Honored by the bolded part, dear sir. As for LaRue, I was indeed taking the long route in building her up, but USPW just swept in and got her. Was a little surprised to be honest, I expected Fro Sure or Cali Slick to be signed before Foxxy.

Stay tuned for the following episode, folks!

A lowrider is shown driving into the parking lot of the Warehouse while blasting Chicano rap, with MexiCain driving and LatiNoFear riding shotgun. As soon as the vehicle is parked, the two men hop out but Mexican Hardcore Killers appear from wherever they had been hiding and attack them. E-Z wields a tire iron to slam LNF's head, while Sanchez Villano uses his neck chain to choke MexiCain, before ramming his head to the side door.

Back inside the Warehouse, the main show kicks off with the debut of "The Hollywood Luchador" La Estrella, who comes to the ring accompanied by Kandii, revealing him as the mystery man from last week's closing segment. The cocky Estrella gets a mixed reaction from the audience as he goes to hi give fans and take selfies with them; they enjoy such immediate interaction but just can't stand his cocky attitude. Meanwhile, Clifford Caves puts him over on commentary as a big player in the movie business, while Moses Makesh says he's never heard of him and MC Motormouth jokes about him maybe being a stunt double for someone, what with all the flippy sh*t these luchadors from Mexico do all the time.

The match itself is, predictably enough, a spotfest between the two high flyers, showcasing G's daredevil antics and mostly Estrella's smooth aerial moves. Ironically enough though, Estrella and Kandii keep getting in each other's way during the bout, infuriating the cocky Mexican and creating chances for his opponent to regain control of the match. It doesn't come to pass though, as once Estrella gets a bit of offence rolling, he pulls off his Hollywood Press finish and gets the pinfall win.

BPLM hit the ring next, with Diamond signalling for their music to be cut so she can speak.

Diamond: "Foxxy LaRue... I seriously don't get what your issue with us two is. First you mess with Miss Jones and kick her out of GSW. Then you act all high and mighty leading us into battle and all that sh*t, only to fail time and time again. I don't know how you do it, but you somehow managed to burn bridges both with ya boi Deaf Touch and now us. I don't know the situation between you and him, but I know just because you beat Jo here last week doesn't mean we're through with you. I'll see you in this ring next week!"

A pretty by-the-numbers hardcore tag match, this one starts with Finest trading blows with his opponents but once Galindo gets the tag, he finds himself on the wrong side of town and takes a beating, building to the hot tag. MexiCain and LatiNoFear are nowhere to be seen though (since viewers know they were attacked earlier) and Guerilleros seem lost without their usual run-ins and numbers advantage, leading to Finest getting the hot tag but running out of fuel and taking a big chokeslam from Boneyard who pins him.

A pre-taped video is shown next, with Magwitch standing in what appears to be an abandoned circus or country fair.

Magwitch: "Heeeenryyyy... You make a clown sad. Did you forget about me? Was a barb wire bat to the back not enough to draw your attention? Well, I guess that only means I have to try harder... Next week, Henry, you're going on a ride through my psycho circus! AAAAAAAAHahahahahaha..."

Well acquainted with each other from their IPW days, the two men showcase just that as they dodge, reverse and anticipate each other's usual attacks in a rapidly escalating fistfight. With Muvva's usual shenanigans and Cindy at ringside, Ali is the de facto babyface in this match fighting an unfair uphill battle that quickly spills out of the ring and into the audience.

b3oqHWa.png

Said audience also includes E-Soteric who's blended in with the crowd and appears at just the right time to swing a chair at Ali. This is the straw that breaks, no pun intended, the proverbial camel's back and Muvva is quick to capitalize, getting Ali back in the ring with the assistance of his wife and manager, throwing in a Hustler's Headbutt for good measure to score the three count and retain.

Fro Sure bursts into Brother Grimm's office, catching the owner of GSW in the middle of a phone call.

Fro: "Grimm, we need to talk, baby."

Grimm calmly ends the call and turns his attention to the American champion.

