and blood thirsty, calling the Goldberg return the worst business decision since New York let him leave with the Gold. Bischoff tells him thats all, to which an angry Jarrett says “Thats not all”, before telling Bischoff that it's the beginning of the end of Mr Nice Guy, before he storms out.

Backstage and Mysterio and Kidman are sitting on a table, when Konnan walks by. The three guys talk and joke about the good times of the Filthy Animals. Mysterio asks how Kidman is doing with his quest for gold. Kidman says he has it all under control and asks how Mysterio and Konnan are dealing with that freak Vampiro. Konnan and Mysterio joke that it's like dealing with a group of people, bit just the one, questioning his sanity. Mysterio says he doesn't know who is going to show up each week, which is when Vampiro walks in. Vampiro puts his arm around Mysterio and says “Yeah Billy, how is your training going”. Kidman, Konnan and Mysterio look puzzled and awkwardly play along. Kidman answers and says He hopes to be the new Champ in 2 weeks. Vampiro then says “That's great man, sorry i gotta go, see you all later”. As he walks off, the Filthy Animals looks perplexed at what just happened

In a weird pairing, Booker T and Mike Awesome team up to take on their adversary for the WCW United States Championship, Kanyon and his buddy Chavo. Awesome and Booker work pretty well together under the circumstances and give the US and CW champions a good battle. Awesome however is still on a roll as he yet again picks up the victory with an Awesome Bomb

Back on the Hollywood Film Lot and Nash is now having a heated argument with security on the Lot. Nash tells them he isn't going anywhere that he is peacefully sitting and awaiting his friend to arrive. The Guards eventually cave and tell him not to cause any trouble, to which Nash promises he is a law abiding citizen who supports the law and doesn't condone violence. Nash then puts his bum back in the seat and continues to eat and drink his supplies.

Billy Kidman vs Shannon Moore

Following on from the earlier confrontation between 3 Count and Torrie Wilson, Kidman comes to the ring with intent on his face. Both men exchange strong words before the match starts. Kidman looks to be the better of the two throughout, but Moore tries his best to keep up. The match ends when Torrie, who is at ringside, distracts Karagias and Moore by getting on the Apron. Karagias comes to talk her down and Moore looks angry in the ring. This allows Kidman to knock Moore to the mat and set up his Shooting Star Press Finnish.

We are back on the set of the Hollywood Film Studio where we now see Kevin Nash being surrounded by onsite security. They try to talk Nash down, who is now getting irritated as they tell him they have to cuff him and escort him off the premises. After a brief standoff, Nash agrees and allows the Security to cuff him. That's when DDP shows himself peering out of a doorway. Page laughs loudly and shouts to Nash that maybe he should have just stayed at home. Nash begins to shout abuse at Page, calling him The Crock and the Nobodys Champion. Page Smirks and makes a charge for Nash. Page gets in a few blows on Nash who is cuffed and held back by security. Page shouts at the security to get Nash out of here now before he does something he regrets. Nash is then bundled into the back of a car as Page shouts at Nash to stay with his own people, that he doesn't belong here unless he wants a job as a janitor.

Nash is arrested by security, as DDP shows himself and laughs at Nash getting taken away.

Mean Gene is now backstage with The Road Warriors. Hawk says he couldn't wait to get back in the ring with his partner, saying he wanted to come here to write a wrong. That's when Animal says he has unfinished business here after what went down with The Elite Era a few months ago. Animal says he knew of nobody better to help him when it came to getting revenge, calling Hawk is “Brother”. Hawk then says they will start their quest for revenge at Halloween Havoc when they take the Tag Team Championship from Luger and Bagwell who need the smirk wiped off their faces.

Lance Storm vs Jeff Jarrett

Jarrett and Storm have a great match with Storm looking superb throughout. Jarrett brings an extra edge to the match, a rage for what happened the previous week at the hands of Goldberg, The Nu-Horsemen and the WCW roster. No matter how much Jarrett tries, Storm continues to fight hard and fast, not staying down long enough to capitalise. In the end the shocker is that Chyner has been in the arena all along, as she makes her way down the ramp, taking long enough to distract Storm and allow Jarrett to hit the Stroke on Storm and getting the 3 count.

Winner: Jarrett

As Jarrett and Chyner celebrate in the ring, Storm makes his way up the ramp, where Ric Flair walks out from behind the curtain to join him. Flair holds up Storm as both men look at Jarrett and Chyner in the ring, leading to a stare down to end Monday Nitro.