Grimm: "Sh*t son, just 'cause you the champion doesn't mean you can just walk in here without knocking first!"

Fro: "Sorry 'bout that, Grimm, I'm just fired up. Those IPW n***as been hijacking the show! There's more of 'em coming every week and our guys are being shoved aside. Hell, did you just watch the ring? Two of 'em, main eventing in a title match."

Grimm: "Calm down, kid. That's just one episode. Last week I had Stash and Blake main eventing."

Fro: "It ain't the same thing and you know it."

Grimm: "So what, you want a title match? You're money, Fro. Can't have you defending your title on weekly television. You're supposed to headline the big shows!"

Fro: "So don't put my title on the line! Tell you what, next week, you give me Stash and Blake in a three way, non-title match."

Grimm: "That's actually a pretty good match up, Fro... But here's the deal, if either of those guys end up winning, I'm giving them a shot at your title."

Fro: "Deal. I ain't afraid to wrestle nobody and I ain't gonna hide behind my gold. Anyone think they can step up and take if from me, Imma knock em out!"

The scene fades into Brother Grimm's office, dimly lit and full of smoke that lingers like a heavy curtain. Aces High and Cali Slick are also present, apparently in the middle of a heated argument already.

Aces: "Word is bond, yo, all I want is another chance. Slick here be down with that"

Slick: "You trippin' homie. I beat you ass at Game of Death. I ain't gotta prove nothing, the f**k should I wrestle you again for?"

Aces: "You scared, blood?"

Grimm: "Shut the hell up, both of you. Slick, I hear ya, but Aces got a point askin' for this match. Now I don't care bout no beef between you two, but hell, Game of Death blew the roof off. There's money in a rematch."

Aces: "That's what I'm talkin' bout!"

Grimm: "I said shut up, I ain't done talking. I got another lil' situation to deal with after last week's main event, so here's what's gonna happen. Next week, you team up for a match and if you win, I'll give you another one on one."

Aces: "Deal! Who we fightin'?"

Grimm stares daggers at Aces, pissed at him interrupting once again.

Grimm: "I'mma put you in a match against E-Soteric and Frantic Ali. They hate each other's guts too, so it should be a fair fight."

Slick: "And if we lose?"

Grimm: "Well I ain't got no matches on my show for losers now, do I? You win, you get your match. They win, I'm giving a shot at the West Coast title to whoever man pins yo black asses."

A remix of LaRue's match from two weeks ago, this time it's Diamond in the ring and Baker on the sidelines, but that doesn't change anything about the quick pace of the match or the fact that it's an all out brawl with little actual wrestling on display. This means the veteran fox has a chance to control most of the match while Diamond doesn't get a chance to deliver any of her usual suplexes, but at least she proves she's no slouch when it comes to stand and bang. Baker's presence outside is enough to create an opening when she smashes Foxxy with a chair and although she pays for it by having it kicked in her face, Baker's sacrifice allows Diamond to make a comeback and bring the fight back into the ring, where she hits LaRue with a trifecta of Belly to Back suplexes before going for the cover, which she manages to hold down for three.

A panoramic sky shot of the iconic Hollywood sign lowers down into a movie set. La Estrella doing battle with a muscled man in a black mask, apparently the antagonist of the film, on a scaffolding by a burning building. The villain throws a punch, but Estrella ducks under and springs up into a dropkick, knocking the bad guy off the structure and down to his doom. At least in the film, presumably, because the actor in the mask does land on a crash pad below. The director yells cut and praises Estrella for a flawless take. The man himself effortlessly hops down to the ground, is handed a bottle of water and walks towards the camera recording all this, addressing the audience while lacking even a bead of sweat on his forehead.

72OERDv.png

Estrella: "You know, life as an action movie hero can be hard. There's blows to be struck, guns to be fired, explosions to be exploded, witty one liners to be said and charming senioritas to rescue. But I do it all, and even perform my own stunts. Even if I wanted to protect my beautiful face, my perfect body... I could never get a stunt double, because there is no other like me. You saw that on WrestleWorld last week, si? Well, don't worry. There's more where that came from next week, when The Hollywood Luchador, La Estrella, returns to The Warehouse and GSW!"

Magwitch makes quite the entrance for this one, riding a golf cart painted in all sorts of clown colors to the ring. Well, painted might not be the best way to describe it, as it looks like someone repeatedly shot it with a paintball gun. Still, the cart is loaded with all sorts of equipment for the match and GSW's resident psycho clown gleefully pulls out a golf club from one of the bags, which he proceeds to swing at his opponent. Well aware that he's not the kind to dodge, Henry simply takes the hit, then yanks the club out of his opponent's hands and snaps it in half! This more or less sets the tone for the rest of the match, with Magwitch going full hardcore using any of the items he's brought with him, from light tubes to a literal kitchen sink, while Henry is an absolute monster, taking as much punishment as he dishes out.

WJeFlln.png

What turns the tide in favor of Magwitch is the appearance of a second clown, who joins in to beat Henry with various discarded items. With the big man reeling, the newcomer ascends to the top turnbuckle and jumps off to hit Henry with a Flying Double Foot Stomp, the signature move revealing him to be Hellech, one half of IPW's legendary Coulrophobia tag team! Before anyone can wonder what the hell he's doing here (or where his teammate Pierrot might be), Hellech helps Magwitch pull Henry up and deliver a Stump Piledriver for good measure, before making the pin.

Back in what seems to be a private, dimly lit area of The Warehouse, Los Guerilleros are convening.

Galindo: "Man, where the f**k were the two of you last week? We got murdered out there! You're supposed to have our backs!"

MexiCain: "We got jumped, aight? F**king Killers took us out just as we were parking the lowrider."

OffjN9U.pngtFO9aJT.pngvYCIMev.pngwajQZQx.png

Speak of the devil, E-Z and Sanchez Villano walk up to the scene. But they are not alone. Towering behind them are State of Destruction, their presence enough to make Los Guerilleros twice about attacking the Tag Team champions.

Villano: "Buenas noches yo, I thought I heard someone speak our name?"

MexiCain: "The f**k you want, cabron?"

Villano: "Easy now, I think it's you who wants something. A match for the titles, perhaps?"

MexiCain: "These are OUR titles!"

Villano: "I don't see you walking around with them... Anyway, I'm here to make a proposal. A deal that will make you happy and will make our friends here happy too."

BB Colossus and Bonyeard sneer menacingly in the background.

Villano: "Me an' E-Z here, we no cowards. We'll fight you again, and we'll beat you again... but only if you first put your trios titles on the line against BB, Boneyard... and a third partner of their choosing."

Los Guerilleros exchange glances, silently weighing the situation and considering their answer.

Villano: "I'm a fair man. All you gotta do is give them a title match. Win or lose, you still get to fight us for tag team gold."

The glances continue, until Mexico's Finest simply nods.

MexiCain: "Deal"

Main event time, a great match between great wrestlers. Stash gets to dominate early, forcing his two opponents to team up in order to take him out. This clears the ring for some straightforward back and forth fighting between Fro and Blake, before Stash rejoins them. Once again, the two smaller men try to team up against the Jamaican, but this time it's harder as they're hurt and exhausted from their earlier exchanges. Stash gets to shine a little more, before the other two manage to desperately knock him over the top rope to the outside, but then Fro is the faster one to immediately resume the attack on Blake. This builds up to TBJ getting hit with the Sure Thing piledriver, but as soon as Fro makes the cover, Stash grabs his leg and pulls him to the outside, powerslamming him to the floor. From there, Raheem goes back inside the ring to pick up Blake's almost lifeless body and hit his own Standing Powerslam for good measure, before putting a single foot on TBJ for the pin.

The scene is the inside of a boxing gym. Several people are training, huffing and grunting as they punch bags. Although dimly lit, the establishment seems to be on the fancy rather than the shady side of the spectrum.

E-Soteric: "I don't know why people think I sided with Muvva. Seriously, that bastard? I hate his stinking guts! Nah, what I wanna do is beat Muvva and take back my title. If that means I gotta swing a chair at Ali to take his spot, that's exactly what I'm gonna do. And next week, I'm willing to do anything to get that pin, so I can finally get my title shot. Unlike what was announced, Los Guerilleros do not put the Hottest Crew titles on the line for this match (oops, writer's error when typing out the prediction card) but it instead serves more or less as a warmup bout in light of their upcoming clash against State of Destruction and their mystery third partner. BPLM have no qualms about getting hardcore with the hispanic trio across them and although they do lack veteran leadership, Sheila Maivia feels more like a teammate and less like a leader, which in turn allows them to freely do their own thing while she adds her high flying arsenal to the ground based offence of her team. Still, between Los Guerilleros being more experienced as a three man group and the occasional assistance from Galindo, the match slowly but surely turns in their favor and LatiNoFear adds the exclamation point with a high flying All Or Nothing Headbutt on Maivia for the pin.</span></span></p><p><span style="color:#FFFFFF;"><span style="font-family:'Courier New';">

Hellech makes his official in-ring GSW debut and ironically enough, having Magwitch on his corner almost feels like laying his cards on the table: it's not a matter of if, but when he will get involved in the match. Since both competitors are relatively unknown to this audience, they go ahead to work a jaw dropping contest full of crowd popping high spots while playing to their strengths, as both of them are essentially Mexican luchadors. It's a little out of place compared to the usual GSW style of matches, but this makes it feel fresh, even if the high flying is more on the technical side instead of the daredevil stunts fans usually associate with aerial moves. As expected, Magwitch does end up getting involved, pulling Estrella's leg as he's on the top rope about to hit the Hollywood Press, knocking him down for Hellech to do his Flying Double Stomp finisher and score the fall.</span></span></p><p><span style="color:#FFFFFF;"><span style="font-family:'Courier New';">

The main event is another crazy brawl all over The Warehouse: in, out of the ring, in the crowd, on the bar and even at one point in the restrooms. The story here is what each team stands to gain if they win, the stakes affecting everyone's performance accordingly. Aces is his usual energetic self, now showing a greater sense of urgency as he's hellbent on earning another shot against his teammate to prove a point. Slick isn't as motivated to get a rematch but he doesn't want to fade into obscurity either, a fact that causes more than one arguments with his partner who thinks Slick isn't giving it his 100%. On the other hand, E-Soteric and Ali don't like each other as well, but they're motivated to earn a shot at the West Coast title and keep one-upping each other as every man looks to score a pin for themselves. What's strange is this attitude seems to work really well for them, leading to a performance that matches the experience of Aces and Slick as a team from bell to bell until the match returns to the ring. With Slick reeling on the floor, E-Soteric goes to the top rope, only for Ali to catch him in a fireman's carry position and give him the Death Valley Driver off the apron onto Slick. This clears the scene for a fired up Ali to turn his attention to Aces and after a brief exchange, reverse the Dead Man's Hand into another Death Valley Driver for the pin.</span></span></p><p><span style="color:#FFFFFF;"><span style="font-family:'Courier New';">

*Grimm's office, The Warehouse. First few days of February 2021*

Grimm put down the phone, chuckling to himself. ****ing losers. Serves 'em right for not treating him with the respect he deserves. Now they were going six feet under and they had no one but themselves to blame.

hyz1kXm.pngCnAns7p.png1zCxav3.pngR28fWdY.png

Aces High was hardly the first to call him and have a good laugh about IPW trying to sign him, in vain. It'd started with LatiNoFear, then came Slick, and after him, Stash. Vin Tanner was attempting to retaliate and convince GSW's big names to jump ship. All four had told him to go f**k his mother, or some variation of that. IPW were now the small league, a distant third in California behind CZCW and GSW and with each passing day they were only getting smaller. That cocky m******ker Gil Thomas, thinking he could just throw money at the problem and it'd go away. And even if that worked, he was throwing it the wrong way. But that was IPW, especially in the post Nemesis era. They had no clue how to run their business, no idea how to scout for talent and raise homegrown stars. Grimm felt good. He felt confident. He was winning.

The man in charge of GSW picked up his smartphone and tapped the screen to make a new call.

"Yo, that press release ready yet? Yeah, Beneath the City in March, Gatecrasher in June, King of California in September, Game of Death in December, right. Yeah, scrap the rest, I wanna build up the TV show. Good, send it to the media and make sure it's up on our website and all our social media."

The scene fades into a movie set, people moving around like ants. La Estrella casually struts by as an assistant runs up to him, offering a bottle of water. The masked luchador checks the label with disgust, then throws the bottle right at the poor assistant.

Estrella: "Are you trying to poison me? Get me constipated? LOOK AT ME WHEN I'M TALKING! Do I look like some plebe to you? I am a star! A STAR! Don't you dare offer to hydrate me with anything that isn't Fiji water!"

The assistant skulks off and Estrella recollects himself, before turning to address the camera.

Estrella: "A star's life is never easy. Whether it's the movies or the wrestling ring, people seem to not know how to treat greatness. I did not come to the hottest club in Los Angeles to wrestle clowns! You better start treating me with the respect I deserve, or I'm leaving this company and its second rate WrestleWorld carrier. You'll be crying tears of regret when you see my face on Reverie, but by then it will be too late!"

This was never meant to be about straight wrestling; between the chaos of involving six men (seven if one were to also count Galindo) and their documented ultraviolent tendencies, things devolved into an all out brawl almost instantly, with action spilling out of the rings and weapons quickly introduced to the contest, especially by the Brown Pride duo to make up for their size disadvantage. Several things happen at the same time and it's hard to keep track of the action, let alone call it, so it really feels like out of nowhere when Galindo tries to swing a wrench at Lil' Henry and misses, hitting Mexico's Finest. The shocked Puerto Rican immediately gets grabbed by the throat and Henry gives him the Double Handed Choke Bomb, dropping him right on the fallen ex convict, then makes the cover as referee Dwight Kumas counts the three. New champions!

Henry, BB and Boneyard are handed the titles, but they have little time to compose themselves and celebrate as Magwitch and Hellech run down the entrance into the ring holding giant sized clown hammers. Swinging wildly, the two clowns actually destroy the three big men and as the blows drop the new champions, they also damage the plastic hammers enough to reveal that they had been filled with concrete on the inside! Magwitch and Hellech celebrate, but right behind their backs, Boneyard rises back up and wraps a hand around each clown's throat, dropping them with a variation of a double chokeslam. It seems as though he's had the last laugh, when out comes...

Pierrot!

The other half of Coulrophobia, Pierrot is nothing like his smaller high flying partner; tall and powerful, he stands face to face up to Boneyard for a brief staredown. Boneyard simply shoves him back, but that was a mistake as Pierrot bounces off the ropes and explodes into his signature dropkick, getting insane elevation and hang time to kick Boneyard straight in the jaw!

Given Aces' ongoing feud with Slick, E-Soteric's West Coast title chase and Blake's recent shortcomings, every man has a point to prove and that fuels them to win this match, adding a sense of urgency to their moves and some nice storytelling heat to the bout. It's also an interesting clash of styles, with Aces bringing the hardcore action and high risk aerial offence, E-Soteric providing most of the straight up brawling and Blake getting all technical, providing a little bit of everything for every viewer regardless of their preference. Unlike most GSW matches that last ten minutes or less, this one is actually given some time to breathe, especially since there's often a third man to break up pin attempts and keep the contest going, but in the end it's Aces High who manages to wrangle a win when he slides out of a Black Plex attempt and hits the Dead Man's Hand on Blake for the pin.

Although there wasn't a specific prize on the line for the winner, Aces High still grabs a mic to speak after the match.

Aces: "Yo Grimm! That enough to prove I deserve another go at Slick?"

CnAns7p.png

The man himself comes out with a mic in hand, shaking his head in disappointment.

Slick: "Aces, bruh... Don't get it twisted. You're obsessing over this. I told yo black ass, this ain't just about that I beat you at Game of Death. I had the American title up to November, sh*t, I'm a two time GSW American champion. D'you know what that means? Like hell you do, you ain't ever won that title, Aces. Last time you held a singles title was what, 2016? You need me to carry your black ass. And I know it's eating you up, knowing you're nowhere near my level. But you're only embarrassing yourself, A. You wanna get your ass whooped again?"

Unable to mount a response after getting ripped on the mic like that, Aces simply drops his microphone and rushes up to lock horns with Slick. Security storms the scuffle to separate the two men as fans chant "let them fight".

Muvva versus Ali has been an ongoing feud in IPW and seeing their chemistry going at each other in this match was a clear indication as to why. Ali strikes a wonderful balance between size, power, skill, speed and stamina that served him beautifully throughout this crazy fistfight, while Muvva being Muvva plays the chickenshit heel, cowering away, begging for mercy, feigning injury and using every dirty trick in the book to gain an advantage so he can counterattack with his own strikes and signature headbutts. In a moment of inspiration and while Cindy is antagonizing him, Ali grabs her purse and proceeds to search through it, producing a pair of pink fluffy handcuffs, which he uses to cuff her to the barricade and prevent her from interfering in the match. Besides removing her from the equation, this also seems to throw Muvva's focus off as his attention is divided between his opponent and Cindy's screams for help, which in turn allows Ali to hit him with the Death Valley Driver in the middle of the ring and hold the pin without interruptions to claim the GSW West Coast title for himself.

The scene is a strip club. The camera pans through the action, eventually settling on a table where the Mexican Hardcore Killers are chilling with some female employees. A few drinks, stacks of money and the GSW Tag Team titles are on the table.

Villano: "Yo Cain, LNF! Congratulations on losing those Hottest Crew titles!"

Villano and E-Z laugh to themselves, the strippers trying to play along.

Villano: "Sh*t, that must hurt... But still, we're men of our word. We told you we'd give you a shot at our titles if you put the trios belts on the line, regardless of whether you'd keep 'em or not. Though seeing how that went, I think it's pretty safe to say you ain't gonna be winning our title match either, eh vatos?"

Stash's first real test on whether he's ready to crack the upper echelons of GSW, this match sees him dominate physically like he usually does, with Fro left to do most of the heavy lifting in terms of selling, hitting flashy moves during his comebacks and generally roping in the audience to care. This soon becomes a struggle for survival, as Fro pushes through the damage to kick out and stay in the match while trying to find a way to take the big man down. A big lariat knocks the American champion out of the ring and Stash also leaves the squared circle for some dirty brawling on the outside, but out of nowhere, Fro unleashes a battlecry and strikes with an open palm right into the chest of his opponent. Stash's eyes go wide for a moment, then the big man goes down like a felled tree. The ref rushes in to check on him, but Fro shoves him away, hellbent on scoring the pin to end this match. Unfortunately for him, he needs to do that in the ring and Stash is just way too heavy to be moved. Whether he's sandbagging Fro or legitimately knocked out, it is clear Stash isn't cooperating; thus, Fro gives up and the ref finally gets to check up on Stash, throwing the match as the paramedics rush in.

In the confusion, Fro Sure grabs the American title belt and holds it up high in the middle of the ring as the paramedics attempt to stretcher an unconscious Stash out. Fan reaction is muted due to the confusion about the finish and concern about Raheem's well being, but there's no denying the pop once the unmistakable beat of Havoc and Prodigy drops on the speakers.

Sayeed Ali is back in GSW!

Fro assumes a battle stance and turns towards the entrance as anticipation builds, but Ali comes out the crowd and jumps the barricade, catching Fro from behind and flattening him with a G.B.H. Driver!
